A/N: Sorry for the delay in getting a new chapter of this up, or really any story since the last one was updated; as life has just been insanely busy!
So this chapter, as you will see again does take a significant time jump; and this time for Marley, and what is for that of her future and how that progresses also as well some other stories as well, with that of little spoilers in the interconnecting lot of this verse.

Chapter 19 –
When the Kapowski family heard that the daughter, Shelby had given birth to when she was still a teenager, had made contact with her; it was safe to say that the whole entire side of the collective Goolsby/Kapowski/Pinciotti family were just more than a little excited to meet the girl that over the years they had all wondered so much about.
Heading to her parents for the weekend in the middle of January 2021; and when Rachel, as they found out to be the name of the girl who Shelby had given up for adoption, was making the trip to South Carolina to meet her family. Marley walked down to the basement of her parent's house, where she had gotten the night before, along with Mike who also as well had come with her for the weekend.
"Are you sure you don't want to come to my aunts?" asked Marley, as she went and sat next to Mike on the sofa in the basement; where he was going over lesson plans on his computer for the upcoming weeks in his class.
"No, it's something I think you should just be doing with your family" said Mike, looking to her with a small smile.
"You know my parents, as well as my sisters and brother, and all the others" replied Marley with a small sigh and leaning her head to his shoulder. "Already all do think of you as family"
"I know that, yeah" sad Mike, with a small laugh and placing a kiss to the top of her head. "But this is something all of you have imagined happening for so long" he continued, as he looked to her. "And I don't want to be intruding on that moment"
"Okay" replied Marley, looking to him with a nod. "But you will promise, to meet her one day"
"Of course, yeah" said Mike, with a nod also. "That's if she is someone that your family continues to choose to talk with and all that" he continued, as Marley looked to him with a smile. "Then yes, I would love to meet her"
"I can't see my Aunt Shelby ever wanting not to" replied Marley, shaking her head. "She's dreamed so long of being contacted by her, that's it's not something she will ever want to lose now"
"Well, tell your new cousin" replied Mike, with a smile to her. "That I do one day look forward to meeting her"
I will" said Marley, with a smile also and looked to his laptop screen. "So what are you going to do whilst I and the rest of my family aren't here at the house?"
"Well I still have some marking to do from the assignment my class did the other day" he replied, as Marley looked to him with a nod. "And also as well, it's Valentines Day in a few weeks, so there is stuff to organize for my class there"
"If you find anything good, show me when I am back" said Marley, with a smile to him as Mike gave a nod and quickly kissed her.
"Sure thing, my soon to be Valentine" he replied and Marley laughed.
"You're so cheesy" she replied, as Mike nodded also with a laugh.
"I'm just kind of looking forward to spending it with someone this year" he replied, with a smile to her. "The last few years, I've done all these things in class and seen the kids hand out cards to one another; and not been able to have a Valentine myself" he continued, as Marley looked to him with a smile. "That I am really going to enjoy spending it with you this year"
"Me too, with you" said Marley, with a nod. "Ryder wasn't much into Valentine's Day, said why spend money to show how much you care about someone"
"Well just so you know I am going all out" replied Mike, with a smile to her; as they heard Kitty yell for Marley from upstairs. "I think the sister is calling for you"
"Hmm, and she and Artie are my ride to Aunt Shelby's" replied Marley, with a laugh. "See you when we're back"
"See you then" said Mike, with a nod. "Love you"
"Love you too" replied Marley, with a smile and quickly kissed him before standing up and, leaving Mike in that of the Kapowski home; went around to the Goolsby residence with the rest of her family to meet the cousin they had so long heard about.

With Artie, driving to that of the Goolsby residence; and Marley sitting in the back with Joshua, who was now 16 months old. Artie switched off the engine of his car as he came to a stop behind that of Mikki's car which was already in the driveway of their aunts house.
Going up to the front door, with Artie holding his son in his arms since Kitty was pregnant with their second child; she pressed the door bell to the side of the front door to alert the others they had arrived, and the door was opened by Dustin, and he looked to them with a smile.
