A/N: They truly never stop, I'm beginning to think I have a serious problem. But as long as someone reads them I will keep writing them so here are the next few fledgling plots for our VK characters. Mostly hetero pairings in here for once (shocking I know but hey straight pairs are cute too, not everything needs to be gay) and some more uncommon pairs. I won't lie I'm actually kind of looking forward to a couple of these maybe even a bit more than some of the ones in previous chapters. I hope you enjoy them as well even if they're not your traditional cup of tea and please let me know what you think if you have the time! Trigger warnings are labeled per segment so please read the bold! Specifically, on number 91, I start out with some abuse stuff so read with caution for your own sake please, and thank you all again for showing interest in these little cliff-hanger plots! I enjoy giving all of my fanfictions the chance to be shared even if some of them are absolute trash or need to be re-done. As always, my discord is alive and if you would like to join me over there to see some art, learn more about some fics I'm not focusing on, get updates, etc. my link is in my profile description, I'd love to chat with you. Thanks again and please enjoy! ~Len

Number 85: Inhuman Desire (another ZeroxShiki one with a one-sided TakumaxShiki maybe? I don't know why I've been obsessed with these two so much lately? Regular VK universe and all that maybe with some added in stuff but we'll see. SMUT warning, NSFW stuff. This short will essentially be a summary, not a real teaser)

After an incident during crossover involving an unexpected projectile in which Shiki gets saved by a certain silver-haired hunter, he can't keep that scent of gunmetal and spring water out of his head. The normally apathetic noble is thrown into his own personal hell as he attempts to control his feelings. After a particularly vivid dream that leaves Shiki wanting more, he realizes that while he is inhuman he is certainly not immune to human emotion...or desire.

Number 86: Untitled (dystopian/apocalypse AU, Ichiru, and Zero are 14, night class ranges from 17-20, Yuki is 7 but largely irrelevant. I don't have set pairings and this is the basic "back of the book" summary)

Now turned government refugees, Kuran Kaname, and his most loyal followers are in hiding in a desperate attempt to survive the overpowering force of the Hunter's Association. As vampires are sought out to be eliminated at all costs he calls on an old friend, a former legendary hunter turned ex-hunter that is willing to give them much-needed support. However, when the man shows up to their run-down building with two kids, one unconscious from a bullet wound and one with an attitude to rival, he has some questions about how they were going to help. Kaien assures the group these two are invaluable assets, and they were going to have to get along if they all wanted to make it out alive. A task that would prove much easier said than done.

Number 87: Where Your Loyalty Lies (ZeroxSeiren pairing, there's not a lot of fics with these two out in the world so why not add a fun one? This one is more plot-intensive with a slow relationship development. Forgive me if it's not amazing since I don't really work with these two a ton)

"I was loyal to the hunters once," taking a moment to survey the vampire in front of him, her normally pale eyes blazing crimson as he let go of her wrist.

"You? Loyal?" she scoffed, but he remained emotionless to her tone. Blood reaching its boiling point she grabbed the dagger from the wall. "You don't know the meaning of the word." she hissed, then lunged...

Number 88: Not Supposed To (another ZeroxSeiren but this is going to be a short, already established relationship without a huge amount of plot or brainwork involved and it's a bit sad so I'm sorry about that lol)

They were opposites, one revered for her loyalty to the Kuran name, a powerful silent power that walked in his shadow. The other scorned by some and idolized by others for his inability to be tamed by any. Their paths were never supposed to cross, she only answered to her leader, he answered to no one. Yet, here they were. "Why are you here, Kiryu," direct, harsh according to some, she wasn't going to bend to his glares or shy away from the challenge that the silver-haired man in front of her carried with him like a brand.

"You tell me, you called me here didn't you?" it was a fake question, they both knew the answer. Jaw set she stepped back from him, arms crossed, she didn't trust him. Or, at least, she wasn't supposed to. Glancing around she made sure they were alone before tugging at his sleeve, he followed without protest as she pulled him down the hall and into the back gardens. Strategically she avoided any windows or open areas in case anyone else was still awake in the mansion and could see them.

"I didn't think you would come," if the confession caught him off-guard she couldn't tell, he wore a mask of stone similar to her own. It was part of their jobs, the lives of many relied on that unbreakable facade. He didn't speak until they were hidden in the trees that surrounded the Kuran mansion, only the smallest of rays made it through the canopy above.

