Caroline's eyes came to open again.
Trees crackled and fell around her, she could feel a burning, searing, heat wave across her face and arms, from the burning flames that scorched the Earth around her. She breathed in, it was hard to do, the air here was thin.. tight.
Blazing.
Smoke clouded the sky above her, orange surrounded the world around her. It was as though Hell itself had opened up and released it's flame upon this world, death and destruction given form- with the only goal in its mind to obliterate all in its path.
Through the crackles of flame around her, she could hear the shouts and roars of the others, her new teammates and her old ones alike, trying desperately to stop the encroaching fire in it's tracks, trying with all of their hearts and souls to prevent it from destroying their town, their home, trying to save their own souls from the burning mass. The small town behind them, Arcadia Neo, lay blissfully unaware of the oncoming danger. She alone had to save it.
She took another breath... Her nerves steadying and steeling, her resolve building. She faced down the flames now, they were close, too close to Arcadia Neo, her home for so long. She couldn't let it get here, she wouldn't allow it to take so much from her!
..But she alone..
No, she alone could not stop it, that was true. But Caroline was not alone. Saranus, Shaun, Robbie, Mace. Even...
Andrea.
Together.. they may have a chance- No!
Together they had a chance to stop this.
She took a final breath... and charged into Hell. She had to find them. Do
or die.
Author's note: Heya.. I've been busy, huh? It's been over two years since this was last updated.
I'm sorry. Truly I am. I don't have an excuse other than my own selfishness and... maybe even my own laziness. But that stops here. Right now. Starting from today onward, I'm not going to keep being this way.

But if you are, consider this a hype chapter for what's to come this Episode. And consider it a promise.

Oh and.. as for whether or not this is canon.. Consider it a daydream on Caroline's part. She's picturing herself as the ultimate badass against the flames coming down, a pretty human thing to do, I'd say. We'll catch up with my cliffhanger next time.