"Hi guys, come on in" he said, as he stepped back from the door to allow them to walk inside. "Your mom and dad, sister and brother are already here"
"Yeah, we would have been here earlier if it wasn't for Kitty throwing up this morning" said Artie, with a small laugh and she turned to glare at her husband as Dustin closed the door.
"Oh and who's fault is that?" she asked, as Artie gave a small laugh. "Do you think I like throwing up?"
"Yeah, probably not" replied Artie, shaking his head, with a small smile to his wife as Marley and Dustin gave a laugh.
"I can grab you a glass of water if you think that might help, Kits" said Dustin, and Kitty looked to her uncle with a nod.
"That would be good" she replied, with a smile. "Thanks Uncle Dusty"
"Sure thing" he said, with a smile also. "Your aunt and everyone else are in the living room"
"So, is she nice?" asked Marley, as they started walking towards the living area and Dustin turned to her with a small nod.
"Yes, she seems to be very much so" he replied, as Marley nodded. "Of course it's only very early days and we have a lot to get to know about one another"
"Yeah, I just can't believe after all these years" said Kitty, with a small sigh. "That we're finally going to get to know her"
"Yes, and just forewarned your aunt in a little overwhelmed" said Dustin, with a smile to them.
"I can't imagine her not being" replied Artie, shaking his head and Dustin nodded.
"Head on in and I'll grab you some water Kits" he replied, with a smile to his niece.
"Thanks" she replied, as Dustin headed down the hallway to the kitchen and they walked to the living area of the home.
"Oh finally" said Midge, with a small laugh as she saw her two daughters, son in law and grandson come into the living room. "We were beginning to think that you'd not be making it here today"
"I was throwing up" replied Kitty, with a small sigh as she went and sat in one of the vacant arm chairs and Artie passed down Joshua to her before then sitting to the arm of the chair since there was not many left for him to sit on.
"Well, it's lovely you could have come and meet Rachel" said Shelby, and they looked to their aunt who had a young boy in her lap. "This handsome little guy is Ethan, my grandson"
"Grandson, wow" said Marley, with a small laugh and looked to Rachel, obviously knowing the one in the room that she had never seen before with them to be her.
"And Rachel" said Shelby, gesturing over to her. "These are my two other nieces Marley and Kitty, as well as Artie who is Kitty's husband and their little boy Josh"
"It's so lovely to meet you all" said Rachel, with a smile to them. "I so often wondered growing up if I had sisters or brothers. But never imagined that I would also have cousins as well"
"Nice to meet you also" said Kitty, with a smile to her. "We've heard about you over the years, so we've always wondered too"
"And what I want to know is why Puck is here" said Marley, looking to him with a small smile and laugh, and having recognized the man who she had known in California along with Mikki when they had both lived there. "Not who I thought we'd be seeing when Aunty Shelz contacted us about her daughter making contact with her"
"It's a really long story" he replied, with a laugh. "And one that we've just finished telling Mikki and the others"
"Hmm, so cliff notes version then" said Mikki, with a laugh also as Marley sat next to her older sister on the sofa and looked to her with a nod and then also Phoebe who Mikki had in her arms.
"Hi gorgeous girl" she said, placing her hand to her niece's leg; as Phoebe gurgled a happy sound as she looked to her aunt. "So, how is this possible" said Marley, looking over to Puck and then Rachel who gave her a small smile.
"I moved to San Francisco last year, after my fiancée died a few years before in New York where I use to live" replied Rachel, looking to Marley with a small smile.
"I'm so sorry" said Marley, looking to her as did Kitty and Artie, who also as yet had to hear how Rachel had come to find them.
