One year later and the next chapter is out. I will finish this story eventually I promise, most of my major time constraints have been lifted now. I won't say much, just a thank you to those are who still reading this. I apologize again for the extended delays.
Chris stood on the sandy beach of the island, next to a couple of rocks. Next to him, a beach chair was laid out. "Last time, On Total Drama Brain vs Brawn vs Beauty!" he began the grinned his signature grin.
"The campers took to the woods, in a simple sleep under the stars challenge." he laughed slightly. "Or so they thought! They were stalked by some creepy dudes before being chased about in horrific fashion." as Chris explained what happened, shots of the episode played out. First, with the red-tinted vision eyeing the racoon at the Brawn campsite, followed by Chef attempting to scare the Brains team only to be captured, and then Izzy in her mask catching Fern.
"Even though The Rejects got mixed up, thank you, Izzy." Chris spoke with grit in his voice. "They still managed to come in second-last, just barely beating out the so-called good lookers." Owen was shown entering the mess hall, winning for his team.
Chris moved over and laid down in the chair, grabbing a drink. "Can the Rejects avoid another loss? Will they make it far? Am I being too harsh towards a team mostly described by name? Find out in this exciting episode of, Total Drama Brain vs Brawn vs Beauty!" he sipped from the drink as the intro began.
(Intro)
The scene opened outside the two main cabins still early in the morning, before the sun came up. The camera zoomed into the girls' cabin before switching to a view inside, showing a dim blue light dancing around its surroundings.
A bit of giggling was heard and Cynthia blinked awake. She looked around for the source of the sound and light to see Sarah tapping away on her phone. "Sarah?" Cynthia spoke.
Sarah quickly turned the phone's screen off and hid it beneath her sheets. "I'm not doing anything!" she said a bit too loudly.
Cynthia put a finger to her lips to remind her to be quiet. "Was that your phone?" she asked.
"No, it's nothing." Sarah denied, this time quieter.
Cynthia sat in awkward silence for a few seconds. "You don't need to lie to me, I can keep a secret."
Sarah let out a held breath. "Fine, it is." she showed her teammate her phone. "I just really can't live without it."
"How'd you get it? If you don't mind me asking."
Sarah looked hesitant to admit. "I took it from the mess hall the other day. It was just sitting in the back."
Cynthia nodded. "Okay, but I'd be careful. If Chris finds out, you can be disqualified." she warned her.
Sarah nodded. "Yeah, I know. But don't worry! I just won't use it during challenges so he'll never find out!"
"Could you two shut up?" they heard Camila mumble out, more asleep than awake.
Cynthia blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry." she muttered before trying to go back to sleep.
She noticed after a few minutes of silence, the bright light turned back on.
The camera panned over towards Mariana who opened her eyes, revealing she'd had listened to the whole ordeal.

Sarah - "Okay, all I need to do, is make sure Chris never sees me use my phone! Then, he won't know I took it back." she explained her plan. "I really need this. I got to be extra careful."
Mariana - "Interesting. That could be good leverage to use against her."

The scene returned a few hours later as the campers gathered inside the mess hall for breakfast. Chef was back at his usual position behind the counter. Ozzy walked up and received a plate of black toast and yellow mush. "Thank you, Chef!" he saluted the large man. "Looks horrid as always!" he left with a spring in his step.
After him, was Melanie. Chef glared at her and picked up a piece of black toast. Instead of giving it to her, he licked it and then rubbed it against the counter to pick up any dirt and crumbs. Continuing his glare, he stuck it on her plate.
"Gee, thanks." she winced at the sight.
She moved over and joined her team at a table. "Anyone else received Chef's breakfast special?" She asked them.
"If you mean extra dirt and slime then yes." Yoshi picked at his food.
"Is this because we left him hanging? Literally?" Liam mused
Most likely." Yoshi nodded. "Let's just hope he doesn't hold that grudge for long." he forked a ball of what looked like hair off his plate. "We won't survive with this crap."
The camera panned over to join the beauty team. Sarah and Cynthia shared a look and Rellik noticed. "Something going on?" he asked the two.
Sarah shook her head quickly. "No!"
Rellik didn't look to believe her. "Okay, but if there is something wrong you can tell me. We should have better communication to avoid another loss." he was met with nods from the two girls. "Fern, do you agree?"
"Hmm? Oh, yes." she agreed.
"Do you have any idea what I just said?" Rellik sighed.
"Sorry, no." she admitted. "I was lost in thought. I was wondering what new natural colours I could add to my paintings."

Over at the Brawn table, Kazu was glancing over towards the Brain's side, specifically, his brother. "Did you see what they got? Food-wise, I mean." he asked his own team.
"The same garbage we got?" Ryan asked sarcastically.
"No, well, sort of. Apparently, they left Chef hanging in a tree all night so the dude is super pissed at them. When Yoshi and I went up to grab something, he handed my brother a tray of dirt and rags."
"Really?" Ryan snorted. "That's actually pretty funny."
"It wouldn't be if you were eating it." Kazu told her.
"Yeah, but I'm not. The smarter-than-thou gang is. Better them than us."
"The strongest threat deserves a disadvantage." Carter agreed. "Unless you are still concerned about your brother winning rather than your team?"
Kazu sighed. "Look, we've been over this, let's just drop it. Forget I said anything."
Laurie sat awkwardly as the silent tension began to rise.

