28. Chapter 28

A/N: We're back and it's time for another chapter of Dragon Tail Z! Thanks for the reviews and hope you like this chapter;

Previously on Dragon Tail Z, the Fairies have nearly defeated every member of the Oracion Seis; as Midnight was beaten by Black Steel, the spirit of the Demon King Doryu offered him extraordinary power in exchange for his body, to which the Oracion head agreed. The essence left Lucy's spirit in his old prison as he merged with Brain II, becoming an immensely powerfully adversary that easily trumped the Iron Dragon Slayer. Now, after Imitatia has lost, a greater danger approaches the Fairies as time is close to running out; but with only Oracion standing, just how much of his full power does Rancor have access to and will the Hybrids be able to stop it?

Chapter28-

"Everyone please remain calm! Until the crisis is past you'll be taken to a safe location!" A Rune Knight assured the distressed citizens as he and his comrades tried to control the crowd. "Now everyone please form a line and evacuate in an orderly manner." The people followed the instructions and steadily walked to the secure destination; as they were going, a small boy noticed something very bright in the dark sky. "Wow, that's the brightest star I've ever seen." The boy commented before putting his hands together and closing his eyes to make a wish. "I wish someone strong would come and save everyone." "Hey young man, don't fall behind!" a knight called to the boy as he went to meet him. "What are you gazing at?" the knight looked up and swathe same 'star' the boy was looking upon. "Huh, well at least one star can shine so brightly in this dark time."

"Hey, that star's falling!"

"Must be a shooting star,"

"Uh, is it me or is the star falling towards us?"

The citizens soon realized that the supposed 'shooting star' was indeed headed in their direction. "EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" a knight shouted. The bystanders ducked as the falling object surrounded in gold light sailed over their heads and crash-landed a few yards away. They gathered around the large newly formed crater to find young muscular boy with spiky gold hair in a torn purple Gi, covered in scrapes and bruises, lying there. "Is that a kid?"

"What happened to him?"

"How he'd get here?"

"Is he still alive?"

"Look, he's starting to get up!" Soon, the Son of Goku pushed himself back to his feet and scanned the heavens. "Are you alright young man, do you need help?" he was asked.

Gohan then spotted what he was looking for and shouted "Get away, run!" before he jumped out of his whole and flew straight to the skies, there he intercepted with the Tufflebot before backing away. "Something's different. His power seems to have increased again." Gohan thought before his eyes widened in realization. "Don't tell me…"

"You've finally noticed Saiyan; my power has been fully restored." Rancor stated as he revved up his energy. "I must thank your foolish fairy friends for defeating those tiresome tyrants and breaking my binding seal and the best way to do that…is to bring them your corpse!" Gohan took a defensive stance at Rancor charged at him; the people down below watched in awe as the two fighters continued to battle. Eventually the Hatchiyak broke through the Demi Saiyan's defenses and sent him crashing back to the earth. Gohan landed on his feet among the bystanders as the war machine fired two energy blasts at him. Gohan deflected them but received a sock to the face from his adversary. The Z Fighter caught himself and wiped his mouth; Rancor rushed at the Saiyan again who tried to fly away but the machine proved faster by grabbing his right leg and throwing him back to the where the bystanders were watching the fight. Gohan landed on his back just as the red giant brought his fists down on him. The Saiyan used his feet to block the assault, but the force behind it blew some of the people around them back a bit. Noticing this, Gohan pushed off the war machine and back flipped to gain some distance before attempting to fly off again; Rancor teleported behind the Son of Goku and kicked him back down.

The machined then threw a punch at the Z Fighter that he blocked by crossing his arms. "Hey! Just what do you think you're doing Rancor?!" Gohan questioned.

"Basically I'm trying to kill you monkey." Rancor replied.

"Then why do you keep sending back to this spot that's full of innocent civilians?!" Gohan inquired. "If you wanna destroy me, fine! But leave these people out of it; let's just take it somewhere else!" To the Demi Saiyan's confusion, his opponent just started chuckling. "What's so funny?"

"Just the sight of a sentimental Saiyan bewilders me," Rancor replied. "You think just cause you seem different from your savage race that I'll be swayed by your emotional words? Well guess what, it changes nothing! As long as Saiyan blood flows through your veins, I will destroy without hesitation; and I refuse to abide to the request of a simian!" The machine then punched the Saiyan in the face, making him fall backwards; Gohan quickly pushed himself back but was knocked to the ground by a skull bash from Rancor. The Tufflebot then grabbed the half Saiyan's leg and started slamming him on the ground repeatedly; the people watched in horror as this robotic brute mercilessly pummeled the young fighter. Rancor then slammed Gohan into the ground one final time before charging energy into his right fist; he struck the Son of Goku with it, causing a massive tremor from the force. When he removed his fist, Gohan laid in the dirt practically beaten. Rancor then held up the boy by his leg. "Ah, the only thing more gratifying than causing a Saiyan's suffering, is knowing that somewhere in the Otherworld the Tuffles are watching with delight."

"Hey you, release that kid immediately! Stand down or we will fire!" one of the Rune Knights warned the machine as he and his troops aimed their spears at him; when he didn't listen, "Alright then, fire at will!" They shot multiple magical attacks at the Hatchiyak but they did nothing to faze him, only annoy him.

"Bothersome pests! Begone already!" he said as he waved his hand, sending a force of wind to blow the knights away. "I'll deal with you once I've finished off the Saiyan."

"I told you to leave them out of this fight," Gohan muttered.

"What's the matter Saiyan? Can't bear to watch these innocent people get hurt?" Rancor asked mockingly. "Well then, allow me to end your suffer," the Tufflebot conjured a red energy blast in his right hand as he held Gohan in his left. "Goodbye Saiyan child," At that moment Rancor's energy blast dissipated as he felt his power fluctuate. "What's happening?" He glanced at his chest gem and saw an Oracion number seal on it. "A seal? It can't be!" Using this moment of hesitation, Gohan came to his senses, brought his hands to his face and shouted "Solar Flare!" The sun technique blinded the Tufflebot, allowing the Demi Saiyan to kick himself free and press his hands on Rancor's chest; with a mighty yell, he unleashed a kiai that blew the giant machine a great distance away. (A/N: Like what Future Trunks did to Imperfect Cell.) The 1st Super Saiyan Two immediately flew after the war machine and caught up to it before throwing punches at it; Rancor blocked all of them and attempted to knee the hybrid in the gut, only to be surprised when Gohan caught his knee with his left hand and then with his right, punched him in the face sending him soaring again. Gohan then fazed over Rancor to strike him with a kick but he quickly disappeared and reappeared above the Z Fighter and fired an energy blast at him. Gohan deflected it but then sensed something behind him; he looked back to see Rancor, having used the instant transmission technique to teleport behind, and was now preparing to launch a blast from his chest. "Revenge Cannon!" Rancor announced as fired his signature attack.

"Energy Shield!" Gohan exclaimed as he protected himself with his barrier. "Trunks and Tyson still haven't recovered yet? Guess I'll to hold him off a little longer." Gohan thought as he dropped the force field when Rancor's blast dissipated. "Something's happened to Rancor's energy again; a few minutes ago, he was boasting about being able to use his maximum power, now it seems like he lost a portion of it after attacking me." The Tufflebot in question glared at the Demi Saiyan and charged to attack. Gohan braced himself but it was unnecessary as the time traveling Saiyan swooped in and kicked Rancor away from him. "Trunks!"

"Hope I didn't miss much?" the Swordsman said.

"Back for more Saiyan Prince? You should've stayed down!" Rancor said as he prepared to attack the lone warrior but was intercepted by Tyson kicking him back down.

"Tyson!" Gohan said.

"Now who said ya'll could start without the Chief?" the Cyborg joked.

"Half human scum, all of you!" Rancor declared angrily. "I'll wipe you all off the face of Earthland!"

"You guys sure took your time getting up again," Gohan pointed out.

"Sorry Gohan, wasn't expecting him to get the jump on us with that sudden power boost." Trunks said.

"Now where did that come from?" Tyson inquired.

"Seems like all of the seals restraining his power were broken and for an instant, he was able to overpower us." Gohan explained. "But now, he's lost some of his power and it's decreased a bit."

"So he got weaker?" Trunks asked.

"Not by much but yes," Gohan replied.

"I can feel it; ten percent of my power has been resealed." Rancor thought. "Could one of those Oracions still be fighting?" He then clenched his fists and smirked. "If you believe anything regarding your chances of winning have changed just because I'm not at full power, you're sadly mistaken." He started to say. "The three of you could barely handle seventy percent of my power and now I have access to ninety percent; that's more than enough power to exterminate the three of you in seconds!" Rancor roared as he revved up his energy, channeling a fiery green aura. "So get ready boys, because now I'm coming at you for real!"

"Looks like the gloves are off." Trunks said.

"Still think we can win city boy?" Tyson asked.

"We have to win!" Gohan encouraged. "If he's gonna fighter harder, then we'll just have to do the same!"As the two Demi Saiyans and the Cyborg powered up, a thought came to Gohan's mind. "If Rancor doesn't have full access to his power, which means at least one of the Oracions is still fighting against Fairy Tail." He thought. "I can sense the rapid growth of an evil power level, even more than the combat drug was capable of for a mage; I hope my guildmates will be okay without me," The Son of Goku turned his attention to the Tufflebot as he charged to attack the three Hybrids.