"Thank you" replied Rachel, with a small smile to her. "I'm very blessed though that before Finn passed away, that we were able to have Ethan"
"Yeah, I can see Aunt Shelz" said Kitty, with a small laugh and looking over to her aunt. "Clearly doting on the fact that she has a grandchild"
"Yes" replied Rachel, with a nod and small laugh also and looking over to Shelby also. "I saw the job advertised for the role of the co host of a morning show in San Francisco, and felt it was time for a change so I applied for the role"
"And you got it" said Artie, and Rachel looked to him with a nod. "Not realizing that at one point, that your cousin had also done the job"
"Hmm, that was quite shock when I found out" replied Rachel, with a small laugh. "Noah had shown me, some of the clips from when Mikki had done the show when I first started working with him" she continued, as they looked to her. "And then when I did think maybe it was a good time to start looking for my birth parents, because I wanted to be able to answer questions Ethan may have if he were to ask when older. It was quite of a shock to discover that when I did find out who my birth mother was, that a lot of people in California, already knew some of my family"
"So Puck obviously filled you in a bit" said Marley, and Rachel looked to her with a nod as Dustin came into the living room and took a glass of water over to Kitty, who replied a small thank you, to her uncle.
"He did, yes" she replied, with a smile to her. "You were married to Ryder, who is Sam's little brother"
"I was, yeah" said Marley with a small nod, also, as Dustin went over to where Shelby was and like Artie had done perched himself on the arm of the chair that his wife was seated in. "I came back here a little over a year and half ago now when our divorce was finalized"
"Mikki was saying just before you got here that you're seeing someone else now" said Puck, and Marley looked over to him and gave a small nod.
"I am, yeah" she replied, with a small smile to him. "I did ask him to come along today, but he felt as if he might be intruding if he were, since we've only been dating around ten months"
"That's good though you've found someone else" said Rachel, with a nod and Marley looked to her with a small smile and nod also. "It's always hard to think you will find another person after death or divorce" she continued, as Marley gave another nod. "And Ryder too being now with Sarah, and expecting a baby soon. Things didn't work out so badly for either of you"
"A baby?" asked Marley, turning pale as the others looked to Rachel also in alarm, as Puck groaned softly and Rachel looked to him and the others that she has just that day met.
"Did I say something wrong?" she asked, looking to the bewildered stares of her birth mother and her husband, half sisters, aunt and uncle, cousins and others in the room; and as Mikki placed a hand to that of Marley's shoulder and whispered something to her younger sister.
"I'm guessing you weren't filled in on why Marley and Ryder got a divorce" said Midge, ad Rachel looked over to her aunt, shaking her head.
"I just assumed that the marriage didn't work out" replied Rachel, as she looked to them all still. "But guessing that isn't the reason"
"Ryder, didn't want children" said Marley, and Rachel looked to her, her eyes widening. "So to hear you say that he is having a baby with another woman; hurts"
"Umm, yeah I can imagine that would be a horrible thing to hear" said Rachel, with a small smile to her. "I'm sorry, I didn't know"
"It's fine" replied Marley, with a small smile to the woman of whom they had just met. "You weren't to know everything about us all yet, and things that have happened"
"Still doesn't mean that I'd not like to go over to California and kick Ryder's ass" said Roderick, who was seated on one of the dining room chairs, along side Olivia, on the chairs that had been bought into the living room so that there were enough seats for all that had come over to the home.
"Same here" said Sebastian, with a small nod and looking over to his brother in law. "And no offence Puck" he continued, looking to him. "I know he's obviously your friend and everything, but that's a really shitty thing to do as well. Tell Marls that he doesn't want children and then go and have one with another woman"
"Yeah, and in his sort of defence" said Puck, with a small nod. "I don't think it was something Ryder was ever expecting either" he continued, as the others in the room looked to him. "But he started dating Sarah who has a child from her previous marriage and sort of then realized that the whole kid thing wasn't that bad. And when Sarah happened to fall pregnant, he wasn't going to run on her but instead stick it out and be a dad, even though it wasn't something he ever thought he wanted"
"Well one can only hope that he doesn't realize a few years down the road, that it wasn't what he wanted" said Eric, as they looked to him. "Because that was my fear with Marley, and if she were to have had a child with Ryder and hearing then he didn't want that" he continued. "That he would leave her to be a single mom"
"I don't think that will happen" replied Puck, with a small laugh. "Sarah's family would see to him being very hurt if he was to ever do that" he continued as the others looked to her. "And I think Mikki would attest to having met Sarah's sister, Juanita; that the Scott family aren't to be messed with"
"Scott" said Marley, looking to Puck and he gave a nod. "Ryder's lawyer was a Wes Scott"
"Yeah" he replied with a small smile to her. "Sarah's older brother" he continued, as Marley gave a small nod and looked down to her niece, still in the arms of Mikki next to her. "But Ryder and Sarah met after that, they didn't know one another at the time of your divorce"
"No, I was speculating that or anything" replied Marley, looking to him and shaking her head. "Just a strange coincidence that's all"
"So, you have a new boyfriend?" asked Rachel, and Marley looked over to her; somewhat grateful of the change of topic.