As the four teams continued their breakfast, it wasn't long until Owen burst into the mess hall. "Alright! Breakfast!" he cheered out as he ran towards the counter. Chef slapped the same mush on his tray that most of the others got.
He sat down with his team causing the bench they sat on to creak in stress. "So, how's everyone today?" he asked before quickly stuffing his face.
"Amazing!" Ozzy nodded enthusiastically. "Well, maybe not amazing-amazing. Is there a word for somewhat amazing? Fantastic? Is that more or less amazing?"
"That's good!" Owen said with a mouth full of food. As he spoke, droplets of spit and chewed mush landed on the table.
Kathy gagged and stuck out her tongue. "Ew, I'm going for a run." she stated before leaving the table.
"Oh come on, sit and eat with us as a team!" Ozzy called out to her.
"No thanks, I'm good."
"May I repeat: Come on! Can't we all do something together as a team?"
Kathy thought for a second. "Well, there is something you can help me with." she said with a wild smile.
A quick flash outside showed her standing on top of the mess hall. "Behold!" she shouted out to the others below her. A small crowd of the campers had formed watching her antics. "Watch me do a triple backflip and land safely on the mattress below!"
Below, Ozzy dragged said mattress into position and gave a thumbs up. "She's going to break something." Melanie whispered over to Camila. The other girl nodded in agreement.
Kathy turned around so her back faced the crowd. She then jumped in the air, giving herself backwards momentum. She was about halfway through her first backflip when the lack of planning failed her. Her head smashed into the roof of the mess hall and she finished the fall spinning until she landed face-first into the mattress.
The others winced at her pain. It took her a few seconds to peel her face from the dirty mattress. She shook her head wildly with a smile on her face. "That hurt a lot." she claimed. "But I can do it! Just help me back on the roof!"
"Maybe we should call it quits there." Therion told her. "You are already risking a concussion."
"Yeah, you hit your head pretty hard." Cynthia added in agreement.
Kathy scoffed. "Who cares? It's just a little pain. Nothing I haven't dealt with before! Let me go again!"
"I'm afraid we don't have time for that." Chris approached the scene.
"Aw, come on!" Kathy whined.
"If you are all done with your fun and games, it's challenge time!" Chris announced. He noticed the group didn't have everyone in it. "Looks like we are missing a few." he pulled out an air horn. "This should get their attention." He rang it out causing the crowd to hold their ears in pain. "Follow me everyone!" he shouted over the blast as he began to walk away, still ringing the horn.
After some time, everyone was ready to hear the rules of the challenge. "Before we begin may I ask how everyone is enjoying their captains?" Chris questioned the group.
"Owen is doing great!" Ozzy was the first to speak up. "A perfect ten out of ten!"
"Can't say the same for Justin." Rellik pointed to the model who frowned in response.
Chris nodded. "After this challenge, you will be able to, dude! This special challenge will help your captains bond with you all, individually. To strengthen that friendship between leader and underling."
Chris revealed a small contraption beside him covered in cloth. He pulled off the cloth revealing what appeared to be a game wheel, with eight sections. Each section was marked with a team symbol with two sections for each team in total. "Our first step is to assign you your challenges!" Chris continued. "Each of you will participate in a solo challenge with only the help of your leader. Eight challenges total means you each get to do two." he held up fingers to elaborate.
"So, easy challenge today?" Sarah looked hopeful.
Chris laughed. "Some will be, others not. In the end, I hope that everyone learns a little thing or two about working as a team with their leaders. Or eat dirt trying."
Chef arrived holding two separate stacks of cards. "Each contestant will take two cards, one from each stack, to mark which order you will compete." Chris explained as Chef began handing them out. "Then, we can let the fun begin!"
Chris spun the wheel and it first landed on a Reject symbol. "First up is a classic. A simple game of charades."
"Oh, I love charades!" Sarah stepped forward waving her card with the number one on it.
"This could be fun." Liam stepped up as well. "And less painful than average."
Laurie and Kathy were next to join the two for the mini-challenge.
"One final thing before we begin." Chris pulled out a set of some sort of collars. "To discourage bad behaviour, electric shock collars will be worn during the challenges. Do something wrong and zap!"
"The amount of fun just decreased dramatically." Liam frowned.
"Hey, gotta make it more interesting somehow." Chris shrugged.
All of the contestants put on their collars while the team captains were given a note from Chris revealing their charade.
"You get shocked when you guess wrong, first team to finish gets four points, next three, then two, and finally one." Chris explained the scoring system. "And go!"
Scarlett started by holding up three fingers.
"Three words." Liam nodded.
Scarlett then held up two fingers and flashed them three times.
"Uh, two syllables a word?" he asked, she nodded.
Justin stood confused as he counted the words out on his fingers. He mimicked Scarlett and showed eight fingers.
"Okay." Sarah nodded. "Um, what is eight words long?"
Owen was quick to just begin to act out a scene. He pretended to grab a round object and hit himself off the head with it. He then spun around on one foot before falling over.
"Knocked out?" Kathy guessed, earning herself a shock. "Ow!" she winced. "Dead?" she guessed again, earning another.
Eva began by mimicking driving some sort of vehicle. Her hands were placed as if they were on a wheel.
"Steering wheel?" Laurie shrugged before getting shocked. "Is it a vehicle?"
Eva nodded.
"Car?" another shock. She hesitated but made another guess. "A bus?" she was electrified again.
Liam rubbed his Chin as Scarlett waved a finger in the air, pointed at various objects. "Okay, this isn't helping." he stated as she continued to tap her first finger and then wave it around and point at various things. "Um, something to do with the island?" he was shocked for his trouble. "The show?"
Scarlett nodded. She then began to mimic holding a camera and spinning a handle in circles.
"Okay, a movie?" he was shocked. "Wait, no! Three words, related to the show, is it Total Drama Action?" he guessed.
"Correct." Scarlett nodded.
"Bingo! First four points go to the smart team! I would suggest everyone else use their brains too if they want to win." Chris taunted.
Justin pointed at Chris before gesturing at himself with a smile.
"Uh," Sarah looked confused.
He did it again, this team emphasizing himself.
"Justin?" she shrugged, receiving a shock.
He shook his head and pointed at Chris once more.
"Chris?"
he held up two fingers and then a thumbs up.
"That's the second word?" she guessed.
He nodded.
"Yes!"
Owen was thinking of something else to act. He snapped his fingers and began to act wild. He pretended to scream in the air and raise a weapon above his head.
"Uh, insanity?" Kathy got shocked again. "Ow, quit it!" she shouted at Chris who just laughed.
Eva continued to mimic driving something as she got more and more frustrated.
"Plane?" bzzt! Laurie was shocked again. "I think my brain is being fried." she complained.
Eva looked to be losing her mind.
"Boat?" Laurie finally guessed, not earning herself a shock. "Hey, that was right! First-word boat!"
Eva took a deep breath and nodded.
Justin continued to point at himself with a smile.
"Chris, something you? Chris hates you?" Sarah was rewarded with another shock.
Owen tried something else, this time he pretended to eat something.
"Something you eat?" Kathy was extremely confused. "Banana?" bzzt! "Pizza?" bzzt! "Ice cream?" bzzt!
Owen pretending to peel a banana and then pinched his fingers together, so a small gap was between them.
"Pinching bananas?" bzzt!"
He shook his head and moved his hands together to show a small space between them.
"Wait, is it close to a banana?"
He nodded.
"Orange, blueberry, strawberry, watermelon." she continued listing fruits and each time she was met with volts pulsating through her body.
Owen then mimicked something round.
"Apple!" bzzt! "No, I said that already."
Eva opted to point towards the rejects for her next clue. She also began to fake cry.
"Um, cry babies?, Ow!" another shock. "Something to do with a boat, um... Battleship?" bzzt!
Justin thought for a few seconds before taking off his shirt. With his broad smile, he began to flex and pose.
"Wow, you're hot!" she claimed.

Justin nodded.
"Team Chris is really really really really really hot!" a small shock hit her. "Ow, hey! I thought I got it."
Justin held up 8 fingers.
Sarah looked confused and began to think about what she said, counting out on her own fingers. "Oh, Team Chris is really really really really hot!"
"Correctomundo!" Chris grinned. "A mighty fitting name, may I add. Favourite team name so far."
Kathy continued to name random round foods. "Blueberry, raspberry, coconut." she was shocked twice but nothing came after her final guess.
Owen began to nod quickly he then smiled and dotted his eyes and traced the smile.
" ?" she guessed.
"Yes!" Owen cheered. "Alright!"
Eva shouted out in frustration. "It was Boat of Losers, how'd you not get that?" she yelled at Laurie.
"Sorry." Laurie apologized, looking down.