Below the Infinity Castle, many of the wizards were doing their best to sever the giant chains that were connected to the clock above; Gray, Erza, Gildarts, Byro, Gatman and the Legion Platoon minus Coco; however, progress was slow as each chain was incredibly durable, requiring a large amount of magic power to break and as many of the mages had exhausted most of their energy they were running on fumes.

"Aw, come on!" Gray complained. "How many more of these things do we have to destroy in order for this to work?"

"Warren, what's the situation?" Erza asked.

"More than half of the chains are still intact!" Warren answered through telepathy. "You guys have to hurry!"

"Right!" Erza as she jumped to sever another chain with the Holy Hammer. As she swung the weapon, a magic circle appears over the chain and repels the Fairy Queen away. "What is this?" She jumped at the chain to try again, this time the seal blew her backwards with even greater force than before; before she too far a flying white cat caught her. "Carla?"

"Are you alright Erza?" Carla asked.

"I'm fine." Erza replied. "How is Wendy?"

"Lady Solaseed is healing her right now; she should be back on her feet soon." The female exceed replied as she placed Titania down. "What's happening with chains?"

"I don't know, but something's not right." Erza stated. "Warren, something's preventing me from severing the rest of these chains; whenever I attack, an unknown force repels me away!"

"What?! Are you serious?!" the telepath questioned. "Hey, is anyone else having problem cutting the chains?"

"Yea! My attack is thrown back at me!" Gray said.

"Same here!" Gildarts replied.

"Me too!" Juvia said.

"My magic's not working either and all it does is make things go boom!" Gatman said.

"None of us are cutting any more chains." Byro stated. "Someone is casting some kind of reflector spell to protect the chains!"

"Damn! What's going on?!" Warren inquired before he felt something and started grasping his head in pain. "Uh, it hurts!"

"Warren, what's wrong?!" Erza asked. "What should we do about the chains?"

"Don't bother, none of you will sever another chain," a voice tells everyone.

"What was that?" Gray asked.

"One of the enemies seems to have hacked Warren's telepathy!" Erza stated. "Are you the one protecting the chains?!"

"Yes, I am Doryu the Demon King and I have taken over the operation of fully casting the Real Nightmare." Doryu introduced himself.

"D-Doryu?! Impossible, you were sealed deep with the Infinity Clock centuries ago by the Legion Platoon of that Era!" Byro exclaimed. "There's no way you could escape your prison, even with the clock's activation!"

"You know this guy Byro?" Gildarts asked.

"So, one of you pathetic mages knows about me, my reputation precedes me." The Demon said. "It's true, I wouldn't be able to free myself at first, but as the dark magic spreads and the seals began to weaken and fade away, my spirit continued to grow stronger. All I needed was for someone to take my place in that void; luckily, there was a certain Celestial mage whose mind was being absorbed by the clock as every second passes."

The Fairies and the Zentopian mages eyes became wide as they realized who Doryu was referring to."LUCY!"

"With her in my place all I needed was to find a valuable host to posses, the one known as Midnight was happy to oblige." Doryu explained. "Now with this new power and the Infinity Clock under my command, I will finish what I started all those centuries ago and no one can stop me!" Everyone listening in felt a dark chill run down his or her spines from Doryu's magic power as the telepathic message ended.

"This just got a lot worse didn't they?" Gray asked.

"What can we do?" Erza inquired.

"There's nothing we can do," Byro stated. "If Doryu really has merged with the Oracion head, then the end is truly upon us."

"Don't throw in the towel yet pal, we got this far and we can't stop now!" Gildarts said.

"You don't understand, if the situation wasn't hopeless before, it is now." Byro said.

"That's where you're wrong!" Gildarts shot back. "It's been hopeless from the start, but that didn't stop us and it certainly won't stop that hothead Dragon Slayer!"

"Natsu has gone up against impossible odds, and he always comes true." Erza said.

"As long as Lucy still needs help he won't stop fighting and neither will we!" Gray exclaimed.

"Now let's see what we can do about the rest of these chains!" Gildarts yelled. The Fairies immediately attempted to smash the chains fighting against Doryu's magic circles; Byro watched them for a few moments before following their lead along with his fellow legionnaires.

Meanwhile inside the main chamber of the Infinity Castle…

The Demon King stares down the Fairy Tail mages, Coco and the Demon Slayer as he held Black Steel by the hair. "Who the heck are you?!" Natsu asked before taking a few whiffs. "Wait a minute, that smell, it's a different but I recognize it …you're Midnight!"

"That's the Oracions' boss?" Elfman asked.

"Why does he look so different?" Coco questioned.

"I am no longer just Midnight nor am I Brain II, I am the new vessel of the Demon King, and I have been reborn as a new Oracion! King Doryu's spirit flows through me, granting me more power than I ever dreamed! We are now Zero II!"

His introduction got everyone to look at the Demon King, unimpressed. "Seriously?" they asked. Mirajane then jabs a finger at the Oracion and said "I don't care who you are but are you the reason the final seal is still active?!"

"Yes, Midnight hasn't given just yet, so that seal isn't breaking anytime soon." Doryu replied. "Which means you won't be saving that Celestial mage anytime soon."

"That's what you think! Fire Dragon Roar!" Natsu let out a breath of flames; Doryu just held out his hand and simply dispersed the flames with a magic circle.

"Don't waste your breath Salamander, you're fellow Dragon Slayer already tried and was the first to get a taste of our new power and he barely survived!" Zero II stated before holding Gajeel up. "By the way, you can have him back!" The Demon King threw the Iron Dragon Slayer towards his allies; Natsu quickly jumped and caught him.

"Hey, Gajeel! You okay?!" Natsu asked the Son of Metalicanna.

"H-Hey Salamander, told you I beat the Head Oracion," Gajeel managed to reply before passing out.

"Yeah, nice, work metalhead," Natsu said to him. "Now you just rest, I'll take it from here."

"You're just as foolish as always Salamander," Midnight stated. "This is the same condition you were in when you faced my father 7 years ago, battered, weakened and depleted of magic power; however, your situation is much worse. Time grows short and I do not intend to give you the slightest chance of victory! I'm going slaughter every last one of you right now!"

"Oh yeah? Just try it!" Natsu challenged. Before anyone could do anything, the sixth Oracion crawled in between the Fairies and the Demon King. "Michelle, what are you doing?"

"So you're still alive Imitatia, these wizards may do whatever it takes to succeed but they certainly don't have the resolve it takes to kill their enemies, or perhaps they have a soft spot for the traitor who was considered to be one of them." Doryu said.

"Master Brain, please listen." The Deceiver pleaded. "I know that I've failed you but please, spare my big sister. I tried, but I can no longer ignore my sister's feeling; her heart cries out to me in pain, and mine breaks as a result. When I look at her now, I'm reminded of the time she was a lonely little girl after her mother died. I cannot let her suffer anymore, please let her go. She's my whole world; I am willing to anything, I'll find a replacement Celestial mage, I'll even take her place if that's what's required. Just…please let her go." Imitatia's eyes started to release tears as she looked up at her master. "My only wish, is to see her happy again." To her surprise, the Oracion head just started cackling at her request.

"It's ironic how someone who claims to be an expert in deception can be deceived so easily," Midnight said.

"What do you mean?" Imitatia asked.

"Did you really think that you're groveling would convince me to let the Celestial mage go? Or that I had any intention of sparing her at all?" Midnight inquired.

"I don't understand. What are you saying?" Michelle questioned.

"The Celestial wizard you wish to protect, the one that they're desperately trying to save, she's already gone; nothing more than a lost cause!" Brain II declares. "She could possibly survive a century long slumber, but she will actually become one with the clock; her mind and body merging with the Infinity clock completely. And when that happens, she will fade from the memories of those who love her dearly. Her very existence will be completely erased from this world!" This shocked all those who heard it especially Imitatia.

"No," Mirajane muttered.

"Lucy," Natsu said.

"No, that can't be true. She's suppost to stay with me forever!" Michelle argued.

"But you don't understand, that can still happen." Midnight assured her. "She is simply going to change her, one that's more suited to our needs. You can still be with her. In fact, she'll be the perfect companion for someone as empty as you are. It's rather fitting don't you think? Exactly how you started out is what she'll end up becoming; meaningless doll."

Imitatia looked completely petrified from hearing of her sister's true fate. "No…no…my deepest wish…my one true prayer…" she dropped her sword as her despair continued to grow before it exploded. "THIS ISN'T WHAT I WANTED!" She tosses her rose shield over to the steps and begins to grapple herself towards Lucy. "SISTER!"

"What are you doing?" Coco asked.

"Stay away!" Happy yelled as he and athlete attempted to stop her.

"MOVE!" the Nature Demon ordered as she kicked the two aside. She takes her rose buzzsaw and slams it against Lucy's prison. "SISTER, PLEASE! FORGIVE ME! I'M SO SORRY!" she yells as she continuously strikes the crystal with her weapon; sparks flew all around her but the prison showed no sign of breaking. "Please…" she pleaded while shedding tears and smashing the crystal with her Wood Fist. Lucy's head budged to look upon her sister's sad face.

"Michelle…" She thought while remembering the times she spent with the sixth Oracion. "All of your tears…your appetite…your clumsiness…poor Michelle, you were suffering all along weren't you."

"How pathetic," Doryu laughed. "She was so desperate and weak that you were able to easily play her like a puppet on strings; she ended up doing more harm than good to her own sister."