"I do, yeah" she replied, with a nod. "Mike, and he is a teacher also at the same school I work at now"
"And you went to high school together also" said Midge, with a small laugh. "Let's not forget that either"
"Yes" replied Marley with a laugh also and looked to Rachel with a small smile. "However even though we sort of knew one another, we weren't in the same friendship groups" she continued, as Rachel nodded with that of a smile. "And when I started a new job here in Gaffney, that Brooke helped me to secure. We reconnected"
"Brooke, is a friend?" asked Rachel, and Marley nodded as Mikki as well as Sebastian gave a small laugh.
"Friend, and also somewhat big sister in a way" said Mikki. "She's married to Seb's brother Dylan, so is my sister in law; but also someone as well who is very close to that of everyone else here"
"I have so much to learn, and also by the sounds of it too" said Rachel, with a small laugh. "So many other people to meet and get to know as well"
"You do, yeah" replied Sami, with a smile to her half sister as Rachel looked to her with a nod. "And I want to hear more about you" she continued. "I'm dying to know what it was like growing up that close to New York city"
"Umm, yeah okay" replied Rachel, with a small laugh and smile to her younger half sister. "What do you want to know?" she asked; and then they continued to get to know Rachel, knowing that it wasn't going to be the last time they were ever going to see the girl that they had grown up wondering so much about, but as they sat and spoke with one another; Marley couldn't also help but feel sadness to know that Ryder had very clearly moved on from her and wondered if she would ever get the chance to have a child that she so very much dreamed about.

Arriving back at her parent's house, and whilst loving to finally meet and get to know her cousin who the family had often spoken of over the years; she could not however get out of her mind that Ryder was now with someone else, and had seemingly found more happiness with her that he had ever had with her and therefore decided that he did want to have children; something which for really had been the major breaking point in their marriage and signaled that of their divorce.
Heading down to the basement, where she presumed Mike to be still; she saw him sitting on the sofa, watching something on YouTube and laughing, and went and sat next to him.
"Hey" replied Mike, tapping the trackpad on his laptop to pause the video. "How was meeting the cousin?"
"Okay" replied Marley, with a small smile to him. "She was nice"
"Nice" said Mike, with a laugh. "I thought I'd get more than that"
"Yeah" replied Marley, with a small sigh; and Mike looked to her before shutting down his laptop and placing on the small coffee table in front of the sofa.
"Was she not what your family was expecting?" asked Mike, as he took one of her hands and Marley looked to him shaking her head, as she also too started to cry.
"Hey, what's wrong?" asked Mike, looking to his girlfriend and gently placing his hand to her cheek. "Why the tears?"
"Rachel, my cousin" she replied, with a small smile to him. "In some weird twist of fate is also a journalist and moved last year to San Francisco from New York; and is now the co host of the morning show that Mikki once was on"
"Oh, that is weird yeah" replied Mike, with a small nod as Marley too also nodded.
