Last chapter we saw Roxie join Chase on his journey as well as him battling the strange scientest Colress before the pair fell asleep in a cave

I woke up the next morning and noticed something was off. My feet felt really warm and my legs felt really really heavy. I sat up, looked down and saw a Darumaka at my feet and a Sandile on my legs. I forced my brain awake and asked "Would you two kindly get off me?". The Sandile looked at me a slightly bored look on its face then hopped off me. It then looked at the Darumaka and said "Oh it's a human. I thought it a strange looking rock".

The Darumaka moved away from my feet and said "Aye though that does explain why it was a warm rock".

"This human can hear can everything the pair of you are saying about him and he wishes to know why and how you thought he was a strange rock," I told them in a slightly annoyed too. The two Pokémon looked at me and I could see the look of surprise in their eyes.

"He can understand us," the Sandile said in surprise.

"It would appear that way yes," the Darumaka agreed.

"Whagoinon?" I heard a female voice say. I turned and saw Roxie sitting in her sleeping bag rubbing her eyes and a sleepy expression on her face. I thought she looked rather adorable liked that.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out," I told her before turning my attention back to the Sandile and Darumaka. "So why are you two in here?" I asked

The Sandile gave me a stare before answering "A sandstorm appeared, they happen frequently in this area, and we needed a place to stay while,".

"You mean the Darumaka needed a place to stay since the sandstorm would of caused injury to it whereas a sandstorm to a Sandile is nothing".

"That is true," the Sandile agreed.

"So how long should this sandstorm last?"

The Sandile thought for a moment then responded "Not too much longer I think".

"Alright cool". I climbed out of my sleeping bag and gave a big stretch. I looked over at Roxie and saw that she was out her sleeping bag but still had a sleepy look on her face. A michevious grin spread over my face I rummaged in my bag for my water bottle. I pulled it out of my bag, unscrewed the lid and tipped some water down her back. She let out a yelp as the cold water trickled down her back then snatched it out of my hand and tipped some of it on my head.

"How do you like it?" she asked in mild annoyance.

I just stared at her unfazed by it and said"That was rather refreshing. Not as refreshing as coffee though,".

Roxie let out a laugh and asked "Do you want some coffee?"

I shook my head and responded "Nah mostly awake thanks to our surprise vistors".

"We are sorry bout that as you said we Darumaka don't do well in sandstorms," the Darumaka told me.

I shook my head at it and responded "It's fine, I'm not annoyed at you too was just surprised. I don't expect to wake up and find Pokémon on me".

The Darumaka and Sandile just nodded in response then went to the mouth of the cave and started having a conversation between each other in hushed tones. Roxie now awake had started making herself something to eat so I rummaged through my bag and pulled out a muesli bar and a coupla bits of fruit and ate them. I then leaned against a cave wall, pulled my map out and had a look at the map. Roxie walked over to me and asked "Whatcha looking at?"

I looked up at her and said "I was seeing how far away from Relic Castle we were".

"How come?"

"It's a place I've always wanted to see and something I planned to go see on my journey"/

"So how far away are we?"

"Not too far we could probably make it there sometime today," my face lit up and I said "I wonder what sorta things we'll find and what?"

"Why are you so excited about it?" Roxie asked me curiously.

"It's got some interesting myths surrounding it".

"Like what?"

I thought for a moment but nothing came to head and then I answered "Sorry I can't remember, last time I read about the myths about Unova I was like 8 maybe".

Roxie smiled and responded "That's fine Chase," she then took a look at the map and continued "well it ain't too far from Nimbasa so we can stop there first before going to Nimbasa".

"What about getting to Driftveil for whatever Clay wants you to do?"

"Screw him, that old cowboy didn't tell me why or when he wanted me in Driftveil so he can go shove his hat where the sun don't shine".

"Yessss, thanks Roxie."

She laughed and said "You're welcome Chase".

The Sandile and Darumaka then walked over to us and the Sandile asked "Do you wish to go to Relic Castle human?" I looked at it in nodded in response. "If that is the case I'd be happy to guide you as Relic Castle is my home on one condition".

"And what condition would that be?" I asked curiously.

"We wish for you to become our trainer," the Darumaka told me.

"R-r-really why?" I stammered out in shock.

"You're an interesting human and you don't seem to be a bad human. And we wish to leave our homes and be with a trainer," the Darumaka told me.

I nodded and asked "So do you guys have names?"

"I am a Thurston and this is Carlotta," the Darumaka.

"Pleasure to meet the both of you, I'm Chase." I told them. I then pulled two Pokéballs out of my bag and went to capture them then stopped.

"Why did you stop Chase?" Roxie.

"I just realised that if I capture them they'll go to my PC Box coz I have a team of six".

"Do you have a Pokédex Chase?"

"Huh?" I asked in total surprise.

"A Pokédex. Do you have one?" Roxie asked again

"Yeah, why?"

"If you are a trainer with a Pokédex you have the ability to choose which Pokémon you can send to the PC when you make a new capture since both your Box,Pokéballs and Pokédex are register to your Trainer ID".

"Really that's pretty cool," I said in amazement. I pulled out my Pokédex and thought about who I should send into the PC. As I sat there thinking Thuhir popped out of his Pokéball and started chitting at me. "Are you saying you wanna go to the Box?" Thuhir made a yes gesture by move himself at an angle up and down. "Is this because of what happened with Shimone?" Thuhir made the yes gesture again. "Ok buddy I'll send ya there then". I then recalled Thuhir and then looked at Carlotta and asked "Carlotta do you mind waiting til after we've been to Relic Castle before I make your capture official?"

"Sure that's fine with me," Carlotta told me.

I then pressed a Pokéball in my hand against Thurston to capture him. As soon as the capture was successful I looked at my Pokédex and saw that it was asking if I wished to send Thurston to the PC. I selected the no option and the screen then asked which Pokémon I wished to send instead and it had the icons of each of my team. I selected Thuhir's icon and watched as his Pokéball vanished. I then looked at the mouth of the cave and saw that the sandstorm had disappeared. I then turned to Carlotta and Roxie and asked "You ladies ready to leave?" Roxie nodded and we packed up our stuff while Carlotta watched.

As soon as we packed up, Carlotta walked up too me to me and asked "Chase would you mind letting me sit on your head? It will be easier for me to keep up with you". I nodded, picked her up and placed her on my head then we made our way to Relic Castle with Carlotta's guidance.

A/N

As you guys may have noticed how Chase swapped Thuhir and Thurston is exactly how you can swap a new capture in the Gen VII games as well as giving a reason as to why this was possible. In my run I swapped Thurston with Thuhir in Nimbassa. The reason for the swap was because I had already completed a Platinum Nuzlocke with a Bronzor(Thuhir in case you forgot), though I unfortanely lost my Bronzong against Cynthia, and I wanted to try and use Pokemon I hadn't used in a playthrough before.

Next chapter we'll see Chase and Roxie at Relic Castle. What are these myths Chase heard about Relic Castle, what is it that Clay wants Roxie to do? Take a guess at what you think Clay wants Roxie for though if you've played B2W2 you should a good guess as to what it is
