25. Chapter 25 - Angel Wings

Chapter25 – Angel Tears

Gohan, Natsu, Elfman and Coco stared down at Imitatia and Rancor. "Once again I have the advantage Saiyan. You can't take us both in this situation." The machine said. Gohan glared at the Hatchiyak before his friends stepped forward and stood beside him.

"He doesn't have to, cause he's got us!" Natsu declared.

"That's right! We'll take you both down together!" Elfman said.

"Let's do it!" Coco said.

"Thanks guys, but you should focus on defeating Mich-Imitatia and saving Lucy," Gohan suggested. "I'll take Rancor alone!"

"What is with everybody and wanting to fight by themselves?!" Natsu inquired. "If we work together we can beat em!"

"I appreciate it, but no! None of you would be of any help to me! You've seen what he can do and that's just a portion of his power; I'm the only one who can fight him right now!" Gohan said.

"Hate to admit it but Gohan's right, and a real man knows when he out of his league." Elfman said.

"We'd just get in his way, or get ourselves killed like the last time." Coco agreed. "I think we should leave it to Gohan."

Natsu growled before saying "Fine, guess the big guy's all yours kid." He then glared at Michelle and jabbed a finger at her. "If you and the metal freak don't wanna face a serious beatdown, then get out of our way!"

"I must admit I'm surprised to see you're still alive Natsu; the others told me you might've survived but I didn't believe them. But since you're here, I'll only say this once, if you refuse to leave me and my sister alone, then I'll be forced to take your lives!" Michelle warned.

"Don't threaten us!" Natsu replied.

"Jeez, first you trick us and now this! You're not the man I thought you were!" Elfman said.

"Let Lucy go this instant!" Coco demanded.

"You guys," Lucy said sadly. "Michelle please…"

"Don't worry big sister. I swear I'll keep you safe." Michelle said to Lucy.

"No way, she's coming with us!" Coco said.

"Since Gohan's taking on the big guy, me and Elfman will keep her distracted while you work on freeing Lucy!" Natsu said.

"You got it!" Elfman and Coco complied.

Gohan glared at the Tufflebot before asking "What's your angle here Rancor? If you wanted this world's destruction, you could've done that on your own. Even if they're controlling you, you could've found a way around it; instead you're doing everything you can to help the ones enslaving you! I don't understand!"

"Someone like you wouldn't understand it anyway, so there's no point in telling you my motives Saiyan!" Rancor sneered.

"Fine! Then I'm done asking questions!" Gohan said as he took a stance. "With the fate of the world and my friend's life on the line, it's time to get serious and finish what I started!"

"Then what are you waiting for Monkey?! Bring it!" Rancor said.

"You're able to use fifty percent of your maximum, which means even in my current state I can still destroy you!" Gohan declared as he charged at Rancor. He tried to punch the machine but Rancor sidestepped him and kicked him in the gut; Gohan cringed but then attempted to sock the machine in the face but he grabbed his fist before uppercutting him in the chin and sending him into the ceiling. As Gohan fell, Rancor phased next to him and punched him in the right cheek, causing him to fly into the wall. Gohan was then hit with an energy blast before falling to the ground on his hands and knees. "He's stronger and faster than the last time we fought," he thought before his eyes widen. "Don't tell me, another Oracion was already defeated?!"

"I can tell by that look on your face that you've noticed my power increase," Rancor said. "And it has! Now I'm able to use sixty percent of my full power! And that should be enough to crush you!"

Gohan surprised the machine by chuckling and then standing up to flex and massage his muscles. "Nice shots, those really got my blood pumping! Now…I'm ready!" he said as he spat out some blood and turned Super Saiyan.

"What was that?!" Rancor asked.

"Sorry about that, I need a good thrill before I got serious. Unfortunately, Michelle wasn't able to give me the rush I needed, so I had to take a few cheapshots from you to get warmed up!" Gohan then smirked as he took his fighting position. "So you've increased your power up to sixty percent? That means this'll be even more challenging than before, and you know how a Saiyan feels about challenges!"

"Heh! You're warrior race and its thirst for battle, it's sickening!" Rancor said. "And that is why I must eradicate you!"

"Then it looks like you've got your work cut out for you, cause I won't go down so easily!" Gohan said. The Demi Saiyan then rushed at the machine and kicked him in the face; he proceeded to punch the Hatchiyak but his blow was blocked by its right arm and the robot countered by hanpchopping the Saiyan away. Gohan recovered and backflipped off the wall before headbutting Rancor in the chest. The two then started trading blows, making the room shake as their fists collided and created shockwaves. The mages watched amazingly as the Demi Saiyan and the Tufflebot beat each other to a pulp before Natsu faced the enemy before him.

"Come on, we've got work to do ourselves! It's time to take these guys down and save our friend!" Natsu said. "Now let's go!"

"The three of you really think you can stop us even with our enhanced combat drug?" Imitatia questioned. "You're fools for daring to face us!"

Natsu ran towards Michelle as did Elfman as he removed his shirt while Coco hurried to the celestial mage. "Then I guess we're manly fools!" Elfman replied.

At the place where the Christina Advance crashed, Romeo, Kinana, and Juvia step out of the wrecked up a little scratched but unharmed. "Whoa, that was close." Romeo said. "Hey are you girls alright?"

"I'm fine Romeo," Juvia replied.

"I'm ok too." Kinana said as she glanced around. "Where are we?"

"Looks like we're right below the Zentopia Cathedral," Romeo answered while looking up. "And that floating fish must be the Infinity Castle!"

"Then we have to hurry! Our friends may need our assistance, and I long to be at my beloved Gray's side!" Juvia swooned. Without saying another word, the water mage rushed into the Cathedral, leaving her guildmates behind!"

"Juvia, wait!" Romeo called to the rain woman. "Come on Kinana, we've gotta follow her!" The fire mage noticed the purple haired girl seemed spaced out as she wandered around. "Uh Kinana?"

"The voice…its close…" the girl muttered as one of her eyes turned reptilian for a second. "I can hear it…it's calling to me,"

Romeo looked at Kinana for a moment then said "Well, then you better go find it. If you wanna know who's calling you, then you have to see them face to face. Juvia and I will catch up with the others."

"Thank you Romeo, this means a lot to me," Kinana said.

"No prob, just be careful." Romeo said.

"I will." Kinana assured as she went off on her own.

The Fire mage then looked up at the Infinity Castle with a determined look. "Hang on, Gohan and Lucy, I'm coming for ya! And you too, Michelle!" he said before rushing inside.

With Natsu and the others, the Dragon Slayer had jumped over the deceiver and shot out a torrent of flames from his mouth; Michelle easy evaded the attack and was confronted by Elfman with his Iron Bull arm. "Fight me like a man!" he shouted as he swung at her. She flipped over him and dropkicked him in the back, but to her surprise, he managed to grab her leg and toss her into the ground before he crashed into the stairs barely missing Coco.

"Hey are you guys alright?" Natsu asked his friends.

"I'd say that was eight points. Yeah, we're ok." Coco replied as she held onto Elfman's arm.

"You gotta be careful Natsu, she aim at your vitals and strike you with deadly accuracy!" Elfman warned. "Remember that's how she got you last time!"

"You don't have to tell me!" the Dragon Slayer replied.

"I find human bodies to be quite interesting; no matter brawny they are, all it takes is one blow to their vital organs and they'll be incapacitated by intense pain." Imitatia explained.

"Is that so? Well it's gonna take more than that to beat us!" Natsu declared.

"That's right! A real man is strong inside and out!" Elfman said as he appeared beside Natsu; the two mages started channeling a gold outline around their bodies. Imitatia raised an eyebrow but didn't take much thought into it.

"You're words are just that, words!" Imitatia said as she focused Ki into her right fist. "With Ki enhancing my magic along with my fighting style, one blow to your weak points and you're bodies will be paralyzed instantly! You'll be completely powerless!" She then rushed at the Fairies, intending to punch them with her Ki-empowered punch; Elfman quickly countered with his Iron Bull fist and the two punches collided, creating a shockwave. The sixth Oracion was shocked when the Take Over mage didn't budge an inch from her attack. "How did you do that?!" she inquired. Elfman didn't answer but grabbed Imitatia's wrist and threw her to Natsu; the Fire Dragon then started hitting the deceiver with a few combos of fire punches and kicks, sending her flying into the wall rely hard with a big dust explosion.

"Nice one bro!" Elfman complemented.

"Thanks, you too man!" Natsu said back. "Now let's go help Lucy!" The two turned to aid the Athlete and the celestial mage but were stopped when something struck them both in the back; they looked back to see Imitatia retracting her flower shield as she stepped towards them.

"I don't understand, the both of you seem much stronger than you should be. Your magic feels greater than before, and yet, I sense something else too." Imitatia said. "I see now, it's Ki. You've also added Ki into you magic, and it's boosting your power."

"Yeah, so what?" Natsu asked.

"If you have this power now, then so does the rest of your pathetic friends; and the only way to get it is from our Combat drug. You must have gotten your hands on some of the experimental ones in an effort to even your chances against us." Michelle theorized.

"Heh! Sounds like you're just deceiving yourself!" Natsu laughed. "But the truth is we got our Ki boost from a different source! And now, we're gonna use it to beat every single one of you demons!"

"Wow! This Ki and Magic things looks really cool! I wish I could try it!" Coco thought.

"I don't know what other source you could've gotten Ki from, but honestly I'm glad that you did." Imitatia admitted.

"Oh yeah? And why is that?" Elfman asked.

"As I said before I have an interest in human bodies, so I believe it'll be even more satisfying to use my new powers to crush yours and inflict even greater pain on you!" the deceiver said as she brought out her rose blade.

"What's with you?! You're nothing like the ditzy crybaby we used to know!" Natsu stated.

"That was just an act to infiltrate your guild," Imitatia replied. "As I told you and the Saiyan, my name is Imitatia! I'm a member of the Neo Oracion Seis!"

"You know, we met someone else who tried to infiltrate our guild just like you did, a guy named Mest Gryder." Natsu points out. "Even after we found out he was a council spy called Doranbolt, we still call him Mest because of his close friendship with Wendy!"

"Believe me, we know all about Doranbolt, and let me tell you, not to compare me with that pathetic spy!" Imitatia retorts. "He couldn't keep up his façade because of his feelings for the Sky Maiden, and that was a rookie mistake that nearly got him killed! That's why I'm nothing like that failure who let his emotions blind him from completing his mission!"

"Shut up! I'll make you pay!" Elfman shouted as he jumped at her and transformed his right arm into the Jetblack Sword; he slammed it down on the Oracion, the ground beneath her cracks but she is unharmed since she blocked it with her shield. She then strikes the white haired mage with her sword, but this leaves her open to an attack from the Dragon Slayer.

"I CAN CAUSE SOMEONE INTENSE PAIN TOO YA KNOW!" the Son of Igneel shouts as he punches Imitatia with his Fire Dragon Iron Fist, sending her flying into wall which smashed as a result. "How do ya like that?!"

Coco pulls in Lucy but she can't seem to free her. "You're really stuck in there!" she states before she noticed something. "Hey, what happened to your keys?"

