Rock and a hard place
Tsukune rolled over beneath the sheets of the bed his head pounding like heavy war drums.
"water." The young man groaned as his eyes opened groggily. His eyes did not recognize his surrounding. Sitting up and looking around he saw he was alone in a large bedroom that was well furnished. The bed the large oak bed he laid in had a night stand on either side, on each wall were paintings but none caught his eye like the three massive oak book cases on each wall of the room there shelves filed with old leather bound books.
"where am i?" Tsukune wondered seeing a chair next to the bed that was facing him so obviously someone had been there watching him.
"geez I think ive had enough surprises to last a lifetime. Better get out of here." Tsukune said before looking at the bedside table seeing a glass of tomato juice and a bowl of rice with an egg mixed in.
"hmm." Tsukune said as his stomach growled like a beast telling him to eat.
Cautiously the young man picked up the bowl and chop sticks taking a bite then he smiled it was fresh. He waisted no time eating and drinking his fill. Setting the now empty dishes back on the nightstand tsukune turned back around to see the priest sitting in the previously empty chair.
"hello." Tsukune said very calmly as he looked at the priest who was in newer set of robes that he had previously been in.
"good morning. Your not scared?" the priest said surprised a smile growing on his lips.
"if you were going to hurt me, I'd already be dead." Tsukune countered sitting on the bed.
"indeed, so mr. aono what do you remember?" the priest inquired his glowing eyes revealing themselves.
"not much, I remember my head was used for batting practice by those guards then lights out. Then I wake up in a dungeon, that's where it gets foggy." Tsukune explains
"interesting, so nothing else."
"I remember you leaving me in a den of vampires if that what you mean." Tsukune finishes in a strong tone. The two men sat for a moment in silence staring at each other as if waiting for the other to flinch.
"excellent, absolutely excellent Tsukune Aono." The priest says clapping before he stands up and pulls a golden letter out of his robe handing it to Tsukune.
"what is this?" asked the young man opening it and pulling out three documents.
"an academic scholarship to yokia academy. All expenses paid as well as a small allowance for activities." The priest explained
"neve heard of yokia academy." Tsukune growled before stammering seeing the allowance ' five thousand d-dollars American."
"you wouldn't, because up until last week you didn't meet the requirements to get into the school." This caught Tsukune attention, looking up from the documents his eyes met the priests.
"what requirement?" Tsukune eyes narrowed curious of the requirement that he had somehow newly met.
"you have to be a yokia." Tsukune rose to his feet his chest heaving.
"whoa, I'm no monster." The priest chuckled at this as he interlaced his fingers. The look in his eyes made the boys blood run cold but he kept his composer.
"who you trying to fool me or yourself. After everything that you have been through over the past few days is there any doubt?" tsukune lowered his head clenching his fist.
"lets make one thing clear… I'm human no matter what you say." the young man said with the defiance of his father.
"we'll see. So what do you say will you join my academy." The priest asked the smile only widening as he saw the boy rub his eyes in defeat.
"do I have a choice, you basically kidnapped me?" the boy said with no small amount of sass.
"of course you do. You either go to the academy or I homeschool you personally" the priest eyes glowed brighter at this sending a chill up Tsukune spine.
"school it is."
Welcome to yokia academy
It had been two weeks sense Tsukune was taken and forced into the life of the yokia. Although the priest private home was far more pleasant than the vampire realm.
The house itself was huge with over twenty room, two garages and a full library with more books than any human could read over a lifetime.
While tsukune did love to read and had already tore through ten different books about the world of the yokia he found himself going stir crazy. So to make his stay more enjoyable tsukune requested that the priest recover his motorcycle from the human world and much to his surprise it was given to him without argument.
"the ocean air really did a number on this." Tsukune groaned wiping down his bike inside the garage his hands were covered in oil and sweat rolled down his brow.
