It was pouring down raining, it has been raining since they arrived. Naruto, Shikamaru, Hinata, Sasuke, and Choji were all taking cover in an abandoned house not too far from Akane's old house. Temari and her teammates thought it would have been a good idea to look on the other side of the burned downed city.

Shikamaru stood by the door smoking a cigarette. It was cold and raining, days like this tend to give him PTSD. The last time it was cold and raining he had lost an important someone in his life. He tossed the cigarette onto the ground harshly stepping on it. "Let's move out."

They all grab their things moving to Akane's house. They observed the house making sure nothing was too suspicious so they couldn't go in. Sasuke walked around the house eyeing each detail of the house. 'That's weird why is this the only house that's still standing?'

He didn't dwell on the situation any longer. He walked to the front with others stepping over rocks and pieces of trash. "Seems like nothing ever changes. It still stinks around here."

Choji nodded his head in agreement. The smell was so foul he couldn't eat his potato chips. The smell made his stomach churn. "It smells rotten!"

"No shit Choji." Naruto scoffed, he then pointed his finger towards him "That's exactly what Sasuke said!"

Choji grumbled under his breath, he quickly smacked his finger away, "Sasuke said it stinks, I specified it and said it smells rotten Naruto!"

Sasuke sat back watching then bicker, He turned to Shikamaru who he would have thought would have stopped them. A vein appeared on the side of Sasuke's forehead as they grew louder... He grabbed Naruto by the collar of his neck dragging him into the house. The blonde tried to protest as his friend drug him throughout the house. "Let me go Sasuke!" Sasuke released him, he watched as the blonde stumbled a few times before he finally regained his posture. He walked out to Hinata pointing violently in her direction. "You, me, and this idiot are going to search this room."

"Sasuke-san what are we looking for?"

"Anything just look." Sasuke said in an agitated manner, he pointed his finger to the other side of the room indicating for her to go check that space

Shikamaru motioned for Choji to follow him. While they searched inside of the house he and Choji were going to look around the house. The last time they were here they couldn't do it since it was raining even harder than before.

Naruto started pulling the decaying wood down from the house. He checked inside to see if there was anything but nothing was there. He then walked over to the room where they found Akane at. There he searched high and low for things but nothing came to view. Naruto moved rumble around only to find bugs and rats. He nearly shitted himself when he saw the rat run across the room. "I can't do this!" he shrieked as he walked back to the main room looking around for his raven hair friend.

"Naruto come out here," Shikamaru screamed, he ran towards the sound of his voice. They all were standing near the house around a tree. It was weird…..this was the only tree that was still standing in the. He noticed that they were all staring at something in the ground.

"What are you guys doing? Naruto walked towards Sasuke, he stopped in his tracks when he saw his best friend staring into a hole. Naruto slowly walked over to his peer glancing over his shoulder. It was a deep hole but you could jump into it. The tunnel was lit by an array of candles on the wall, the closer you got to it the worse the odor was.

"How did you find this?" Naruto asked.

"I didn't, Hinata did." Sasuke pointed to the heiress standing on the other side of him. She gave them a shy smile before playing with her fingers again. Naruto gave her a quick smile before turning his attention back to the tunnel. They could only see a pathway that led somewhere deeper to the end of the tunnel.

Naruto frowned, "How come we didn't find this place before?"

Shikamaru glared at Naruto, "Maybe because none of us possess those eyes, idiot."

Naruto turned to Shikamaru with an "O" expression. He threw his hands behind his head from embarrassment. "You're right Shikamaru… Should we go in?"

Sasuke bent down to the hold examining it. Chills ran down his spine the longer he stared into the hole."I don't think it's a smar-" A flash of orange passed his vision. He looked down into the hole to see his idiot friend down there.

"What are you doing idiot!? Come back up here!" Naruto didn't listen to Sasukes protest; he only walked further into the tunnel. The further he walked the more the smell became potent. It nearly made him throw up. He walked around the corner of the tunnel there wasn't much to see other than a wooden door that was cracked open. He went to go peek inside the door but was violently dragged by Sasuke.

Sasuke growled at the blonde. He held in the chokehold squeezing tighter as Naruto tried to release himself. "I could annihilate you right now! What is your problem!?"

"C-can't b-b-breathe t-t-teme!"

Sasuke tossed him to the side like a rag doll. He glanced at the blonde who was trying to even out his breathing. He never wanted to kill someone as badly as he did right now. "This idiot really jumped into a tunnel without any backup or checking out the area." He grew agitated at the thought.

Choji was now on his knees screaming down into the hole. "Hey are you guys okay!"