Chris walked over. "The first challenge is finally over. How's everyone feeling? Really bonding yet?"
"I'm in pain." Kathy said before falling over.
"Constant electrical shocks will do that to you." Chris chuckled. "Well, Brawn made it out with one point while the Rejects were able to pull in two. Beauty gets three, and the Brains get four.
Four counters appeared at the bottom, one for each team. They all laid out the point totals that Chris had just mentioned.
"Now it's time for challenge numero two!" he walked over to the wheel and gave it a spun. It stopped on the Brawn challenge. "Looks like you have a chance to redeem yourselves." Chris gave a pointed look over at the Brawn team.
A flash led the contestants to a white line painted in the grass. "For this strength-based challenge, each contestant will piggyback their team captain in a race to the finish line! But watch your step! If you step in any of the marked red areas, you will be shocked continuously until you leave." he pointed forward along the path. Various patches of red paint covered the grass, making it harder than a simple run in a straight line. Other obstacles such as rocks and bushes also blocked some of the path. "The first team to finish gets the most points, last, gets the least. Are we all ready?"
Currently, it was Camila up with Scarlett, Kazu up with Eva, Rellik with Justin, and finally Therion with Owen. The final pair shared a look both fully aware that they weren't going to cross the starting line.
"Are we sure this is fair?" Therion asked.
"Never said it was." Chris shrugged. He pulled out an air horn. "Go!"
Kazu was the only one to quickly pass the starting line with Eva on his back. Therion was next to take off, struggling with Justin. Scarlett had reluctantly hopped onto Camila's back and the girl struggled to move forward. "This is degrading enough as it is, just hurry up." Scarlett commanded.
"Degrading? How do you think I feel." Camila spat back. "Besides, you aren't exactly a bag of feathers."
"I'm wiry, stop complaining and get running."
Camila began moving forward leaving only Therion and Owen.
"So-" Owen began.
"I'd rather not die trying." Therion crossed his arms.
Owen nodded. "Fair."
"Don't worry big guy, we'll have our shot later."
Kazu had taken an early lead but wasn't planning far ahead. He reached an area where the entire path in front of him was red and he would have to walk back and around to avoid it. Kazu looked up at Eva. "It won't be that bad, right?"
"What are you-" Eva raised her brow but before she could finish he ran straight into the red zone.
Instantly the collar went off and shocked him, in turn, shocking Eva as well. The sudden jolt was more surprising than anything, causing him to trip.
He fell forward and onto the ground, still being shocked by the collar. He stood up through the pain. "Come on, I got this." he managed to say through clenched teeth.
Rellik was getting tired fast. "How much longer." he breathed.
Justin tried to peer forward to see if he could see anything. "Don't know."
His foot stepped on a small patch of red and the two were electrocuted.
With a mixture of his tiredness, that was enough to bring him down.
Chris walked over to Therion and Owen. "You two going to start?"
Therion shrugged. "I'm good."
Chris frowned and hit a button, causing him to be shocked.
Camila continued to slowly walk forward, trying her best to pace herself but struggling to move. "God, you need to lose some weight."
"You need to gain some muscle." Scarlett retorted.
With the two bickering, they didn't even notice themselves pass Rellik on the ground.
Kazu continued to run, now finally out of the red zone. He was sweating and in pain. "I think I see the finish line." he smiled.
He continued running until he was met by Chef with a checkered flag. Once he crossed the line, Chef waved the flag.
"I did it!" he cheered, accidentally dropping Eva to the ground. She growled and kicked him in the leg, causing him to fall over too.
The airhorn was rung and Camila stopped. "Race is over, everyone to the finish!"
A flash carried everyone to the end of the race. "With both Rellik and Therion out of the race, Kazu takes first and Camila takes second!" Chris announced.
The scores updated at the bottom of the screen, showing Brains in the lead with seven, Brawn having only five, Beauty tied with five and Rejects with only three.
A close up of the wheel was shown spinning, landing on the Brain symbol.
A flash showed them all standing at the beginning of an obstacle course filled with mud. Rocks, tires, ropes, and traffic cones were randomly laid out around it.
"Another race." Chris stated. "But this time using your brain! Each contestant will be blindfolded while their captains shout directions at them through a headset. Touch any obstacle, and it's a zap!"
Melanie, Cynthia, Ryan, and Mariana all stood ready to go. They all had the mentioned blindfolds and headsets.
"Go!" Chris shouted.
All four of the contestants stood still, awaiting instructions from their captains.
"Take one step forward." Scarlett began her commands in the headset. Melanie looked confused but followed. "I expect every step from now to be the same length. You are to remain facing forward, do not turn. Begin with twenty-two steps forward."
"Ok, just keep walking forward." Owen told Mariana. She began to walk and quickly approached a tire in the mud. "Turn ever so slightly right and keep going." she did as told but didn't make enough of a turn. Her foot snagged on the tire, giving her a shock and causing her to trip in the mud.
"Walk forward until I say stop." Eva simply commanded.
"Take a step left." Justin said. "No, other left." he continued as Cynthia made the step in the wrong direction.
"My left?"
"No just, turn around."
Cynthia nodded and turned around. "Am I going now?"
"A little bit more to the left." he waved his hand in the direction even though she couldn't see.
Melanie kept following the orders from Scarlett. "Three steps forward, followed by two to the right."
Unknown to Melanie, or any of the other racers, they were approaching a small maze made up of knee-high planks of wood.
"Two steps forward, one left, four forward, three right, two back." Scarlett began to quickly give commands.
"Whoa, slow down!" Melanie requested. "I can only walk so fast."
Justin watched as Cynthia stepped onto a tire, causing her to yelp in pain from the shock that quickly followed. "Try walking around it." he suggested.
"I don't know what it is."
"Turn to your right and walk a couple steps that way, then turn back forward."
She nodded. "Okay." she turned right and stepped on another tire.
"Not that far right."

Ryan was still walking forward, preparing herself for a shock. "Do I turn yet, or what?"
"No, keep going forward." Eva told her.
"I'm bound to walk into something eventually and I ain't looking forward to it."
"Just walk through the pain."
Ryan grumbled something under her breath that sounded vaguely like: "Thanks, ass."
Mariana was now covered in mud and looking annoyed. "Take a few more steps to your left." Owen continued his instructions. "Then turn to your right and walk forward."
She remained quiet as she continued to listen. She was just about to take an extra step forward, onto a traffic cone when Owen shouted "Wait! Don't step forward! Turn first!"
She narrowly avoided the obstacle and Owen sighed in relief.
Scarlett had slowed her commands down, much to her own annoyance. "Five steps backwards."
"Why do I keep walking backwards?" Melanie asked. "The finish line is the other way."
"Kick to your left and you'll realize why."
Melanie hesitated but she decided to try anyway. She hit one of the planks and shocked herself.
"Now try again on your right."
"Ok, I get it." she rolled her covered eyes. "It's like a maze or something, yeah?"
"Correct. Now, take five steps back and stop talking." Scarlett added the last part with extra authority.
Ryan was now at the maze she continued walking until she finally bumped into a plank and was shocked. She took a step back. "Now what?"
"Walk over it." Eva told her.
"Are you kidding me?" Ryan asked.
"It's up to your knees. Just take a large step over and get it over with faster. You touch it, just try again."
Ryan grumbled some more as she attempted to find the perfect way to get over the obstacle. She tapped in twice, both times getting her small shocks, but she managed to get over. "Okay, let me guess, walk forward?"
"Yes, be prepared to step over another."
Mariana and Cynthia weren't too far behind. "Okay, you gotta be extra careful here!" Owen warned his partner. "There is a maze with not a lot of room to move around in.
"Just tell me what to do." Mariana responded.
"Umm, walk a bit to your right to get to the entrance and we can go from there."
Cynthia had reached the beginning of the maze as well, close to Mariana. "Alright, take a few steps to your left." Justin told her.
As she did, Mariana walked to the right. The two collided with each other. Cynthia managed to stay on her feet but the smaller of the two, Mariana, ended up falling backwards. She fell into the mud but was lucky not to receive a shock.
"What hit me?" Mariana rubbed her head.
Cynthia looked embarrassed. "Sorry." she apologized. "I didn't see you there."
"I wonder why?" Mariana responded dryly.
Cynthia leaned down and patted the mud until she felt what she thought was Mariana's hand. She helped her up to her feet. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I was already covered in mud anyway." she attempted to brush the mud off of her once more.
"Hey, stop talking to her and get moving!" Cynthia heard Justin's voice in static and winced.
"I think my headset is broken."
"Sucks to be you." Mariana told her but then got the same static feedback from Owen. "Nevermind, sucks to be both of us."
The two girls were surprised by a sudden squeak of a horn. "And Melanie is the first to cross the finish line!"
"Well, I'd say it's been fun but I won't lie to myself." Mariana stated before reaching up to her headset. "Okay, Owen let's go."
"Right, turn to your right and keep going!" his voice was grainy and hurt to listen to but she could at least make out the words.
Back with Ryan, she continued to take slow, long steps forward. Eva wasn't provided with enough feedback to properly tell her when to step over, so she just turned every step into an attempt to. "How much longer am I doing this for?"
"You're almost there." Eva said.
"Good, I probably look like an idiot."
It was only a few more steps of walking strangely until she crossed the line. "Congratulations on second!" Chris told her.
She took off her blindfold and looked behind her. Her eyes went wide in anger when she saw the last roughly ten steps she took were open field. "Hey! What gives? You could have told me to stop earlier!" she yelled into the headset.
"I didn't need to." Eva simply stated.