"Midnight and Lapointe took them…when they captured me," Lucy answered.

Imitatia steps back towards the men with her body a little crooked. "You can attack all you want, but even with Ki enhancing your blows, my body doesn't feel any pain!" She tells them. "There's absolutely nothing you can do to make me forget my mission! In other words I will not be fazed by ridiculous human emotions!" Her statement seemed to surprise Coco and Lucy.

"If emotions are so ridiculous, then how do you explain that look in your eye?!" Natsu questioned.

"What look?!" Michelle asked back.

"Don't play dumb! People who fight for something they believe in, even the bad guys, always have some kind of brightness in their eyes!" Natsu explained. "It's different than that spaced out look you've got right now!"

"How would you know?!" Imitatia questioned.

"Are you making any progress up there Coco?!" Elman asked the Athlete.

"I'm pulling but she won't budge!" she replied.

"You're trying to confuse me, but my heart is unwavering! I'm doing this for my big sister!" Michelle declared.

"Is that so?! Ain't that a coincidence, the same goes for us!" Natsu replied as ignited his fists and slammed them together. "You know, Happy's got a theory! And if he's right, we gotta defeat you if we wanna save Lucy! So guess what? You're going down ya phony!"

"Oh really, that's a nice plan. Too bad it'll just make things worse for you." Michelle said.

"What's that suppose to mean?!" Natsu asked.

"You mean the Saiyan didn't tell you? I'm surprised since he knows, perhaps he doesn't share your faith at all," Michelle said.

"Hey Gohan, what's she talking about?!" Elfman asked. The Saiyan and the Hatchiyak passed from their battle to hear Imitatia's words.

"You hope to break our seals so that we'll no longer have possession of the clock, isn't that right? Well, if you do defeat us, you'll also remove the seal we have on Rancor; and when that happens, he'll have access to his full power again." Imitatia revealed shocking the mages. "You see, this world is coming to an end, one way or another. The question is, which horrific ending do you prefer?"

"Damn it! She's hoping to prevent them from freeing me!" Rancor thought as he shook with anger. "She wants to give the Saiyan time to beat me and to ensure that their plan succeeds over mine!"

"There's no way! You're just trying to deceive us again huh Miss Deception!" Natsu accused.

"Resorting to lies and tricks in a fight isn't very manly!" Elfman said.

"Is she telling the truth Gohan?" Coco asked.

Gohan nodded. "Yeah, she is." He answered. "Two of the Neo Oracion Seis are already gone, so now he can use 60% of his power. Once they've all stopped fighting, he'll be at full strength again."

The mages eyes grew wide from hearing that. "And when his power is restored, he'll undoubtedly eradicate all of Earthland. Nothing will be able to stop him." Michelle said. "So if you defeat us, you'll just unleash and even greater evil on the world."

"Damn it! What are we suppose to do then?!" Natsu asked angrily.

"Isn't it obvious?! Defeat her and the other demons and save Lucy!" Gohan yelled.

"But Gohan, what about…" Coco asked before she was interrupted.

"I knew before now that defeating his masters would release his true power, but I didn't tell you cause I didn't want you to think that this was the same thing Samuel was talking about; that you'd have to sacrifice one life for the sake of others!" Gohan said. "If I can't beat Rancor before he reaches full power, then I'll just have to beat him while he's a 100%! Let me worry about Rancor, you guys just do what you can to save Lucy!" With that said, the Demi Saiyan charged at Rancor again, and resumed his fight with him.

Natsu and Elfman smirked at Michelle, who looked a little surprised. "What's the matter?! Surprised?! Guess you are fazed by ridiculous emotions after all!" Natsu said mockingly. "Looks like we're back to old plan T- Take em by storm!"

"Do you seriously believe that Saiyan can defeat Rancor?!" Michelle inquired. "Aren't you worried about setting free that monster?!"

"Nope! Cause Gohan put his faith in us, so we'll do the same, and believe that he'll defeat that pile of scrap metal no matter what! Which means, we gotta defeat you too!" Natsu said.

"Let's do this Natsu!" Elfman yelled. Imitatia braced herself as the Fairies charged at her full frontal assault.

"Fire Dragon Roar!" Natsu yelled as he used his breath attack.

"Manly Attack!" Elfman exclaimed.

The fire breath soured at the Oracion but she blocked it with her flower shield. "Heat doesn't faze me either!" she said. The Salamander turns up the heat, and Imitatia buckles before being pushed back a bit til the flames die out.

"Manly Take Over! Belcusas!" Elfman shouted as he leaped over Imitatia and transformed into a beast; the deceiver reacted by launching numerous vines at the beast man but he destroyed them with a lightning attack; while she was stunned, he charged at her and threw multiple lightning powered punches at her. Imitatia took a few of them before using her shield to block the attacks. Every blow that made impact caused the ground beneath them to shatter; after the final punch Michelle swung her sword at the beast and Elfman caught the blade with his bare hands. He soon found himself entangled in numerous thorned vines from the Oracion. "What the?! What's she doing to me?!" Elfman asked before he roared in agony.

"A shock from my Cilice can cause excruciating pain!" Michelle said.

"Fire Dragon Brilliant Flame!" Natsu roared as he created a giant ball of fire and threw it down on Imitatia; the attack had no affect on the sixth Oracion and the Fire Dragon soon found himself ensnared by the cilice and screaming in pain.

"I can't believe you'd betray your sister, all for a stupid mission!" Coco said as she ran across the wall to join the fight. She jumped and tried to kick Michelle many times but they were blocked by the flower shield.

"What mission?!" Michelle asked before striking Coco in the abdomen with her shield.

"Coco!" Lucy cried.

"I couldn't care about the orders I've been given or fulfilling meaningless tasks! I follow my heart and nothing more!" Imitatia declared. "It may be filled with pain and sorrow, but that heartache is what compels me to fight! Magic is all about heart, and the power of my determination is second to none! My hearts yearns for Lucy's safety and that any threats to her life must be wiped out!"

"But can't you see that you're endangering her now?!" Natsu asked. "If you keep this up, you won't have a sister to protect anymore!"

"Silence! I won't allow you to deceive me like you did her!" Imitatia declared as she swung her sword at the Salamander. "I'm the only one who can keep her safe!"

"We'll see about that!" Natsu said as he evaded her slashes and charged at her with flaming feet. "Fire Dragon Talon!" he roundhouse kicks which was blocked again by her shield; Natsu then jumped back allowing Elfman to advance with his right fist ready.

"Beast Arm, Stone Bull!" Elfman shouted as he changed his arm and smashed it into the ground, barely missing Imitatia. The eruption from his punch caused a boulder to fly up from the ground floor and Elfman punched it to the Oracion; Michelle destroyed it with her sword but suddenly gasped for air when Elfman's fist appeared in her stomach.

"Just cause you can't feel pain doesn't mean you don't need air to breath," Elman stated.

"Fire Dragon Flame Elbow!" Natsu roared as he socked Imitatia in the face sending her flying into the wall in a huge fiery combustion before she fell to the ground hard. Natsu and Elfman relive the moment of power they were able to display and become awestruck at their strength increase. "Oh man! This Ki stuff is so awesome! I can feel my magic power getting stronger each second!" Natsu cheered.

"Yeah! I feel manlier than I've ever felt before!" Elfman agreed.

"Wow! These guys are amazing!" Coco thought.

The male mages suddenly something and jumped back, avoiding an energy blast thrown at them; they look over to see Imitatia back on her feet with her hand stretched at them. Even though she couldn't feel pain, the damage was still visible, she had a bruise mark on stomach, her rose eye patch was burned black and her hair was scorched. But what was more astounding was her emotional damage; her spaced outlook was replaced by a livid one that was directed towards the Fairies. Her body started emitting a fiery red aura as rose petals shaped like butterfly wings appeared on her back. "I know I said emotions were ridiculous, but yours clearly hold power in them, and you've displayed that power quite well." Imitatia said. "Unfortunately, my heart alone holds even greater power than even the Neo Oracion Seis themselves! So prepare yourselves, cause the damage you gave me will paid back to you a hundredfold!"

"Looks like Michelle's ready for another round! How about we show her how real men fight with their emotions?!" Elfman asked Natsu.

"Oh yeah! We'll see who's emotions for Lucy are stronger! I'm all fired up now!" Natsu declared as he ignited his entire body. The entire room suddenly shook violently from the other battle taking place; with every blow blocked or landed, the shockwave quaked the room and made it crumble bit by bit. Rancor started firing multiple energy blasts at the Saiyan; he dodged all of them and fire one of him own. Rancor deflected it and launched another one which Gohan easily deflected. The Ki blasts flying around the made many medium explosions on impact; the mages had to quickly jump away to evade the attacks. Lucy however, could not do the same.

"LUCY!" Natsu, Elfman and Coco cried when a stray blast was headed right for her. Gohan quickly unleashed a kiai, blowing the blast away from the celestial mage and detonating it without harming her.

Imitatia frowned as the place continued to rumble. "This isn't good. The castle can't take much more of this! If they keep this up, the clock will be destroyed or Lucy will be killed!" She thought before she raised her shield with the six demons symbol which activated the seal on Rancor's chest, halting his assault against the Demi Saiyan. "Rancor, stop fighting inside the castle before you both bring it down! Take the Saiyan outside and finish him off!" she ordered the machine.

Rancor scoffed before grumbling "Fine." He then dashed at Gohan and grabbed him by the face before flying both of them through the wall and out the castle; Gohan placed his hands by his head and closed his eyes. "SOLAR FLARE!" He shouted as he released an intensive light that blinded Rancor and forced him to let go of the Saiyan.

"You made mistake brining me out here! Now I can fight you without worrying about my friends' safety!" Gohan said.

"Don't think this is your advantage Saiyan! Out here, no one can command me anymore, and I'm free to use as much power as I can to destroy you!" Rancor said. "And now that I know your friends have found a way to counteract the combat drug, it's only a matter of time til they break my seal and restore my full power!"

"Not if I shut you down first!" Gohan. The two powered up and clashed, beating each other while fighting against the clock.

With Erza, the scarlet mage charged at the Dragon Slayer but was blown away by his sound magic which caused her giant sword to shatter. "Nice try but you're out of luck Titania! My Ultra shockwaves can obliterate even the strongest of blades!" Cobra said when she fell to one knee.

"Can you still hear my thoughts?" Erza asked as she got up and summoned another large sword.

"All I can hear now, is that you plan to use your new power to defeat me!" Cobra answered as he raised an eyebrow when he discovered something. "Ah, so this new power you received is from the Ki given to you by another Saiyan and having it along with you magic amplified by one of the Indian Knights. This is why you've gotten stronger, and why your thoughts say you're going to win! You truly believe your new power can help you do that?"

"Yes! But until I've succeeded that's all you'll be hearing!" she said before jumping at the dark mage and bringing her sword down; just as it was about to reach him, Cobra released another sound wave that stopped Erza in her tracks. Her weapon was once again disintegrated and she was blown away from the Oracion.

