Natsu's mouth hung wide open as he stared at his counterpart. Edo Natsu had his arms above his head as if wanting to protect himself. With tears in his eyes, he hesitantly looked up at Natsu with a quivering bottom lip. Natsu backed up quickly and watched as Edo Natsu slid back until his back hit his car.

"Are you okay?" Lucy asked. She went to touch his shoulder, but he flinched away. By now, Lucy was getting slightly irritated with his cowardly behavior.

"I'm so sorry, Lucy. Don't hurt me!" He squeaked out as he hid behind his car. Lucy turned to Natsu with a small snicker.

"And you thought my counterpart was looney," she muttered, so that his counterpart couldn't hear. Natsu hummed in annoyance and rolled his eyes. She turned back to Edo Natsu and smiled gently at him. "I'm not going to hurt you. I promise."

"Y-You won't?" He whispered, a small smile set on his face. He snuck out behind his car and laid back on his car. "I'm sorry about that, it's just that by now, my Lucy would be practicing one of her forty eight torture techniques on me. But you seem like you're really nice." He said with a small blush painted on his face.

"I don't get it," Natsu said suddenly. "How were you so cool in that car but now you're like...well this!" Natsu said as he crossed his arms. Lucy gaped and smacked his arm. "Ow! What was that for?"

"That's such a rude thing to say. Especially to yourself!" Lucy growled.

"That's okay, I'm used to it," Edo Natsu stated. He looked down at the ground with a sad smile. "Everyone always says I have another personality when I'm in my car."

"Well, If this is how you are outside of it, I'd rather not have a blubbering coward along with us." Charle huffed. Wendy gasped.

"Don't say things like that!" Wendy scolded. She bowed in front of Edo Natsu. "I'm so sorry about her behavior."

Edo Natsu smiled up at Wendy. "So you're Wendy-san from Earthland? Wow, you're a lot nicer and cuter." He chuckled lightly. Lucy put her hands on her hips and smiled fondly at Edo Natsu. She took back what she said about him being a jerk. Hell, he was nicer than her Natsu. Edo Natsu noticed her staring and blushed brightly.

Lucy tilted her head to the side in confusion. Why was he so flustered? Wendy voiced her thoughts. "Why is your face so red, Edo Natsu? Are you sick?" She asked meekly. Edo Natsu blushed deeper and turned away from Lucy and Wendy.

"It-It's nothing really. You just look so much like my Lucy. But you smile instead of scowl, so I guess I just got nervous." He muttered, clearly embarrassed. Natsu blew a raspberry in irritation. Was his counterpart this hopeless? Though Lucy didn't have the same thought. She blushed lightly.

"That's sorta sweet." Lucy giggled. Natsu narrowed his eyes in annoyance and looked away from the two.

"Anyway, how far are we from the kingdom?" Natsu asked. Edo Natsu stood up and pointed beyond the hill they were set on.

"The castle is down there. My Lucy told me to take you this far and so I did."

Natsu peered down the hill and grinned. "Why didn't you just say so?" Natsu smiled to him. Everyone began to head towards the castle when Natsu heard Edo Natsu's voice.

"Are you really going to try and beat them?" He asked meekly. Natsu turned around and smiled at him, giving him a thumbs up.

"Well, if that's what it takes to get our friends back. Then yes." Natsu told him. Edo Natsu watched with worry as his counterpart disappeared over the hill. Edo Natsu stood up nervously and opened his car door, glancing back one more time before hopping inside his car. And just like that, he lost interest in their group and drive off.

It was night by the time they finally made it towards the castle. But Charle had told them they needed a plan of action before charging into the castle and taking on the king. So they settled themselves into another hotel and thought of some game plans. Natsu crossed his arms as he looked out the window. Waiting was making him irritated.

"Let's just storm them! They won't see it coming!"

"Natsu no, we have to do this right." Lucy stated once again. He grumbled and paced around the room. Charle hummed in annoyance before glaring at the restless dragon slayer.

"Would you knock off that distracting pacing! And besides, I came up with a plan," Charle sighed. Wendy smiled and peered over Charle to see what she was working on. Charle held up a piece of paper and showed the others. "We're going to go through a hidden passage that leads to the castle. That way we can sneak in undetected."

"How did you you know there was a hidden passage way?" Happy asked as he studied the map.

"I've been getting memories of Edolas peice by peice. So I just know there's one," She said simply. Rolling up the map, she handed it to Lucy. "We should head out now." Everyone nodded and left the hotel. They came across the outskirts of the city, Lucy leading the way. She pointed to a man made cave and smiled.

"There it is!" Eveyone ran to the cave and looked inside. "I can barely see a thing..." Lucy muttered. Natsu grinned.

"I can fix that!" He stuck out his hand and gave everyone a huge smile. Though nothing happened. Charle rolled her eyes.

"Have you forgotten we can't use magic." She scoffed. Natsu, visibly distraught, pouted and crossed his arms. Lucy shook her head and lit her own hand up with her celestial magic.