Imitatia then turns to Doryu, her eyes filled with hate and anger; she started channeling a blackish rose like aura while gritting her teeth. "Let her go…YOU LET BIG SISTER GO RIGHT NOW!" she shouted as she jumped down from the steps and dashed towards the demon king. Doryu just waves his hand, releasing an airwave to reflect the Demon Slayer; Imitatia flips onto her feet and charges at Doryu again. She swings her sword madly at the demon who just evades it effortlessly before grabbing the blade with hand and shattering it. Imitatia remains determined and just summons her Oakenshield Armor. "Nature Demon Savage Claw!" she exclaimed as she reached to pierce for Doryu's eyes. The Demon King just grabs her wrist before it can reach his face and proceeds to crush it.

"Imitatia, you are no longer useful to me! You're hereby expelled from the Neo Oracion Seis!"Midnight declares as he punches her in the gut, shattering her armor; He the aims two fingers at her stomach, firing multiple dark beams that pierced her many times as she was sent crashing into the ground violently much to the horror of the Fairy Tail Mages, especially Lucy who had started to cry again.

Imitatia coughs up blood in the crater her brutalized body was laid out in while more blood spilled from her wounds. The former Oracion crawled out of the crater and gazed at her big sister's imprisoned form. "Big sister, I'm so sorry. I love you." She thought while weakly stretched out her hand, desperately trying to reach her one last time when she felt a sharp pain on her back; she glanced up and saw Doryu stepping on her grinning wickedly.

"Filthy little piece of garbage." Midnight mocked her. "You may have the body of a human but your love and devotion towards the Celestial mage is why you'll always remain a literal toy to be played with and discarded when you've been broken." The Oracion head proceeded to press harder on her back, making her cry out in agony. Brain II then raised his hand over the Nature Demon Slayer's head while channeling a black magic blast. "Goodbye Imitatia. Dark Nebu…"

"Fire Dragon Sword Horn!" Natsu roared as he burst into flames and skull bashed the Demon King off the Mistress of Deception. Doryu reeled backwards then stopped to look at the Dragon Slayer who glared back at him while standing over the former Neo Oracion member. "You monster…" Natsu growled. "You really think other people's suffering is something to laugh at?! That it's a joke?! Well get ready, cause things about to get real funny for you pal!"

"Even now you intend to face me Salamander?" Doryu asked.

"Yes, we do!" Natsu replied as the Strauss Siblings appeared by his side.

"We may have beaten Michelle but our job isn't finished til we've freed Lucy!" Mira while entered her Satan Soul form.

"Let's do this!" Elfman said while entering his lion form.

"Romeo, Coco, Happy, watch over Gajeel and Michelle!" Natsu ordered.

"Okay," Happy replied.

"Come on guys, let's get him!" Natsu said as he flared up and rushed at the Demon King. "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" He swung his fist at the Oracion Head.

"Beast King Smash!"Elfman shouted as he jumped over Doryu and brought his fists down.

"Darkness Fist!" Mira yelled as she threw a punch infused with dark magic.

Doryu just scoffs and calmly says "Full Counter!" while swiping his hand, using Midnight's Reflector Magic, sending the Fairy Tail Mages flying backwards; they crashed into the castle walls, suffering more damage to their already injured bodies. The three mages were barely conscious as the Demon King towered over them. "My power is beyond your comprehension little fairies." He told them. "You couldn't hope to defeat me at your peak, let alone your crippled state. The Oracion Head glanced at his hand as it started to glow gold. "Hmm, this Ki seems to boost my magic power to even greater heights then I ever thought possible; I think I'll give this new power ago, by finishing off you insects right now!" Doryu then raised his fist imbued with Ki and punched the ground.

The floor cracked as a gold light erupted from underneath, consuming nearly everyone; the ground the exploded as those who could move tried to escape. When it passed, only Doryu was still standing, completely unharmed and before him was a large crater leading downward. The Demon King looked up to see three exceeds holding three mages in their paws. "I'm impressed; I didn't think there was time to dodge." The Oracion praised them before smirking. "Though, it doesn't look like your friends were so lucky."

Above the dark mage was Happy holding Romeo, Pantherlily with Gajeel and Samuel carrying Coco. "Lily! Samuel! What are you guys doing here?" Happy asked.

"We weren't having any luck cutting the chains thanks to those reflector spells, so we came here to help!" Lily replied.

"Thanks guys." Romeo said before realizing something. "Wait, where are Natsu and the others?"

"I don't see them. Did you guys already take them to safety?" Coco asked which made the exceed brothers look away in shame.

"Even by my calculations we only had enough time to grab three of you and you three were the closet…" Samuel explained.

"No, you can't mean…" Romeo started to say while staring at the hole. His eyes then turned to the Demon King, full of anger. "You bastard!"

"What's the matter boy, miss your friends already?" Doryu asked. "Well don't worry, you'll all be joining them soon enough!" The Oracion channeled a blast mixed with Ki and magic perfectly, prepared to fire it at the mages, and exceeds. Just then, someone burst out of the hole in the floor and shouted "Super Breath Cannon!" firing a powerful beam of energy right at the Demon King. "Alright who did that?!"

The Demon's question was answered when two beings surrounded by Ki flew straight out of the hole to the ceiling where they joined the first being who had attacked Doryu, each one carrying one or two of the unconscious mages that were caught in the previous attack; hovering over everyone was the infamous Indian Knight Trio with Natsu and Elfman in his arms of Hugo, Mirajane with Weinheidt and Jillian carrying Imitatia. "That would be us demon!" the Lieutenant replied.

"Hey, it's those guys with Tyson!" Happy exclaimed.

"The Indian Knight Trio!" Lily said.

"Look! They managed to save the others!" Coco said.

"Even Michelle!" Romeo added.

The disciples of Tyson stared down the leader of the Oracions who was glaring back at them. "So, even the magic council's elite knights have come to stop me, but it's futile!" Brain II declared. "With Doryu's essence flowing through me, I have attained a power greater than any mage in Ishgar!" To prove his point the Demon King revved his Ki, releasing a strong gale force that shook the exceeds and their passengers but did not faze the Indian Knights.

"Weinheidt, analysis!" Hugo said to his comrade.

"His energy feels different and a bit unstable, but I'm certain that this is the same Brain II that I face at the Cathedral." The hunter reported.

"His power seems to be growing exponentially," Jillian observed. "Can we really defeat him like this?"

"Do not let his theatrics fool you." Hugo assured them. "His power may seem impressive but it was acquired through dishonorable means. We have spent years training with Chief Tyson to get where we are now, and it's that true power that will make us victorious. But first…our top priority is getting the injured to safety."

"Cowards, stop your whispering, come down here and fight! It doesn't matter what you're planning, you're all going to die!" Doryu promised as he continued to power up which still failed to daunt the Rune Knights.

"Doesn't look like he'll make that easy for us." Jillian said.

"They never do," Hugo stated. "But that just makes it harder for them."

"So true." Weinheidt smirked and asked. "So, what's the plan Lieutenant?"

"Jillian, take the wounded and lead the others back to the Zentopian base; make sure you keep the Oracion spy restrained at all times." Hugo instructed the Combat Healer. "Weinheidt and I provide cover so you can escape."

"Are you sure you guys can handle him without me?" Jill inquired.

"Don't worry; even if we can't win we can hold him here til you return to aid us." Hugo guaranteed.

"Just don't take too long, or you'll miss all the fun." Weinheidt joked.

The Corporal nodded as she created Ki wire to carry the Fairy Tail wizards and to bind Imitatia; she then floated back as her comrades descended to ground level. Doryu raised an eyebrow and grinned wickedly. "Have you finished planning little Knights?" he asked.

"Something like that demon! Now get ready, you're about to feel the power of the Indian Knights!" the former Cedar Knight declared as he started channeling a malicious aura. "Overpower!" He extends his hands towards the Oracion, encasing him in the same aura. "Weinheidt, get ready to attack while he's paralyzed!"

"Sure thing boss!" the Hunter complied as he summoned a Ki-Arrow; after charging it for two minutes, he shouts "Power Shot!" and fires the attack at leader of the Oracion. To the Knights surprise, the Demon King just swatted the attack away. "No way!"

"But how? You should be paralyzed!" Hugo said.

"I can feel it, your grief, your spite, all your negative emotions flowing through your magic," Doryu stated as he examined the aura. "While this spell would be effective on inferior foes, I am a being that commands darkness itself!" He then powers up, erasing the aura around him repelling Hugo backwards before he was caught by Weinheidt. "As you can see such a spell will not work on me."

"He's tougher than I thought," Hugo said.

"So, what's plan B boss?" Weinheidt inquired.

Before they could discuss that further, Doryu started channeling his own malicious aura. "Quite an interesting spell you've shown me; hope you don't mind if I try it out." The knights braced themselves as it seemed like the Oracion would Overpower on them; to their surprise, the Demon King directed his left hand upward, performing his new technique on their Combat Healer. Jillian groaned as she felt a sudden force immobilize and pull her to the ground along with the mages she was carrying.

"What?!" the male knights asked in confusion.

"Did you really think I couldn't see what you were planning?" Doryu questioned. "I won't let anyone escape fools! Those who oppose me will die!" He then formed a dark green blast in his right hand and prepared to throw it.

"Weinheidt, now!" Hugo yelled.

"On it!" the hunter replied as he aimed another arrow at the demon. "Solar Flare Arrow!" The arrow flew right in front of Doryu and exploded in a flash of light; having been right in front of arrow and his eyes took the full force of the blinding projectile and covered his face in agony. "That's your cue Jill! Get going!"

