Event: Matthew's Actual Birth and Jaundice

I experienced very painful and strong contractions at home. Gus took me to the hospital out of fear and assuming my water had broken. My placenta, not my bag of water, had ruptured. An emergency caesarean section saved my life and Matthew's life. Matthew and I were kept in the hospital for further observation and tests. The doctor diagnosed Mattthew with Jaundice. Gus remained in constant contact with me via in person or phonecalls.