"And she obviously knew who I was because Noah Puckerman who worked with Mikki, was able to tell him small bits about us" she continued, as Mike gave a nod. "And she then said, when I said I was dating someone new; that Ryder was also and that he is having a baby with her"
"What?" asked Mike, looking to her shocked and with that of a small laugh of disbelief. "I thought that because he wasn't wanting children, that was a catalyst for your divorce"
"It was, yeah" replied Marley, looking to him with a small nod and crying a little more. "And it just makes me think he didn't want children with me, if he is now having one with someone else" she continued, as Mike looked to her. "That there is something so wrong with me that makes me seem unattractive to be a mother"
"No, there is nothing at all wrong with you" said Mike, moving closer to her and putting his arms around her; and Marley allowing herself to get comfortable in that of his embrace. "You will make an amazing mother one day"
"And maybe I won't, what if that is the world's way of saying I'm not going to have children" replied Marley, shaking her head. "Mikki and Seb have just had Phoebe and now have two, Kitty and Artie are pregnant again with another baby; and I'm sure too Kenzie and Cam will have a baby soon also, and probably also Roddy and Liv before me as well"
"It doesn't matter if they do" said Mike, shaking his head. "And you know what, Ryder is an idiot for not wanting that with you" he continued, looking to her with a small smile. "But it's his loss also, because it means I get to one day have beautiful, talented and amazing babies with you"
"You want that with me?" asked Marley, moving to look at him. "You don't find me repulsive and not worth having children with"
"Not at all" replied Mike shaking his head, and gently placing a small kiss to her forehead. "I love you, and want to one day have children with you"
"Promise?" asked Marley, and Mike looked to her with a smile and nodding his head.
"Definitely promise" he replied, as Marley nodded and then kissing him. "Your ex made a huge mistake" he continued, tucking some hair behind her ear. "And I hope too that you want to have children with me"
"I do, yeah" said Marley, with a nod; as they heard small sounding footsteps coming down the stairs and into the basement, and turned to look and saw Amelia entering the room. "Hey sweetheart" she said, wiping her eyes as her niece came over to the two of them over at the sofa. "Did you come to say hi to Mike?"
"Puz" she said, holding out the Rubik's Magic puzzle to them.
"Did Poppy give you that play to with?" asked Marley, with small laugh and looking to her niece as she climbed on to the sofa with her and Mike.
"Broke" said Amelia, pointing to the rings on it, that were not in circle like it should be, and Marley gave a laugh as did Mike.
"I don't know sweetie" replied Marley, with a small smile to her. "I could never do it, I was hopeless at it"
"Really?" asked Mike, with a laugh and Marley looked to him. "It was so simple"
"Oh, really" replied Marley, with a laugh also. "Well if it's simple, help out my niece then"
"Hmm, okay yeah" said Mike, with a smile and looked to Amelia. "Want me to fix for you?" he asked, and Amelia nodded as she held it out to him and Mike took the puzzle from her and turned it from the broken rings into three interconnecting rings.
"How did you?" asked Marley, looking to him with a laugh and Mike looked to her with a smile and shrug of his shoulders.
"I spent a lot of time as a kid playing with puzzles" he replied, with a laugh and looked to Amelia. "Want me to unjoin them now?" he asked and Amelia looked to him with a nod. "Okay, easy"
"Such a show off" said Marley, with a small laugh as Mike gave a laugh also and changed the puzzle from the joined rings layout to that of them once again being separated.
"Done, there" he said holding it out to Amelia, who once again took the puzzle and looked at it and turning it over and over then started changing the tiles and once again not having the rings as circles.
"I don't think she gets the whole concept of the puzzle" replied Marley, with a laugh and looking to her niece. "It's just pretty and colorful to her"
"I think so, yeah" replied Mike with a laugh also and looked to Amelia with a smile. "Want some help?" he asked, as Amelia shook her head and he and Marley both laughed; and continued to spend time downstairs with Amelia until she got bored with the puzzle game and then when it was time, headed up to have dinner with the others who were over for the evening.

With Valentine's Day falling on that of a Sunday, and both her and Mike having organized in their classes to do the Valentine part of the curriculum which all the children looked forward to on the Friday before. Marley was seated at her desk, going over the next part of her lesson plan for later in the day, when there was a knock at her classroom door; and she looked over to see two girls from one of the older classes on the outside, and gestured for them to come in.