"You know, even though I told you your new power won't make a difference in this fight, I'm very curious to see if you or your friends will undergo some kind of transformation just like some of us did once your new power fully takes effect." Cobra admitted. "Just what will you sacrifice to reach new levels of power?"

"My friends and I will never lose our humanity to acquire some transformation from mixing Ki with magic!" Erza retorts. "The Indian Knight Trio are proof that the two powers can be balanced without any sacrifices!"

"What false hope, it's quite amusing. By the way, how was Lieutenant Steelsoul's funeral?" Cobra chuckled. "I hope he liked the farewell gift I gave him after our fight. After I completed my mission, I heard his voice, begging you to end his life quickly, then it faded from my mind after he died. What a pitiful way for a knight to die."

Titania was shaking with rage at how satisfied Cobra seemed after assuming she had killed Hugo. "Lieutenant Steelsoul still lives! I did stab him, but I managed to bleed out the poison from his body, saving his life!" she revealed. "I would never so readily kill an ally when there's still a way to save them!"

"How ironic since I remember you asking your friends to do the same thing after we met seven years ago!" Cobra reminds her. "Now your thoughts are telling me that you intend to beat me to avenge that knight! But even he couldn't defeat me in my current form, what chance do you have?!"

"I won't know unless I try!" Erza answered as she summoned two more swords and blitz towards Cobra. She swung her blades at him but he blocked them with his wings; he then struck her with his tail, sending her flying as she lost her blades. She falls downward until she grabs onto one of the cubes in the room to stop herself; Cobra suddenly appears over her and stomps on her hand with his draconic foot making her wince in pain.

"Now I hear your desperation as you try to think of a way to overpower me, and that strong will of yours refuse to give up the fight!" Cobra comments. "I believe this the same arm that Cubelios bit into seven years ago; perhaps if I render it useless, you'll finally see how hopeless you truly are!"

"It seems your favorite sound is that of your own voice!" Erza stated as she slammed her other sword on Cobra's leg, only for it to shatter from the durability of his dragon scales. Erza was surprised but didn't show it as she spoke on. "Your magic doesn't frighten me! I can hear thoughts as well!"

"Is that so?!" Cobra asked as he knocked her onto another cube with an ultra shockwave.

Even after the hard impact, Titania still rose to one knee. "I can hear…the thoughts of my friends! They're saying that they refuse to lose and that I shouldn't give in either!" she said.

"I hate to break it to you but those are your own thoughts! You're so desperate to win that your mind is starting to play tricks on you!" Cobra denied her.

"You wouldn't understand!" Erza said as she stood up. "You're wrong! I know they belong to my friends because they're always with me! Their love and friendship is the source of my strength, it's what drives me! You have friends don't you? Can't you hear them in your heart?!"

Cobra glared at her. "I'm warning you, the more you talk the angrier I get!" he replied.

Erza charges at him again as she changes into her Flame Empress armor; she swings her sword at him and he blocks it with his forearm, not even the flames empowering her weapon can cut through his scales. Cobra counters by using a soundwave destroy her weapon before striking her in the gut with a poison punch, sending her flying out the room and the castle; she quickly changed into her Black Wing armor to help her land on one of the chains from the castle. She then dons her Lightning Empress armor as Cobra comes out to face her. "You're a stubborn one aren't you?!"

"I know what you went through at the Tower of Heaven, I suffered the same pain and anguish as you! What I don't understand is why you would want anyone else to suffer the same way!" Erza says.

"Are you referring to Real Nightmare?! I honestly don't care what happens with it!" Cobra admitted. "Here you are talking about other people suffering and yammering on about friendship, when I lost the only friend I ever had!"

"I knew you were hiding something from me! Step out of the shadows and into the light; it's the only way to free yourself from the pain you're feeling!" Erza shouts as she twirls her staff and fires massive bolts of lightning at the Dragon Slayer. Cobra easily evades her attack and swings his arms, nailing her with two waves of poison. Erza was blown onto another chain with the poison still burning against her cheek. Cobra flew down at her, dodging another lightning attack from her staff.

Cobra knocks her onto her back and steps into her chest with his talon. "Step out of the shadows and into the light?" Cobra repeats angrily. Titania fires another lightning at him but he tilts his head to avoid harm. "You could never understand," He holds up his poison claw and prepares to finish off the Fairy Queen when the two suddenly hear a loud sucking noise; Cobra turns around to see the Sky Dragon Slayer consuming Erza's lightning along with the air while being carried by her white exceed. "The Sky Maiden and her cat!" he exclaimed.

"Wendy?! What are you doing here?!" Erza asked. When Wendy finished sucking the Lightning, she yelled and entered her Storm Dragon Mode again. "That form…the Storm Dragon."

"See Carla, I told you I could do it again," Wendy said to her cat.

"That was very risky child! There was no way of knowing how you would've reacted to that lightning in your body!" the white exceed said.

"Well, I had a feeling it would work, and it did. Now please put me down," Wendy said. "Ok, now help Happy and Lily, I'll handle this."

"Alright then, be careful child. Both of you." Carla said before flying away.

Wendy then faces the Poison Dragon Slayer and glares at him. "You've changed girl and you've also gotten stronger, probably from the same way Titania did. Why don't you show me just what you can do kid?!" Cobra challenged the girl. Though he had just asked her to, he was caught off guard when Wendy dashed right in front and socked him in the right cheek with her fist; Cobra recoiled but shook it off and tried to punch the younger Dragon Slayer back but she was immediately protected by the Storm Mail. "This spell, it's Grim Reaper's!" Cobra said before he smirked. "I see, your thoughts tell me that you got this form while fighting Erigor, and that you defeated him before removing the spell cast on his mind!"

"You had no right to use him or the Archbishop like that! They're people!" Wendy yelled.

"They were pawns in our goal s were you, your guild even the Saiyan!" Cobra said. "We may have been pulling the strings, but all of you played a part in this world's end!"

"We won't let you destroy everything!" Wendy shouted.

"You people sure talk a lot! Let's see if you can back it up kid! Make this fight fun for me!" Cobra said before he flew at Wendy who flew at him; the two Dragons clashed in a mix of wind, lightning and poison. They traded blows creating sonic booms with every impact from their strikes.

Erza watched in awe as Wendy held her own against the Oracion. "Incredible, it's almost like I'm watching two Dragons fighting," she thought before smiling. "Wendy has truly become strong,"

Cobra the palm struck Wendy's barrier and let out an ultra shockwave, breaking her Storm Mail and sending her flying backwards. Wendy stopped herself on one of the chains and took a deep breath just as the dark mage was doing the same. "Poison Dragon Roar!" Cobras exclaimed as he used his venomously breathe attack.

"Storm Dragon Roar!" Wendy shouted using his breath attack to counter her opponent's; the two roars collided and pushed against each other before canceling out in a blinding explosion. Cobra shielded his eyes and opened them in time to see Wendy flying towards him with her right fist in wind sphere. "Storm Dragon Cyclone Fist!" she yelled as she struck him in the chin, uppercutting him into the heavens. When he was out of sight, Wendy took a few breathes before flying towards scarlet mage. "Erza, are you alright?" she asked.

"I'm fine Wendy," Erza said as she tried to stand but grasped her waist in pain; she moved her hand to see a mark where the poison had entered through her side as well as her cheek.

"You're hurt! I'll heal you quick!" Wendy said as she helped Erza sit down and placed her hands over her; she used healing magic to remove Cobra's poison. When she finished, she saw a red scaly spot on her waist and cheek where the poison used to be. "What is this?" she thought.

"Is something wrong Wendy?" Erza inquired when she saw her friend's confusion.

"No it's just…" Wendy started to say before she sensed something as did Titania; the two Fairies looked up and saw the Poison Dragon Slayer dive-bombing back towards them.

"Cobra's back! Wendy, get to cover! I'll handle him!" Erza instructed as she changed to her Giant armor.

"I'm here to help you, not run and hide!" Wendy insisted. "I can fight with or at least support you!" She placed her hands over Erza and chanted "Vernier!" A red sphere of magic appeared over Erza as her power was increased.

Erza saw the little Dragon's determination and nodded. "Alright Wendy, we'll do this together! Our friends are counting on us, let's not let them down!"

"Right!" Wendy complied. Erza placed her giant spear down and held her giant hand over to the Sky Maiden; Wendy jumped onto her palm and Erza tossed her into the air towards Cobra. The two Dragon Slayers flew towards each other with their fists ready, bumping them together when they clashed and creating a huge shockwave that shook the Cathedral.

"So there's only four of you left huh? Well I'm about to make it three!" Gray said as he removed his shirt which confused the dark mage he was going to battle.

"But why did you take your shirt off?" Angel asked.

"You gave me a good thrashing before but not this time! You'll be a real angel when I'm done with you!" Gray declared as he took hi ice stance.

"Oh how I hate stubborn men," Angel stated.

"Beating up girls isn't really my thing, but I gotta do this to save my friend!" Gray said. "This one's for Lucy!"

Angel wasted no more time and summons her angel of sunlight; the giant baby stomps and towers over the ice mage. "HELLO THERE! HOW'S IT GOING?!" he greeted.

"Oh man, not you again!" Gray said. "Ice Geyser!" The ice wizard placed his hands on the ground, sending a wave of ice shards towards the angel.

"AN ANGEL'S LIGHT IS LIKE A THOUSAND SUNS! SEE FOR YOURSELF!" Shamsiel giggled as the pigs in its hair released a devastatingly intense light that shattered Gray's attack.

"That was just a warm up! Try this!" Gray said as he created a bazooka out of ice; as he aimed it at the giant child, his body started emitting the gold outline from his Ki. "Ice-Make Bazooka!" He shouted as he fired Ki-empowered ice projectiles at Shamsiel; the attack hit the angel in the stomach which only seemed to make him laugh.

"HA, HA, HA! COME ON! THAT'S NOT BE ENOUGH TO HURT ME!" Shamsiel said. "BUT YOU'RE REALLY FUN, SO HOW ABOUT A HUG FROM A FRIEND?!" The giant creature ran towards Gray to hug (or crush) him. Gray immediately jumps up to the chubby giant's head, avoiding his grasp before kicking his face with an ice armored foot; Shamsiel was sent tumbling backwards from the attack when he stopped himself and Gray appeared right behind him with a giant sword of ice.

"Ice-Make Death Scythe!" Gray swung his blade towards the angel, slicing of its wings in one go; the giant cried out as a dark ichor started escaping the wing studs which confused the ice mage.

"OW! THAT REALLY HURT! SO THAT'S HOW OY WANNA PLAY?! ALL FUN AND GAMES TIL YOU HURT SOMEONE!" Shamsiel shouted. "WELL NOW I'M GONNA HURT YOU FOR SOME REAL FUN!" The giant child released his beam of light from his head at the Fairy; Gray dodges the attack and runs as the angel continues to fire more at him.

"I wasn't sure if I'd be able to hurt this guy alone, this Ki must really be boosting my magic power," Gray thought. "But it feels more than that, like that Breath of Bless is still inside me. Whatever remains of her spell must be helping me to take this guy out!" The student of Ur was cut off when the angel stomped right in front of him and grabbed him with both hands. "Damn it!"

