Chapter Two

So summer was coming to an end, but there was one event left before Hogwarts started its school year. The Quidditch World Cup was about to begin, and the Weasly family had tickets. They also had an extra ticket, which they intended to give to Ron's best friend, Harry Potter.
They showed up at the end of the Dursley's driveway on Privet Drive, and Harry was already waiting for them, sitting on the sideway in the shadow of a tree as he sweat profusely.
"Harry?" asked Ron. "How long have you been waiting?"
"Five hours," said Harry.
"Why?" asked Ron, perplexed.
…
Five hours Earlier
Harry was pushed out the door with his bags.
"Goodbye, Harry," said Vernon as he pushed. "Have a good time not being here!"
"But Uncle Vernon," said Harry. "The Weasly's won't be here for…"
Vernon: "GOODBYE HARRY! HAVE A GOOD TIME NOT BEING HERE!"
…
Back in the present
"He sent you out early," said Mr. Weasly, "Just to have more time to not be around you? What a horrible man."
Harry: "Get me out of here."
…
So Harry stayed with the Weasley's until the Quidditch World Cup. He loved it. The Weasleys were good people to be around, his best friend was one of them, and even something like clearing gnomes out of the garden was a lot fo fun. Sure, occasionally explosions came from the twin's room, which was apparently normal. Also he was certain Ginny still had a crush on him, despite her insistence that she was over him.
"No…really," said Ginny as they drop kicked gnomes over the fence. "I'm not interested anymore. Honest."
"You're turning red," said Harry.
"I'm fine," said Ginny.
"No seriously," said Harry. "You're skin is entirely…"
Ginny: "I'M FINE!"
But overall, his time at the Weasley House was great.
He couldn't wait for the Quidditch world cup.
…
So the Weasley's and Harry walked to where the Quidditch world cup would begin. They met the Diggory's as well, both Cedric as his father. Cedric was a Hufflepuff that Harry faced in a Quidditch match, the one where the Dementors came for him.
"And my Cedric won, didn't he," said Cedric's father.
"He got attacked by dementors," said Cedric. "It wasn't exactly a fair contest."
"But they didn't affect you," said his father.
"I had to watch Draco Malfoy do standup," said Harry. "That's what the dementors did to me. Justify Cedric's win now."
Mr. crossed his arms and thought about it.
Harry: "Well?"
Mr. Diggory: "I'm thinking! I'm thinking!"
Eventually he had to admit that it wasn't a fair contest. So far this day was going great for Harry. He figured nothing could possibly go wrong at the tournament.
…
Lucious Malfoy sat in the study of his mansion, drinking wine that poured from a bottle by itself before the glass floated from his hand, a fire roaring next to him.
Suddenly a head popped out of the fireplace in a skull mask.
"Luscious!" said the head. "Get your death eater mask! We're going to destroy things at the Quidditch world cup!"
Luscious: "Oh thank Voldemort! I am so incredibly bored!"
