Conrad's p.o.v continued
With the permission of both Nic and Dr. Bell, I returned to work after a two week vocation. My collegues and patients were happy to see me again. They gave me sympathy cards and gift bags in which I appreciated greatly. Among all my patients, a father and his biracial daughter who had cancer pulled at my heartstrings.