"HA HA! GOT YOU NOW! LOOKS LIKE THIS GAME'S OVER AND I WIN!" Shamsiel said as he started to crush Gray. The Ice mage cried out in agony before turning to ice and shattering. "HUH?!"

"That was just a decoy, and now this game is over!" Gray said from behind the angel as he impaled it with the new Cold Excalibur enhanced with Ki. The angel dissipated instantly and four coins fell to the ground and faded away as Gray placed the ice blade on his shoulder. "But it looks like I win."

Angel gasped in pain from the drawback of her magic before falling off from where she was watching and collapsing onto the ground; she quickly gets back on her feet while taking heavy breaths. She brings out the enhanced combat drug and gulps a small portion of it down. "I refuse to accept defeat at the hands of a filthy mortal! Even if you have Ki to boost your magic!" Angel declared as she summons her wings and flew towards Gray at full speed.

"Ice Make Impact!" the ice mage exclaimed as he made an ice hammer to slam the Oracion; she surprised him by catching it with just one hand. However, Gray reacted by releasing the first ice weapon and made another bigger ice hammer, using it to smash the first hammer which Angel blocked with both hands making her knees buckle and the ground beneath her crack. Gray used that moment of hesitation to blitz in front of Angel with a gauntlet of ice and yelled "Ice Make Doomfist!" before striking the dark mage in the gut, forcing her to spit out blood and saliva and sending her flying right into the wall.

After crashing into the wall and wiping her mouth Angel held out two gold coins and announced "ANGEL OF THUNDER, RAMIEL, I SUMMON THEE!" bringing out the hammer wielding angel while firing a flurry of Ki blasts at the ice mage. Gray put up an ice shield to block the blasts which was strengthened by his Ki. This unfortunately, left him open to an attack from the angel of thunder; Ramiel came to attack the ice mage from behind with his hammer but Gray quickly placed his palm on the ground, creating his Ice Make Gungnir to spring from the ground and jab the angel of thunder, lifting him off the ground. Gray then holds up his left hand and shouts "Ice Make Mjolnir!" creating a small hammer and flinging it at the angel; the white haired mage quickly flew in front of her angel and kicked the small hammer back with double the force, hitting Gray with his own attack. The ice mage grunted from the hit but immediately shook it off and resumes his trademark stance.

Angel narrows her eyes as she sees that her enemy is still on his feet. "How did this human acquire such strength? It shouldn't be possible without the right sacrifice," She disregarded her curiosity and declared "I won't let some upstart heathen defeat a divine angel like myself just because you and you're friends have a Ki power up to even the odds! What could you have possibly sacrificed for this power?!"

"I didn't sacrifice anything for my new power; a friend gave it to me so that I wouldn't have to sacrifice Lucy to save the world from you guys!" Gray replied. "And for the record, you're not a freaking angel! You're a human being! Humans are suppost to care about others, isn't there someone you ever cherished more than yourself?!"

Angel's gaze softened as she recalled protecting a younger white haired girl from others; she quickly squashes the memory and mutters "My sister is gone, snatched by the heavens, as are my feelings." She then summons Ki into her hands as she prepares to attack again.

"You know, you're nowhere near as close to being an real angel like that Lady Solaseed; and even though she's got powers like that of an angel, but she keeps herself completely grounded cause she doesn't delude herself the way you do, not very angel like if you ask me." Gray snapped.

A vein appeared on Angel's forehead as she glared at the ice fairy. "How dare you compare my divinity to that phony angel who refuses to ascend beyond humanity!" she the fired a kiai that blew Gray into a wall. "My divinity is far beyond human comprehension! I refuse to allow a mortal to judge me; as an angel, I am to judge humanity!" Angel declared as she raised her hand and aimed it at the ice mage while preparing to end his life with an energy blast. "And it's time to pass your judgment!" She fired the attack at the fairy who didn't have the time to counter in order to save himself; suddenly, something jumped in front of Gray and fended off the blast before redirecting it back at the Oracion. Angel, though caught by surprise, crossed her arms to defend herself from her own attack. When it passed, her sleeves were burned away and her arms were a bit singed but the real damage was to her emotional state as she was even angrier than before. "Alright, who did that?!" she asked as she swept the dust away.

Standing before the ice mage was the reflector shield ricochet, and the wielder was known other than Dan Straight. "Your knight in shining armor has returned to you my darling angel!" the Legion knight announced. "I, Dan Straight am here to express my love to you!"

"Are you serious?!" Gray asked.

"You again?!" Angel asked before she was struck with a wave of water. "What now?!"

"I came here because felt something was wrong and I wanted to assist my darling, and now I see that he was alone with a pretty woman and he's even removed his shirt for her!" Juvia yelled. "I know my Gray is a wanted man, but how many love rivals will fate throw our way before we can be together?!"

"I remember her, she was at the tomb when we first acquired the infinity clock," Angel said. "How many more of these lowly creatures are going to stand in our way?!"

"Oh Gray, it feels my heart with such joy to be in your presence again!" Juvia stated as she ran to the ice mage.

"Oh Angey, the butterflies are filling up my stomach now that the red string of fate has bind us together again!" Dan said to Angel.

"Are you kidding me?! How the heck did you guys get here?! And why are you together?!" Gray asked.

"Oh no, my darling Gray has seen me with another man and now believes I've been taken from him!" Juvia cried worriedly.

"I can assure you buddy, I have no intention of claiming your territory; water babe's all yours." Dan said.

"I meant, why are you with each other?" Gray asked again.

"Juvia snuck onto the Christina advance before it left the guild hall along with Romeo and Kinana," the water mage explained. "After it crashed, we separated and I went straight to find you my dear!"

"Wait, Romeo and Kinana are here too?!" Gray asked to which Juvia nodded.

"I ran into Juvia on my way to stop the Neo Oracion Seis and reunite with my darling Angey," Dan took over explaining. "Although we feel no attraction to each other, we share a mutual understanding of our loved ones not loved ones not yet accepting their feelings but will soon by our unyielding passion and determination."

"Juvia was so happy when she made friend that seemed to understand her, we agreed to work together and made our way here to our beloveds." Juvia said.

"I can't believe I let you two lovesick goons save me," Gray muttered as he face palmed himself.

"If you fools are done, I'm going to destroy you all now!" Angel declared to her enemies.

"Ok Juvia, why don't you and Gray run along and work out your relationship so me and Angey can spend some alone time together. Sound good?" Dan said to the water mage.

"Oh yes!" cried Juvia.

"Do either of you guys even know what's going on here?! What about Lucy?!" Gray asked.

"I'm sure Natsu and Coco will figure out a way to help my ex somehow," Dan replied.

"So now she's your ex, you weren't even a couple before," Gray stated.

"I just talked to Gray and Juvia and they're both cool with us running away to be together," Dan said to Angel.

"That's the last thing I want," the dark mage replied.

"You can play hard to get but you run from love forever!" Dan said as he appeared beside the white haired mage. "If you just open your heart to me, you'll see how we can truly have a happily ever after! Now come on, our honey moon awaits!"

"You disgust me!" Angel spited as she slapped the knight away, making him fall to the ground.

"Talk about divine intervention," Gray said.

"Poor Dan," Juvia wept. "Love is hard,"

"You're vulgar, distasteful, and a complete waste of breath," Angel snarled as she channeled Ki into her right hand.

"She's playing coy. Just watch, she'll come running to me any minute now," Dan said.

"I admire your devotion Dan; no matter what, we must fight for our love!" Juvia encouraged him.

"Are you both really that clueless?" Gray inquired.

The Oracion raised her hand to the skies, sending her energy to the squired angel of thunder; Ramiel smashed the ice Gungnir and landed on the ground. There was a crack on its abdomen from when Gray jabbed it that was seeping out dark ichor before it was soon sealed up by it white flesh from absorbing Ki from its master. "Go Ramiel, wipe these disgraceful mortals off the face this earth!" Angel commanded her warrior. The Angel of thunder raised it hammer that sparked with lightning before slamming it to the ground, creating a shockwave that sent the good mages flying only for them to land back on their feet.

"Looks like it's time for round 2!" Gray said as he put his hands together. "Ice Make Crossbows! Rapid Arrows!" The Ice mage shouted out as he forged twin crossbows and launched multiple ice arrows at the angel. Ramiel used it hammer to smash away the ice projectiles while trying to hit Gray who jumped away and kept firing. "Alright you guys listen up, in order to save Lucy and stop the infinity clock we have to destroy the seals, and the only way to do that is by defeating the remaining four of the Neo Oracion! So anytime you guys wanna show you're not useless love creeps feel free to do so!"

"Yes my love, although Lucy is my love rival she is still my friend! Therefore, I will assist you in rescuing her!" Juvia said as she summoned her water. "Water Slicer!" the ex phantom mage launched several razor sharp blades of water at the giant.

"As a member of Zentopia's Legion Platoon, it my duty to stop what you're planning!" Dan yelled as he pointed his spear at Ramiel. "Just know, that I feel truly conflicted about attacking you my Angey!" The spearhead fired multiple magic blasts from his lance at the angel being; the continuous barrage of magical attacks bombarded the angel of thunder, his body started showing new cracks from the damage he was receiving but it persisted and continued to attack the mages. Ramiel brought its hammer down on Dan but he blocked it with his shield, allowing ricochet to deflect the strike and throw the angel off balance. "Your attacks won't get to me as long as I have the strength of love to wield ricochet!"

Gray and Juvia took this opportunity to rush at Ramiel; the ice mage appeared at its right and the water mage at its left. The angel of thunder reacted by firing bolts of lightning from its lower hands, striking the fairies down before they could get to him. "Heh, was that your best shot? The lightning from Laxus' thunder palace packs more of a punch than that little spark!" Gray commented as he got back up. "Ice Make Floor!" he exclaimed as he placed his hands on the ground completely covering it in ice; the angel slipped on the ice, allowing Juvia to get in close and slash its stomach with a water blade. The dark ichor bleed from the angel's wound as Dan jumped at it and used his Habaraki to shrink its upper right arm and lower left arm. Ramiel took his hammer in his upper left hand and began to spin it rapidly; a surge of lightning was summoned through the hammer before the angel fired it at the mages.

"Quick, get behind me you guys!" Dan yelled to the fairies who obeyed as he put up his shield again; the bolts of lightning struck ricochet and were once again launched back at the angel electrocuting it severely. The cracks in Ramiel's body were wider now and it became truly deformed. Juvia then acted by turning into water and striking the angel's legs, knocking it onto its back.

"You're finished!" Gray yelled as he jumped above the angel of thunder. "Ice Make Impact!" The ice mage created a large ice shard and sent it down at the white creature, piercing it and causing it to combust instantly and the gold coins that summoned dissipated.

Angel once again felt the sharp pain from her angel's death and grasped her chest as she released more dark magic before falling to her knees. "Curse you," she muttered before seeing both Dan and Gray pointing their magic spear and ice scythe at her respectively.

"Looks like we sent four armed freak you call an angel back to heaven!" Gray said. "And if you don't surrender now, you'll be next!"