Opening the door, and walking into the classroom; she could see that the young girls had a bunch of varying color roses.
"Hi Ms Kapowski" said one of the girls with a smile to her. "These are from Mr Weaver" she continued, as her class had looked up as the girls had entered the classroom and made a "Ohhh" noise as Marley took them from the girls.
"Thank you, girls" she said, with a smile to the two older ones. "Can you tell Mr Weaver, they're very lovely and also thank you too"
"Sure Ms Kapowski" replied the other girl had also come into the classroom. "Bye"
"Bye" replied Marley, with a nod as the girls left the classroom and she looked to the roses quickly and then up to her class of children. "Okay, back to work everyone"
"Mr Weaver, likes you" said one of the girls in the classroom as a few of the others in the room laughed as well. "He gave you lots of flowers"
"Yes, they're very lovely" she replied, with a small laugh and trying to stop the blush taking over her face. "And I'm sure it was just that of a friendly gesture from him" she continued, with a nod and small smile to her class. "Back to work, and finish what you're all doing and then in about twenty minutes it will be time for morning break" she finished saying as her class went back to the work that had been doing and she looked to the roses with a smile, and took from the middle of them the small little envelope that was nestled in amongst them bouquet and opened it.
Dearest Marley, I hope you're not too embarrassed right now, but you probably are, and have a gorgeous smile on your face as you're reading this note. I wanted to do something special for you on what is really that of our first Valentine's together, since last year we had only really started to be in a friendship with one another that is was just blossoming to a relationship, and therefore it be so very new for the both of us. The color of the roses, each symbolize an emotion and feeling, and convey what you mean to me, and I hope for a long time to come that you will be my Valentine.
Red, is obvious and for love. Yellow, for new beginnings and what I hope to have with you. White, is for your purity and how you so amazingly see the world and Coral, is for desire and how every time I see you, I feel so lucky to have been granted you in my life, and I hope we have many more Valentine's to come.

Knowing that she was blushing, as she read over the card from Mike; she looked to the flowers again with a smile and then placed the card safely into that of her desk drawer, before getting back to what she had been doing prior to the flower delivery and couldn't help but wonder too of many more Valentine's together with Mike as well, and a long happy future with him.

Sunday morning, having moved in with Mike over the recent Christmas break, and giving up the lease on the small apartment that she had rented after staying with Brooke and Dylan for a few months after she started working at the school where she had gained employment. Marley was lying still asleep in bed, not realizing that Mike had already woken up and headed into the kitchen to cook both her and himself, breakfast.
"Rise and shine my sleeping angel" said Mike, as he walked back into their bedroom and placed the tray of food to the end of the bed on his side, and carefully sitting on to the bed also. "I've got waffles, and bacon and orange juice"
"Hmm, yeah okay" replied Marley, with a small sigh. "I'll be out soon, just sleeping now"
"I can, see yeah" said Mike, with a small laugh and brushing hair that had cascaded over the pillow and over her face out of the way so that he was able to see her. "But, you know what you don't even have to move out of bed for breakfast, since I have bought in to here for us?"
"In here" said Marley, opening her eyes and rubbing her hand over her face to wake herself up more. "You bought me breakfast in bed?"
"I did, yeah" replied Mike, with a nod and smile, looking to her. "Figured you know it being Valentine's Day and all, I'd start the day off right"
"Yes, very right" replied Marley, with a nod and smile also. "No one has ever bought me breakfast in bed before"
"Well I'm glad to be the first to do that" he said, with a small laugh as Marley nodded and gently sat up and being careful as to not knock the tray.
"Ohhh, there are waffles" said Marley, when she saw them, and Mike nodded. "I thought you were just saying that to wake me up"
"Freshly made, this morning" he replied, as he placed the tray between the two of them. "Happy Valentine's, my angel"
"Yeah, Happy Valentine's" said Marley, with a smile and kissed him. "This is so sweet, thank you" she continued, with a nod. "I love it, and also you as well too"
"I love you also" replied Mike, with a smile to her as Marley looked to him with a smile and picked up a fork to break off a piece of waffle and along with the bacon she also grabbed as well, ran them both through the maple syrup on the side.