"Because I'm not supposed to, right?" his tone dry, she nodded just enough for it to be noticeable, breathing in that familiar scent of metal and fresh bamboo as she leaned into him. Strong arms encircled her, keeping her pinned against years of hard-earned muscle, she relished the warmth that came off of someone normally so cold. Her stomach burned with a mix of anger and relief, relief that he was here, that he held her, and anger that they couldn't be public. She would never have happiness like the princess, like Rima, or Shiki. It wasn't fair. A sleeve pressed against her cheek, soaking in the hot liquid salt, she hadn't realized she started crying.

"You're not supposed to..." she repeated, choking on her words as the mask she kept so perfect, broke. Zero pulled her further into the woods, lest they be heard by any prying ears before he tipped her chin upwards to stare into those pale violet hues glistening with unshed tears. Emotion, no matter the cause, looked good on her. But they didn't have much time left. Brushing away the remaining water from her cheeks Zero closed the gap between them. Despite her normally hard expression Seiren's lips were soft and delicate, she was like a glass sculpture always on the verge of falling off the shelf. Zero was the feather that tipped her over and watched her shatter into pieces. She broke away slowly, her cheeks still holding a tint of color that stood out against her pale complexion. A beautiful rose petal red.

"But for you, I did," he whispered on her skin, making her shiver and press further into his chest. He did. He would always come when she asked, no matter the night, no matter his missions, no matter what anyone said he would come. And she? She was never supposed to fall in love. Yet, after all her years of being the perfect Kuran shadow that never held a sliver of care for the world around her, she did. For him she did. Even if she wasn't supposed to.

Number 89: Perfect Stone (ZeroxRuka, a pair that literally no one ever asked for ~aha~ but hey I think they need some limelight too. It's only fair! Ruka might be a taaaad OOC every now and then but I had to make her a little dynamic somehow. Also will contain some trigger warnings later on)

'Imbeciles, all of them!' Souen Ruka seethed, she was not childish enough to storm down the hallways or slam doors like a certain blood monkey in her class but she was irritated enough to lock herself in her ensuite bathroom to angrily comb out her hair. Aido Hanabusa, her annoying, useless, childish, idiot of a cousin had let his last test tube substance explode into her once perfect hair. She was going to murder him when she got the chance but at the moment it was more pertinent she fix the disaster her hair had become before anyone important saw her or word got back to her father. Those that dared laugh at her would also get punished. How dare they laugh at her, at a Souen! "Ah!" she hissed as the brush pulled painfully through the hardening goo until it stopped, completely lodged in the knot. For a moment she didn't know what to think, staring dumbfounded at her hideous reflection, she couldn't be seen like this. Laughter would be heard for miles, she would tarnish her reputation and, more damaging, her family name. Panic began to set in, the burn of embarrassment flushed her cheeks and shortened her breath as tears welled behind stone-cold rose hues. The whimper left her lips, arms curling around her waist protectively, she sank to her knees.

Number 90: Untitled (This will probably not be a huge favorite because if you're on this page you probably don't like Yuki, I also think she is the most annoying/cringe character to watch and the most boring one from a writing perspective. However, if I'm going to say I write for all pairings that's what I am going to do. So this is a college AU YukixYori pairing, a short fic other VK members will be included I'm just not sure how or where yet)

"Oof! Sorry!" Yuki's books went flying as she ran into the body coming from the other direction. Looking across the hall she spotted a short honey-brown-haired girl rubbing her head where it came in contact with a notebook. "Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going," Yuki tried again, shoving as many books into her bag as she could before reaching out a hand to the other girl.

"It's alright, it happens," the smile was as gentle as her voice, the smaller stood up and brushed off the dirt from her stockings. "You must be new around here, I don't think I've seen you in the dorms before." she continued after a moment of thought.

"I just started this semester, I haven't really moved in yet, oh! I'm sorry, I didn't ask your name! I'm Cro-er, Kuran Yuki," she fumbled trying to find the right words and remember her manners, bowing politely she flushed as she heard the jingle of laughter from the other. 'Like a bell,' the chocolate brunette thought straightening herself.