"That's right…back to heaven," Angel repeated quietly.

"Please my love, just stay down!" Dan pleaded. "I assure you, I will do everything in my power to keep you safe if you stop fighting. We can work out our relationship afterwards, but now we have to save the world; and that means defeating you and your comrades by any means necessary. Please, don't let it come to that!"

To their surprise, Angel simply gave a small smile. "Do it," she said.

"What?!" the mages asked.

"You said that you have to defeat us by any means necessary right? Then go ahead, end this fight. That way, you can free the novice and my mortal life ends; we'll both get what we want." Angel said.

"That's not what I want! I spent my life searching for true love and I believe I've found!" Dan argued. "To ask me to do such a horrific act to the woman of my dreams, it's unthinkable. Please Angey, I can help, but not like this."

"I wasn't asking you foolish knight; however, this refusal proves that your love for me is nothing more than earthbound desire. Lust born from carnal desperation!" Angel declared to the knight before facing Gray and taking hold of the tip of his ice blade to aim it act her chest. "Go on, I want you to impale me."

"Say what? Have you gone insane?" Gray asked.

"You originally came to stop me and settle the score on your own and you have the power of Ki to strengthen your magic, now you have the chance to finish me for good, so do it." Angel requested again. "End this human existence so that I may vanish into the sky like an angel. I want it more than anything in the world." Despite her plea, the ice mage remained frozen, keeping the ice scythe pressed against her.

"Hold on now Gray!" Dan yelled. "You can't do this! I can't allow you to take the love of my life away from me! How would you feel if the woman you loved asked me to kill her in front of you?!" Gray still gave no answer; the legionnaire began to approach him before he was stopped by the water mage. "Juvia?"

"Gray my dear, I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do but if she refuses to surrender then we may have to kill her." Juvia said. "Just know, that whatever you decide, I'll stand by you."

"Juvia, how could you say that?!" Dan asked in hurt. "I thought we were friends!"

"We are Dan, and as your friend I want nothing more than for you to find the right woman girl who sees you for the amazing guy you are," Juvia replied. "But this woman isn't it. She's so lifeless, so dark; there can't be any room for love in her heart. I'm not sure she still has one."

"You're wrong! This doesn't have to end this way!" Dan shouted.

"Your friend is right. I gave up the feeling of love long ago to separate myself from humanity." Angel said. "All that's left for me now is to sacrifice my life to be a true angel. Please, I'm begging you; send me into the sky Shamsiel and the others! It's my wish; I want to be among the angels. When you grant my wish, this'll truly be a death scythe!"

"Gray, please don't," Dan begged.

"My love, this may be our only chance," Juvia said.

"As long I refuse to surrender the seal won't break; this is your only chance!" Angel stated. "Send me into the heavens!"

Gray still said and did nothing for the moment before finally muttering "No." and canceling out his ice scythe, surprising everyone one, especially Angel. "Geez, what the hell is wrong with you?"

"What's wrong, why can't you do it?" Angel inquired.

"No, I could but I don't wanna," Gray replied. "It just wouldn't feel right."

"Thanks pal, I appreciate it." Dan said gratefully. "Now why don't you just leave her to me?"

"Gray, why did you spare her?" Juvia questioned.

"You said that there was no room for love in her heart right? Well I think you're wrong," Gray said.

"What do you mean darling?" Juvia asked again.

Before the ice mage could answer, Angel's confused look changed into a dark smile as she rose back to her feet. "Very well, if you're not going to grant my wish then I'll have to destroy you!" she proclaimed. "COST THIRTY, I SUMMON TARMIEL OF THE OCEAN!" After holding up three gold coins, another angel appeared in a flash of light. This one was a very tall being with lean muscular physique, six wings and three heads. The one on the left was that of an old man with long beard, the one in the middle was a woman with sharp teeth and a menacing grin, and one the right was a youthful handsome face.

"Geez it's just one after another with this chick!" Gray complained.

"Go Tarmiel! Show these lowly humans what happens when they defy an angel's wishes!" Angel commanded. The giant obeyed by raising its hand and unleashed a huge blast of water that began destroying everything in its path.

Juvia stood in front of the men with an unimpressed look as she raised her hand towards the rushing wave. "Pathetic, do you truly believe that some pitiful excuse of a water angel can be a match for me? I am Juvia the Rain woman; they called me the mistress of the ocean back in Phantom Lord! I refuse to lose to anyone in the art of water magic! Water Nebula!" The water mage unleashed her strongest spell as a counterstrike; the two attacks clashed and pushed against each other for dominance. With the stalemate going on, Dan and Gray decided to use this chance to attack the angel from the sides; they jumped to strike, only to be blown away by roars of kiai that the left and right head released at them.

"How do you like my new angel? I added a little something more into this one." Angel said as she watched Tarmiel begin to gain the upperhand and slowly push Juvia back.

"I'll admit your angel is a lot stronger than I thought, but as long as my darling Gray is by my side, I will never fall to anyone!" Juvia declared.

"Ever since you've got here all you've ever spoken about was your love for that boring ice wizard! I bet even the divine could never understand how you could be devoted to such a man who shows more interest in other men than he does in his so called lady friend!" Angel said mockingly.

"H-Hey, wait a minute! First off, we're like that at all, and second I'm not into guys!" Gray shouted.

"Could've fooled me," Angel muttered.

Suddenly there was a dark aura that filled the air as the sky became clouded and heavy rain started to fall everywhere; everyone's attention was turned to Juvia who had blank red eyes and was gritting her teeth while gazing at the dark mage with a psychotic expression. "How dare you. HOW DARE YOU!" She screamed as a whirlpool started to form around her. "You dare to question my feeling towards darling Gray?! As yet another rival daring to stand between our love! I will personally wash away whatever love delusions in your mind!" she roared at the Oracion.

"You're the only one with delusions here," Gray muttered.

"Try not to hurt my Angey too badly Juvia!" Dan said.

"Sierra!" Juvia shouted as her intense emotionsempowered her magic, giving her the strength to overpower Tarmiel's wave; caught off guard by the water mage's sudden burst of power, Tarmiel could no longer hold the Sierra waves back was eventually struck with scalding hot water from the fairy. Juvia then used her wave to surf towards her opponent and strike it with multiple water enhanced punches.

"So, this is your true power, the waves of emotion," Angel speculated. "Impressive, but it's still not enough to best an angel's might!"

Tarmiel suddenly grabbed Juvia with both hands and threw her into the wall before sending a massive tidal wave towards her. It was surprised when Juvia in her water body form broke through the tsunami and kicked it hard in the middle face, shattering its sharp fangs in one go. "So this is Juvia's Sierra state that Erza mention," Gray thought as he watched his guildmate best the angel of the sea which made him quiver a bit. "Oh man, she looks even scarier than it was described."

"That's some babe you got there Gray. You're really a lucky guy." Dan pointed out.

"Huh?!" Gray asked.

"Dan, Gray, hurry! While I have it distracted, finish it!" Juvia instructed her love interest.

"What? Oh, right!" Gray replied, coming back to his senses and acted quickly; he formed two ice spikes, one on each elbow that turned blood red and charged at the angel. "Ice Blade, Seven Strike Dance!" he announced as he swung his blades at struck the white creature seven times. The angel of the sea fell to its knees just as Dan threw his Habaraki at the center face, making it expand til it popped; the angel then eroded in defeat which once again made the Oracion gasp in pain while releasing more dark magic from her body and her coins fade away. The Legion knight quickly retrieves his spear and the three mages ready themselves in case the Oracion summons another angel fighter; instead they stare at her and receive seething look on her face towards them.

"No matter how many angels I summon, you humans continue to slay them and send them to the heavens; yet you refuse to do the same to me!" Angel sneered. "I will no longer stand for this opposition to my divinity! If I must get my hands dirty to get what I want then so be it!" she powered up, releasing a fiery purple.

"Whoa man, her energy's going haywire!" Gray said.

"Such force, feels like my body's evaporating from the heat!" Juvia said.

"Angey please, no more fighting! A good couple disagrees every once in a while but they always kiss and make in the end! Let's just do that now!" Dan begged.

Angel's energy finally calmed down and she glare intensely at her enemies. "Now you mortals will learn you place!" she said before she blitzed right in front of Gray; before the ice mage could react she punched him in the gut. The ice fairy coughed up blood before grasping his stomach and falling to his knees. He had just enough time to see Angel left foot glowing with pure Ki before he was kicked in the chin by it and sent flying upward into the ceiling.

"Gray!" Juvia shouts with concern. Angel continued her assault as she grabbed the knight by the armor and tossed him into a T-rex skeleton before using a Kiai to make it collapse onto him. "Dan, no!" the water mage cried before she found herself in a dire situation as Angel grabbed her by the head and fired an energy blasts point black to her face. Angel smirks as Juvia's head burst into liquid thinking she's finished only to be surprised when the droplets of water come back together and reform Juvia's face. "You'll pay for causing harm to my friends!" Juvia promises as she liquefies her arms. "Water whip!" she swings her arms at the female Oracion striking her with numerous liquid lashes.

Angel put her arms to parry the continuous water whips before revving up her energy to push Juvia away from her. "You humans are so annoying!" she declares as she aims her hands at the ex Phantom Lord Mage and fires numerous Ki blasts at her; although the blasts went right through Juvia's liquid form, they caused no damage to her body.

Finally recovering from the devastating kick he received, Gray opened his eyes and looked down below to see Angel trying to incinerate the water mage. "Okay, now I'm mad!" Gray said as he removed himself from the ceiling and jumped towards the Oracion. "Ice Make Cold Excalibur!" the Ice mage formed his giant ice sword and swung at the dark mage's back, catching her by surprise as he made a small cut and sliced off some feathers on one of her wings.

"Insolent wizard! How dare you strike my wings!" Angel growled at the ice mage before firing an energy blast him; it collided with his ice weapon and exploded, but when the smoke cleared, the white haired mage saw that Gray was not only unharmed but his body and cold Excalibur were now glowing with Ki.

"Did you forget that I got Ki with my magic too?!" Gray inquired.

"Doesn't matter, I can still smash you and your pathetic ice magic!" Angel said as she swung her Ki enhanced fist at the ice fairy. Her attack managed to touch the giant sword, shattering it instantly; but Gray managed to use his ice blade to hoist himself up and then kick the Oracion hard in the chest just as she destroyed his weapon.

"Juvia, now!" Gray ordered.

"Yes my love!" Juvia complied. "Water Claw!" the Rain woman struck the dark mage making her cry out in pain. Angel fell to one knee as the fairies regrouped for the fight. Blood dripped from the cut on Angel's back and her mouth as her clothes were now tattered; she gets to her feet and grabs her ruined clothes to tear them off, leaving only the feathery bra and skirt. Juvia's face turns bright red at Angel's now alluring appearance. "What?! She's started stripping too?! She must be copying my love's habits in an attempt to win him over by thinking she can appeal to his sexual perversions!" Juvia cried in horror before grabbing her clothes. "Well, I won't be outdone by a love rival! I'm going all out too!"