"Right!" Jillian replied before quickly flying over to the Exceeds. "All of you follow me, we're leaving!" The others nod in understanding and proceed to fly after her.

His vision soon recovered and spotted the mages fleeing. "Going somewhere?!" he yelled as he jumped to intercept them; but Lieutenant Hugo appeared in front of the Demon, blocking his path. The Cedar Knight aims his hand at the Oracion and fired multiple energy blasts at him. While Hugo attacked his front, Weinheidt fired multiple Ki Arrows at his back; Doryu then lets out a wave of dark magic that repels the attacks before looking around to see that the Corporal and the others were gone. Hugo and Weinheidt regrouped and prepared to go all out.

"Judgment Slash!" Hugo shouted as he unleashed numerous Ki slashes at the enemy.

"Dynamite Arrow!" Weinheidt exclaimed while firing another Ki arrow at Doryu.

Both attacks collided with the Demon King and exploded; when the smoke cleared Doryu was still standing with his hand out and channeling magic throughout his whole body. "Very impressive little knights, your reputation as the council's best enforcers aren't highly exaggerated." The Oracion praised the knights.

"Trust me, you have yet to see what we can really do!" Hugo promised.

"As intriguing as it would be to test my powers against yours, I'm afraid I'll to refrain from fighting you any further." Doryu said. "But don't fret; I'll have the perfect opponents ready for you in a minute."

"Don't mock us demon! We're here to fight you and put an end to this madness!" Hugo yelled furiously. Doryu gives no reply and disappears only to reappear beside the imprisoned Celestial mage. "What are you doing? Get away from that mage!"

Doryu materializes Lucy's gate keys and examined them. "Ten zodiac gate keys, to think that another mage could handle these many of those celestial spirits." He said before inspecting Lucy's face. "I recognize your bloodline; you're a descendant of Anna Heartfilia. How ironic, that that wretched woman of the stars was responsible of sealing me away into that clock with the help of the Legion Platoon's predecessors 400 years ago and even summoned the Celestial Spirit King Arcturus, would be the one to take my place and bring about this world's end through her own descendant. It's almost poetic karma; a shame she isn't here to see her own child's despair."

"Step away from the girl now!" Weinheidt warned the demon while aiming a Ki Arrow at him.

Doryu obeyed when vanished again and reappeared behind the disciples of Tyson, holding all of Lucy golden gate keys. "I thought observing the basics of Celestial Spirit summoning from Angel would come in handy one day." Midnight muttered.

"Hey! Those aren't yours! Give them back!" Weinheidt ordered.

Sorry, but I'm afraid that's not going to happen," Doryu said as he pointed at the knights and smiled excitedly. "You see, I need them in order to conduct a special experiment…and you two are the test subjects." The he then used telekinesis to present the keys before him and inspected them. "Hmm, ah yes. These will do for now," he then picked out four keys from among the ten and held them in between the fingers of his right hand.

"What are you planning to do with those spirit keys" Hugo questioned.

"This!" Doryu replied as all four keys started emitting an emerald light. "Open, Gates of Corruption! Four Knights of the Apocalypse!" A demonic sound of a haunting chime echoed through the room as the keys exploded in green demonic light that blinded the Indian Knights.

"What's happening?!" Weinheidt asked.

"This magic…it can't be!" Hugo thought.

When the light died down, the Knight for of Lucy's Celestial Spirits standing in front of Doryu but their appearance was different than usual; the lion zodiac wore a black and gold plate armor with a blue cape and had incredibly long spiky hair that stopped at his upper back. The maiden wore a militaristic black jacket with gold-colored edges, a dark brown belt, a black mini skirt with white tights underneath and a pair of black thigh-high heeled boots. The Bull wore a black suit with golden buttons, a pink tie, and golden dress shirt underneath his suit, brown loafers and a metal mask to cover his whole face. The archer now resembled a centaur wearing black pants, a gold belt, bandages on his arms and a quiver full of arrows strapped to his back. (A/N: Basic they're the Eclipse Spirits.) The four corrupted Spirits stared down at the Rune Knights, giving them menacing looks while receiving looks of surprise.

"Did he just?" Weinheidt asked.

"Yes, he summoned Celestial Spirits." Hugo growled. For a moment, Lucy's emotionless face changed into one of pure shock at the sight of her beloved spirits being summoned through dark means.

In the Celestial Spirit Realm, the Celestial Spirit King Arcturus growled in pure unadulterated rage as he clenched throne and his immense Magic power started shaking his realm after feeling his kin being engulfed by the Demon King's power and summoned to fight for him on Earth Land with the Gates of Corruption. "DOOORRRRRYYYUUUUUUUUUUUU!" he bellowed in fury.

"How do you like new squad of knights?" Doryu asked Hugo and Weinheidt. "The perfect replacement soldier to exceed the miniscule power of the former Neo Oracion Seis! And you will be the first to taste their dark powers!" The Demon King's evil expression seemed to falter a bit but it quickly went back to its original look. "Now my four black knights, go have fun to your heart's content with these 3 fools and after you slaughter them, go after with the rest of Fairy Tail, Legion Platoon or anyone else standing in my way!"

"It will be done King Doryu!" the Spirits complied as they charged at the Indian Knights; the disciples of Tyson Hammer charged up their Ki and clashed with the corrupted zodiacs.

The Exceeds Jillian had followed to the Archbishop's quarters where Lady Solaseed was using her Invigorate to heal Wendy, Laxus, Juvia and Jenny; they place their injured down beside the others while placing Imitatia to the side. "What happened to them?" Solaseed questioned.

"The last Oracion nearly killed them; my comrades are currently holding him off but I can't stay for long." The Corporal immediately starts casting her healing on the wounded fairies. "Their injuries aren't fatal but they'll take some time to heal, time I can't afford to spend here."Jillian thought. "I could use Hyper-Recovery to speed up their healing, but using it on all of would exhaust most of my Ki and I need every bit of energy I can save." As she continued to ponder on the situation, she felt surges of energy clashing outside the building. "Chief Tyson must be battling the enemy with those boys." She then senses Hugo and Weinheidt's Ki increasing along with four other power levels separate from Midnight's that was battling against her comrades. "My teammates are giving it their all in order to buy time for me to catch up. I have to get back to them fast."

After few more minutes of healing, Jillian halted the process and stepped away from the guild mages while wiping her forehead. "Alright, I've managed to stabilize them; I could only perform first-aid healing on them without using up a lot of my energy. Now I need to get back to help my friends; Miss Solaseed, can finish their healing for me?"

"Don't worry, I'm fighting here; I'll use whatever magic I can spare to help them recover." The Zentopian nun replied.

"Thank you," Jillian said gratefully. As she turned to leave, she felt something tugging on her cape; she looked back to see the Son of Igneel awake and holding her cloth with a weak arm.

"H-Hold on, I'm coming with you." Natsu said.

"Don't be absurd, you can't even stand right now." Jill said. "You're in shape to fight; you'd just get in the way."

Solaseed places her hand on the Salamander. "You've done more than enough fighting lad, now just rest and leave to the others." She told him.

"No!" Natsu says as he sat up. "I promised Lucy…that I'd save her. That means not just standing around and letting others do it. She's a member of Fairy Tail and we came here to bring her back to the guild; I don't care if I'm injured or if the bad guy's much stronger than me, I ain't gonna rest til Lucy's smiling with everyone again."

The Corporal stared at the Dragon Slayer who forced himself to stand and look her in the eye; she could very well see his determination to continue fighting. "I could easily knock him out, but I doubt he'd stay down for long. I can feel his strong spirit and the Chief always said what matters most is the spirit of will." She thought before sighing and saying "Alright, you can come. But let me do this first." She raises her at the Fire mage and chants "Hyper-Recovery!" In an instant, she begins to channel energy that engulfed Natsu's body; when it passed the Fire Dragon Slayer was in peek condition and ready for action. "There, you should back at full strength now."

"Awesome, I'm not hurt anymore!" Natsu exclaimed. "Thanks. Now I'm all fired up!"

"Let's go." Jillian said. Just as the two headed towards the entrance, Imitatia staggered in their path. "She can still move?"

"Michelle, get out of our way." Natsu growled.

"Please…let me come too." The former Oracion requested. "I want…to help save Lucy."

Everyone there looked at the Nature Demon Slayer questionably. "Why should we trust you?" Romeo inquired. "You've already deceived once before; you're reason Lucy's in danger to begin with."

"For all we know you could be planning to aid Midnight in ensuring the Infinity Clock remains in activated." Pantherlily accused.

Michelle looked at each of the mages before falling to her knees and bowing her head in pleading. "I know I betrayed and used all of you to perform devious acts, and that I allowed my selfish desire to guide my actions even when we were suppost to be helping others; but one thing has always remained true, I love my big sister! And I desperately want to protect her!" The Mistress of Deception dug her fingers into the ground and tears fall from her eyes. "I still want to be together with Lucy, but I realize that I no right to have my wish fulfilled; so all I can do now is make she's back where she belongs and that's with Fairy Tail. After all of this is over and Lucy is safe, I will accept any punishment as repentance for my sins; but please…let me bring back Lucy's happiness! Let me save my big sister!"

