Finally I'm done this chapter! I plan to write more chapters(I don't know how many) and I have more story ideas, but I'm also trying to write a book which I hope to finish at the end of the year, so my updates will probably be slow. Again, in this story Heatherfield is in America, and since I included the Harry Potter universe I want to incorporate things from the American Wizarding World but we don't have so much information, but I'll try to keep it as close to canon as possible. For WITCH, we also don't get a lot of information on things. I also want to put in things about CHYKN and previous Guardian generations as well as MAGIC and we don't get a lot of background info on them, so please tell me any ideas you have. The agents who almost kidnapped the Guardians were probably told about their powers, or else why would they try to kidnap little girls? I am also putting the Miraculous Ladybug universe in this story, because I love that show, though there will be changes to make it fit in the WITCH universe but I will follow canon as much as possible.
The Guardians of Earth were in Kandrakar, with Yan Lin, Karl Ibsen, Tecla Ibsen, Jeffery Brooke, Raphael Sylla, Riddle, Joel McTiennan, Maria Medina, and Nora Frieder. Ever since the six agents were told about the Guardians, they often met with the girls in Kandrakar in a room the Oracle set up especially for them, and whenever they had a meeting she also teleported them there. Usually, the Ibsens were there as well, since they were from Earth and the Oracle decided they should know what was going on so they could help in any way they can.
"Thank you all for coming," Yan Lin started. "We still have much to talk about, especially about Interpol's involvement. On a side note, I thank all of you agents for being so cooperative. Now, there's the matter of keeping the existence of magic secret, which does get more complicated the more people we tell. And there was the matter of the time a few years ago when the Guardians of Kandrakar were almost kidnapped by a large group of agents. We didn't erase those agents' memories so now we need to talk about erasing them now or letting those agents in on the secret." Yan Lin didn't tell them about Thomas Vandom as she had erased his memory.
"So far they all seem trustworthy," Meg said, "and we can use the Heart to make sure they stay that way,"
"Well," Jeffery Brooke said, "there is the matter of our bosses. They want proof of supernatural abilities and they are still looking. As for the other agents, as far as I know they are trustworthy."
"Well, I guess we'll have to pay them a visit," Meg declared.
"There's also the matter of the wizards," Yan Lin replied. "I introduced you to some of the wizards in England, however, there are Wizarding communities all over the world. I don't think we have to meet the leaders of all of them now, but we may have to in the future. There's also the matter of certain magical creatures in and around Heatherfield that the Guardians of Kandrakar have found and there may be more. I think as soon as we verify which agents we can trust, we need to send them to document all magical creatures. There's one more thing; I have detected a new type of magic in France, and soon events will happen that will reveal that magic to Paris, and no doubt eventually to the rest of France and the world. I want you Guardians to take care of it, as soon as we finish our other business. In fact, agents, I was thinking of bringing your bosses and the other agents here like I did with you."
"That does seem like a good idea," Nora Frieder said, "but you may have to be tough with our bosses to make sure they don't try any funny business."
"I can handle them," the Oracle replied cheerfully, "and I'm sure the girls can too. I was wondering if we should bring the Guardians of Kandrakar here but we can fill them in later. It will take me a few moments to bring the other agents here and make room for them. Once that happens, I ask that you let me do the talking." Everyone nodded, and soon after, the room was full of very surprised agents sitting on specially conjured couches.
"Greetings, everyone," the Oracle announced, "my name is Yan Lin and I'm the Oracle of Kandrakar. A few years ago you tried to kidnap five girls because you thought they had powers. Well they do, and I'm their boss. These girls aren't them but they also have powers, and I think it's beneficial for us to work together, provided you play by the rules. Now, can Mr. William Ashford and Mrs. Donna Richmond step forward?"
A man and woman stood up and walked towards the Oracle. "You two are the bosses of Mr. Jeffrey Brooke and his colleagues and the ones in charge of the Heatherfield Project, correct?" Yan Lin asked. They nodded and she continued, "you started this project because you became aware that there were people with powers like Mr. Riddle and that there were many odd things happening around Heatherfield. Like I said before, magic exists and I think it's beneficial for us to work together."