"Oh my god" said Marley, as she ate what she had just taken a mouthful of. "This is heaven"
"Glad to hear" replied Mike, with a laugh. "And also too, your Valentine present" he continued, picking up a small jewelry box that Marley had yet failed to notice that was on the tray between that of the two glasses of orange juice. "I hope you like it"
"Is it a necklace?" asked Marley, taking the long shaped box from him and Mike looked to her with a smile.
"Hmm, why don't you open it" said Mike, with a nod and Marley looked to him with a nod and placed down her fork and opened the box and gasped when she saw what was inside that instead of being a necklace box that it was a more fancier kind of box, and it was not a necklace but rather a ring.
"Mike, oh my god" she said, looking to him with a look of pure disbelief on her face.
"Surprise" he said, with a small laugh, as Marley looked to him with a small nod and also biting her lip somewhat nervously. "I was trying to think of all these perfect ways to ask you, and I realized that there is no perfect way to do it, because at the end of the day I still hope the answer you will give me will be the one that I hope you will say"
"Yeah" said Marley, with a small laugh. "I, just wow" she continued, looking to him with a smile. "Was not expecting this at all"
"I think that's what make it's so perfect then" replied Mike, with a smile to her and took the ring from the box that Marley still had a hold of, and then with his other hand took that of her left hand.
"Marley Rose Kapowski, I didn't ever imagine that we would meet again and that you would be the one person who I can't ever then dream of not being with" he continued, as Marley looked to him with a smile. "So, whilst this isn't probably that of the most romantic settings to ask you; for us I do however think it's somewhat perfect" he said, as Marley looked to him with a small nod. "Will you do me the greatest honor in life, and become my wife?"
"Yes, a million times yes" replied Marley, with a smile to him. "It would always be a yes, no matter how you asked me"
"Really?" asked Mike, as Marley looked to him with a nod. "Okay, yeah wow" continued Mike with a laugh, and slipping the ring on to her finger. "Now I'm the one that's in that of shock"
"Because I said yes?" asked Marley, and Mike nodded and she quickly kissed him. "I wouldn't have never said anything else" she continued, with a smile to him. "I'm too also so glad that we found each other, and this time really got to know one another"
"Yeah, I just can't believe this though" he said, with a small laugh. "We're engaged"
"We are, yeah" replied Marley, with a small laugh and nod also. "Now let's eat before this amazing breakfast gets cold" she continued, as Mike looked to her with a small nod and laugh also. "And then we can call our parents and let them know"
"I'm pretty sure your parents already know, or at least you Dad does" replied Mike, looking to her with a smile.
"You asked him?" asked Marley, as Mike gave a nod.
"I did, and he gave me his full blessing to ask you" he replied, as Marley smiled. "And I think for that he was quite happy to have me ask, since I get the feeling that your ex husband didn't ask him"
"No, he didn't" said Marley, shaking her head. "And if my Dad knows then most certainly my Mom would as well"
"I'm going to say probably yes, she does" said Mike, with a smile to her. "However, my parents don't know yet, and also my sisters or your brother and sisters"
"We'll call them after, this" said Marley, with another mouthful of food and Mike looked to her with a laugh; and the two of them continued to eat breakfast together, now that of a newly engaged couple; other than just that of boyfriend and girlfriend.
End Note: Obviously it was pretty hard for Marley, to hear that Ryder had not only moved on but was also going to be having a baby with Sarah. The little spoilers, of Kitty and Artie being pregnant again, Mikki and Seb having had Phoebe and also as well Marley's cousin, hinting at do possibly being pregnant before her and also Rod and Olivia; whilst not the nicest realization for her to come to that.
Also as well sets the element of surprise she does get when Mike does ask her to marry him.