Everyone could only stare at the Nature Demon Slayer's act of remorse; after a few moments of silence, Natsu walks over to Michelle and looks down at her. "Get up," he tells her. "Just know, this doesn't mean you're off the hook Michelle not yet, but for now, I'm willing to trust you; so prove to me that you do want make amends with your actions." The Son of Igneel then held out his hand and gave Michelle a determined look. "Let's go save Lucy."

The former Oracion stares at the fire wizard's hand before shedding a few more tears and accepting it. "Thank you Natsu." She said as she was pulled to her feet.

"Hold on, you're body's in no shape for another battle and I can't afford to exhaust anymore energy to heal you." Jillian stated.

"That won't be necessary," Imitatia said as she reached into her breast and pulled out a few seeds. She tosses them onto the ground where they expand into an enormous plant; the Nature Demon Slayer takes a deep breath, making a suction noise as the large vine turns into magic energy and flies right into her mouth. She swallows and immediately her wounds are healed and her stamina restored. "My power has returned; I can now fight again."

"How'd you do that?" Laki questioned.

"Nature Demon Slayer magic," Imitatia replied.

"We've wasted enough time, let's hurry and join my comrades." Jillian says.

"Yeah, I'm all fired up now!" Natsu exclaimed. The three turned to go back the way they came to where Doryu was keeping Lucy. "Time to get Lucy back!"

The Indian Knights were on the defensive as they faced the corrupted spirits while stalling for time. "Hammer of Darkness!" Leo shouts as he throws a powerful punch with the energy from his Dark Regulus; Lieutenant Hugo brandished his chakram blades and used them to block. The resulting clash had caused the ground Hugo stood on to crack and violently explode into a huge crater. "Lion spirit, cease your attacking! You can't allow yourself to be a slave to that demon!" Hugo tried reach out to the Zodiac commander. Loke ignores him as he charges up another punch and strikes the Indian Knight in the face, sending him reeling into a wall.

Hugo prepares a counterattack when a purple chain grabs his wrists; he looks over to see the chains were from Virgo before noticing Leo and Taurus about to attack him simultaneously. However, they were stopped in their tracks by four dynamite arrows that detonated and blasted them away from Hugo. Virgo looks to her right to see Weinheidt aiming two arrows at her; he fired one, severing the chain around Hugo's wrist then fired the 2nd one right at her before another arrow deflected it.

Weinheidt looked over to see Sagittarius aiming his own bow and arrow at him; the Specialist quickly pointed his arrow at the centaur. They fired their arrows at each other, having them just collided and explode on contact. At one point, Weinheidt didn't fire an arrow and let Sagittarius' arrows pass right through him; this surprised the spirit archer before Weinheidt faded from his sight. "An afterimage," the centaur said before he turned to find the Indian Knight preparing to fire three arrows at him. Sagittarius reacted by using his bow to swat away the arrows aside before punching the Indian Knight away. Weinheidt landed on his back just as he noticed Taurus charging towards him; the hunter evaded the bull and was soon standing back to back with his superior. "These guys aren't messing around huh?" Weinheidt stated. "They're a lot stronger than expected."

"Indeed, Doryu must've fueled their keys with a portion of his own dark energy when he summoned them." Hugo speculated.

"Do you think we can still hold them off til Jill gets back?" Weinheidt inquired.

"We're about to find out!" Hugo answered as he saw Virgo swing her whip towards the two Knights. Loke and Sagittarius followed her lead by throwing their own attacks at the knights as well; before the attacks could hit their mark, a protective barrier appeared around the men, deflecting the attacks. The barrier faded and the third disciple of Tyson descended right beside her teammates.

"Hey guys, miss me?" Jill greeted.

"So, one of the pests that flew away has returned. I hope that means things will get interesting." Doryu said.

"Welcome back Jill, sure took you long enough," Weinheidt said.

"Sorry about that, didn't mean to keep you waiting." Jillian replied.

"I was hoping you'd come back with reinforcements, we could use some strong mages right now." Hugo commented.

"I not sure about reinforcements, but I did manage to bring a couple of strong mages with me." Jillian said. "I kinda sped ahead of them, but they shouldn't be too far behind." Right on cue, the Dragon Slayer and the Demon Slayer descended to ground making themselves known to the others. "Here they are."

"Hey, it's the fire mage from before!" Weinheidt stated. "Looks like he's healed and back in action!"

"Salamander huh? While I'm not all that confident that his power will tip the scales in our favor, this is better than nothing." The Lieutenant said before noticing the Mistress of Deception. "Isn't she..?"

"She's here to help us." Natsu said bluntly.

"But she's one of them." Weinheidt said.

"She's with us now!" Natsu said in a serious tone.

"Hmm, I see." Hugo said before thinking. "Jillian, a word?"

"Yes sir?" Jillian asked.

"Are you sure this is a wise decision?" Hugo inquired. "She's an Oracion; it's with her assistance that these demons were able to get to this point in the first place."

"She asked to be here; she said she wanted to make amends and rescue the Celestial mage." Jillian said. "She seemed genuine in her request to help; I could feel it in her emotions."

"Can we trust her?" Hugo asked.

"Honestly, I'm not sure; I'm not used to bad guys switching sides like this," Jillian answered. "However, Natsu seems like he's willing to give her a second chance and…I think I am too."

The Cedar Knight didn't respond at first but then said "Very well, I'll accept her assistance…for now." Jillian nodded as their telepathic conversation ended.

"So, what's the verdict Lieutenant sir?" Weinheidt asked.

"She's going to assist us." Hugo replied.

"Got it!" the hunter said.

Doryu smirked at the sight of Fairy Tail's Fire Dragon. "Ah, how nice of you to return Salamander; I was afraid we wouldn't a chance face each other again." The Final Oracion then looked over to see his former lackey standing. "Imitatia, did you come back to beg for your sister's freedom again? Or maybe you wish to rejoin me so that you can stay with her forever."

"I'm here…to take Lucy back!" Imitatia replied.

"Take her back? That's an interesting way to word it, because that would indicate that I took her from you; but we both know that's not the case." Midnight stated. "You gave her to me."

"I remember," Michelle said regrettably.

"Then you know that you cannot take back what you've given up." Midnight said with a sneer. "She's mine now! You no longer have any right to claim her!"

"Don't listen to him Michelle!" Natsu said.

"No, he's absolutely right." Imitatia said. "I've lost the right to call myself Lucy's sister; I can't imagine that she'll ever forgive me for what I've done. But still, I have to do this; I took away my big sister's happiness, now I have to get it back!"

"Even if yours is sacrificed in the process?" Midnight inquired. "Even if you manage to save the Celestial Mage, she'll turn her back on you; you'll be cut off from her life, like you never existed. She'll enjoy her comfortable old life again and you'll be nothing more than a forgotten memory once again, is that what you want Michelle?"

Imitatia glanced down, a bit saddened by that possibility before looking at her former master in the eye and replied "That's not my name. And if ensuring Lucy's safety and happiness means we'll be apart forever…then so be it!" She then brings out her flower shield and rose sword.

"You are a fool Imitatia, but if that's your choice then my knights will destroy you along with these vermin." Doryu sneered.

That's when the Dragon Slayer and Demon Slayer fully took noticed of the dark spirits standing before them. "Who are these guys?" Natsu questioned.

"Don't you recognize Salamander? They are your friends after all." Midnight said.

"Wait a minute, those scents." Natsu said. "It can't be!"

"They're overflowing with dark power but they're exactly who you think they are." Imitatia said.

"N-Natsu," Leo stammers.

"Loke? Virgo? Taurus? Horse-man?" Natsu questioned.

"What have you done to big sister's celestial spirits?" Imitatia asked.

"I took the liberty of employing them into my guild, since I'm in the need for new members." Brain II explained. "I'll think they'll make excellent replacements."

"But they're Lucy's spirits; they're her friends! Our friends!" Natsu yelled. "How can you take that away?!"

"Hurts doesn't it Salamander, having everything you hold sacred ripped right out of your very hands." Midnight said as his face made a frown. "Good, because that's exactly the pain I felt when my father was taken from for seven years; I've sacrificed much for power and I intend to use it to ensure you lose everything you value!"

"N-Natsu," Virgo said.

The Dragon Slayer gritted his teeth as his body ignited immensely; he charged towards the eclipsed spirits; they readied themselves for an attack only for to be surprised when the fire mage launched himself over his friends then rushed right at the Demon King. "Fire Dragon Wing Attack!" he swung his arms unleashing torrents of flames from his hands. The Head Oracion countered using his reflector spell to throw the flames and the Fire Dragon backwards; just then, Imitatia appeared in Natsu's path with her shield out. "Natsu!" she yelled and the Dragon Slayer reacted accordingly. He turned himself in midair, landing feet first on the flower shield before using it as a springboard to launch himself right back at Midnight. "Fire Dragon Sword Horn!" the Son of Igneel exclaimed as he skull bashed the big guy in the chest.

"Heh, I barely felt that!" Doryu stated.

"How about this?! Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Natsu shouted as he socked the Oracion in the face with his fire fist.

