Sakura POV

"Here's your ramen." Naruto placed the bowl in front of me then walked to the opposite of the table. He stared at me as I drowned the noodles down. H

"When was the last time you ate?"

I wiped her face with a napkin staring up at his dull cerulean eyes. "I don't remember honestly, I was just looking for you."

"Why haven't you been eating, you're basically starving yourself and the child."

"Yeah, I better stop neglecting my child it seems like the father has already done enough." I tried to bite my tongue but the words flew out of my mouth before I could stop them.

I watched as he dropped his head, an irritated sigh escaping his mouth. He picks but of his head before leaning forward on the table.

"I love you, I want to say that first…. I love our child too….I'm just scared Sakura-chan and I'm sorry for the words I said the other day I wasn't in my right mind." Naruto started to comb his hand through his hair trying to relieve some of the stress that was cast upon him.

"I love you too Naruto and I apologize for my actions the other day but you have to realize that we're in this together." I walked over to him, placing myself in his lap wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Let's never argue like that again," he said.

I smiled tears, also threatening to fall. "I hate arguing with you. I'd rather love you. He said grinding himself unto me. He laughed at his actions placing his lips on my neck. A shot of pleasure was sent down to my area, something I haven't felt in a while. "I'd rather make love to you." I playfully pushed him back into the chair. I chuckled "That's why we have a baby now Naruto".

Naruto got serious, pulling me close, wrapping his arms around my waist. "I wouldn't want it any other way." I kissed his soft lips missing the feeling of the mini shock wave I got when he did.

"Naruto it's okay to be scared, hell I'm even scared." His heartbeat was so rapid, his cerulean blue eyes were duller than usual he was a complete mess."Don't stress yourself out too much."

"We're going to get through this I promise." He placed a kiss on my lips.

"You never break your promises."

"Nope." He smiled squeezing me tighter than ever.

"Does your body still hurt from your mission?" I asked snuggling my head into his neck.

"Yeah, a little bit, but I'll be fine, don't worry about me Sakura-chan." I placed a hand on his cheek rubbing his whiskers softly. I watched him wiggle and groan underneath me. "Sakura-chan you know that makes me horny."

"What doesn't make you horny." I rolled my eyes grabbing his hand leading him into the bedroom. We were both mentally and physically exhausted. All we needed was a good night's rest and a cuddle session. Plus our bed was really soft and it reeked of Naruto in a good way.

"Come here Sakura-chan." I buried my head in his chest as he played with my hair. "I love you Sakura-chan."

"I love you too." I fell asleep with him on my mind but he probably fell asleep with ramen on his. That was nothing new; he would wake up in the morning screaming for ramen.

A loud banging on the door awoke me from my slumber. Naruto didn't bother to wake to get it; he stayed in bed with his froggy boxers showing. "Yah! Who is it?" The person behind the door didn't give me time to open it, they already barged their way into the house."

"Good Morning Forehead!"

"What do you want, Ino?"

"Well, I brought over a special someone." She placed the carrier on the dining room table revealing a small brown-haired boy within.

"Oh my gosh, Ino he looks just like Shikamaru." I gushed at the little boy placing him in my hands rocking him back and forth.

"Hey! Don't remind me, I carried him for nine months only for him to come out looking like his lazy-ass father!" I laughed as she fell back unto the couch curling up into a ball.

"What did he do now," I said in a sarcastic tone. Ino was the drama queen and she overreacted over the littlest thing.

"He has to go on a mission to Suna and it's not fair because he's going to see her." She said in a pouty tone, her lips were also pouty.

"Temari?"

"Don't speak of her name!"

I sighed, "Ino calm down he's just going there for a mission besides it's not like he's going to cheat on you or anything. Shikamaru would never put his family in harm's way."

Ino began to pout again. "I know I just don't know why I'm so emotional."

"Maybe because you gave birth 3 months ago and your hormones need to get back on track." Shikadai began to squirm in my arms opening up his brown eyes. I gushed over the little Nara boy.

"He's adorable isn't he." Ino chimed, she was so proud that she gave birth to a kid but not only her kid but Shikamaru's kid. I remember after the war everything was so chaotic and Ino popped up pregnant. It was a surprise for both of us.

"Yeah, I can't wait to see him all grown. He's going to be quite handsome," I said while playing with his little brown hair. His hair was already thick just like Shikamaru, Ino is going to freak once she has to start doing his hair.

"Yup! Just like his father, speaking of father I have a favor to ask you."

The bedroom door closed revealing a fully clothed Naruto in his shinobi attire. Standing next to him was Sasuke who was also fully dressed.

"Where are you going." I placed the child back into his mother's hands walking up to my child's father.

"I have a mission to Suna with Sasuke and Shikamaru, I hate to leave you so soon but I have to."

"Is it a dangerous mission?"

"I don't know Sakura-chan but I'll be safe, don't worry about me." He placed a kiss on my lips slipping his tongue in as well. I smacked his chest at the sudden invasion, he smirked "I love you."

"I love you too baka." I gently smacked his head, giving him a hug before he left.

"Stay with Ino, I think it would be a good idea Sakura-chan."

"Okay"

Naruto and Sasuke both walked out of the door. I watched as they walked down the street and then disappeared into thin air. "That's odd why aren't you going." My body grew tense, I slowly turned around glancing at Ino as she placed Shikadai in the carrier.

I shrugged my shoulder. "Who knows this wouldn't be the first time they went on a mission without me." I hurried into my room packing clothes into a bag trying my best to get out of this conversation.

"Yeah, but wouldn't they need a medic though?"

"Yah, Ino, there are plenty of medics in this village."

"Whatever, I'm starving let's go get some breakfast."

"Come on pig." I pushed the aggravating blonde out of my house.