Sasuke walked back to the entrance of the hole. "Yeah we're fine but there are some weird things down here."

Naruto wrapped a cloth around his nose and mouth. He started to gag as his lungs started to fill with the foul smell."What's that fucking smell!"

Sasuke also noticed the smell was more potent down here. It was a sicking rotten smell. He walked further into the cave towards the foul odor. There were more turns and doors, there was also a metal door that was covered in chains. Naruto was not too far from him, he was taking in the scene as well.

"Teme! Look!"

Sasuke shot Naruto a death glare. He placed his pointer finger on his lips indicating for the blonde to shut up. Naruto swallowed nervously as they both turned back to see what the blonde was talking about. Sasuke saw a wooden door that was cracked open. A piercing screamed came from the door causing the both of them to jump. Sasuke crept forward to get a better look at what was going on. He opened the door leaving him speechless. He stumbled back a few steps, nausea started to pile up in his throat. He quickly pushed the urge down to throw up. "What the fuck" he whispered to himself, he stood there in disbelief.

In front of him were piles and piles of dead bodies from babies, kids, adults, to elders. They were all in piles fully clothed, each pile was separated based on age. Sasuke quickly slammed the door shut not daring to let Naruto see what's on the other side. His PTSD started to trigger within him. He quickly grabbed Naruto pulling him towards the top of the entrance.

Naruto quickly pushed his hand away. "What the hell are you doing teme? Let me go!"

"We have to get the hell out of here Naruto!" Sasuke sneered, he pushed the blonde back to the exit. While running he came to a halt when something or someone grabbed his ankle. He looked down to see someone grabbing his ankle.

"Help….us...they're trying to kill u-" The man never got to finish his sentence, he started to foam out of his mouth. He stopped foaming then died right there with his hand still around his ankle. Sasuke quickly kicked him off him.

"What the hell was that teme!?" Naruto panicked once he saw the man's head drop onto the ground. He tried to go back and look but Sasuke only pushed him further to the exit.

"It was a fucking dead body, you idiot."

"How was he dead when he spoke to you!" Naruto shot back, Sasuke chose to ignore him and forced the blonde back up the hole. He jumped back up to the surface where his teammates stood. Shikamaru stood there with a panic expression on his face.

"What happened down there."

"We can't talk right now, we need to get the hell out of here."

Shikamaru began to speak but was caught off when he saw what seemed to be a dead corpse appear from the tunnel but how would it be a dead corpse if it could speak.

"Help me!"

Sasuke quickly kicked the man in his face. He took notice that it wasn't the same man before. The kick didn't phase him as he stumbled further onto the mainland. Sasuke threw a punch in his face but the same thing happened again.

Choji dropped his chips on the ground, he stood there shaking in fear as the corpse started to speak again. He ran to the other side of the grass to help surround the corpse."What the fuck is that?!"

"I….need..help please." The man dropped to his knees and started to shake violently as the foam began to leave his mouth. Everyone stood there shocked by the man's actions. Sasuke walked to the man kicking him softly.

Naruto growled, "Can't you show him some respect when the man is dead, Sasuke."

Sasuke rolled his eyes at the blonde who kept ranting at him. He lowers his level to him to examine the man. Half of his face was decayed while the other was clammy and pale. His eyes darted to the man's hands than his nails. He observed that the man had bloody flesh under his nails as if he was clawing for his life. "He was probably trying to fight someone off"

Shikamaru detected this theory. Shikamaru and Sasuke observed the man's entire body. He walked back over to the entrance of the hole observing it more but it was too dark for him to see. All of the candles were blown out.

"We need to get out of here now." Shikamaru walked back to the group. He looked up in the air, the dark gray clouds were now hanging above them.

"We're taking him back to the village. Wrap him up, we need to meet back up with Temari."

Naruto summoned a toad to take the dead corpse back to the village. At first, Gamakichi protested at the thought of a dead body being placed in his mouth so he summoned his brother Gamatatsu to do it. Naruto began to argue with the toads since neither of them wanted to do it. Finally after minutes of arguing Gamatatsu caved and placed the dead corpse in his mouth.

The group walked from Akane's house and the deep hole. Shikamaru kept a mental note of what happened and how they found the hole. The thoughts of the zombie-like human kept racing throughout his mind. Sasuke on the other hand was annoyed by what he saw. It reminded him of his childhood. All of the dead bodies thrown everywhere no matter the age they were all slain to their deaths. He shuddered as he remembered the way the toddler's lifeless body. His mind kept bringing up Kato for some odd reason. He tried to push the images out of his head but he couldn't.