The Demon King just glazed at the Dragon Slayer who was gritting his teeth; Doryu channeled dark energy into fist before smashing Natsu with it, pinning him to the ground. "Really Salamander, is this the best you and that worthless doll…" he was cut off when he noticed Imitatia blitz towards him and tried to slash him repeatedly with her Nature Devil's Savage Claws, forcing him to back away from Natsu. The Demon King summoned a Demonic Sword of Darkness to parry and block all of Imitatia's series of wild slashes. "Hmm, this is the first time I've seen Demon Slayer magic since my imprisonment 4 centuries ago," Doryu thought. "And thanks to the memories of the Neo Oracion Seis, I know she's not the only one who wields this lost magic." Imitatia interrupted his thoughts by uppercutting Doryu in the chin with her Nature Demon Wood Fist; she prepared to attack him again but he recovered and used his Evil Breath to blast the Nature Demon Slayer away. Imitatia held up her shield and dug her feet into the ground, making a trench as she struggled to withstand Doryu's attack. She then swung her sword, deflecting Doryu's breath attack before summoning her vines to strike her former master. Doryu created a shield of dark magic to protect himself then used his Darkness Weight to hold the Nature Demon Slayer down.

Just as the Demon was about to strike again, the Son of Igneel jumped back into the fray channeling fire and lightning into his right fist. "Lightning Flame Dragon Firing Hammer!"He exclaimed as he hurled a stream of lightning enhanced flames at the Head Oracion, blasting him backwards. Doryu's body was smoking but there was no time to catch his breath as Natsu and Imitatia appeared at his sides. "Lightning Flame Dragon's Roar!"

"Nature Demon Rage!" Both Slayers unleashed their breath attacks at full power onto the Demon King who was then engulfed in a huge explosion; when it passed, Doryu was smoking again and letting off sparks of electricity but was still on his feet not showing the slightest sign of pain. Before either Slayer could react, Doryu yelled "Spiral Pain!" hitting his enemies with a strong vortex that knocked them to the ground. Doryu laughed wickedly as he watched Natsu and Imitatia struggle to rise again. "Aw, don't tell me you're both finished already, I was just getting warmed up."

"Damn, I knew he'd stronger than us but he's barely breaking a sweat against us." Imitatia thought. "How much power could he hiding? And do we really stand a chance against him if he decides to get serious?"

"Get it together!" Natsu yelled as he stood up. "We didn't come back here to lose; we promised we would save Lucy didn't we?"

Imitatia nodded as she stood up too. "You're right Natsu. I can't give up, I have so much to make up for." She agreed.

"How nice, you've acquired Fairy Tail's stubborn foolishness." Midnight said. "It will be your undoing." He then glanced at the Indian Knights and the Apocalypse knights. "I should probably do something about those three, they could actually pose a threat to me if they decide to just face me instead the spirits and five powerful mages with Ki could be quite the challenge for even my powers." The Oracion leader placed his hand on the ground; the room suddenly started shifting which unbalanced the good mages.

"What's happening?" Hugo questioned. Before he could receive an answer a large hole opened up in the wall; Doryu then sped towards the Indian Knights with his palms open. The Demon King struck Jillian and Weinheidt, hitting them with energy blasts and launching them into the hole before they could react. "Guys!" was all the Lieutenant had enough time to say before the Oracion opened his mouth and nailed him with a gack beam, sending him into the hole after his comrades.

"Finish them off!" Doryu ordered to the dark spirits while swiping his thumb across his neck.

"Yes master!" the spirits complied before jumping into the hole; all four went in and then it closed.

"What'd you do with the Knights?" Natsu questioned.

"Just sent them to another room that will soon become their graves." Midnight answered. "I wanted the chance to eliminate my personal enemy and traitorous puppet before unleashing my new powers on the rest of the world."

"Enjoy that power while you can, it won't do much for you once I burn you to a crisp!" Natsu said.

"Be sure to save some for me Natsu." Imitatia said. All three mages flared their aura and then rushed at each other to resume their battle.

Back outside the castle, the Hatchiyak was still proving to be quite the challenge for Gohan, Trunks and Tyson; the war machine threw a kick at the Android who grabbed his leg and held him in place. "Alright boys, let em have it!" Tyson yelled. The Demi Saiyans complied by charging the Tufflebot with their right fists ready; they threw their punches but Rancor caught them before slamming the Z Fighters together and blasting away with his eye beams. "Dog gone it!" Tyson shouted before he was kicked in the head by Rancor's other leg. The Tufflebot then grabbed Tyson by the throat before bringing out his energy blade and impaling the Red Ribbon Android with it.

"Tyson!" Gohan cried. Rancor then removed his blade and kicked Tyson aside. The Son of Goku charged at the Tufflebot and started punching at him; Rancor blocked the blows before grabbing the boy's arm and tossing him into Tyson and then firing an energy beam at them. Tyson quickly turned to shield the half Saiyan with his back just as Trunks appeared above Rancor with his hands together and slammed them onto the machine, sending it towards the ground.

"You alright there city boy?" Tyson asked Gohan.

"I'm fine." Gohan replied. "You know you should be more careful."

"Look who's talking, you just rushed at the big guy," Tyson commented. "Unlike me you're much easier to break and harder to replace."

"What's that suppose to mean?" Gohan asked.

"I wasn't built to be a frontline fighter; I'm one of many sacrificial soldiers the doc designed to die in battle." Tyson explained. "Meaning the only position in battle for me is shielding you and pretty boy."

"So what? You're saying that the life you made with your disciples means nothing?" Trunks asked.

"I'm an Android remember? A machine given life but not meant to really be alive." Tyson said. "The difference between you, them and me is that I'm expendable."

"I disagree," Gohan said.

"Excuse me," Rancor called to his opponents. "If you three are done cuddling, I've got a world to destroy!"

"Guess we'll have to talk about this later boys," Tyson dismissed. "Now does anyone have a plan?"

"Actually I do," Gohan said. "I'll charge at him and distract him, then Trunks will strike him from behind and then Tyson will attack from above and then we'll finish him off with a triple blast attack."

"Didn't ya try something like this with yer mean green mentor and bald friend?" Tyson asked.

"Yeah, didn't work out so well the first time," Gohan replied. "Follow my lead!" The Son of Goku flew straight at the Tufflebot with his hands to his face. "Take this Rancor!"

"Fool! I won't fall for that trick twice!" Rancor said as he covered his eyes. Seconds later he was hit by something and blown backwards; he looked and saw the Saiyan of Fairy Tail aiming his right hand at him and channeling Ki into his palm.

"Gotcha!" Gohan said as he fired another energy blast at the machine. Rancor blocked but was left vulnerable as Trunks appeared behind him and kicked him upward; Tyson then appeared over the war machine and struck him with a hammer fist, sending him right back at Gohan. "This time won't be like the last! Masenkoha!" The black haired half Saiyan fired his signature attack at the defenseless war machine. Trunks and Tyson did the same and there were three large energy blasts flying right at the Hatchiyak; after the impact and explosion, Rancor was still in the air protected by an energy barrier.

"I hope you weren't expecting that to work!" Rancor mocked.

"It was suppose to," Gohan muttered.

"Well anyone else got another plan of attack?" Tyson inquired.

"I've got a plan! Attack!" Trunks answered before flying straight at the Tufflebot. The Son of Vegeta threw multiple kicks at the red giant who blocked them before punching the time traveler in the jaw, Trunks shook it off and continued his assault. Gohan and Tyson revved up their Ki and joined in to attack with Trunks. Rancor blocked and deflected their blow until he released a kiai that blew the Demi Saiyans away; the Red Ribbon soldier struck the war machine in the face and tried to it with an energy blast, but it dodged the attack and kicked the Chief over to the rest of his adversaries.

"I will eradicate all who oppose me and the Tuffles!" Rancor declared as he crossed his arms and started charging up his Ki. "Now disappear! Revenge Cannon!" He finished and unleashed his most powerful attack, firing it at the trio. The three countered by firing their own energy blasts that merged together and clashed with Rancor's. The energy beams pushed against each other with the two sides appearing to be even; eventually the blasts erupted in a vast explosion that blocked the three's field of vision.

Just then, Tyson's sensors detected something moving fast right towards the Super Saiyans. "Watch out boys!" he warned them. Suddenly, Rancor materialized in front of the half-breeds and grabbed them by the throats before slamming and dragging them across the dirt. The two Z Fighters punched Rancor in the chin, making him release them and backflipped away from him. The two then rushed at the Hatchiyak as it charged pink electricity into his hands; he threw the attack at the Saiyans, striking them and engulfing their bodies, immobilizing them while zapping them with high amounts of voltage.

"What is this? I can't I move?" Trunks questioned.

"What did you do to us?" Gohan inquired.

"Just a little trick to hold you for a while," Rancor said before looking to face Chief Tyson. "What do you say Cyborg, wanna settle this machine to machine?"

Tyson descended to ground and stood to face Rancor one on one. "What's the matter big guy, not feeling so confident in your massive power?" the Chief taunted.

"While I'm still certain I could crush you three together, you have proven to be a decent challenge as a team. So it's best if I take you out separately," Rancor explained. "Besides, this benefits me more as it will allow me to stall for time the final Oracion is defeated and my power is fully restored."

"Don't count on it; just cause I'm alone doesn't mean I can't take ya!" Tyson said. "Sorry if you're ready to take on the Chief, then come on!"

"Very well Chief, I will dismantle you…piece by piece." Rancor promised.

"T-Tyson, no." Gohan groans.

The Super Android glances at the Demi Saiyans and gives a thumbs up. "You boys take a breather and let the Chief handle this." He said before powering up. Rancor did the same and the two rushed at each other, bumping fists as they engaged in battle.