"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!" Gray shouted at the water mage before stopping here. "SHE JUST TOOK HER CLOTHES OFF CAUSE THEY WERE MESSED UP! STOP TRYING TO TAKE YOUR OFF ALREADY!"

Angel glared at their antics as she wiped blood from her lip. "You filthy mortals, you've managed to injure and wound me! You've also ruined my garments! You'd even go so far as to degrade me with your vulgar beliefs!" she growled while shaking with rage; she then pulled out the combat drug from her breast and chugged down more of it. "As an angel I swear this…YOU WILL ALL SUFFER FOR YOUR SINS!" she screamed as her power skyrocketed again. Her wings were now glowing even brighter as several balls of light appeared around her. She then stretched her hands at the fairies, sending her numerous energy blasts at them.

Gray quickly puts up a shield of ice to protect him and Juvia; the many Ki blasts begin to pound against the frozen barrier causing it to slowly crack. "Damn, she's not even using her hands, and she can make this many blasts! Just how much stronger will she keep getting?!" Gray wonder as he struggled to keep his shield up, even with his Ki improve his magic he still couldn't hold out forever. "Quit fooling yourself! You're not a freaking angel, you're human and you know it!" he shouted before his ice shield broke and the two fairies were bombarded by energy blasts.

"Time to die humans," Angel sneered as she saw her foes on the ground; she sent more energy blasts to finish them off only for the bone pile she used to crush Dan to burst open and shrink before the knight jumped out and dashed before the fairies, holding out his shield to reflect the Ki attacks.

"Hey guys, did ya miss me?" Dan asked coolly.

"Thank you Dan," Juvia said as she and Gray got up.

"Yeah nice save moron," the ice mage said.

"Why can't you insects just stay down already?! Angel asked furiously.

"Why Angey, that's a nice change in wardrobe you've got there! Trying to look the part of a real angel now," Dan said as steam came out of his nose. "Well I totally approve babe! It's both heavenly and sexy!"

"I take back what I said, should've let her kill me so that I didn't have to see this," Gray muttered.

"I've had enough of your pestilence!" Angel declared as she fired more energy blasts at them. Dan just put up ricochet to defend himself and the fairies; the Oracion didn't let up in her volley of blasts but they still couldn't get through Dan's reflector shield.

"Uh, you guys might wanna do something to stop her right about now!" Dan said.

"I thought your shield could reflect any attack?!" Gray questioned.

"It can, but that doesn't mean I can hold it while it's doing that forever!" Dan argued.

"Hey Juvia, I think it's time for a unison raid!" Gray suggested.

"Of course my dear, but I'm not sure I have enough power for one," Juvia replied.

"That's okay," Gray assured as he took her hand. "Cause I've got plenty to spare and I'm willing to share it with you. So, wanna do this?"

Juvia blushed before giving a determined smile and grasping the ice mage's hand. "Yes my love! Let's do it!" she said. The two fairies started channeling magic energy along with the Ki that flowed from Gray to Juvia. "Magic Fusion! Unison Raid!" they exclaimed as a magic circle appeared right above the battlefield; the large reserves of water that came from Juvia's battle with Tarmiel started shooting upwards into the magic seal.

"What's happening?! What's with all this water?!" Angel asked.

"Whoa, that's some magic power you're unleashing lovebirds!" Dan commented.

"Pay attention man, cause this is what real love feels like!" Gray stated before he frowned. "I can't believe I just said that!"

"Ready when you are my love!" Juvia said.

"Let's do this!" Gray said.

The water was finally absorbed into their magic circle completely. "Ice Shard Shower!" they shouted as thousands of frozen sharp projectiles started raining down on the Oracion; she cried out in pain as the plummeting blizzard pounded her repeatedly.

"Amazing, now that truly is the power of love!" Dan said in awe. "I hope that one day, me and my Angey can have such wondrous power together! L-O-V-E!"

"You call this power?!" Angel question as she held up three gold coins. "I'll show true power! As an angel I command the heavens; you can't expect anything you summon from it to overpower me so easily! COST THIRTY; I SUMMON BARAKIEL!" In a flash of light another angel being with three faces, two large wings, and enormous arms with claws appeared before the mages; Barakiel created a red sphere of energy and fire multiple blasts from it into the magic circle above. The blast barrage clashed with the ice shard shower shattering every icicle and causing a fog to consume the area before the blast overpowered the unison raid and destroyed the seal above.

"No way, she was able to overwhelm our unison raid!"Juvia said incredibly. "But we had the power of love on our side!"

"Man, this fog is so thick! I can't see anything!" Gray yelled. "Where'd that angel wannabe go?!"

"Even now, you still insult my divinity!" Angel's voice came from behind the fairies; Gray and Juvia quickly turned to see the dark mage standing behind them with two Ki blasts aimed at them. "Now it's time for you and your love to die!" she fired her attacks, nailing both fairies in the back and sending them flying across the room. They landed hard on the floor as their bodies were smoking from the blasts. "Well, it's nice to see that your water body's not helping you this time. Which means, you can be killed now." Angel stated while smiling deviously.

"My love, please stop!" Dan pleaded. "Hasn't there been enough bloodshed?!"

Angel didn't even look at him as she raised her hand and fired a Kiai that blew the knight away. "I'll deal with after I've the lovely couple, they're the real threat to me!" she said as she slowly walked towards the fairies; she was surprised to see the ice mage getting back on his feet after the damaged he's taken. "It's the Ki in your body, it allows to you keep going," Angel deduced. "It's doesn't matter, that energy can only protect for so long," the dark mage held out her left hand and channeled energy into it to form a red Ki blade. "Now you'll face my blade of judgment!" she charged at the fairies and held up her weapon.

Gray managed to grab Juvia and rolled out of the way, narrowly avoiding Angel's slash that sliced the ground and a deep thin trench. "Come on Juvia, let's give it one more go!" Gray said as he stood up; when he noticed that the water mage hadn't gotten up, he looked down to see her still on the ground with her mouth hanging open with hearts in her eyes. "Seriously, right now?"

"My darling and I just had our bodies pressed against each other," Juvia thought. "I could practically feel our love flourishing to the next stage!"

"If you're done daydreaming your love world, think you can manage one more unison raid?" Gray inquired.

"Yes my love!" Juvia said as she sprung to her feet. "I will offer you my strength once more! Let us defeat this love rival together so we may cuddle again!"

"You're not gonna let this go are you?" Gray asked. "Just give me your hand!"

"Yes dear!" Juvia complied as she took the ice mage's hand. The two combined their magic once again and prepared to attack the enemy again. "Water Nebula!" Juvia shouted.

"Ice Make Geyser!" Gray yelled. The fairies unleashed a powerful torrent that immediately froze as it swirled and flew towards the Oracion. "Blizzard Tsunami!"

"It doesn't matter how many times you mortals come together, you're powers will never compare to that of an angel or the Oracions!" the dark mage said as she swiped her Ki blade at the unison raid completely wiping it out. The Fairies were so shocked they didn't react to Angel spreading out her wings while smirking deviously; she blitz towards the mages and slashed them with her wings which had become razor sharp due to her Ki. Angel repeated this action a few more times, placing a few more cuts on the fairies; Gray still managed to stand despite the several bleeding cuts he had. "Why can't you mortals just stay down?!" Angel asked furiously. Gray used his ice magic to cauterize his wounds before doing the same to Juvia's wounds.

"Come on Juvia, we can't give up yet!" Gray said as he took her hand and helped her up.

"Yes my love!" Juvia replied.

"You still believe you have a chance against a divine being?!" Angel asked incredibly. "You pitiful mortals, I will wipe out your sorry existence!" She raised her hand and fired several energy blasts at her foes.

"I won't let you erase our love!" Juvia cried as she formed a water dome around her and Gray; the blast made impact but were unable to break through despite the water mage's minimum power.

"Hang in their Juvia!" Gray encouraged her. "Ice Make Bullets!" he placed his palm on the water barrier freezing part of it and forming ice projectiles to launch at the dark mage.

"Oh please," Angel said as she stood there and did nothing; the ice crashed into her body and shattered instantly, leaving no mark on her. "See, at this point I've become so powerful none of your pathetic attacks can bruise me anymore!"

"Damn it!" Gray thought before saying "Oh yeah? Well it's not over yet!"

"That's where you're wrong Fairy Tail," Angel corrected the ice mage. "Because I'm going to end this fight now! Starting with the death of the water witch, for all the minor dark guilds under the Baram Alliance that you wiped out; not to mention if there's one thing I hate more than boring men, it's women who believe in the false hope called love!" She held out her Ki blade and pointed it at Juvia who was trembling with fear.

Gray held Juvia's hand tightly while stepping in front of her. "No way I'm gonna let you kill her! You'll have to go through me first!" he said.

"Gray, my darling," Juvia muttered in awe, neither of them noticed their held hands glowing nor did the Oracion.

"How noble, trying to play the hero. I believe that sinful mistake is why you're about to die!" Angel exclaimed. "But who am I to deny your request to be sacrificed!" she charged at the ice mage with her energy blade ready; just as she was about to reach him, Juvia summoned what little magic she had and used it to activate her water body before surrounding Gray. After Angel struck, the ice fairy was unharmed while the rain woman was completely slashed into droplets. Juvia smiled sadly at her guildmate who stared back in shock.

"Farewell my love," she muttered before transforming into water and splashing against the ground.

"Well, that was unexpected. I didn't," Angel mused. "But perhaps this will make you see how you have no chance against a real angel. This is why you should've killed me when you had the chance."

"J-Juvia," Gray stuttered while staring at the little puddles of water. "W-What are you doing?! Get up! We have to keep fighting! For Lucy, for the guild, for the world!" his words went unanswered by the liquid before. "Come on, I've seen you return from water before, so what are you waiting for now?! Just come back already!" he said while touching the water with his index finger; his eyes widened before he stepped back from the puddle and fell to his knees. "It's…cold...even to me…an ice mage,"

"That's because there's nothing colder than an early death!" Angel replied. "What you're yelling at isn't human anymore, it's just water; she tried to save despite have no magic left and sacrificed her life in the process. Though, I guess she was always meant to die this way, a water wizard finally becoming water and splatting against the ground." She stepped in the as she stood before the saddened ice fairy. "The next this I spill will be your blood to mix with this water, I shall at least grant your desires to be together, in death! It'll be the first step to my godly ascension as an angel!" The ice mage gave her no reply as she held her Ki blade over his head and he just got to his feet. Angel swung the blade at Gray but her grabbed her wrist before it cut could him. "What the heavens?!" she asked as she tried to free herself, only for his grip to tighten as he glared at her with tearful rage filled eyes.

"The power comes in response to a need, not a desire…You have to create that need," Gray muttered as his body started gold and blue light. "I get it now, the power comes in response to my need, and what I need…is to make you pay!" the ice mage roared as he released massive amounts of magic energy and Ki; Angel finally broke free and jumped away from her opponent.

"What's this?! Where's this power coming from?!" Angel inquired.