"What are we going to get out of it?" Mr. Ashford asked.
"For one thing, I'm sure the girls won't mind assisting you in solving cases, and there's the fact that if we don't work together the existence of magic can be revealed and cause a panic or worse."
"What do you mean by that?" an agent asked from the back.
"For one thing, magic is spreading throughout the world," Yan Lin replied, "and magic is different and we all know how people treat others who are different. For another, you tried to kidnap the girls to use their powers, but a clever trick convinced you they were powerless and that was the end of it. The Guardians are also more powerful than the others and can take care of themselves. But imagine if some of the magical children who don't know they have magic did something in front of an unscrupolous individual and were put in danger? Or what if these children put others in danger because they misused their powers? I believe it's in everyone's best interests if we work together."
"You may have a point," Mr. Ashford said, "but we want them to use their powers to serve their country."
"I'm sure they'd love to ," Yan Lin replied, "but we have plenty of time to discuss that later. First you must swear on the Heart of Earth to protect magical creatures and people and to never tell anyone without Meg's permission."
After they swore, she continued, "I will send you all back to where you're from as I have other matters to attend to. I will send the girls to your office later so they can help you make a plan and go through your information and I will bring you all back at a later date to discuss what our next steps wil be." They were then teleported back to Earth, and Yan Lin turned to the others. "I would like you to meet two new friends of mine," she said as she walked over to a door at the end of the room and opened it, revealing a short Chinese man in a Hawaiian shirt and what looked like a flying miniature turtle. "This is Master Fu and his Kwami, Wayzz," she announced. "I invited them here because Master Fu is also a Guardian, and he's in charge of a new magic, to be honest it's not exactly new but it's not so well-known, that will be revealed to the citizens of Paris shortly. I do believe the existence of magic will have to be revealed to the world because of all the magical people popping up, but not before some careful planning. I have some ideas but I wanted to see what you all thought first."
"How about you first tell us what this magic is?" Meg asked.
"Of course," Yan Lin said. "Whenever a new emotion or abstract concept is created, so is a Kwami. Kwamis weren't able to be seen by humans until a man called the Mage decided to create Miraculouses. These magical jewels allow their wearers to see them and to transform into animal-themed superheroes whenever the activation phrase is spoken. When transformed, they have enhanced strength, speed, and agility, and their costumes make them invulnerable to almost all types of damage and injury."
"Why haven't we heard of this before?" Nora Frieder asked.
"There are a group of people dedicated to protecting the Miraculouses, called the Order of the Guardians," Yan Lin replied, "but due to an unfortunate incident they and most of the Miraculouses have disappeared, except for Master Fu who protects one box of them. Kandrakar has also suppressed evidence of them when needed."
"I suppose it would be too much to ask if we can investigate these Miraculouses," Jeffrey Brooke said.
"Actually," the Oracle replied, "I think it would be helpful, but not before we solve this, and certainly not without Master Fu's permission. Now I'll tell you how the Miraculouses will be revealed. Gabriel Agreste, a famous fashion designer, found two of them, the Butterfly and the Peacock, and is determined to find the Cat and the Ladybug so he can use their powers to heal his wife. To do so, he intends to use the Butterfly Miraculous to become a supervillain and use his powers to turn others into supervillains, thus requiring the Guardian to give the Cat and Ladybug Miraculouses to two people who will become superheroes, then Gabriel will use his powers to make his supervillain take the Miraculouses from them. What will happen soon if we don't do something is that an innocent boy will be turned into a supervillain because of his desire to get back at a classmate. While the superheroes will be successful, like I said before, it will reveal magic to the world or at the very least Paris, and I'm not sure that should happen. I'm open to suggestions but just remember that whatever we come up with, the Guardians of Earth will decide what to do."
"Do we want to reveal ourselves?" Ginger wondered. "I mean, we'll have to say who we are if we confront Gabriel."
"Do we have to fight him in the first place? Can't you just bring him to Kandrakar?" Iris asked.
"I could bring him here," Yan Lin replied, "but he will most likely demand that I heal his wife. While I can do that, there's still the matter of his Miraculouses and if he should keep them."
"I have a suggestion," Maria Medina said. "Why don't you just alter the past so Gabriel won't have his Miraculouses?"