"Wakaba Sayori, I'm a second-year here and I help monitor the freshmen dorms, I need to get to a meeting but if you need anything my room is in D hall, number six. Have a good day, Kuran Yuki," Sayori smiled, smoothing out her skirt once more before stepping inside the elevator she had been waiting for with some auburn-haired boy. Yuki waved, too embarrassed to say anything, as she forgot all about the class she was late for.

'Wakaba Sayori,' she smiled to herself, maybe she wasn't going to be as friend-less as her brother's friend teased. She could make it, college was going to be no problem! Skipping back down the hall to her room Yuki ignored the strange looks she got from several other occupants.

Number 91: Untitled (another college AU because I think college stuff is fun to write for and why not? KanamexZero pairing here, not already established because it starts with an OCxZero pairing. Trigger warning: emotional domestic abuse, physical domestic abuse, non-con sex, and language; if that's not going to sit well with you then don't read this please!)

"Stop. Stop it!" the hand that was slapped away came back again, harder this time, digging into his side. He was able to muffle the gasp when those nails made themselves known to his already previously tender skin but couldn't hold back the whimper from them getting dragged down to his hip. He wanted to pull away, he wanted nothing more than to leave. Bolt back to his apartment and lock himself in the bathroom, but he couldn't.

"Come on now, it's just a date, you do remember you promised to spend the day with me after spending all weekend with that useless whore." the voice from above was a demanding low growl, no matter how many times Zero said he was just out for the weekend studying for a partner project he wasn't believed. He didn't really know the person in his writing class but he was determined to get the project done last weekend regardless that the other was just as determined to host a weekend beach party.

"You don't need to do this..." he gasped out as he was shoved into the dirty room his boyfriend occupied and the door slammed behind them. Hand immediately clutching his side he felt a small amount of liquid seep into his shirt. He knew better than to wear anything but black for this very reason. His boyfriend was often relentless, the person he fell in love with shortly after high school had given way to something akin to a monster as soon as they were in their sophomore year of college.

"I do, you need to learn your place." Zero searched in those glaring eyes for some hope that there was a shred of sanity left as pain bloomed in his kidney where a knee landed, doubling over he coughed, desperately attempting to catch his breath.

"Please don't!" the smaller male begged, pulled up from the floor by his collar and roughly pinned against the wall he was unable to fend off the bruising kiss or the teeth that bit his lips open making them bleed. Then he pulled back, Zero barely had enough time to brace himself for the slap that echoed in the room. Knowing better than to cry out the silver-haired young adult tilted his head down so he didn't have to look at his lover. It would be over sooner if he just kept silent and endured.

It was getting dark and Takuma was beginning to worry, his roommate had yet to come home and he knew Zero had early classes tomorrow. Although he appreciated being able to spend quality time with his own boyfriend, who was currently munching on sweets Zero left out for them, he couldn't get himself to relax. Checking his phone every few minutes in case the silverette had texted, looking out the windows to see if Zero's bike was back or not, he paced around the room until he was finally stopped by Shiki's hand catching his own and pulling him back onto the couch. "You're going to make yourself sick," he mumbled out, he knew why Takuma was worried, Zero rarely left the house when he didn't have classes and when he did come home late he always let the blond know ahead of time. They hadn't heard from him in a couple of hours now which was unlike him.

"I need to know where he is, Shiki, what if he's in trouble? What if he had an accident? What if...what if..." he didn't dare finish his sentence, fearing if he said it aloud it would become a reality.

"Where did he say he was going today?" the auburn-haired male questioned, his normally lazy nature growing concerned when Takuma crossed his arms and a look of disgust came over those bright eyes.

"He said he promised to spend the day with Kole since he had been away all weekend working on a project with a classmate. I swear if that thug did anything-" again he cut himself off, taking a second to collect his emotions when Shiki's arms circled his torso. Nagari Kole was someone he hated, and Takuma was not one to hate, but that man...no, that monster deserved to rot in a prison cell and Takuma would gladly throw the keys somewhere no one could find them. Zero never confessed to being abused, he never let Takuma help no matter how much he begged to get involved. There wasn't anything he could do if Zero wasn't willing to agree to it but it was beyond infuriating watching his friend hide obvious bruises or flinch away from normal physical contact. He knew Kole was controlling, he sheltered Zero on purpose and only let him loose for a day when he was promised the smaller would come back to him. Shiki, like most people in Zero's circle, had never met Kole nor had he ever seen the aftermath of one of Zero's evening's with him but he had been told enough by Takuma to know why his boyfriend hated him so much. "I will kill him one day," the defeated sigh that came from above was a testament to how tired of this Takuma was becoming. Tired of watching, tired of not being able to do anything, tired of being helpless to someone that he was supposed to be the best friend of. Shiki could only hope Zero would come around and let him do something. The sound of a bike bulling up to their apartment had Takuma flying off the couch and to the door faster than a bullet, yanking the piece of wood open just in time to see the younger stumble up the steps toward him.