Naruto was also in deep thought. "How could the man be alive and dead at the same time? How was it possible for him to be alive but look like a fucking zombie"

Sakura woke up very moody not because of her hormones but the fact that her baby wanted to act up. She was very weak; she hated to even get up from bed to use the restroom. Every time she would stand she would get all dizzy and lightheaded. Her stomach was also cramping, most likely it was from her being on her feet too long yesterday. As much as she wanted to stay and bed in rest Ino thought it would be a good idea to have tea and wine outside.

"Doesn't it feel nice out here Sakura?" Ino hummed, they were both outside on her patio enjoying the sun. Sakura was sipping on green tea while Ino decided to have wine.

Sakura was actually having the time of her life, she was supposed to be moody and tired but the sun on her skin made her feel better. Although she was still cramping she wasn't going to let that ruin her Vitamin D. Sakura took a sip of her green tea then hummed out of enjoyment. "It feels wonderful out here Ino."

Ino went inside to grab the biscuits that were in the oven for them. She placed them on the center of the table for the both of them to enjoy. They sat there in silence munching on the delicious honey biscuits. Ino placed the half-eaten biscuit back on the tray. She crossed her legs underneath her before sighing out loud. "Sakura can...can I talk to you. Honestly, you're the only one I feel like I could talk to right now."

Sakura looked up from her plate. Her mouth was filled with the biscuit. She quickly swallowed the food before nodding her head slowly at her best friend. "Sure." Sakura took another bite from her savory snack while eyeing her friend.

Ino began to play with her fingers, Sakura took notice of the tears that were brimming her eyes. They slowly started to fall down her face. Ino didn't bother to wipe them; she only placed her head in her hands. "This is dumb it so dumb… never mind it was stupid to bring up."

"No, it's not, tell me what's on your mind. This is what we're here for to talk shit about our lovers and reminisce about the old days." Sakura tried to brighten up the mood but it seemed like Ino was really bummed out. She has been like this since they arrived yesterday. Sakura heard her cry softly in her room last night but she decided not to attack her with her questions and allow Ino to come to her naturally.

"Sometimes….Well, not sometimes but most of the time I feel like Shikamaru doesn't love me. I also feel like he's never here and I'm raising Shikadai on my own. Not to mention, I think he has been smoking again."

Sakura looked at Ino with a stunned expression. She slowly placed her snack on the table she sat back waiting for her friend to finish.

"I know he was with Temari yesterday he told me. I just hate the fact that I feel like he still wants to mess around with her. I mean who wouldn't, she all glamorous and doesn't smell like milk."

Sakura looked at her with a death glare. She walked over to her best friends sitting right next to her. "This is your postpartum depression taking over Ino. He loves you so much."

Ino turned her body away from Sakura. She pulled her long pale legs onto her chest so she could rest her chin on her knees. She thought about the times she felt like this..it was something that weighed on her chest every day. She grew annoyed with Shikamaru every day, she always felt like he was ignoring her.

"I think he loves me but who wouldn't try to love someone when you have their first child especially a boy. I just feel like I ruined his life. I mean he seemed so happy without a child or even with Temari. Do you know how much shit we went through? I mean our child has two powerful bloodlines running through him Nara and Yamanaka, The other clans and some from our own clan looked at us with disgust. I just feel like he wanted a life with her and not me. I mean do you remember how they were all over each other."

"Don't think that way about yourself. He loves you so much, I mean he does his best with the both of you. He adores that baby so much. He's just a busy man right now. There's a lot on his plate right now."

Ino laughed, she quickly brushed her tears away with her hands. She went to her best friend who embraced her with an even bigger hug. "You're so right I'm just being overly emotional. I think I just need to calm down."

Sakura laughed, "You would think Ino."

Ino pulled back out of her embrace. She had a serious face as she stared at Sakura. "Don't you have a doctor's appointment today?"

"And Naruto wants to complain about my mood swings." Sakura mentally rolled her eyes as she thought about him complaining about her being too moody. She looked at the clock behind her to read the time. She was going to be late if she didn't leave now. "Oh shit! You're completely right I have to go."

Sakura walked into the house to grab her things. This was an important appointment she could possibly find out the gender of her baby she was past 20 weeks now. She smiled out of excitement but it quickly dwindled when she felt the baby go wild within her. She clutched her stomach as she felt the faint kicks on her bladder. She went to open the door to walk on but stumbled over something nearly falling on her face

"Shit!"

"Sakura-san!"

She was swiftly caught by the one and only Konohamaru. He grabbed her before she could hit the ground. Sakura chuckled softly as she witnessed the panic on his face.