Inside the main room, The Dragon Slayer and Demon Slayer were still battling the Demon King; he blocked and parried easily from the melee attacks of Natsu and Imitatia in all directions with his Demon Sword of Darkness, "Fire Dragon's Flame Elbow!" Natsu cried, boosting the striking power of the corresponding fire-imbued elbow bash to strike Doryu. But the Demon King blocked with his arm while parrying Imitatia's savage claws of Nature Demon Slayer Magic swiping at the same time, causing a crater to form under his feet from his opponents' strength enhanced by Ki. He then countered with a kiai shout that pushed them back several feet from him.

"Tell something you young Dragon Slayer, your power feels very similar to another's; are you the successor of King Igneel?" Doryu questioned Natsu abruptly pausing their fight.

"Yeah I am! Igneel's my dad and he taught the magic I'm about to use to kick your ass!"Natsu replied.

"Interesting, so where are the dragons now?" Doryu inquired.

"They disappeared some time ago." Natsu answered. "Why do you care anyway?"

"I see. I was hoping to exact my revenge on that meddlesome dragon but I suppose killing the Slayer he trained will have to suffice." The Demon said. "I could only hope Igneel will be rolling in his grave one he sees that I've sent his soon to meet him in the afterlife."

That pushed Natsu's buttons as he angrily flared up and started punching Doryu in the stomach, "Igneel's not dead, he's still out there waiting for me! And no what it takes I will find him!" He then increased his magic power and put it into his fists. "Dragon's Slayer Secret Art! Crimson Lotus: Fire Dragon's Fist!" The Dragon Slayer unleashed a rapid fire barrage of his fire-imbued fists onto the Demon King. Doryu diverted the blows with Reflector from his own body and then used Hellblaze Wave in the form of a huge jet black fire blast from his hand.

In response, Natsu charged up a golden ball of fire in his palms and focuses it into a blast in the direction of the release point that fires akin to a meteor. "Fire Dragon King's Brilliant Flame!"

The two attacks clashed and exploded in a massive explosion that rocked the Infinity Castle and was sensed by a few of the others, who were wondering what's going on after feeling a new evil presence. Back inside, a bit of the room had been reduced to rubble and ruin with Natsu and Doryu standing. Then Doryu disappeared and reappeared in front of Natsu where he punched him in the stomach with darkness-imbued fist; Natsu responded the same with his own bone crushing haymaker to the face.

The Demon King just grinned and punched Natsu's head into the ground so hard a huge crater was formed. Quickly, getting up Natsu retaliated with a powerful fire-imbued double kick to the stomach that briefly caused Doryu to buckle and step back in pain. Imitatia took this advantage by stomping on her feet the ground making the Head Oracion sink into the earth, intending to kill him by suffocating within the ground.

"Now die! Nature Devil's Soil Coffin!" she shouted.

"Dark Burst!" Before being buried alive, Doryu triggers a small but powerful explosion that freed him from the ground and sent Imitatia and also Natsu flying.

Dusting his clothes off, Doryu was amused and graciously said "Thank you both for the decent warm up," before adjusting himself with the body he shared with Midnight. Still enraged, Imitatia blitzed and attacked him repeatedly with her Nature Demon's Savage Claws but Doryu blocked and parried them before blitzing behind her and slashed her in the lower back, sending her crashing into the wall.

The black markings on Imitatia protected her from the impact and that intrigued the Demon King. "Interesting, this doll a shows much promise; and her Demon Slaying capabilities are impressive." He thought. "If I were to study her magic from her corpse and learned how to harness it, I could imbue humans that pledge their undying allegiance to me with magic and lead an army of demon powered soldiers once Earth Land is under the full affect of Real Nightmare."

Imitatia blitzed towards again Doryu and slammed him with her Savage Claw which he blocked but left him wide open for her roundhouse and upper kick combo that disoriented him. The female Demon Slayer put her Savage Claws together and slammed Doryu directly on the head and into the ground destructively.

Then Natsu jumped high to the ceiling, using it as a spring board and dived towards the Demon. "Dragon's Slayer Secret Art! Hidden Fire Form: Phoenix Sword!" he roared as he unleashed his attack to pierce through Doryu who recovered in time and just got to his feet while Imitatia moved out of the way to avoid getting caught in the blast. The attack struck its target only to reveal Zero II caught Natsu's spear-shaped flame attack with his bare hands and used Full Counter on the Son of Igneel to his face, leaving him greatly hurt as he was blown away and caught in Imitatia's arms.

"I commend you Slayers for managing engage me in combat for this long," Doryu said "However, it's a thousand years too soon for you to be on his level."

Natsu after getting on his feet declared "I don't care what level you're at; and anyone who threatens his friends is going dow-" but suddenly he felt very exhausted and fell on his knees.

"Something the matter Salamander?" Doryu inquired.

"Natsu, what's wrong?" Imitatia asked.

"I don't know, I'm just feeling weak." Natsu replied.

Imitatia soon felt it too and kneeled as her black marking receded from her body; the two started breathing heavily as if they were suddenly drained of their power and strength.

The Demon King saw their kneeling from exhaustion and smirked wickedly. "It's natural that those who oppose me know when to fold and acknowledge my supremacy." He gloated. The Son of Igneel and Nature Devil Slayer angrily glared at their adversary as they believed he had something to do with their current predicament.

"What did you do to us?" Natsu questioned.

"My innate Magic is called Vain," Doryu explained. "It gives me the passive ability to increase the burden of an opponent's abilities to limit their usage after every attack I've struck them with unless they break their limits or get replenish themselves. Combined with my Black Magic and Midnight's Darkness Magic and Reflector, we are an unstoppable unified being in synch."

Realizing they were struck by the Demon King a considerable amount of times when exchanging blows with him, Natsu and Imitatia become so exhausted they're on all fours and stubbornly try to resist and fight Doryu. Imitatia manages to overcome briefly and throws out one seed that grows into plant; before she can attempt to consume it Doryu fires a blast at her breaking her focus and knocking her onto her back. "Don't bother Imitatia, learn when to accept defeat! You've failed and now your sister will be gone forever!"

"No! I won't accept this!" the Mistress of Deception argued as she forced herself to stand out of love for her sister Lucy and drive to protect her. "I won't stop, not until I've restored my big sister's happiness! By ending yours!" With what little strength she could summon she rushed at her former master intending to deliver one last strike of her savage claw. The Demon King easily caught her wrist and crushed it before blasting her with Dark Spiral Pain, giving the doll unimaginable pain she never felt before; the sixth Oracion laid on the ground completely defeated as Midnight stood over her.

"Michelle, no." Natsu muttered.

"Imitatia, you're hereby expelled from Neo Oracion Seis. Dark Oblivion!" Brain II declared before giving her a cherry tap that causes the Nature Devil Slayer's body to explode with multiple holes even in her rose eye patch much to Natsu's horror and Lucy's grief when she saw it. Dropping her damaged body in the pool of blood it formed, the Demon King uses Dark Gravity to crush Imitatia, destroying the floors below and send her flying down to her death from the height of the Infinity Castle (like how Zero almost did to Natsu in Nirvana).

"No, Michelle," Lucy thought while shedding tears.

"You monster!" Natsu roared as he got to his feet. "I'll make you pay for that!"

"And how do plan on doing that?" Doryu questioned. "It's taking you all your remaining strength just to stand. How do expect to fight without any power?"

"No, Michelle," Lucy muttered which caught Midnight and Natsu's attention. "MICHELLE!" she cried in sadness, breaking her trance.

As she fell to her death down the giant floating castle unceremoniously, Imitatia began to cry as she thought "So this is the end for me, and I failed. I could protect my big sister or make her truly happy; I couldn't even make amends for how I betrayed her. I suppose this is how it has to be," she then heard Natsu roaring in rage at Doryu laughing and Lucy crying out for her. She slowly opened her eyes and aimed her hands upward. "Though this is the price I must pay, I must ensure that my sister's happiness and wishes are granted." The Nature Demon Slayer fired two yellow energy blasts towards the castle top.

"So the Celestial wizard managed to break her trance. Good, I wouldn't want to miss the look on her face after I kill you." Brain II said as he approached the Dragon Slayer; just as he raised his hand to strike Natsu a yellow blast hit him and surrounded him in an aura. "For the crimes committed against the demons I sentence you to death! Now die!" Midnight threw his fist at the fire mage who surprised him by catching right before flipping him over his shoulder and throwing into the wall. "What? How?" the Oracion questioned as Natsu glared at him. "I see, the traitor gave you the last of her Ki as she died. However, that energy you received means nothing since you still don't have the magic power necessary to fight me."

Natsu simply smirks at the demon "Is something burning?" he asked. Doryu soon smells the smoke and turns to see the plant Imitatia created had been set on fire just as Natsu begins to devour the flames. "Yeah, now I've got a fire in my belly that's raging to get out!"

"That traitorous doll, I should've killed you both sooner!" Doryu growled. "I'll make sure to finish you this time!"

"You're not gonna beat me that easily pal!" Natsu said as he reentered the Dragon Force only this time he channeled lightning along with his gold flames. "Lightning Flame Dragon Force!"

"Lightning and fire huh? I didn't think a Dragon Slayer could harness the power of two elements," Midnight commented. "It doesn't matter, you couldn't beat me with the traitor and you won't beat me without her!"

"We'll see about that!" Natsu growled as Imitatia's final words came into his mind. "Please Natsu, save big sister." The Son of Igneel shed a tear as he whispered "I will I promise." And then charged full speed at the Demon King who braced himself for the final round.

Outside again, Tyson was doing everything he could against the Hatchiyak while the Demi Saiyans could only watch. The Chief threw multiple punches and kicks at his opponent who just blocked every blow.