"I could do that," Yan Lin said with a sigh, "but altering the past is not something to be done willy-nilly. The same thing could be said for altering the present; messing with the natural flow of events could have consequences, so I am hesitant to interfere too much."
"Excuse me, Master Fu, have you chosen others to have Miraculouses?" Raphael Sylla asked.
"Oh yes," he said with a smile(he was able to understand and talk to them because of the Oracle's spell), "I have, though the Oracle had brought me here before I can put them in their rooms as she wants to settle this firsr."
"So," Meg said, "It looks like Gabriel isn't the best person but that doesn't mean we can't trust him, and he can use his resources to help us track down any other magical activity or people. I think we should bring him here."
"You're the Heart of Earth," the Oracle said with a shrug, "so it's your call. Just remember to keep an eye on him." She gestured, and a very surprised Gabriel Agreste appeared. Yan Lin introduced herself and briefly explained about Kandrakar, then said, "it has come to my attention that you are planning to become a supervillain. While you may have a good reason, as someone who protects all the worlds I cannot allow you to do so. However, in return for helping them, I'm sure the Guardians of Earth will be delighted to heal your wife. Any questions?"
"What do these Guardians do?" Gabriel asked as he looked around warily.
"We protect Earth, especially the magical creatures and people," Meg said. "There are other types of magics besides the Miraculouses, and right now we want to keep all magic a secret from the world, which is why we can't have you turning people into supervillains. I'm sure we can heal your wife, but you need to promise to keep magic a secret and to help us when necessary." She held up the Heart, which glowed as Gabriel made his promise.
"That's settlued," Yan Lin said, "but there's still the matter of your Miraculouses, which should be given to the Guardian if he desires that you return them," she continued as she pointed at Master Fu. "I trust that you will listen to the Guardian?" she asked as she folded her arms.
"Of course," Gabriel answered.
"Good," Yan Lin replied. "Now," she continued, "I don't know how often we'll be in touch but we will be, and I expect your full cooperation when asked for. I'll send you all to Gabriel's house where Ginger will heal Mrs. Agreste, and with the spell I put on you all you'll still understand each other. Then I'll need you girls to come back here." She gestured and they were sent to Paris.
"That's taken care of, but there's much to do," the Oracle said as she turned to the other agents, "especially with the other agents involved. I will send you back to your offices now where you will probably be questioned by your colleagues and bosses. Just repeat that there is magic on Earth, it is highly confidential, the Guardians of Earth are in charge though I am helping them put everything together, and I expect you all to keep them and me informed about anything magic-related that you
have. And Mr. Riddle, remember what we talked about." The agents then were sent back to their offices where they indeed had to deal with questions, and up in Kandrakar, the Oracle took a deep breath and took a few minutes to rest before going about her day. It may be easier to observe and not interfere, but that attitude had led to tragedy. There was plenty of magic on Earth and sooner or later it would be noticed, therefore it was essential to be prepared.

The girls, Wayzz, Master Fu, and Gabriel appeared in the underground chamber where Emilie Agreste was lying in her coffin. Ginger walked over somewhat nervously with Gabriel, who took the top off. She spread her hands over Emilie and concentrated as a magical glow spread over Emilie. After what seemed like an eternity, Emilie began to stir.
"Emilie?" Gabriel asked as he held her hand.
Emilie stared at him in astonishment as she tried to sit up. Gabriel helped her up then kissed her passionately.
"That worked out," Meg said to Master Fu, "but there's still some loose ends to wrap up. We need to go back to Kandrakar but we'll come back shortly." She and the other girls then disappeared, reappearing in Kandrakar.

Meanwhile, in Kandrakar, the Oracle was sitting in a private room with WITCH and waiting for MAGIC so Meg could give Irma and the other three(who had just finished their tests) their next transformation.
"Welcome," she said as they appeared, "please do your thing and then I want to talk to you all for a bit,".
Meg nodded and raised the Heart, which emitted four beams of light that connected Irma to Alicia, Taraneee to Ginger, iris to Cornelia, and Charlotte to Hay Lin. "Guardians, for passing your tests I will link each of you to a Guardian of Earth's powers, which will give you a fraction of their powers in addition to strengthening yours."
