A/N: Anything in parenthesis after foreign words is just the translation so that you guys don't have to do it yourselves. Thought I'd make it easy on you. This chapter will have a bit of Japanese in it since it makes since that Kai and Zane will take advantage of the fact that their captors most definitely won't know it.

Chapter Fifteen: Let's just sit here and Time the Others, shall we?

Zane cracked his one eye open slowly, to find that he was lying on his side in some sort of warehouse, his hands tied behind his back. Kai was curled into a tight ball nearby, hands tied behind his back, a soft snore signaling that he was still out of it. Straightening himself upright, Zane extended a leg outwards, kicking Kai in the side. "Kai! Ani o okoshite! Watashitachi wa torae raremashita... Futatabi. (Kai! Wake up my brother! We have been captured...again.)"

Kai groaned, before obediently rolling over, eyes snapping open as he began to examine their surroundings. Kai gave his head a slight shake, even as his voice dripped with sarcasm. "Kore wa tanoshīdarou... Dare mo itte imasen. (This is going to be fun...said no one.)"

Zane rolled his eyes, but didn't say anything about the sarcasm. Shifting ever so slightly, he tried to see if he couldn't loosen his bonds. "Obiwan ni memo o nokoshimashita. Kare wa farukon no tsuiseki nōryoku o kassei-ka dekiru hazudesu. (I left a note for Obi-wan. He should be able to activate Falcon's tracking abilities.)"

"Yoi. Sō sureba, kare wa sugu ni zōen to tomoni arawareru koto o kitai dekimasu. (Good. Then we can expect him to show up with reinforcements soon.)" Kai grunted out, squirming his way over so that his hands were pressed against Zane's. "Minisō o tsukatte rōpu o kiriotoshimasu. Sore wa sorera o hodokou to suru yori mo hayaideshou. (Use your mini saw to slice the ropes off. That'll be faster than trying to untie them.)"

Zane gave a slight nod, mentally accessing his miniature saw. "Anata ga tadashīdesu. Ugokanaide... (You are right. Hold still...)" A second later, a soft whirring sound filled the air as the metal saw popped out of Zane's wrist, making quick work of their ropes.

Kai quickly moved his hands so that they were in front of him, rubbing his wrists. "Dewa, naze konkai wa yūkai sa reta to omoimasu ka? (So...why do you think we've been kidnapped this time?)"

Zane stood up slowly, moving away from where he had been stashed. "Watashi no utagai wa, gozonji no tōri, shikkususensu ni ōkiku motodzuite imasuga, watashitachiha kakkō no nakama ga anata o torimodosu tame ni yatotta bauntihantā o atsukatte iru to iu kotodesu. (My suspicions, which as you should know is based heavily on my sixth sense, is that we are dealing with bounty hunters that cuckoo fellow hired to reclaim you.)"

"Naze karera wa anata o tsurete itta nodesu ka? Karera wa anata no saikō no shefu ga kono basho no doko kadearu to kikimashita ka? (Why did they take you then? Did they hear that your the best chef this side of anywhere?)" Kai joked slightly, his brow furrowing being the only outward sign that he was worried.

Zane glanced up at an air vent, a blue glow shooting out of his eyes. A minute later, the blue glow vanished as he turned to face Kai. "Kono tsūki kō wa saishūtekini gaikai ni tsūjimasu. Hitsuyōniōjite, dasshutsu ni shiyō dekimasu. (This air vent eventually leads to the outside world. We can use it to escape if you like.)"

Kai rolled his eyes skyward at that, turning to face the closed, and supposedly locked, doors. "Karera wa sore o kitai surudeshou. Doa wa rokku sa rete imasu ka? (They'll be expecting that. Are the doors locked at all?)"

Zane walked over, pressing a hand against the cool metal. Unfortunately that was when the door swished open to reveal a very shocked bounty hunter. "How did you two get out of your bonds!?"

Kai snorted at that, turning to face Zane. "Kimi ga nindoroidoda to ittara ī no ka? (Should we tell him that you're a nindroid?)"

Zane fought the urge to laugh at that, his eyes sparking with mirth as he glanced at Kai. "Īe... Sore wa watashitachi no riten o dainashi ni surudeshou. (No...that would ruin our advantage.)" Zane paused, tilting his head slightly to the side. "Sore dakedenaku, nandomonandomo kare o iradata seru koto wa totemo tanoshīdeshou. (Besides that...it will be great fun frustrating him over and over again.)"

Kai didn't even bother trying to not laugh at that. "Anata ga tsurara o dō omou ka daisukidesude wa, kondo wa, shūjin o dono teido jūjun'na nodeshou ka. (Love how you think icicle. Now then... how obedient of prisoners should we be this time around?)"

Zane thoughtfully tapped his chin, staring at the bewildered bounty hunter in front of them. Finally, he decided that messing with the poor fellow probably wouldn't do them any favors in later attempts to take them. "We best sit back down Kai... I am sure that we will be rescued soon anyways."

Kai sighed at that, before slipping back to where a crate was sitting. Plopping down on it, he began whistling Don't Worry Be Happy. Zane calmly settled down and started to meditate, figuring he could be more useful if he tracked where Falcon was at compared to them.

"Halt in the name of the Republic you are under arrest!" The bounty hunter just about went flying across the room as Anakin barged into the room, crashing into the unsuspecting bounty hunter.

"Zane...you could have told me that they were that close to us." Kai stopped whistling to stare at them as if he really wasn't expecting them to show up so soon.

Cody hurried over to where Kai was sitting, Kix on his heels. "Are you alright?"

"Would I have been whistling Don't Worry Be Happy if we weren't okay?" Kai responded rather sharply.

"What's that?" Ahsoka blinked rapidly, confusion creasing her brow.

Zane calmly stood back up, tucking his hands into his sleeves. "Don't Worry Be Happy is a song by Bobby McFerrin. As the title indicates, it is about being happy about one's sitation and not worrying too much."

"Who cut your ropes?" Rex lifted up the sliced ropes, confusion flooding his voice.

"That was me." Zane calmly stated, as if it was normal for him to be able to cut himself free when being held prisoner.