Rancor tried to counter but Tyson dodged his attack and flew away; the Tufflebot flew after him and was soon right on his tail, but just as he was about to grab him the Red Ribbon Android changed direction and flew upward to the heavens. Rancor followed him as Tyson stopped to wait; when the war machined to grab him again he duck and made a dive for the Saiyans. Before he could reach them he stopped himself and put his arms just as Rancor materialized before and threw a punch. The Cyborg blocked it before backing away. Tyson made another attempt to outmaneuver the Tufflebot but he intercepted him before he could get to the Z Fighters again. The Chief tried again by having the Hatchiyak to chase him all around the battlefield before throwing an energy blast at Rancor; the red giant deflected it and fired a few shots of his own.

Tyson evaded them and fired not at the Tufflebot but at the Saiyans; Rancor quickly teleported in front of the blast and smacked it away before taking a punch to the face from Tyson. The Chief then slammed the Hatchiyak into the ground and jumped towards the Saiyans but Rancor grabbed Tyson's ankle and threw the Cyborg away from the half-breeds. Tyson landed on his feet and glared at the machine. "Darn it! I can't get near them; even if I know where he's gonna appear it doesn't matter if I can't stop him from getting to them first!" Tyson thought. "Guess he really is tryin' to divide and conquer."

"I can tell by the look on your face that you're still trying figure out a strategy on how to get past me," Rancor said. "Well let me ease your mind by telling you that there is no getting past me! If you wanna get to the Saiyans, you gotta go through me!"

"Alright then big guy! Here I come!" Tyson said as he rushed at Hatchiyak and attacks; after throwing a few more hits the Chief starts to fly off again. Though confused, Rancor still chased after him and followed him around the area.

"You're still using the same tactic as before; I can easily tell what you're going to do!" Rancor said.

"Could you tell that I was going to do this?!" Tyson asked as he raised his hands over his head and conjured a massive S.S. Deadly Bomber. The former Red Ribbon soldier then threw his attack at the Hatchiyak. Rancor caught the spiral Ki ball just as Chief Tyson made a break for the Demi Saiyans.

"Oh I don't think so!" Rancor yelled as he added his own energy to Tyson's attack and hurled it back at the one who sent it. Tyson saw the attack coming and crossed his arms to defend against it. The Cyborg withstood the explosion but was left wide open when Rancor teleported beside him and punches so hard in the face that his neck gets twisted; Tyson quickly recovers and puts it back in place. "I told you, you gotta get right through me."

"T-Tyson, don't worry about us! Just take him down!" Gohan pleads.

"We'll be fine, but you have to stop him from destroying Earthland!" Trunks said.

"Well, you heard the Saiyans; now's your chance to take me out!" Rancor taunted.

"Alright then, now the gloves are off!" Tyson declared as he fired an energy beam at the Hatchiyak. Rancor dodged it and flew high above the Chief; he then surrounds himself in a large purple sphere of energy and dives towards Tyson with his fists forward. The Chief responded by putting up his own force field and charging at the Tufflebot; the two barriers clashed and pushed against each other, releasing sparks of electricity everywhere. They then separated and bashed at each other a couple of times before ending the scuffle by gaining some major distance and flying right into each other; Tyson's energy shield shattered on impact, allowing Rancor to ram into him and push him deep into the ground. After a few seconds Rancor jumped out and Android13 came out after him. "Damn, you really know how to play rough don't cha big guy!" Tyson said.

"Joke all you want half machine, but your situation remains the same, hopeless." Rancor said. "Without the Saiyans you lack the power to defeat me; all you're doing is prolonging this world's inevitable demise."

"You still think you're gonna destroy this world?" Tyson questioned.

"I will destroy this world." Rancor promised.

"Sorry pal, but the Chief's gonna have to disagree with you on that one," Tyson replied.

"And just how exactly do you intend stop me?" Rancor inquired.

"With a little gift the old doc gave his kids in case an opponent deserved more than an ass-whooping; and trust me this'll do the trick!" Tyson assured.

"Oh, a secret weapon? Consider me intrigued." Rancor said.

"Tyson, don't tell me you plan on using your bomb!" Trunks said.

This catches the attention of Rancor and Tyson. "I didn't ya knew about that pretty boy, but yes; that's the plan!" the Chief admitted.

"Tyson, no! You don't have to sacrifice yourself! There's got to be another way!" Gohan pleaded.

"I appreciate the sentiment city boy but there ain't much time left." Tyson argued. "If your buddies do to beat the last demon then Rancor will be at full strength again; that means the time to take him down for good is now, just like you said."

"Not if you'd have to kill yourself to do it!" Gohan replied. "We can't let you go through with this!"

"Sorry kid, but as long as ya'll are stuck, there ain't much you boys can do to save or stop me." Tyson said as Rancor began laughing.

"Self-destruction? That's your ace in the hole?" the Tufflebot asked. "Hate to ruin your hero moment but the Son of Goku already tried that when I was weaker; didn't work then and it's not gonna work now."

"Then you don't mind if I give it a try!" Tyson said as he crossed his arms. "Just give me a minute and then bang!" The Cyborg started channeling a red aura while releasing sparks of electricity; after a few seconds of charging, the Chief was suddenly struck in the right cheek by Rancor making him move back a bit.

"Forgive me my rudeness, but while I don't believe your little bomb will possess the power to destroy me, I have no desire to wait for you to fully energize it; so how soon you're dismantled depends on when you decide to fight back." Rancor continued to pummel the Chief with rapid punches but the Cyborg stood strong and continued his charging process. "So it's gonna take more to get you to break your concentration huh?" Rancor said as he paused and backed away from Tyson and pointed two fingers at him. "Then let's try this!" The Tufflebot fired a pink beam at the Cyborg that pierces his arm; Rancor continued to fire death bullets that pelted against the Red Ribbon Android repeatedly.

Tyson endures the barrage of energy beams but grits his teeth from the damage he was receiving; after a taking few more blasts the Chief grins as his body starts glowing. "Now I'm ready to blast you to Hell!" Tyson said before rushing towards the Tufflebot; before he could reach him however, Rancor held out his right hand and fired a Ki attack that suddenly engulfed Chief Tyson in a golden sphere of energy. "What the? What the hell is this?!" Tyson questioned as he tried to move but found himself immobilized. "I can't move!"

"That's one of Frieza's techniques!" Gohan stated. "It'll explode if it touches anything but Rancor!"

"That's right Monkey!" Rancor confirmed.

"Let me outta here!" Tyson demanded.

"Sorry brother, but I'm not giving you the chance to hit me with a suicidal attack in the slight chance that it might succeed." Rancor explained. "However, if you really want to experience death by bombing then who am I to deny your wish!" The Hatchiyak then kicks the Cyborg in a ball into the heavens before jumping after him; Rancor appears over Tyson with his hands together and slams them onto the imprisoned Chief and sending him hurling towards the earth at high speed. Tyson screamed as he descended to the ground before eventually crashing and setting off a tremendous explosion that stretched to the atmosphere; the paralyzed Saiyans were pulled in towards the eruption. When it ended, they were on the ground right in front of a massively deep trench.

"No, it can't be!" Gohan muttered.

"Tyson! Where are you Tyson?!" Trunks called out to the Cyborg.

"Don't bother, there's nothing left of him." Rancor said as he descended before the half-breeds. "I sensed his power level vanish during the blast; the half machine's probably at hell right about now."

Gohan gritted teeth as he forced himself to stand up. "YOU MONSTER!" the Son of Goku yelled as his aura exploded, breaking Rancor's paralysis and flaring up as he flew straight at the war machine and punched him in the face. Rancor was sent flying as Gohan chased after him and started hitting him with a multiple fist barrage. He then put his hands together and slammed them on Rancor's chest gem, knocking the machine to the ground; Gohan continued to pound on the chest, cracking it more and more with every strike. Rancor eventually grabbed Gohan's arms and blasted him with an energy beam from his mouth, pushing him upward. Gohan stopped himself and flew up higher before circling and diving towards the Hatchiyak with his fist out. Rancor did the same as he flew towards the Demi Saiyan. Just before they clashed, Gohan grabbed then held out his right arm and fires a huge energy blast at the war machine. Rancor attempts to catch it and is slowly pushed back to the ground.

Gohan continues to let out more of his energy into his blast that was steadily overwhelming the Tufflebot. Rancor was soon standing right on the ground while still trying to hold back the attack. Gohan roared as he pressed on, forcing Rancor to one knee which was when he decided to counterattack; he poured some of his own energy into the blast and then punched it, sending back to the boy. Gohan screamed as the blast flew right at him and made impact; the young Z Fighter was consumed in the massive explosion as Rancor and Trunks looked on in awe. "Gohan!" the time traveler cried out. After the explosion ended, Gohan was in the sky, his armed crossed for defense and his body smoking. He lowered his arms before passing out and falling to the earth; the Son of Goku fell into a deep crater.

Rancor smirked before looking at the angered Saiyan that was glaring at him. "And then there was one," he said as launched an energy wave at the half Saiyan, releasing him from the paralysis technique. "So how about it Saiyan? Ready to settle this one on one?"

The Son of Vegeta responded by flaring up his Ki. "I'll be sure to finish this and I'll make sure you pay for everything you've done!" Trunks swore as he took a stance.

A/N: Done, finally! Sorry for the long wait but the new things I'm starting to partake in are leaving me with less time for the things I enjoy doing.