The beams vanished and the girls transformed. As they admired themselves, Yan Lin said, "there's still so much to do. I'll need both sets of Guardians working with the agents, wizards, and now Master Fu and anyone who knows about the Miraculouses." She gave WITCH a brief explanation then said, "I think the Guardians of Earth should go back to Paris and arrange something with Master Fu, then come back here and I'll send all of you to talk to the agents. And Meg, the spell I put on you and the others that lets you understand the others is temporary but I have a feeling that's part of your powers." She then gestured and the girls appeared back in Gabriel's underground room.

Back in Paris, the girls saw that nothing changed except for Gabriel and Emilie finishing their kiss. "Okay," Meg said loudly, "there are some things to discuss. Master Fu, I believe Mr. Agreste has some things to return to you."
"I'll get the rest," Gabriel said as he removed his Miraculous.
"Don't bother," Meg said cheerfully as she concentrated. The grimoire and Peacock Miraculous appeared in her hands.
"Actually," Master Fu said, "while I will take the spellbook, since you proved to be trustworthy I will let you keep your Miraculouses, though I can't promise you'll be able to use them."
"Thank you," Gabriel said as he put his Miraculous back on, "however, the Peacock Miraculous is damaged." Master Fu took it to fix while the Guardians had a telepathic conversation.
"Maybe we should encourage him to give out Miraculouses? A team of superheroes could be useful," Meg thought.
"You're the boss," Charlotte thought back, "and I also think it's cool." After some more back-and-forth with the others, Meg used her powers to see who the Miraculous Holders would've been. "Master Fu," she said, "can I tell Mr. Agreste who would've gotten the Cat Miraculous?" When he nodded, Meg said, "Mr. Agreste, your son would've gotten the Cat Miraculous. I do think he should get it, with your knowldege, and he, you, and some others with Miraculouses would not use them in public yet but would keep them for when Earth is ready for magic to be revealed."
The girls spent some time arranging things before going back to Kandrakar.

In Kandrakar, the Oracle smiled as the girls appeared. "We were just discussing some other things while we were waiting for you," she said. "I'll send you all to talk to the agents now and organize all their information on magic." With a gesture, the girls were sent to the office.
"Welcome girls," Nora Frieder said as she caught sight of them. After the initial clamoring died down, Will gave a brief introduction and explained the difference between both sets of Guardians. "Now," she continued, "that you know about us, besides keeping it a secret, you need to tell us about any research you have on anything magical."
"You do realize that it's only fair if you gave us something in return," Mr. Ashford said.
"We'd be happy to, as long as you remember that it's our job to protect all magical people and creatures," Meg said as she conjured up a swirling vortex above the agents, "and you cannot and will not do anything that will put them in harm's way." She then made the vortex disappear, noting to her satisfaction that they looked nervous.
The ten girls spent the next hour gathering all the information about magical and alleged magical activity and organizing it.
"Hey guys," Hay Lin called out, "look at this!" She pointed at a file that mentioned the disappearance of Tecla Ibsen, Karl Ibsen, and Edward Folkner. There was even a paragraph each about Cedric and
Orube(though her name was listed as Rebecca Rudolph).
After the girls grumbled about how the Oracle should've done something about that, they talked to Mr. Ashford about how to make sure they wouldn't be investigated . When they were finished, they were about to go home when they were brought back to Kandrakar.
The Oracle gave them a smile as she introduced Marinette Dupain-Cheng and her parents, who were there after talking to Master Fu(it was decided before that it would be best to inform her parents). After thanking the elder Dupain-Chengs for allowing Marinette to wear her Miraculous, answering their questions and reassuring them all that Marinette would be a great Ladybug when the time came, they were sent back to their bakery. The Oracle then sent the Guardians home after reminding them they were to return to Kandrakar the next day. After a few seconds of rest, she brought Phobos from his room in Fenris for their usual chat.
"You're doing well," she started, "and I have high hopes for you. Once you're crowned I have some ideas on how you could help Kandrakar."