Returning to the wheel, it spun and landed on Beauty.
A flash showed four canvases set up in an open field. "For our Beauty challenge, the chosen contestants will paint their captains. With a few added extra shocks here and there, to keep things interesting."
It was Fern, Ozzy, Yoshi, and Carter up at the canvases, all ready to begin to paint.
"Do you want me to strike a pose?" Owen asked Ozzy.
"Nope, all good! I have a vision! And that vision is art!" he began to splatter colours all of the blank canvas.
Scarlett sat cross-legged in a chair as Yoshi began to paint her. "Do you have a good side?" he asked.
"Are you trying to insinuate something?" she scowled.
"No, just trying to get this right. I am good at many things, painting isn't one of them." as he touched his brush to the canvas a shock ruptured through his body causing him to accidentally create a long line of orange across the entire painting. "And Chris isn't helping."
Justin stood with a smile awaiting his portrait to be finished. "How's it coming along? he asked.
Fern looked up from the painting. "Sorry, you say anything?" she tilted her head in confusion. Just as she has stopped, an electric shock pulsated through her body. She blinked a few times but didn't give a response, she just continued to paint.
Carter was eyeing Eva with a concentrated glare. He continued to look between her and his work. His painting was unstopped, even managing to keep his composure through a couple of small shocks. Although the quality was lacking in the lines and colours when he was.
The four continued painting their portraits. A few electrical shocks here and there to keep them on their toes and to mess them up at crucial times.
"Times up!" Chris announced. He held out the remote and held down the button, causing the four to be electrified until they put down their brushes. "Let's see what you got!"
He approached Ozzy's first. "I call it: The Hero." Ozzy stated.
His portrait had Chris perplexed. Owen was clearly shown, to anyone looking at it, it would look like Owen. However, hit signature fat body was replaced with a bulkier one. He still had his largeness but he looked a lot stronger than he actually was. In his pose, he was smiling and lifting his entire team above his head. While Owen had some features, the team he lifted were merely stick figures with messily coloured hair. Colours were wild around him, with random splats to cover up the white canvas rather than leave it blank. There was a noticeably large smear across the left side of the canvas, removing one of Owen's arms from existence.
"Okay, it's interesting, to say the least." Chris stated, truly unsure of what to say.
"I think he likes it." Ozzy whispered over to Therion.
"Well, it doesn't look that bad." Therion honestly said. "Quite perplexing, to say something."
Chris moved over to look at Carter's creation. To begin, the quality was worse off than Ozzy's with less detail and sense of area. Only the caricature of Eva sat on the canvas. Her brow was exaggerated and her lips were turned into a snarl. Her arms and torso were large in comparison to her frame, to make her look stronger. Colouring was done hastily with more of her body just being blue to match her clothes. It was surprisingly consistent with few mistakes, even if it didn't look that good.
Chris rubbed his chin. "Not bad. I Like the large brow."
"Wait, let me see it." Eva stomped over at hearing Chris comment on it. She looked at it and growled. "This looks like crap! This doesn't look anything like me!" she complained. She then snapped the painting in half with her bare hands.
"It was an honest attempt." was all Carter responded.
"Don't let her having a cow ruin it for you, you did good." Ryan told him.
Carter looked suspicious at her for coming to defend him.