"Takuma? I forgot to text you...didn't I. Sorry," he was apologetic as always when he came home from Kole's, as though he was saying sorry for more than just not texting, the tired glaze over once soul-seeing amethyst eyes stopped Takuma from lecturing him. Instead, he slowly took in Zero's physical state, outside of the fresh bitemarks poorly hidden under his shirt collar there were a series of bruises on his face, his lips were bloody and his hunched posture implied it was taking a lot of energy out of him just to stand there.

"I'm just glad you're home, let's get you cleaned up, okay? Shiki's still here but he won't mind," he promised, carefully taking Zero's hand and guiding him in the door. Shiki was still on the couch, unsure of what to do as Takuma helped Zero out of his coat and pulled him toward the bathroom. "Shiki, will you fill a bowl with some lukewarm water and grab a hand cloth from the closet?" he heard come from the room soon after.

Number 92: Untitled (haa~ I have no clue where this one is going, no pairings established, nothing really definitive at all actually and I'm not even 100% positive whose perspective I'm writing from so it might change but here ya go anyway. Restaurant/waiter AU perhaps? It'll probably end up a KanamexZero but I'm not sure yet)

"What did you say this was? It's so smooth, I might need to buy a bottle,"

"It's a plumb sake infused with some jasmine, they tend to be of the smoothest ones we have. You are also in luck, we have a sale going on, a bottle is ¥24,000 for the week." she smiled, collecting the empty dishes from their table. Kaname mulled it over, it wasn't anything more than pocket change, and it was along the lines of flavors his mother liked so why not. When the waitress came back through he caught her attention.

"I decided I would like a bottle if you will, then I will take my check," he smiled, the million-dollar Kuran smile that made anyone in the area stop and stare. He was a wealthy businessman, younger than most as he was only twenty, but well versed and successful in what he did. The Kuran name was a notable one, you either had to be clueless or stupid to challenge it, which made going through life far easier than the average citizen but he rarely paid attention. He couldn't control what he was given. As he was packing up his things a man rushed in the doors, uniform in hand he shared a few words with the head waitress before disappearing into the back. Kaname paid little attention to the commotion but couldn't help overhearing some conversation as he paid.

"Zero-kun sure is taking on more shifts lately," a passing waiter mused to another, normal co-worker gossip Kaname assumed.

"Mm yes, I don't know why though, maybe he just needs some extra cash. The holidays are coming up after all." the senior replied with a shrug as the man reappeared from the back room. Kaname couldn't help but notice him like a beacon of light walking through the room amongst so much black and dark blue. That silver hair stood out more than anything but he found himself staring just as much at the snow-white complexion tinted with a hint of pink from his rushing around.

"I heard something happened back at the estate, not sure what it was but he's been avoiding going home every night since last week," another joined in before the tall male got within earshot and they busied themselves with other conversations. Kaname watched this curious creature for a few more moments, it wasn't his business what the man's troubles were or what was going on but he couldn't help but want to know just a little more. Then he would be satisfied and could let it go.

A/N: Not much to say at the end of these, as per usual they're just my passing ideas that I form in my head and they don't go away until I write them down. They actually drive me a bit insane because I can't focus on the stories I need to be finishing if one of them is really prominent. I am working on chapter 11 of MNIZ and maybe I'll post another short fic on the side to give you guys something else to read in the meantime if that's okay with you. Some of these I'm really looking forward to writing. Anyway, please let me know your thoughts, comments, what you liked, and what you don't. Should I focus some more on some non-gay pairings? Or non-traditional LGBTQIA+ characters? Is that something that would interest people if I wrote about it? Maybe some trans characters, some other lesbian couples, things like that? Please let me know your opinions or suggestions if you have some! Have a wonderful evening/day and always remember to keep writing, keep reading, and live creative! Until Next Time! ~Len