As she went on, Phobos thought about when it all started. He had been falling and falling for ... he didn't know how long but was sure it was a long time. He had resigned himself to his fate when suddenly, he was no longer falling and was sitting on a plush chair. Yan Lin and Elyon were sitting across from him in two other chairs.
"How are you feeling?" Yan Lin asked him with a smile. Phobos could only stare in surprise and confusion.
"I'm the Oracle now," Yan Lin explained. "And I do think that you were treated unfairly and I am willing to rectify that, as long as you're willing to abide by the rules."
Phobos nodded, not really sure he wanted to but quite curious as to what the Oracle was planning.
"Well then," the Oracle said, "firstly, we all know that you aren't the type of person who cares very much what the Oracle says. So before I return your powers, you must swear on them that you'll be an ally to Kandrakar, and you'll help Kandrakar and its allies when you're asked to. If you don't keep your promise, your powers will leave you." She then waved her hand and a swirling ball of energy appeared. "These are your powers," she said,"are you ready to swear?" A glowing line appeared, going from Phobos's powers to him. He nodded and said,"I swear to be an ally to Kandrakar and to help its allies when asked to." The line disappeared and his powers flew into his body, making him sigh in relief. "Secondly," she continued, "I have spoken to representatives of the planet Fenris and they are interested in having you as their king. I'm sure you want to accept, but you will have to do as I say."
He had nodded eagerly; what he wouldn't give for a chance to be in power! He had an idea what Yan Lin would demand of him, and while the thought of it infuriated him, it was a small price to pay. He was right, and the Oracle made him chat with Elyon and be friendly and brotherly. He even had to be nice to the Guardians, though so far it was only one time, though it was to help that traitor Cedric. Then she made him go into the cursed painting(which wasn't cursed anymore because of the Guardians) and offer the painter a chance to live on Fenris. To his surprise, the painter agreed. He was also told to let Frost work for him, which he didn't mind. Throughout all this, he was learning all about Fenris, which he found himself enjoying. What wasn't there to like about a planet full of fierce shapeshifters?
He stopped reminiscing to focus on Yan Lin, who was reminding him that after his coronation, he was expected to assign diplomats to Kandrakar. After she was finished with him, she conjured a portal for him, which he stepped through.

On Earth, Meg was thinkining about all the other meetings they had to attend. She envied Will and the others, who were able to vent to their parents, while she and AGIC couldn't. Of course, they could tell their parents as well, but the thought was so scary! What if they freaked out and demanded that their daughters stop all magical activity? This definitely required a lot of thought, so she decided to bring it up at their next meeting.
At Taranee's house, she was sitting on her bed having a telepathic conversation with Cornelia and Hay Lin about telling their boyfriends about being Guardians, since she had a feeling she and Martin would start officially dating ever since they started spending more time together and she wanted their relationship to be honest, and the other girls no doubt wanted to tell their boyfriends as well. To her relief, they did want to tell their boyfriends, and after a few minutes they decided to bring the subject up at their next meeting.

Up in Kandrakar, the Oracle was reminiscing about her time as a Guardian. It was fun, no doubt, and rewarding, but it was dangerous, though ironically Cassidy lost her life because of a fellow Guardian and not because of a villain. Well, the Oracle vowed, no other Guardians would have to suffer, even if it meant interfering where she was not supposed to. She would do everything in her power to ensure the safety of future Guardians and to ensure they had the support of their loved ones.
I hope you liked this chapter! I am trying to make everything fit canon, but there's so much questions and plot holes that it's hard to do so. I'm assuming that since the agents are from Interpol they share magical findings with agents from other countries who are investigating magic. Here is a bonus story about the team before CHYKN, and there will probably be more about them in the next chapter(I'm also trying to make their Guardian outfits as historically accurate as I can);. While they are from Earth, there's nothing in canon that says all teams were from Earth, and the Core of Kandrakar issue suggests there were teams from other worlds, so in this story Guardians were usually from Earth if there was a Veil(and of course the question is why Veils only impacted Earth, which I hope to answer). There are a bunch of petitions to make season 3 of the cartoon, I think we should make petitions to have more comics, whether it's a new generation or about past generations or just filling in some of the plot holes.