"You insult my guild and my world, you used my friends, you used hurt Lucy, but worst of all, you killed Juvia!" Gray exclaimed with fury. "I don't care if you're real angel or not anymore, cause I promise, I'll make you pay for what you've done!" Gray's right fist glowed gold while his left hand glowed blue; he placed his fist on his palm and yelled "Holy Ice Make Absolute Zero Armor!" The ice mage disappeared in a flash of light that blinded the Oracion; when it died down Angel saw Gray standing in a large and intimidating dynamic set of full body ice armor with a helm featuring a pair of horns and a X shaped visor; but the most notable part of his armor are his massive spiked metal shoulder plates.

Angel's face expressed surprise before switching to a cocky one. "Well, I'll give you points for presentation in theatrics but you still lack the power to defeat me! All that ridiculously armor did was make you a bigger target for me to hit!" she charges with her energy blade and slashes the armor; she was stunned when the ice armor remained intact and Gray just stared at her unimpressed. Angel gets over her shock and continues slashing at the ice armor; Gray remains immobile until he lifts his left arm to block the Ki blade. Angel is left speechless when her blade of judgment is incapable of cutting through his armored wrist. He pushes her away looking unamused. "Alright then, try this mortal!" Angel said as she shifted the energy from her blade into her fist and charged at the ice mage; she struck him in the face, making his head turn by force.

"Was that suppost to hurt?" Gray inquired as he turned his head back to look at her surprised face. Gray then makes a fist and socks the Oracion in the stomach so hard she coughs up blood before skidding backwards. "Wasn't expecting that punch to be so hard, must've used more power than I thought," Gray said.

Angel stood up and grasped her gut in pain. "Damn you," she groaned.

"Let's see what else I can do," Gray said as he made a hand sign. "Hail Bullets!" He shouted as numerous jagged icicles were formed around the ice mage; Gray raised his hand upward, manipulating the icicles to follow before pointing at Angel. The Hail bullets flew towards the Oracion at such speed, she had no time to defend herself; she screamed as she was pelted continuously by the ice projectiles before collapsing onto her hand and feet. "Not bad," Gray said while gazing at his hand.

"I'll admit…your power has become quite impressive human…however," Angel said as she stood up again. "It's still not enough to defeat an Angel! COME TO MY SIDE BARAKIEL! SIMTE THIS CURSED MORTAL!" The three faced angel flew over to its master and fired many red blasts at Gray. The Ice mage held up his arms in defense; the blasts collided with his armor, cracking it and shattering it around his arms and stomach. "You see? An angel's power is truly magnificent! You can't hope to match it for more than an instant! How you've survived for this long is nothing more than short miracles, but I am one who surpasses and controls those phenomena's!"

Gray's arms were steaming as he glared at the Oracion; suddenly his armor started glowing gold; the ice armor then started to repair any cracks in it while replacing the parts that were shattered. "Whoa," Gray said as he examined his armor.

"H-How did you do that?" Angel asked.

"I don't really know, to be honest, I don't get what's happening to me at all," Gray said while looking at his hand. "But one thing's for sure, this is more power than I've ever felt before in my life…and I like it!" He then glared at the angered Oracion before raising his right hand and shouting "Holy Ice Make: Executioner's Blade!" summoning a double bladed ax with a long pole; he charged at the dark mage and the angel creature with the ne ice axe.

"I already told you mortal, you cannot defeat me!" Angel said. "Barakiel, destroy him!" The giant white being flew to attack the ice fairy.

"Killer Iceberg!" Gray shouted as he an incredibly large icicle with his left hand and hurled it at the angel; the iceberg struck the angel, stopping it in its tracks. "Freezing Field!" Gray stomped on the floor completely covering it with ice; the ice spread to the angel's feet, encasing it in ice and immobilizing it. "Icicle Castle!" Gray exclaimed as pillars of ice sport out of the ground and imprisoned the giant being. "Looks like it's time for your judgment!" the fairy declared as he jumped towards Barakiel and swung his axe at its three heads, cutting them clean off, and killing it; the angel shrieked before it dissipated into three coins that shattered to pieces on the icy floor. Once again, Angel grasped her chest in agony as magic power flew out of her from her angel's death.

"H-How? How does this human keep slaying my angels and causing me pain?" the Oracion inquired.

Gray turned to face the dark mage as the ice castle crumbled; he held out his axe to her and declared "Now here come your judgment!" before rushing towards here.

"Stay away!" Angel cried as she fired multiple Ki blasts at the ice mage; Gray just twirled his axe and deflected the blasts. The fairy tail mage swung his weapon at the Oracion but she flew away from to keep her distance. "You'll never touch so long as I posses the powers of an angel!"

"We'll see about that!" Gray replied before raising his hand at her "Blizzard Axel!" he exclaimed, creating a violent blizzard and using it to surround his opponent; Angel was caught in destructive icy wind that blinded her and kept her in place. Her wings started to freeze from the ice particles sticking to them. She was so distracted by the blizzard; she was unaware of Gray coming up behind her with his axe ready. He struck her in the back, slicing her wings clean off; Angel cried out in anguish as she fell to the ground. Gray continued to assault the white haired mage as he elbowed her in the gut, punched her in the chin and knocked her flat on her back. "Like I said before, you're not an angel; you're human!" Gray stated. "But if it's any consolation, maybe you'll actually become an angel when end your life!"

The Ice mage jumped over the Oracion and held up his axe; Angel stared at her opponent in fear as he started to come down onto her with his weapon. "Is this really how it ends?" she thought. "Has my time finally come? Will I finally have my prayer answered to leave this cursed world and ascend with the true angels into the heavens?" she closed her eyes as she awaited her inevitable passing and gave a small smile. "At last, my one prayer…will finally be answered."

Just as the ice axe was about to hit the Oracion, Ricochet came in between them and blocked the attack; Gray was blown back as the Legion knight stood defensively in front of the white haired mage; Gray glared at the Legion member as Angel's shot open. "What the heck are you doing man?!" the ice mage questioned. "Get out of my way!"

"No, I can't let you kill her!" Dan replied. "She's the love of my life!"

"Are you that dense?! She doesn't feel love for you!" Gray yelled. "This is no time for your hopeless chivalry! She's incapable of loving anyone but herself; I have to take her out now!"

"You're wrong! There's still love in her heart, I can feel it!" Dan argued. "You said it yourself; you've must've seen it earlier!"

"What I saw doesn't matter anymore! She killed Juvia and has refused your love!" Gray stated.

"I'm sorry you lost Juvia, but please, don't put me through the same pain you're feeling!" Dan pleaded. "Juvia understood what it felt to have your love reject your feelings, but she still gave her life to save yours! And I will do the same!"

"Are you out of your mind man?! She's the enemy! She's using Lucy to bring about chaos! Are you even thinking with your head at all?!" Gray asked.

"Who says you have to be sane to be in love?!" Dan asked. "I'm thinking with my heart, not my head. Isn't that what you guys in Fairy Tail do, follow your heart?"

Gray was still shaking with anger as he held his ice weapon ready; he then sighed and stood down. "I'd better not regret doing man! You owe me big time!" he said to the knight.

"On my honor as a knight protecting his love, I promise to repay you debt," Dan swore.

Angel clenched her fists as she glared at the male mages and stood back up. "Once again, you humans have disgraced me by besting me in battle but not finishing me off; and now you've made it worse by allowing this miserable fool be the one to save me and prevent my ascension!" she said before reaching into her breast and pulling out the combat drug again, gulping the down more of it and powering up once again. "You'll all pay for you defiance!" she declared as she held ten coins in her hand and hoist them into the air. "FOR THE COST OF ONE HUNDRED I ASK THAT YOU COME FORTH FROM THE LIGHT AND OBLITERATE IN MT NAME! I SUMMON THE ANGEL WHO PLAYS THE SOUND OF THE END TIMES! RAGUEL!" In a flash of light, another with two enormous wings, four long arms, hind hooved legs, three tails, and seven heads each with its own blowing horn.

"My love, please no more fighting!" Dan pleaded with her. "We can help you! There's more to life than causing pain and death! Let me show you that life is worth living!"

"I have grown tired of your pestilence! You will be next to pay for your sins!" Angel declared while pointing at the knight. "Raguel, finish this pest now!" The sound angel complied at it blew it horns to attack the Legionnaire.

"Keep blowing, I will not back down!" Dan assured. "I'm willing to risk everything for you Angey, even my life!"

"May you writhe in agony, until death feels like a blessing from above!" Angel said.

The seven sound waves pushed against the Legion knight; Dan struggled to stand as the sounds grew more intense and his Ricochet began to crack. "There's nothing than can stop me! I'll fight…until the day…I WIN YOUR HEART!" the knight swore just before the sound waves shattered his shield and most of his armor; his eyes turned blank as he was sent flying with so much pain through his body.

"Or til you dying trying," Angel merely giggled at the anguish she caused the knight while Gray rushed to his aid.

"Come on, you've got to pull yourself together!" Gray told the knight while holding his head.

"Wow, I had no idea…you cared so much about me," Dan groaned before he passed out.

"How could you?! He saved your life, and this is how you repay him?!" Gray asked the Oracion.

"That man intervened with my wish! He lacks beauty and intelligence, he's truly pathetic!" Angel replied. "He deserves to die for all his sins!"

"You were ready to die just a while ago, stop acting all high and mighty! You're no better than him and you have no right to sentence anyone to death!" Gray retorted.

"Of course I do, I'm an angel after all," she replied before correcting herself. "Or rather, I'm a maiden who longs to be an angel. I have no doubt that I'll become one someday, but time tends to make one impatient for the things they desperately desire." She closed her eyes and put her hands together to show that continued to pray for her ascension. "Yes, my wish shall be granted one day, and when it does the power of my miraculous angel magic will bathe me in its divine light and wash away all of my sin."

"What sin?!" Gray inquired.

"The worst of all…being born human," Angel answered as her eyes shot open with rage.

"You don't seriously believe that do you?" Gray asked.

"I chip away my own life whenever I summon an angel, but I don't mind. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make to become an angel myself," she explained.

"So those coins represent your life force? And you're just throwing them away?!" Gray questioned. "That's why you're in pain when they're defeated! How can you do that to yourself?!"

"What can I say, I'm ready to trade these false wings for real ones," the Oracion replied as she rode on Raguel. "Although with the power of Ki I've become more of an angel than I ever imagined, but I'm still not a full one yet. I am incomplete for now, and the more angelic power I wield, the more ugliness I see in the world. This wretched place is nothing more than a disgusting cesspit overflowing with human greed! To vanish into the sky like an angel is my wish; I want to bid farewell to this rotten world and never return. I will vanish…beautifully,"

"You may be alive, but you're dead on the inside," Gray stated.

"How so?" Angel inquired as she appeared before him.

"You're never truly happy, all you ever do is babble on about sin, and how this world is a rotten place…but you made that choice and you're part of the reason this world is so wretched!" Gray explained. "Take this guy for example, he may be lovesick and insane, but at least he's honest with himself; he choices to live life to the fullest! If there's one thing Fairy Tail's taught me it's that no matter how tough things get you never give up! We all laugh, yell, and even cry as hard as we can! We make the most of every single day…cause each one of em counts!"

