Hey folks! Monokub here with another status update of my, well, status. As you can tell by this post alone, unless they perfected ghost-writing technology (which is still in development last i checked), I am still doing A-okay...ish. Many people have been messaging me and wondering if I'm alright, which I can safety say, I am. Health wise, at least.
To make a long story short, I've been busy with school. I've had final projects for a portfolio I needed done for the last several weeks, and just managed to finish them last week, which covers about half the problems I'm going through at the moment. The other problem is... I'm running low on savings X(. With money being tight as it is, i've been needing to manage what little I have and the stress of it alone is causing a mental block atm. I got enough to get by with the months ahead for awhile but it's still causing enough of a hassle on my end that it's eating up my attention X/ And until now, there wasn't any viable solution to my dilemma. With Covid everywhere and everything being affected by it, my family's too paranoid about me going out and looking for a job.
But, as I've said, there wasn't a way to figure out how to fix it until now, and that's where my announcement comes in- I've officially started a pa-treon account (have to space it or stupid fanfiction deletes the word X/)! The accounts to help take a bit of an edge off the current situation. I can't really describe the current situation in full (that's how bad it's gotten around here), but any bit of donation can help. And before you ask, you're probably wondering what the benefits are going to be, right? Well... I'll be writing!... That does not sound all too convincing or encouraging does it XP?
Well, with my mind slowly becoming numb, it's the best I can say I have, and honestly, the will help more than you think :P. With a , it'll help ease the stress on my shoulders a lot by covering for some of the bills. On top of that, with less stress weighing me down, i'll be able to get my head together, and be capable of writing again sooner than later. Heck, if this kicks off enough, it'll get me enough incentive to devote my full time to the writing, which would be awesome in my opinion, but it's not something that's 100% necessary XP.
Whether or not anyone s, I'll get back to my writing one way or another. For right now, with things as tight as they are, and I'm still nervous as I wait for my final grades to be posted (teachers taking for freaking EVER to get anything posted T_T), and the anxiety of it is driving me a little stir crazy. But I don't want anyone to think this is the only way I come back to my writing- one way or another, I promise to be writing again within the next few months, this is just a means to help ease the bills a little bit. And who knows, if someone donates enough, I might even do oneshots or bonus chapters of Cat-Ra with a story idea they want to see for an "episode" :P.
But again, it's not mandatory. i promise I'll be back to writing in the future, and I'm currently okay health-wise, so nobody needs to worry about that X) And thanks to all the fans out there that have been wondering how i'm doing.