Chris moved over to Fern's. He was surprised to see how good it looked. There were a few mistakes but most have been covered up or cleverly added to the painting itself. It looked almost exactly like Justin, missing a few of the details from the restraint of time. His eyes were captivating and his smile inviting. He was laying down in the painting, even though he wasn't in real life.
Chris grinned. "The Beauties is beautiful! Easily the best so far." The other campers moved around for a better view of the painting. Oohs and aahs left the crowd as almost everyone was impressed by its look.
Lifting his hand, Chris silenced the crowd. "Now, for the final one." he moved on to Yoshi's. His face immediately turned into a cringe as he saw what was done. The person on the canvas couldn't really be described as Scarlett or a person in general. It was a messy stick figure with large glasses and a massive frown that continued off of its own face. The hair was painted on as a glob of orange and another splatter of orange paint had gone down and covered one of its arms. While its arms and legs were merely stick like lines, two of them still managed to look squiggly and deformed, likely due to the shocks. "Yikes." Chris grimaced.
He followed his soured look with his signature smile. "That makes the grading easy at least. Full points to Beauty, one for the Brains." he announced. the highest and lowest points. He looked to think for a second before continuing. "Three points to Rejects and two to the Brawns."
The point totals added up at the bottom of the screen on the four counters. In order of Brain, Brawn, Beauty, and Rejects they read a total of: twelve, ten, eleven, seven.
A flash took everyone back to the wheel. "Now for round two! Disregard your first card and look to the second to see which order you are competing in." Chris explained. He spun the wheel and it landed on the Brawn section.
A close-up shot of a pair of handcuffs being clasped around two peoples wrists zoomed out to show the full scene. The cuffs were being placed by Chef around Eva and Laurie's wrists.
"For this strength-based challenge, you must work together with your leader to scale the cliff." Chris explained. "The handcuffs should make sure you stay nice and close, perfect for getting to know one another!"
Kathy looked annoyed to be cuffed to Owen. "He's just going to slow me down." she huffed.
"Being cuffed to a sociopath isn't fun either." Yoshi spoke up.
Chris held out an airhorn. "Oh, and by the way, some spots on the wall are no-goes. You touch them and get shocked." everyone looked to the cliff wall and noticed it looked like a normal wall. "I also forgot to paint them." he grinned.
Justin turned to Fern and gave her his best smile. "Let's try to avoid those rough spots, to save this." he flipped his hair. "Static doesn't play well with my hair."
Chris rang the airhorn and the four teams began to climb. Eva and Laurie took an early lead from their strength and endurance. Scarlett and Yoshi had a rhythm down pat allowing them to easily move even with each having a handcuffed to the other.
Owen and Kathy were having more of an issue. Owen was rather slow while Kathy was trying to go as fast as possible. This lead to her being above him and having her arm stretched down below to reach to his. "Come on hurry up!" her body was constantly moving while she waiting for him to catch up.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" he told her, trying his best to speed up. A rock he stepped on cracked under his weight and he lost his footing. Luckily, he managed to keep a grip on the wall and place his foot back safely.
Eva and Laurie continued their lead over the others. However, they were slowed down when Laurie grabbed the wrong rock, causing her to be shocked. The electricity flowed through the metal handcuffs and shocked Eva too, stopping both of them in their tracks. "Sorry." Laurie apologized.
"Just keep moving." Eva commanded and the two began to ascend once more.
Down below, Sarah cheered out for Fern and Justin. "Go team Beauty!" she called into the air. She suddenly stopped from her cheering as if a sudden urge hit her. She then looked around suspiciously. "I need to go for a second." she said before leaving the group.
"Where is she going?" Rellik asked, confused.
Cynthia pretended it wasn't important. "I'm sure it's nothing."
"Should I check on her? Make sure she's okay?" he offered.
"No!" Cynthia burst out. "I mean, it's uh, girl stuff. You wouldn't understand."
"Ah." he nodded. "Say no more."
Chris stood at the bottom of the cliff wielding his megaphone. "Looks like The smart duo are catching up to first!" he commentated. "And the Rejects are in dead last!"
"You can't blame me for that!" Kathy shouted down at the host. She grabbed at a small edge but got shocked for it, forcing her to move her hand to a more awkward position. She grit her teeth in pain and annoyance.
Scarlett and Yoshi were being careful but keeping a fast pace. Yoshi slightly touched the surface whenever he moved his hands allowing him to quickly move them away if he felt the tell-tale pain of the electrical shock. The duo hit a few but recovered quickly since they were shorter bursts than they would have normally been.
Justin and Fern moved slowly but were in no fear of being passed by the Rejects. They had an easier time climbing as it seemed their section of the cliff had more wear on it allowing more corners and edges to grab onto. Fern's aloof nature and Justin's ignorant one slowed them down more than they should have been.
Kathy, in her own rush of things, placed her foot on an edge that shocked her. She was unable to remove it easily, being constantly electrified until she managed to find a better footing. Of course, her better footing failed her as well and she fell from the cliffside.
Owen's arm was pulled with her but he was too bulky to be pulled down. She groaned in annoyance to be hanging by her wrist. "Wow, you smell that?" Owen asked. She looked up to see the ends of her hair stood up on end, an almost visible smoke coming off of her.
She suddenly lit up with an idea. "Yeah, I do! I think it's bacon!"
Owen sniffed again. "I don't smell any bacon. Smells like something burning."
"That's the bacon! If we don't reach the top, it'll all be burnt!" she claimed.
Owen gasped in a panic. "I'm not losing bacon!" he quickly began to scale the cliff, Kathy still hanging.
Eva was almost at the top when she turned in surprise to see Owen scaling quickly. He passed the Beauties and was gaining on the Brains. "How can he move that fast?" Laurie asked in shock.
Eva gave a quick tug to the cuffed wrist. "Stay focused." she commanded and the two continued their climb.
Justin encountered a rough patch which slowed the team down giving Owen even more of a lead on them. By the time Fern and he were through, The Brawns had already reached the top.
The camera went back down below where Kazu was watching intently. He watched in anticipation as he saw his brother get another shock trying to go faster for second place.
"Why are you so worked up? We won." Ryan asked him.
"Just keeping an eye on Yoshi. I can root for a second place, can't I?" he looked over to Carter as if asking permission.
"What are you looking at me for?" he asked. He soon realized from his expression. "You can root for your brother just don't work with him. It's our team first, got it?"
"Whatever." Ryan rolled her eyes. "You're so pensive, you gotta loosen up some." she began to say but he looked distracted. "Are you even listening to me?" she got angry.
Carter was busy staring off to the Beauties, specifically at the lack of Sarah in the team.

"It's neck and neck!" Chris's voice rang out. The Brains' early lead against the Rejects had faltered and now they only relied on their speed to outmatch them. Owen's lust for food still carried strong, allowing him to easily resist the pain from shocks that came from Kathy's collar. She had managed to get a hold on the cliffside once more and climbed in tandem with Owen.
Justin had already given up on climbing and decided it would be a faster climb down than up.
With the two teams matching each other in pace, it was a close shot for the goal. Cheers erupted from excited campers below, urging their own team to win. "Come on O!" Ozzy shouted up. "You two got this!"
Owen began to tire out but his burst of speed paid off well. He slapped his hand down on top of the cliff and Kathy managed to place herself at its peak. "Yes!" she shouted into the air. She threw her hands up, only managing to get one in the air since the other was still attached to Owen.
Owen finished his own climb by crawling onto the solid ground. "Where's the bacon?" he asked, now out of breath.
Kathy winced. "I think Eva ate it all." she lied.
Owen groaned and fell down into the dirt.
Scarlett finished her climb alongside Yoshi. "I can see winning isn't a high priority on your list."
"Bonding with you isn't either." Yoshi rebutted. "Let's just cut the shit. We both lost, deal with it. This whole working together thing will be a lot easier for everyone on this team if we don't talk."
"I'm surprised. We agree on something." she spat.

