"RZ we got your message. Is everything okay?" Ish asks as the group arrive at the H.O.K seeing Ricky is there with RZ.
"Yes guardians. For now. While Ricky was taking his turn on patrol there was an attempt to steal the Raiders mega core." RZ says as Alexis and the others look at each other.
"An attempt?" Alexis asks.
"I stopped the blitz bot but I didn't destroy it." Ricky says as he goes over to the others.
"One out of two isn't bad." Marty says as Ricky looks at him.
"Not so sure. This bot was different. It had this glow. This energy." Ricky says as the group look back at RZ.
"At the time of the attack my power readings went off the charts. The mega core is safe but I need you all to be on high alert in case Wild Card decides to try again." RZ says.
"Trust me next time I face that thing I do want to do it alone." Ricky says.
"You won't have to bro. We're all on the same team." Tua says as the group begins to leave.
"Except tomorrow when we play each other in football. Then the Bulldogs will rule." Marty says.
"Really? Tiger power's ready to roar." Ricky says excitedly.
"May the best team win." Ish says as he and Ricky fist bump each other.
"You'll be there won't you Alexis?" Troy asks as he looks at Alexis.
"Sorry guys. My aunt had something she wanted me to go help with. No idea what though she wouldn't tell me." Alexis says as the others look at her.
"Well whatever it is try to have some fun." Tua says.
"And you guys do your best. All of you." Alexis says as she smiles.
"You know we always do." Ish says happily.
*Timeskip*
"So aunt Kate what are we doing out here in the woods?" Alexis asks as she and her aunt are walking in wolf form.
"Well my darling I thought you may enjoy going for a walk?" Kate says as she smiles.
"A walk? Really aunt Kate?" Alexis asks looking at Kate.
"Okay so it's not just a walk." Kate says as she looks at Alexis.
"Aunt Kate please tell me what is going on?" Alexis asks.
"If you would like the truth I wanted to show you something I've been working on. Call it a memorial if you will." Kate says as the two stop near a little area filled with flowers, plants, small trinkets, and pictures.
"Wow. It's beautiful." Alexis says looking at the little area.
"Take a look." Kate says as Alexis slowly walks around before stopping on a picture of her, her mother, father, and family.
"These pictures.. They're pictures of our family... Before everything that happened." Alexis says shocked seeing the pictures.
"Yes well I got to thinking. Since it has been seven years since my mate Salo passed and eleven years since the others. I thought why not build a memorial for them. I thought we could celebrate their lives this weekend and do some of the activities we all used to do together." Kate says as Alexis goes over and nuzzles her.
"I love it aunt Kate. It's perfect." Alexis says.
"I thought you would like it." Kate says as she smiles.
"Alexis can you hear me?" A voice asks revealing to be RZ coming through on Alexis's N.F.L.R.
"I'm here RZ. What's wrong?" Alexis asks as she brings RZ up on her N.F.L.R shifting to human form.
"You're needed by the other guardians. Hurry back quickly." RZ says.
"On my way. I'll be there soon as I can." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and turns to take off running.
"Alexis wait dear." Kate says as Alexis looks back at her.
"Aunt Kate I have to go." Alexis says.
"I know but please be careful. I worry about you." Kate says.
"I know. I'll be okay aunt Kate. I promise." Alexis says as she runs off.
*Timeskip*
"I'm here! Sorry I was late." Alexis says as she arrives where the others are in guardian form seeing the others are not in guardian form.
"You're a little late on the fight but better late than never." Marty says.
"Sorry." Alexis says as she powers down.
"It's alright. You're here now." Ish says.
"Are you okay? RZ saw the power surge on his monitor." Ricky asks as he looks at Ish.
"Thanks but I could of handled it myself." Ish says.
"But you don't have to. You're not alone." Ricky says.
"What's with you Ish? this isn't a competition. We're all on the same team." Ash says as she places a hand on Ish's shoulder causing him to look at her.
"Not all the time. Most of the time." Ish says.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Ricky asks angrily as he looks at Ish.
"Did I miss something?" Alexis whispers to Marty.
"I'll explain later." Marty whispers.
"Code blitz! Code blitz! We got a problem." The Raiders rusher says as he comes running over.
*Timeskip*
"But like your friend said I checked and the mega core was still there. I mean it's great. Like nothing happened but then I go to check on the team and I see this." The Raiders rusher says as they arrive to the field seeing the team dropping the footballs and acting drained.
"Whoa." Ricky says.
"What happened to them?" Marty asks.
"It's like they're drained of any energy and motivation to do anything." Alexis says.
"Seriously? This is the franchise that won three super bowls?" Troy asks as he gestures to the team as they can't even catch footballs.
"So weird. They have no competitive spirit. It's like-" Ash then is cut off by Ish.
"Like they lost their mega core but the mega core is still in the vault." Ish says as he brings the mega core up on his N.F.L.R.
"So it's not just me right? There's Darren Mcfadden. Let's ask him what's up. Darren!" The Raiders rusher shouts as all the NFL player does is wave and keep walking.