"And have you all forgotten I can still use my magic. Come on, my celestial magic can light up a room brighter than anything can." She laughed as she went inside what looked to be a mineshaft. Natsu scoffed and followed after her. They only had to stop when they came across a dead end. Part of the mineshaft had been boarded up and they couldn't get any farther.

"Now what do we do?" Wendy asked with a worried frown. Lucy smirked confidently and grabbed a key from her pouch. She held it up triumphantly.

"Taurus can break through practically anything. Just you watch," she held the key out in front of her. "Open, gate of the golden bull! Taurus!" Out came the perverted bull. He commented on Lucy's body briefly, before focusing on the task at hand. He swung his axe at the wood and broke It almost too easily. Lucy pat the giant bull's back before having him go back to the spirit world.

"Good job, Lucy-san!" Wendy smiled. Everyone walked in the suspiciously lit cave. Charle narrowed her eyes and looked above them.

"Here we are, the castle should be right above us." Charle stated. They all searched around for an entrance to sneak in. But they were cut off short. Guards from all over surrounded them, throwing this white substance over them. Natsu gasped as the sticky glop wrapped around his mouth.

"What's going on Charle!?" Wendy cried. Her whole middle was wrapped securely. Charle backed up with wide eyes. She clutched her head and looked down at the ground.

"I-I don't know..." Charle whispered weakly. Standing in front of the guards was a red headed woman. Lucy gasped at who it was. It was Erza! But how could Edo Erza be their enemy!? Edo Erza stood in front of Charle, Happy, and Marie. She got down on one knee and bowed. Marie's eyes widened, tears streaming down her face.

"Thank you exceeds, you have brought us the enemies."

"No...this can't be..."

"You have completed your mission." Edo Erza smiled. Wendy gaped as tears rolled down her face. Lucy's gaze hardened as she struggled against whatever was around her. She looked down desperately at Marie. The exceed stared back at her in pure shock.

Then just like that, all three mages were taken away. Natsu and Wendy were thrown in a jail cell. They watched as Lucy was taken somewhere else. Natsu gripped the bars tightly, so hard his knuckles turned white. He glared into a man's eyes. Natsu had a feeling he wouldn't be seeing the last of him.

"Where are you taking Lucy!?" Natsu growled. The man twirled some wand like thing through his fingers and smirked.

"She was taken to another jail cell. She's of no use to us. So, we're going to kill her."

"She's a dragon slayer too!" Wendy stated desperately

"Yes, but we found she also has another type of magic stored in her. Celestial spirit magic. If we extract that as well as her dragon slaying magic, it could mess up this whole operation. It would just be easier if she was gone." The man laughed. Another man beside him chuckled.

"If even one hair on her head is out of place, I'll burn you to ashes!" Natsu warned dangerously as he pressed his head against the bars in pure fury. Denting the bars, steam rose from his forehead from the rough friction. But the other man wasn't fazed. He laughed and leaned forward.

"I'd like to see you try..." He walked away, further angering Natsu.

"Get back here you asshole!" Natsu sputtered. He huffed and leaned back, his bottom hitting the concrete with a thud. Though he talked big, he really didn't know what he could possibly do to save her. He had no magic. Turning to Wendy, his eyes softened when tears filled her eyes. He scooted closer to her.

"I-I'm just so confused. Why would Charle do that? I thought she was my friend!" Wendy sobbed. Natsu's gaze was trained on the cell bars when he spoke.

"She is your friend, don't forget that. There has to be some type of misunderstanding. I know that Happy, Charle, and Marie wouldn't do that to us," Natsu looked back at her with a small smile. "So I'm going to trust them as their friend. So for now, let's worry about how to get out of here and save Lucy." Wendy sniffled and nodded, the tears starting to dry. He gave her a grin and pat her head affectionately.

That's when they heard footsteps. Behind the bars, there was a small man with a couple guards behind him. He stared down at the two and gave them a creepy grin. Natsu stood up and put his body in front of Wendy.

"Get them." He told the guards. Natsu watched as the guards used a key to open up the cell bars. Natsu narrowed his eyes and charged at the guards, slamming one in the face. Just as he was going to tell Wendy to run, the same sticky substance from before wrapped around his arms. Natsu fell to his knees and grunted in pain. The other guard grabbed Wendy roughly and began to drag both of them out.

"What are you going to do to us?" Wendy cried out. The small man, his name was Byro, turned to them with a smirk.

"I'm going to extract your powers for our cannon so we can blast the giant Lacrima and bring magic energy back to this world." He explained. Natsu gasped and struggled against the white goo. He yelled out in frustration when nothing was happening.

"Dammit let us go! You'll never get away with this! I'll figure out a way to kick your ass!" Natsu sputtered. Wendy watched him with pain filled eyes. It was hopeless, she realized. They were never going to see their friends again. She was never going to see Charle again.

Byro had the guards escorting Natsu and Wendy lift them up on a stone. They pinned them down as Byro brought out a machine and placed it between them. He first aimed it at Wendy. Natsu's eyes widened when he began to see magic seep from Wendy's body and go into the machine. And it was obvious it hurt, Wendy screamed so loud he thought his eardrums were going to bleed.

Natsu pulled against the iron restraints.

What was he going to do!?