A flash showed the wheel again, this time landing on the Reject space.
Another flash brought the participating contestants in front of a large table, seated with their captains. In front of them sat a large covered silver dish. Cynthia sat with Justin, Kazu with Eva, Mariana for the Rejects, and Camila for the Brains.
"Who's hungry?" Chris asked while lifting the Brain's dishes top. Underneath was a horrid display of food. Some form of meat covered in a grey sauce surrounded by lumps of hair and toenail clippings. There was a pile of some form of an excuse of vegetables and a small bowl with a brown bubbling liquid.
Justin gagged. "I'm not touching this."
Chris placed a hand on his shoulder. "Not to worry! You only need a minimum of one bite! As long as both of you eat something it counts." he explained.
Justin turned to Cynthia and put on a large smile. "Hey, I don't actually know your name but you got to help me out here. You wouldn't want all of this to be ruined by eating that?" he pointed to himself.
"I'll try my best." she gulped.
Chris held out a remote. "I'll press this button whenever I feel like it, you can all guess what it does." he laughed before pressing it, shocking the four at the table. "Go!" he shouted.
While the contestants began digging away at their meals, the others didn't really want to watch the display. Ryan turned to Laurie. "Hey, nice work on that climbing. You did well." she complimented. "A bit rough on the charades though."
Laurie looked embarrassed. "Sorry, I just didn't know what the thing even was."
"The boat of losers? From the first season?"
"Sorry, I never watched the show before." she admitted.
"Never watched Total Drama, eh?" Ryan looked surprised. "Like, nothing at all?"
Laurie shook her head. "I was never allowed to. Father always said it was too inappropriate."
Ryan got a chuckle out of that. "So why'd you sign up then?"
Laurie looked apprehensive to answer. "I just wanted to get away from things for a while."
Ryan noticed her hesitant behaviour. "Look, you don't have to be nervous about anything around us, we're your team. Even Eva has a heart, properly."
Laurie gave her a slight smile in response.
The camera panned over to Therion who was leaning against a tree. Ozzy stood beside him whistling a happy tune. Therion gave him a pointed look but didn't say anything. Ozzy continued, oblivious he was annoying the other boy.
Eventually, Therion got up and walked away, ending up closer to Kathy. The small girl looked up at him. "Did you see my backflip earlier?" she asked.
"Yes, I was there." he responded.
"Oh, yeah." she remembered and turned away. After a few seconds, she turned back. "Hey, wanna help me set that up again? I think I can pull off like a triple backflip or something! Or, if we find a bike or something like that I can go flying off the roof! It will be so cool."
"You seem very eager to jump off of things."
"Well, there's not a lot of stunts you can do from just standing on the ground! If I had my rollerblades I could show you some cool tricks!"
"They'd just get caught in the grass." he pointed out.
"They'd work fine!" she argued.
He just shrugged, not wanting to continue the conversation.
The two stood in silence for a couple seconds. Kathy spoke up. "Do you think Chris would let me get my rollerblades?"
Therion just sighed.
At the table, Owen had just finished eating the last of the meal. "All done!" he called out.
Chris nodded. "First place to the obvious choice."
Mariana stepped down to join her team. "When do we get these stupid collars off." she complained.
"Hopefully soon." Therion answered her.
Ozzy moved over and swung an arm around his shoulders. "But we still got a challenge to do!" he looked to the girls. "Now, be honest, how much have you bonded with Owen so far?"
Kathy rolled her eyes and scoffed. "He's such a pig. The only reason we won the climbing challenge is cuz I tricked him there was food up there!"
"You didn't win it." Mariana bluntly stated.
"Whatever, close enough."
Ozzy chuckled. "You'll warm up to him, he's a great guy! The short time I've known him has been great!"
The team stopped as they heard Chris make another announcement. "Kazu and Eva are next to finish!"
Kazu threw his arms into the air. "Yes!" his stomach began to gurgle and he clutched it. "Oh, crap." He ran off to the washrooms.
Mariana watched uncaringly. "I'm going to go lay down." she walked away.
Over with the Brains, they were watching Camila attempting to eat the garbage since Scarlett was being too apprehensive too. "Do you think we can get third?" Liam asked the other two.
Melanie turned to look at Cynthia and Justin who were equally as slow. "Maybe but it'll take a while no matter what."
"I for one have full trust in our team." Liam claimed. "Trust that can easily be lost." he jokingly added.
"It shouldn't matter, as long as you two do well on your challenges." Yoshi spoke up.
"Indeed." Liam nodded. "I hope I get the intelligence related one. I'm hoping it's stand up comedy."
"Seriously?" Melanie asked.
"Yep! It makes sense, you need a sharp wit to crack some good jokes."
"And you have one?" she quipped.
"Har-har." Liam fake laughed. "I guarantee you that I can make everyone on this island laugh."
"Wanna bet?"
He grinned. "Yes, I just need a small amount of help."
"Wouldn't be much of a bet if I helped you do it." she said.
"Trust me, it will be worth it."

The scene returned with Chris announcing the third-place winner. "The Beauties manage to pull through for two points!"
Camila slammed a fist into the table. "What was that crap?" she turned to Scarlett.
"I don't do well with," she thought for a second. "Inedible food."
"You're supposed to be our captain! Act like it and suck it up!"
The two scowled at each other and Yoshi moved over. "Okay, let's forget about this." he got between them. He turned to whisper to Camila. "Let's talk about this later."
She rolled her eyes. "Whatever."
A quick shot of the wheel showed it landing on the Brain space.
Another flash took the four participating campers Carter, Liam, Ozzy, and Sarah to the next challenge. In front of each one sat a weird contraption on a table. It had various wires poking out and a screen with a time on it. Numbers and letters were written on the side and a few buttons jutted out below the screen.
Carter eyed the contraptions. "Are those bombs?"
Chris chuckled. "Of course not! We would never have such dangerous weapons on our show."
"So they're bombs?" he raised a brow.
"Stink bombs!" the host grinned. "And you will be disarming it!"
Everyone else began to back up. Liam looked around the table. "Is there like, a manual or instruction guide or something?"
Chris took out a binder. "Everything you need is in here." he wiggled it in front of Liam but when he went to grab it he pulled it back. "Which only your leader can read."
"Where are they?" Ozzy asked.
"Safe and secure, sitting in the mess hall. They will provide all instructions to you over headsets. The bombs will go off if you don't disarm them in five minutes. Any mistakes will make you feel the stinging bite of electricity."
"This is totally safe, right?" Sarah asked.
Chris shrugged. "Probably." he took out his airhorn and rang it. The timers on the bombs began to go down.
Suddenly, the headsets came to life. "Hey, can you hear me?" Owen's voice came through Ozzy's line.
"Loud and clear!"
"Good, this thing is kinda confusing so bear with me. Is there any wires?"
Ozzy looked at the bomb and saw all of the wires poking out. "Lots."
Scarlett was quick to ask concise questions. "How many wires are there?"
Liam moved around the bomb, making sure to count at all sides. "Thirteen."
"And their colours?"
"Six-no, five reds, three yellow, two green, one black, one white, three blue."
The camera panned over to Carter who was doing the same thing. "Eleven wires, three red, two yellow, four blue, two black." he sat in silence as he waited for a response.
"There should be a serial number somewhere."
He turned to the front of the bomb where there was a mixture of letters and numbers. "Yes, G54FX"
"Okay, the first thing you'll do is cut the black wire."
The camera panned again to Sarah. She was holding a pair of wire cutters and cut a blue wire. She was jolted. "Ow! I thought you said cut the blue one!"
"What? No, I asked how many blue ones there were."
"Oh, three. Well, two now." she answered.
"Um, you said fifteen wires total?"
"Yes!"
She heard him flipping a page and writing something down. "You only gave me thirteen."
"What? Are you sure?" she began to recount.
Another pan showed Ozzy again. "So I hold the blue button?"
"Yeah, hold it down."
He pressed the button and the bomb began to click. "Should it be clicking?"
"Uh," Owen didn't have an answer. "Okay, is it more of a click or tick?
Ozzy rubbed his chin with her free hand. "I'd say click."
"Okay, there should be a red button as well press and hold that one."
he did and the clicking stopped. "We did it!" he then noticed the timer was still counting down. "It seems the clock doesn't want to stop!"
Carter reached over and cut a red wire. Nothing happened so he cut two more. On the last one, he got shocked. "Third red shocked me."
"It said cut three red wires." Eva defended her claim.
"Check the book for instructions on the wires again."
"What do you think I'm doing? This thing is worthless!" she complained.
Liam pressed a yellow button quickly and released it. "There, the button has been pressed."
"Cut the topmost green wire." Scarlett told him. He did and the timer on the bomb stopped at a minute and a half left.
"All done here! No giant explosion for me tonight." Liam looked at the others than at Chris. "I'm good to clear out, right?"
The host nodded.
Back to Sarah, she pressed a button and held it down for three seconds after which, she began to get electrocuted. It continued until she released the button. "We're running out of time!" she warned Justin.
"Did the button work?"
"Did you hear my cries? No, it didn't work!"
A snip was heard from her side. She turned to see Carter had finished his. "Two people are already done, hurry up!" she whined.
"I don't know, this whole thing is confusing." Justin claimed. "I have no idea what's happening."
"Are you serious?" she shouted.
"Maybe just do stuff randomly?" he suggested.
"This is going to end badly." she murmured to herself as she began to hit random buttons and cut random wires. Each one gave her a shock. She finally cut a yellow wire and the counter stopped. "Yes!" it then began to spew noxious fumes into the air.
She began to cough at the smell which got the attention of Ozzy. The smell soon reached him to and he was forced to stop what he was doing. The timer on his bomb reached zero and began to spew the rancid smelling fumes out too.
Everyone began to run away from the site to avoid the smell.
A flash showed Chris standing in front of the crowd with both Sarah and Ozzy off to the side due to their now putrid smell. "Alright, since Sarah accidentally set off her bomb early, her team gets last."
His announcement was met with groans from the Beauties but cheers from the rejects. The counters appeared at the bottom of the screen showing the totals. Brawn had the most at twenty, next with Brains with nineteen, then the Rejects had sixteen to Beauties fifteen.
The wheel was shown for the final time where it landed on Beauty.
The scene swapped to a worn downstage with a single mic in the centre. The final four contestants awaited the announcement for the challenge. Chris walked up to the centre of the stage wearing a fancy blue suit. "It's our final challenge today and it's time to see how well your team captains know you. In this-" Chef played a few notes on a piano. "Singing challenge!" Chris sand out the last words.
Rellik smiled. "Awesome, I was made for this!"
"Good because you'll be singing a song of your captains' choosing."
Melanie groaned. "I'm going to have to sing something stupid, aren't I?"
"It could be worse." Therion told her. "My song is likely going to be about food."
"I'm just hoping I don't have to do rap." Rellik spoke up. "Other than Lose Yourself I'm not really a big fan."