The Early 1900s
Five girls were standing at the outskirts of Heatherfield, which wouldn't be so unusual if they didn't have wings and bright blue and purple outfits. The leader, Rosalinda, held up the Heart of Kandrakar and declared, "with the power of the Heart, I cast a spell that ensures us Guardians will find true love, and if we tell our loved ones our secret they will accept us." A pink glow encased all of them then vanished. "And," she continued, "I cast a spell that ensures all Earth Guardians will either be from Heatherfield or be urged to move here, and that all future portal activity will be restricted to Heatherfield." A pink glow engulfed the city, then disappeared.
The other girls, who were named Clarabelle, Ling, Athena, and Aisling(pronounced Ashling) looked at each other in relief. When they got older, they would no doubt be courted, and it would be easier if their future spouses would be accepting of their whole magic thing if they were told. It was also a relief that they didn't have to worry about portals appearing in random places on Earth, which they were worried about when they were first told of their powers. As they transformed back to their regular selves and made their way back to their houses, they reminisced about that day.
The five girls made a striking group; two white girls, one of whom was Irish, a Hispanic girl, a Chinese girl, and a Black girl. They were fast friends ever since all their families moved to the small town of Heatherfield and they discovered there weren't other girls their age, not to mention most of them were immigrants. They also felt an instant connection to each other. That day, they were at the outskirts of town, discussing some unusual things that happened to them.
"I wished for my room to clean itself and it did," Clarabelle said.
"I was wondering what my walls would look like in green, and they changed color!" Aisling exclaimed.
"I saw a spider in my room and wished it would die, and fire shot out of my finger and burned it! Luckily I was able to put it out," Athena said.
"I knocked my pencils over and when I wished they would pick themselves up, they floated in the air, and I even made them go back in their jar," Ling said with excitement.
"I was upset at my brother several times, and each time he got an electric shock," Rosalinda said with some embarrassment.
As they wondered what was going on, a hole in the air appeared and a man and five women stepped out. "Don't be alarmed," the man said, and then he introduced himself as the Oracle and the women as Guardians of Kandrakar. One of them held out a pink jewel on a chain to Rosalinda, who hesitantly took it.
"You are the new Guardians," the Oracle said, "and your mission is to close any portals in the Veil opened by Jonathan Ludmoore." He then explained that Ludmoore was an alien who was sent to weaken the Veil which was a magical barrier that separated this world from the one of Metamoor, and that each of the girls had power over an element, and with the Heart of Kandrakar Rosalinda could transform them into their Guardian selves. He then gave Rosalinda a magical map that would show the portals, then they left through another hole in the air, leaving the girls to stare at the Heart and wonder if they should try it.
Rosalinda thrust out the Heart and called out each girl's name and her element, and for herself just held it close and concentrated. Colored symbols flew around each girl and they transformed, looking older, prettier and... were those wings? Rosalinda looked at herself; she was dressed in a blue, long-sleeved, high-necked shirt tucked into a purple, floor-length, pleated skirt. Hershort curled hair had a purple hair comb in it and, when she swept her skirt to the side, on her feet were low-heeled purple shoes with a bow on the front of each. She glanced around and saw the others were dressed similarly.
Clarabelle's shirt was the same as hers but with ruffles going from the neckline to the shoulders and upper chest. Her purple, floor-length, pleated skirt had a checked pattern, and her hair was in a plait tied with a purple bow. When she swept her skirt to the side, she had short, low-heeled, purple lace-up boots.
Aisling had Clarabelle's shirt in purple, and her floor-length skirt was blue and ruffled. Her hair was in a grown-up pompadour with a bun on top, and when she swept her skirt to the side she revealed purple low-heeled shoes with straps.
Athena's blue shirt was high-necked as well but the sleeves stopped right after the elbows, and her purple, floor-length skirt was straight with buttons on the side. When she swept her skirt to the side she revealed purple mid-calf boots with buttons on the side and her hair was down and in curls.
Ling was in a long, purple, long-sleeved Chinese dress and her hair was in a she swept the dress's bottom aside she revealed purple Chinese slippers.
The five practiced their new powers for a while and tried to fly, though only Ling could. Soon Rosalinda transformed them back into their regular selves, and they decided to come back the next day and plan.
