I just want to stay im extremely sorry for leaving this story for so long. I don't really have a good excuse but I really want to finish it. Much love and enjoy!

I opened my eyes and I could see nothing but darkness. I blinked a few more time and still could see nothing but the darkness that surrounded me, I could feel the rough cloth tied around my upper face. I was lying down, face first. I could feel my hands being restrained behind my back. I swung my legs and body around to see if I could feel anything around me but felt nothing but walls surrounding me. I lifted my head and "clang" the back of my head slammed into something metal.
"Fuck" I managed mumble in my groggy state. My head was throbbing.
I used my legs to kick around and realize I'm trapped in a extremely enclosed place. I lie still for a moment trying to regain my composure, my body was starting to go into complete panic mode, and I needed to calm down. As I lay facedown and unable to move I felt the sensation that I was moving and then it hit me… I was in a trunk. In my line of work no good can ever come from being in this position.
"Oh no" I say to myself. The car was moving along at an alarming rate.
I don't know if they gave me drugs or if it was just the after effects of the chloroform but I begin to feel extremely dizzy, I knew I was about to lose consciousness. Then my mind drifted to Sara, where the hell was she. I feared the worst for her, I couldn't imagine what those two psychopaths could be doing to her at this exact moment.
"Sara" Her name escaped my lips just before I slipped back into the darkness of
unconsciousness.

Captain Brass walked into the secluded cabin and scanned the room to discover the debris of the unsettling chaos that occurred earlier in the shift. The police department has been notified that dispatch was getting no response from the officers at the crime scene and that no one in the lab could get in touch with Grissom or Sara. Brass was followed by a unit of officers as backup when he headed out to the crime scene. What they came across made their stomachs turn. Both of the rookie cops that had secured the original scene had their necks slashed, they never even saw the danger coming. It was quick and extremely messy. As Brass was waiting for assistance from the CSI Team he couldn't help but notice the small pools of blood that were still on the floor. They looked fairly fresh. He just hoped that none of the blood belonged to the people he cared about.
Catherine entered the house not quite knowing what to expect. She had heard a call over her radio about a possible CSI abduction and officers down. "What the hell happened here, Jim?" was all Catherine Willows could manage to say. Brass who hadn't noticed her presence yet was snapped out of his chilling thoughts.
"I'm not sure yet Cath, I was hoping you could help put it into perspective...but..there is no sign of Grissom or Sara." He said blankly, almost like he didn't believe what was unfolding in front of him. "Have the cops secured the entire property?" Catherine asked meekly still trying to process the serious situation at hand. "Yeah, uniforms combed the whole area, I've got two dead rookies and two missing criminologist". He replied. As Catherine walked further into the living area her eyes became fixated on the kitchen counter, she walked hesitantly towards it. She gasped at what she had discover. "What is it?" Brass asked not sure he wanted to know the answer as he walked up behind her to see what she had discovered. There on the large butcher block island lay two all to familiar CSI identification badges. One with a picture of a gap toothed brunette and the other a photo of a salt and peppered entomologist. Both of the badges were covered in blood. Along side the ID badges were two identical cell phones which both Catherine and Brass knew where department issued. Everything had been placed so neatly on the counter along with something Catherine didn't recognize. A minela envelope was centered between the cellphones and both badges. It had no writing or blood stains on the front and seemed particularly clean considering the amount of blood smears that covered the floor. "What is that?" Brass asked quizzically. Not really expecting an answer Catherine reached
into her evidence kit and pulled out a pair of latex gloves so she could investigate further, she picked up the large envelope slowly and carefully. She took a large breathe before she began to open it. "I guess we are about to find out." Was all all she could say as her teary eyes met with the detectives. They both knew this would be a long night.