"This is all worthless." Eva scoffed.
Chef stood in the corner with his arms folded. "Just pick something, we ain't got all day."
"Do we have to pick something from the list?" Justin asked.
"No, as long as it's appropriate for T.V. Chris doesn't want half the song to be censored."
"Is there a vetting process then?" Scarlett questioned.

The camera returned to show Chris standing on stage holding some cue cards. He gave the mic a few taps to test it allowing static to ring out. "First up is Ryan
Chris returned to the centre stage after Melanie left. He shifted through his cue cards. "Our next performer is Therion who's song Owen said: sounded delicious."
Therion walked up on stage holding the lyric sheets in front of him. He adjusted his glasses as the music began.
A long, long time ago
It started sombre, with the piano notes matching his words.
I can still remember how that music used to make me smile
A long shock interrupted his singing. It stayed for a few seconds and the entire song stopped when it ended
"What gives?" Therion asked, rubbing his throat.
"You are not singing American Pie!" Chris told him. "That song is like, nine minutes long!"
"Owen picked it. You guys let him."
Owen noticed he was being looked at. He chuckled sheepishly. "It had pie in the name!"
Chris remained annoyed. "Whatever. I'll stop you when I get bored."
"So do we just start over?" Therion asked. The music began again at the spot he left off. He panicked and looked back down to the lyrics.
Uh- If I had my chance
he caught up to the words
I can make those people dance and maybe they'd be Ack!
He was jolted and lost his place.
But February made me shiver, with every paper I delivered
Bad news at the doorstep
I could-couldn't take one more step
he stuttered the line as he was hit by a shock
I can't remember if I cried
When I read about his Grk!- bride
Something touched me deep inside
The day the music died
So, bye-bye, Miss American Pie
a heavy shock overtook him and he had to catch his breath.
hm la la-levee was dry
And them good ol boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
Singin', "This'll be the day that I die
This'll beeeeee day-that-I-die
He extended a word in pain before quickly filling in the ones he had missed. His singing was soft and fitting to the theme of the song. His team looked captivated and excited at his performance.
Did you write-
He tried to continue but a long continuous shock stopped him. The music stopped soon after. He rubbed his neck in annoyance trying to subdue the pain. "A simple 'stop' would have worked."
Chris gave a short clap and a few others joined in with cheers. "Not bad. Struggled in some sports but was surprisingly decent. Didn't think you had it in you."
"Thanks? I guess." he didn't know if to take the compliment or insult.
Chris walked up and pushed him to the side, forcing him off the stage. "Our next performer is Melanie. Scarlett described her song as paradoxically extravagant."

Melanie - "Why couldn't Scarlett pick a rock song! It would have been way more my style! At least I can read a music sheet. This song has a couple pauses and it would sound horrible if I didn't."

Melanie prepared by clearing her throat. She looked to instinctively reach out to play strings on a bass guitar but his hands fell idle when she realized there was nothing there.
Alone at the edge of a universe humming a tune
she began, her voice carrying well. There was a lack of instruments and the only sound carrying the song was her voice.
For merely dreaming we were snow
A, Ow! Jerk... A siren sounds like the goddess who promises endless apologies of paradise
Due to the lack of music, she kept on her own rhythm and repeated her mistake rather than skipping it
And only she can make it right
So things are different tonight
We'll go together in flight
The music finally picked up giving her a proper tune to sing along to. A quick pace of piano keys now guided her way.
It's now or never a rev-rev endeavour
she struggled to pronounce a word
awaits som-nam-bu-lant directives to- ow, take the helm
Believe me, darling, the stars were meant for falling
Like Melting Obelisks as tall as another realm
Melanie's voice contorted in confusion for a second as she continued to read the lyrics.
Are you kidding me- Un ensamble d'efants, la galaxie set-and
she began to speak French in a weak accent.
Jardon-Ow, de l-imagination
Combler la-ow-lacune, voler face a la lune
Vois comme nous evolutions
The music stopped a long shock indicated her end. Similarly to Therion, she tugged at the collar. "Can I take this off now?"
Chris walked back up on stage looking perplexed from the performance. He clapped nonetheless. "That was, interesting." he sounded unsure. "Next is Rellik with a song Justin described as the best idea ever."
Claps came out from the Beauties as he stepped up on stage in front of the mic. "Thank you everyone but save the applause for after my performance." he grinned. He gave a nod to Chef who returned it and started the song.
It began with an all too familiar tune. Chris couldn't help himself from grinning from the clear suck-up.
Tell mom and dad I'm doing fine
He sang the first line beautifully, the other performers began to feel worried.
You guys are on my mind
you asked me what I wanted to be
and now I think the answer is ahh!
He missed the final few words as he clenched his teeth instead.
I wanna be famous
I wanna live close to the sun
Getting into the song, he threw one hand into the air, pointing upwards.
Oh, pack your bags 'cause I've already won
His arm came down to point at the audience before switching to himself at the end of the line.
Everything to prove nothiiiiing in-my-way
A shock made him carry a vowel too long, forcing him to speed up the rest of the line to fit the beat.
I'll get there one day
Cause, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na, grk! ow!
Na na na na na na
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
He finished with the iconic whistle, without interruption. He bowed and his team cheered and clapped. "Thank you, thank you. I'm glad I could impress this lovely audience." he winked towards his team.
Chris came up clapping as well. "I always love a suck-up." he admitted. Rellik nodded and left the stage. "Now, last but hopefully not least we've got Ryan! With a song that Eva picked randomly!"
Ryan stepped up onto the stage with a smile. "Not least is correct, let me show you how it's done!" she said in confidence.
That's great it starts with an earthquake
birds and snakes, an aeroplanes
and Lenny Bruce is not afraid
she quickly took a large breath in
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn
World serves its own needs, don't mis-serve your own needs
The music and her singing was quick, almost mumbled as she tried to keep up.
Speed it up a notch, speed, grunt, no strength
The ladder starts to clatter with fear of height, down height
She grunted as she got shocked but fought through it, managing to sing the line completely.
Wire in a fire, representing seven games
In a government for hire and a combat-ahhh!
A stronger shock hit her, this time disrupting her singing.
-coming in a hurry
With the furies breathing down your neck
Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered crop
Look at the low plane-fine, then
Uh Oh, overflow, population, Common Food?
She quickly took another large breath but looked strained. Another shock hit her but she managed to fight through it again.
But it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself
World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed
Tell me with the rapture-something something right, right
You vitr- uh - patriotic, slam, fight, bright light
Feeling pretty psyched
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the Ow,ugh!-and I feel fine
The music ended and she was interrupted by a long shock. "Finally, it's over." she breathed out.
She got cheers from Kazu. "Awesome performance Ry!"
She smiled. "Thank you!" she said overly nice.
Chris shooed her off the stage and took his place. "Ok, time to rank the performances." he took out some notes he took. "The best of the best had to be Rellik!" he announced to no ones surprise.
His team cheered and Rellik basked in the attention. "Thanks every one!"
"You got a little brown on your nose." Camila called out.
Chris coughed to get everyone's attention. "The worse of the four had to be-" he stopped for a second. "Melanie"
"What? Come on!" she shouted.
Chris just turned back to his notes and ignored her. "For the final two teams, out of the Rejects and Brawn, I'll give the three points to the Brawn."
The final scores quickly showed at the bottom. Brains had twenty, Brawns had twenty-two, Beauties had nineteen and the Rejects had eighteen.
"That means the Rejects are living up to their name once more!" Chris revealed. "And I'll be seeing you, at the ceremony tonight!"
A flash showed the campers sitting in the mess hall eating dinner. Carter continued suspicious looks towards Sarah. Laurie ended up noticing. "Is everything okay?"
Carter changed his gaze to her. "Everything is fine."
"Ok." she knew something was up but didn't want to push.
"We did awesome today!" Kazu sat down next to her. "High fives everyone!" he reached his hand out. Laurie and Sarah responded with one but Carter didn't seem interested.
"Your brother still eating garbage?" Carter asked.
"I actually didn't notice." he admitted. "But most likely."
The camera panned towards the Beauty table where Sarah sat admiring Rellik. "That was so good today!" she complimented. "You could really be a famous singer one day!"
Rellik responded by brushing his hair. "Maybe one day I can start a boy band."
"You should totally rap and stuff!" she suggested. "Do you know any Drake songs?"
"Eh, I'm not really a fan of rapping myself." he admitted. He noticed her spirits go down. "But I can always learn."
She quickly gained her excitement back. "I totally have to tell Vanessa about this!"
Rellik looked confused. "Vanessa?"
"Her best friend." Cynthia quickly butted it. "Which she'll have to wait to talk to after the season." she eyed her.
Sarah realized what she meant. "Oh, right! Yeah, I'll have to write it down or something."
Rellik remained confused and noticed the two girls looked nervous. "I see what's happening here." he grinned.
Sarah's eyes went wide in shock.
"Okay girls, I'll leave you two alone for now. Have fun." he got up and left with a knowing smile.