"Where's he going? It's the middle of practice." Tua asks.
"Let's follow him and find out." Ricky says as the group go after the NFL player.
*Timeskip*
"Where'd he go?" Marty asks as the group stop outside in the parking lot.
"Excuse me but did you guys see Darren Mcfadden in there?" A voice asks revealing to be Jamaal Charles of the Kansas City Chiefs as a car honks and pulls up.
"You ready for dinner? I made a filet mignon. You kids can come too." Darren says revealing to be the driver as he steps out of the car while Jamaal goes over to him.
"I can't believe this." Marty says.
"Me either." Alexis says.
"Yea that's what I wanted to talk to you about." Jamaal says.
"Oh wait are you a vegetarian? I can do pasta too." Darren says.
"No I mean it's not that. I mean if it was the off season then it would be different." Jamaal says.
"But you guys are on different teams. Why would you ever want to hang out together?" Ish asks as the NFL players look at him.
"Cause Darren is a funny guy and he's a pretty good cook." Jamaal says as he gestures to Darren.
"Thank you. It may get pretty heated on the field but off the field we're just a couple of guys who love football." Darren says.
"Wow. I never thought about it like that." Ish says as he looks down at the ground.
"What about the other guys on your team? Do you get competitive with them?" Tua asks.
"Sure we always push each other to do better but you never let that get in the way of your friendship." Jamaal says.
"Are you guys a team?" Darren asks as Ish looks at everyone before nodding at Ricky and looking back at the NFL players.
"Yea we are a team and pretty good friends too." Ish says as the Kansas City Chiefs rusher appears on his N.F.L.R.
"I need immediate back up at the south end of the stadium. Code blitz! Repeat code blitz!" The Kansas City Chiefs rusher says before he goes off the N.F.L.R.
"What's that all about?" Darren asks.
"Um we've got to go but good luck tomorrow." Ash says.
"It was nice to meet you both." Alexis says as the group take off and transform around the corner heading to the south stadium.
*Timeskip*
"You got here just in time guardians. It's draining our mega core." The Kansas City Chiefs rusher says as the group arrive to see the blitz bot drop him and begin to drain the mega core.
"So that's what happened to the Raiders. It can drain power." Ish says as the group begin to blast at the blitz bot.
"It absorbed our blasts!" Troy shouts seeing their blasts are doing nothing.
"We gotta try something else. Defense engage!" Ash shouts as she tries to defend the mega core only to get sent back against the wall and onto the ground.
"Ash!" Alexis shouts as she runs over to her with Ricky.
"I got this. Super size!" Tua shouts as he tries to attack the bot only to get blasted by the ray and left on the ground before the others try to drag it away from the vault only for them to be picked up by it as they continue to try to fight it.
"Whatever it's doing to the mega core it's doing to us too." Ish shouts as he and Marty are being drained of their energy.
"Took you long enough to figure that one out." A voice says revealing to be Drop Kick.
"Leave them alone!" Ash shouts as she, Alexis, Ricky, and Tua start blasting at him.
"Enough! Finish them! Go ahead and struggle. The more you do the more energy you make for me." Drop Kick says as Alexis and the others are soon grabbed by the blitz bot before being dropped on the floor as they power down.
*Timeskip*
"We can't just give up. Drop Kick said he was gonna destroy the world. We have to stop him." Ash says as she leans up on the medical board in the H.O.D.
"We can not allow him to win." Alexis says as she slowly gets up.
"Your core levels are dangerously low. However there is enough power to restore core energy to one of you." RZ says as the others come to.
"I'll do it. I have to." Ish says as he lifts his head up.
"There's no way we're sending you out there alone." Ricky says.
"That's not happening Ish." Alexis says as she looks over at Ish.
"I could recalibrate your shields to a different frequency." RZ says.
"Even with the shields how can one guardian even at full power possibly win?" Ash asks.
"What if it were two guardians sharing the power?" Ish asks as he goes over to Ricky.
"RZ I think it's time to bust out that new scuba mode you been working on." Ricky says.
*Timeskip*
"You guys better take these. It's almost game time." Ricky says as the group gives the teams back their mega cores.
"I'll see you on the field buddy." Darren says as he fist bumps Jamaal.
"You sure will." Jamaal says as he, Darren, and the rushers leave.
"I believe there were something else you guys were supposed to bring back." Marty says as he and the others walk over to Ish and Ricky.
"I don't know. Feels pretty good to have all that power." Ricky says.
"But I'd rather have my team mates any day." Ish says as he and Ricky hold hands with the others.
"Enter the rush zone!" The group shouts allowing the energy to go back to its rightful owners.
"The core! It's back." Ash says.
"Oh yea. Thanks guys you did it!" Marty shouts happily.
"Just in time to catch the game." Troy says.
"So is anyone gonna explain what was up earlier with Ish and Ricky?" Alexis asks.
"Don't worry about it. It was just a little disagreement between friends." Ricky says.
"Yea needless to say it's all good now." Ish says happily.
"Now let's go catch the game!" Troy shouts as the group runs out to watch the game.