"Mr. Aono I've brought you something to drink." Came the familiar voice of his only other companion in the house. Tsukune turned and smiled at the woman who was wearing her usual simple white gown, her long blonde hair flowing down her back, and her sapphire eyes meeting his gentle chocolate brown.
"thank you miss Electra." He replied making her smile showing her fangs, but this did not phase tsukune after the time the two had spent playing chess and researching together he was able to look past that she was a vampire.
"i see your working on your steed again." She giggled as she sat on a clean stool and looked at him in his coveralls and boots that were given to him by the priest.
"yep, she's running great and I want to keep it that way." Making her chuckle before composing herself.
"sorry its just my husband was the same way with his war horse. He'd always say, the time you put in your steed the better they serve you." She explains and Tsukune smiles wiping off his hands as he walked over to the glass of tomato juice and took a drink.
"a wise man, I hope ill get the chance to meet him." At this Electra smiled and touched a golden locket that hung around her neck. " I'm sure you will. He's impossible to miss."
Tsukune sighed and sat down looking at the garage door. The words of the headmaster buzzing in his head "ill be making all the arrangements for you, classes start in three weeks. You must stay here until then."
"hmm why not take her for a test run?" Electra suddenly asked making Tsukune go wide eyed as he looked at the vampress holding out the key for him.
"what about the headmaster?" asked tsukune with a smile.
"go ahead, ill cover for you." She finished with a whisper before giggling as she recovered the empty glass and left the garage leaving the young man alone with the key to his freedom.
It didn't take tsukune long to change into the only other set of cloths he had. One of the three basic school uniforms which consisted of a teal jacket, a white button up collared shirt, a bloodred tie and light brown pants.
"not exactly my style but better than going in the coveralls." Tsukune smirked as he fixed on his work gloves and slid on his helmet that was also brought with his bike from the human world.
With a press of a button the engine roared to life with a fierce growl, as if it were a beast awakening to serve its master. "let's go!"
The young rider burst out of the garage door and into large open driveway that was surrounded by a forest. Tsukune smiled the open terrain was exactly what his bike was built for. Leaning on the throttle he broke for the woods the wind flowing against him as he inhaled his first breath of freedom he had gotten in weeks.
The headmaster sighed looking out of his bedroom window seeing his adopted nephew flee. Turning to look at Electra he smiled "you gave him the key."
"he has his grandfathers spirit, if I hadn't he would have broke out on his own eventually." She confessed with a smile.
"yes he does. Your husbands blood runs strong within him." The headmaster said sitting down in his chair while looking across his desk at electra.
"my punishment for disobeying you?" she asks making him chuckle evilly.
"you think that I didn't want you to let him go? Electra you know me far better than that. Everything is proceeding exactly as I planned." The priest the waved the rosary of judgement triggering a hole of light to rip out of the ground and out crawled four little creatures.
"gremlins?" electra smiled the beasts looking at her marveling at her beauty as they spoke in there strange tongue.
"you know what to do. gentleman." The headmaster ordered the center gremlin who was the biggest and wore red face pain.
"yes, yes he, he the boy. Yes get the boy brothers. Get the boy." He chanted in broken Japanese as the tiny creatures ran out the door the sound of shattering glass echoing down the window.
"great, electra be a dear and ask the groundskeeper to fix that window. Before my wife returns." The headmaster sighs, he was use to the destructive nature of the gremlins.
"how is she by the way." Electra askes watching the headmasters white shining eyes glow red.
"very LATE."
Chatting with Massimo: the warrior class vampire yawns as he enters the room in nothing but his blood red tunic a small smile on his lips as he approached the throne. " sorry I'm late."
he chuckles as he pulls up his collar trying to hide the clear fang marks on both sides of his neck. This made the writer smile. "ohh shut up you perv... but thank you for bringing my wife here." he says as he looks at the chapter above before smiling. " wait does this mean we are finally going to yokia academy?" the warrior vampire asks as the writer nods again before closing the chat.