Rellik - "Those two totally have the hots for me! That's what all this girl stuff is about! I just gotta figure out which one likes me more, I wouldn't want to break their hearts too early."

A flash showed the elimination ceremony. The four members of the Rejects sat glumly with their captain Owen. "Welcome back, Rejects!" Chris laughed at them. "Enjoy today's bonding experience?"
"I learned a lot about being shocked." Therion answered. "Wouldn't recommend."
"Agreed." Mariana nodded.
"What about you Owen? You learn about your team today?" Chris asked.
Owen thought for a second. "Not really. We're already so close!"
Kathy rolled her eyes.
"Well, who do you think is the worst member of your team so far? Someone that really needs to get their act together?"
"Oh, I can't say that! Everyone's been great!" Owen claimed.
"Are you sure? There isn't anything bad?" Chris goaded him.
Owen shook his head. "Everyone's been awesome!"
Chris frowned. "Very well. On to the elimination."
Chris held out a box of crackers. "Polly hungry?" he joked. "First up to get a immunity treat is Ozzy."
Ozzy stood up with a massive grin. He caught his and quickly ate the stale cracker.
"Therion." Chris calmly said. He missed his. Chris looked between the two girls on the team. Kathy sat with her leg thumping the ground and hands to her mouth, visibly nervous. Mariana didn't seem to care too much.
"The final symbol of immunity tonight goes to..." the host paused, allowing the tension to hang in the air. "Kathy."
"YES!" she shouted into the air, throwing both her arms up. She soon realized everyone was shooting her looks. "Oh, sorry."
"Can't say I wasn't expecting that." Mariana sighed.
"Sorry." Therion apologized. "You just didn't seem like a team player."
"Honestly?" she raised a brow. "I would have slept half the time anyway. I wish I could have gone further though. She turned to Chris. "One more thing," she opened her mouth to say something, presumably a secret she had learned but she held her tongue. "Nevermind, it's nothing."
She walked over to the helicopter with Chef piloting it. She gave a short wave to her team and they returned it, Owen looking the saddest to see her go.
With the helicopter taking off and the remainder of the team leaving, Chris was by himself. "What exciting mysterious will we have next episode? Will people realize we have cameras literally everywhere? Tune in and find out next time on Total Drama Brains vs Brawns vs Beauty!"
"Don't forget us!" Owen shouted from off-screen before everything faded out.
I will first begin this outro by talking about what I claimed in chapter 5. I had stated I had already started this chapter and that is true, the intro for this chapter was completely finished before the sixth one went out. A major reason it took so long was burnout from not feeling like the challenge was good enough. This is the fourth revision of this chapter, each containing the same intro but with different challenges presented in them. The first drafts all had the same idea, he campers going to another island to do a challenge there but it was going to turn into a walk around and do stuff challenge similar to the previous one so I scrapped it for now and it will appear later. For a reference of time, the first version of the chapter was created in May of 2020, next was December 2020, third was March 2021, and finally this one was created in late May 2021.
Another major issue is elimination. I don't really want to get rid of anyone. Mariana only left because I have ideas for her to keep an impact while still being gone.
Both of these issues have been solved with a full plan for chapters. I have a challenge layout and elimination order. I do believe the elimination order will change over time but at least I have the challenges so I won't double back on myself. And speaking of that, I will not double back anymore. If I write ten thousand words of a chapter I will finish it instead of restarting. Yes, the first version of this chapter was ten thousands words long and completely scraped. I hope the removal of tis indecisiveness will help streamline the process and make updating chapters faster, even if it's still a long time between them.
Songs used in order:
American Pie - Don McLean
Dream Sweet in Sea Major - ミラクルミュージカル (Miracle Musical)
Total Drama Theme (Obviously)
It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) - REM
The songs were all picked for different reasons. Eva's was just a random pick based off of a name I thought she'd find interesting enough to pick. Scarlett's was do to the strangeness and unique way the band does the album. It was originally going to be a different song from the album, The Mind Electric but this was is less insane than that. Also fun fact, due to this season likely taking place around 2011-2012 in canon (even though it'll take references from the future most likely) Scarlett's description of the song "Paradoxically extravagant" is because the song came out in late 2012, likely after thee season would take place. Justin's reasoning was just for him to have a smart idea like in Action. And finally Owen's was just because it had a food related name.
Do to the length between chapters, there may be inconsistencies with characters please point them out if you notice any, I've made it my best effort to make sure everything makes sense but I could miss somethings.