"Goodness, you don't have to yell at me like that," Angel said jokingly.

"People like you make me sick! The only reason you wanna die so bad is because you hardly even lived! If you refuse to be a part of this world then you have no right to call it a rotten place; cause the truth is you don't know anything about it!" As the ice mage spoke, cracks started to appear on Raguel. "The way you spout out that nonsense, you sound like a spoiled brat whose pretending to be an angel!"

"You think its nonsense?" Angel asked.

"Why bother vanishing? There's no reason to die, you're pretty much gone already." Gray declared.

Enraged, the Oracion glared at the ice fairy as her own body began to crack as well. "How dare you mock me?! Belittle my deepest wish?!" she asked as her body was emitting a dark aura.

"Whoa, what the heck's happening to you?" Gray questioned.

The Oracion ignored him and spoke to her angel being. "Raguel, destroy him at once!" The angel of sound suddenly burst apart into a giant red blob, releasing a shock wave that cracked Gray's ice armor and blew him into the stairs. "Yes, that's a wonderful start! Now keep at it until the fool is torn to pieces!" Angel commanded, unaware of her angel's transformation, or her own.

"What is that thing? It's disgusting!" Gray commented on the being behind Angel; his enemy only seemed to laugh at his repulsiveness towards her angel. "This isn't funny! Can't you see that your own magic's about to devour you!"

"This power of Ki is truly wonderful, with it and my feelings I can summon the most powerful of Angels, Ramiel, Tarmiel, and Raguel all ready to fight by my side until I become one of them!" Angel boasted as she pulled out the last of her combat drug. "And with this drug, I can increase my energy to strengthen my angels' power!" She gulped down the remainder of it and powered up with a red fiery aura; her skin started to peel off, revealing a dark red under skin. "Here Raguel! Take my power, and use it to destroy all those who dare to mock us angels!" streams of Ki flew out of Angel and into the former Raguel, causing it to increase in size, filling up the room.

"That thing's growing now, what's happening?" Gray asked before he realized something. "Is this what Lady Solaseed was talking about? Is this magic truly nothing more than a heretical black arts magic pretending to be angel magic?" The dark mage continue to laugh maniacally as the red blob moved closer to her. "Oh man, I've got to stop this now!" The Ice fairy ran to reach the Oracion while using his ice axe to cut away the blob tentacles that tried to attack him; in the same room, the unconscious Dan was about to be consumed by the blob when the puddle that was Juvia started glowing gold and moved towards him.

"Prepare to meet your destruction you filthy human!" Angel yelled as Gray jumped towards her. The blob fired numerous energy blasts but Gray's holy ice armor managed to protect him long enough for him to reach her and grab her. "Let me go!"

"Not gonna happen! Would you take a look around, your beloved angel's about to takeover and kill you!" Gray said. "This is what Solaseed was trying to warn you about; your angel magic's growing stronger thanks to your Ki, and now its revealed it's true form!"

"But why?" Angel questioned. "Why is this happening?"

"Hasn't anyone ever told you the stronger a spell is, the more demanding it is?!" as Gray warned, the false angel continued to flood the room, consuming everything in its path. "When a weak minded wizard cast a powerful spell it can backfire and engulf its caster!"

"I'm not weak minded! I'm stronger than you can ever imagine!" Angel argued.

"I'm not gonna argue with you! Just look at your angel!" Gray shouted, the white haired girl became surprised when she saw her angel's true form. "Now tell me, is this really what you've been longing for all this time?! I guarantee that if this thing takes you anywhere it's not gonna be pretty blue skies but more like a pit of utter darkness!"

"This thing…it's so ugly," Angel muttered.

"Yes it is, this is the true form of the magic you gained, and the enormous Ki you fed it made it worse!" Gray said. "It's just a parasite, feeding off of your life so it can grow! This is what you've become! If you don't stop it there's no going back!" The ice mage stood right over the Oracion as the blob surrounded them.

"So this…is me?" Angel asked in horror.

"Come on, you've got to snap out of it! You're not an angel, you're human! You're a living breathing human, but not for long!" Gray yelled.

"No, that's not true! I'm not human, I'M AN ANGEL!" Angel denied.

"Will you wake up already! You're gonna vanish forever once this lump of flesh swallows you whole! This isn't what you wished for!" Gray shouted. The blob started consuming both mages, covering them with its growing flesh.

"This monster…is me?" Angel questioned.

"Holy Freeze!" Gray exclaimed as he released a massive ice blast; the false angel backed away slightly from the ice as it burned any part of it that touched the enhanced ice spell. "You've got to get it together; you can't let your magic get the best of you! You have to live!"

"Please…help me!" Angel pleaded as she stood behind the ice mage. The blob moaned as it persisted in consuming its former master while fighting against Gray's holy ice. "I'm scared, make it stop! I don't want to vanish, I want to live! I WANT TO LIVE!"

"Water Slicer!" someone shouted, getting the mages attention. Parts of the blob were suddenly being sliced away by a certain water mage.

"Juvia!" Gray exclaimed in awe.

The Rain woman continued to unleash her water attacks as her body emitted gold aura; as she came close to Gray and Angel's location, she looked back and yelled "NOW DAN!" On commanded the Legion Knight jumped out from behind Juvia and tossed his Habaraki spear at the white haired mage, striking her right in the chest; she gasped as the lance's magic began altering the size of her magic core, shrinking it down.

Gray still struggled to fight off the blob as the left side of his ice armor was shattered but he stood his ground. "Water Catastrophe!" Juvia exclaimed as multiple magic circles appeared around her and high pressure walls of boiling water shot out in every direction, pushing the fleshy blob back more and giving Juvia a wide space towards her soul mate. "Gray, my love!" Juvia cried out to the ice mage while extending her hand.

"Juvia!" Gray replied while reaching out and accepting her hand. Their magic powers combined once again and began to push the blob back. "Get out of here you phony angel! WE'RE SENDING YOU BACK TO HELL WHERE YOU BELONG!" Gray shouted as their magic began to frighten the blob. "Holy Blizzard Tsunami!" the two announced their unison raid and unleashed a swirling gold torrent that froze as it struck the red lumps of flesh; Angel stared at the two fairies in awe as the entire blob was overtaken by their power and turned into solid ice before shattering. Snow fell everywhere and the room was an ice rink but the phony angel was nowhere in sight. "It's over," Gray sighed.

"Oh Gray my darling, I'm so happy to be reunited with you!" Juvia said with joy as she hugged his arm. "Are you hurt anywhere?"

"Nah, just a few bruises, I'll be fine." Gray answered before asking. "But I don't get it, how are you here? I thought she killed you."

"I don't really understand it myself. After she struck me, I thought for sure I would die when I turned to water; but then I felt this strange energy flowing through me, it gave me the strength to reform and save Dan from that hideous creature." Juvia explained. "He had asked me to help him get towards you and the enemy so that he could assist her when we heard your speech and her cries of help."

"Wait a minute, you're glowing Juvia," Gray said.

"Thank you my love," Juvia said while blushing.

"No, I mean you're literally glowing!" Gray repeated. The gold outline around Juvia shined brightly before fading away. "Huh, could it have been…" Gray thought to when he held Juvia's hand to protect her from Angel's strike. "Did you somehow get some of my Ki?" His ice armor then dissipated, leaving him with no shirt on before he buckled to one knee.

"My love!" Juvia cried as she helped him up.

"Guess I over did it, not sure we would've made it without you guys' help," Gray said.

"Ya gotta admit, my timing was perfect." Dan said. "At the exact same moment you destroyed that monster, I shrunk the core of Angey's magic to make it as small as I could possibly get it. Basically, you got all your coins back."

"And all those years have been added to your life, plus your Ki to expand more," Gray added.

Angel stared at her chest where the last of the dark magic seeped out of her. "But I don't understand, why would you go to such lengths to save the life of your enemy?" she asked the ice mage.

"Huh, that's a really good question." Gray replied. "Would've felt like a jerk if I just let you vanish like that without a fight,"

"My love has always been like this, risking it all to win but never letting the enemy fall to their own darkness," Juvia said. "If he sees the light in them, he's fight to save them from the darkness concealing it. It's something the two of us share now,"

"Very well then, I admit defeat." Angel said.

"There you go, spoken like a true angel." Gray commented.

"Don't get any ideas buddy, this cutie's all mine!" Dan stated.

"Hey Juvia," Gray said getting the water mage's attention. "…I'm glad you're not dead, that you're still by my side. So don't bother leaving it again, ok?"

The Rain woman blushed from the ice mage's words and embraced him passionately. "Oh my prince, I'll never leave your side again!"

"One of the seals has disappeared, now only three remain." Lucy sated with an emotionless voice; she stared at the battle before her between her friends and her sister with blank eyes.

"Hey Lucy, listen up! I know that you can hear me right now!" Natsu shouted to the celestial mage. "Just hang on! I promise, I will save you!"

"Don't make promises you can't keep Salamander," Imitatia advised.

"We'll see about that!" Natsu said as he ignited himself.

Outside the Infinity castle, the Saiyan and the Tufflebot continued to exchange blows; they sped around the castle pounding each other with her fists or feet. Gohan managed to grab Rancor's ankle and toss him towards the earth. "Hyper Masenko…ha!" he shouted as he fired a ball of energy at the machine. Rancor quickly deflected the attack and phased behind Gohan to strike him, but his attack was caught and he was kicked away. Gohan then zoomed towards the Hatchiyak to continue his assault while its guard was still down; just as his fist was about to hit its face, Rancor grabbed Gohan's wrist, surprising the Son of Goku.

Rancor's chest gem then lit up, showing the seal than binds him to the six demons now was missing three parts to it. "Looks like another one of those pathetic demons has fallen," the machine stated as he started to squeeze Gohan's wrist. "Which means my strength has increased to 70%!" He then palm struck Gohan before appearing above him with his hands together and bashing him into the castle. "If you thought it was hard to defeat me before, just wait til I reach full strength!" Rancor charged to punch Gohan but he quickly jumped to evade him. Gohan then fired an energy blast at the Tufflebot who dodged it but was struck in the face by Gohan's fist; the half Saiyan then phased behind the machine and kicked it in the back before disappearing again. "His energy's much greater than I calculated; the Destron gas can't sap it fast enough. Has he really regained all his power after our last battle?" Rancor thought before he smirked. "Heh! It doesn't matter, in time he'll wear himself out again while my strength will keep growing and because of the gas he won't get any stronger. This fight is mine!"

"Why are you smiling?" Gohan inquired.

"I find it amusing that despite your chances, you refuse to give up." Rancor replied. "No matter how hard you try, you can't win."

"I'll just have to try harder then," Gohan said.

"By all means…keep trying." Rancor said. The two dashed towards each other and clashed fists as they resumed their fight to the death.

A/N: DONE! Man, this took a considerable number of weeks to finish; mostly because I had gotten seriously busy and barely had time to look at my stories let alone write them. Now I'm trying to make up for lost times and make time by picking up where I left off. Don't worry we'll get to the end of this arc! So, how was the fight against Angel? Hope it was spectacular.