"I'm so sorry Sakura-san I was trying to look for the schedule that Naruto-nii chan left for me." He pointed to the bad that was placed on the ground. Konohamaru grabbed the bag from the ground placing it over his shoulders. "I didn't mean for you to fall!"

Sakura placed her hands on his shoulders then gave him a reassuring smile. "It's okay accidents happen….wait what do mean by Naruto giving you a schedule." Sakura fixed his hair before walking off of the porch of Ino's house. Not too far behind her was Konohamaru, his nose was in a crumpled piece of paper.

"Yes, Naruto-nii chan told me to watch you while he was gone. He wrote down all of the important stuff and one of them is your appointment today which you're late too!"

Sakura tried to stifle a laugh. She could never take Konohamaru seriously even when he was a little kid. He was always trying to prove a point to Naruto no matter what he did. She adored how he always looked up to Naruto in such ways.

"Yes, I am late so how about you take your nose from the notes and lead the way." Sakura took the paper and tried to read it but it looked like a chicken wrote it. There were things all over the place and doodles here and there. She kept one hand on her stomach as her cramps grew more intense. "This is going to be a long walk," she thought to herself.

Once arriving at the office Sakura was quickly called back by her master. Tsunade and Konohamaru argued for a while for the reason that Tsunade did not want the loud teen back there while she was handling business. Sakura talked her master into letting him back under one condition. He would have to sit there and be quiet the entire time.

"How have you been feeling lately?"

Sakura laid back on the bed with her shirt pulled up. Tsunade was pressing down on her belly to see if there were any tumors or anything. Sakura would wince every now and then the harder she pressed.

"I have been doing well except for the fact that I have been feeling very weak and dizzy."

"How long has this been happening?"

"About three days ago but I have always been weak since the pregnancy started."

Tsunade nodded her head and she activated her hands scanning over her belly. Her brows furrowed together as she sensed something that she hasn't sensed in a while. She tried to keep a straight face so Sakura wouldn't grow worried but she couldn't help shake this feeling. She grabbed the ultrasound machine from the closet rolling it out in the room. She dimmed the light then walked back over to Sakura placing the jelly on her belly.

Sakura got goosebumps at the feeling of the jelly on her belly. It was so cold. She looked up in awe as she saw her baby on the screen. She could see its arms, legs, head, and even its spinal cord. She nearly cried when she saw its little face, the baby was sucking on its thumb.

"That's my baby," she mumbled out. Everything started to feel surreal as she watched her baby twist and turn in her belly.

Tsunade smiled, "Want to know the gender?"

Sakura nodded her head eagerly. She watched as Tsunade had to fight with her child to get it to open their legs. It was being so stubborn she even made Sakura get up to do jumping jacks so it could move. The baby wouldn't budge, so she pressed harder against her stomach for it to move again and that's when they saw it.

Sakura gasped, "Oh my goodness."

Tsunade laughed, "Here we go again!"

Sakura turned to Konohamaru with tears in her eyes. "We're having a little boy. I'm having a mini Naruto."

Tsunade snorted as she removed the device from her stomach. "You're saying that as if it's a good thing."

Sakura laughed as her master. She quickly sat up from her seat brushing the tears from her face. She sat there in a daze as her dizziness took over her once again. Sakura pushed herself, father, up the bed until her back was touching the wall.

Konohamaru took notice as she began to grow weak again. He walked to her offering her a protein bar and some water that he packed for her. She declined it, so he gave her some gummy snacks. "Are you okay Sakura-san?"

"I'm fine thank you Konohamaru."

Tsunade stood back and watched the scene play out. A small smile appeared on their face as she watched them bicker about the gummies Sakura was consuming.

"Sakura there is something that I do want to talk to you about."

Sakura nodded her head for her to go on. Tsunade took a breath before continuing. "I think I know the reason why you are so weak. Your baby is very healthy and strong but I think he's too strong. As you know a baby can feed off its mother's chakra to get stronger but your baby is consuming lots of your chakra. More than a normal baby would, this is causing you to be weak and the cramps are probably because he's not getting enough of your chakra."

Sakura tried to process everything she was saying but at the same time, she was too confused to process it. "What do you mean?"

"Don't quote me on this but I think your child may have some of Naruto's traits when it comes to the amount of chakra it possesses. Your child wants to consume the chakra that you have but sadly you don't have enough of it which is causing you to slowly get weaker by the day."

Sakura choked out a sob, tears started to flow down her cheeks as she realized what was going on. "So you're telling me my baby is slowly killing me?"

"That's a possibility but for now all I know is that we need to get you on some chakra supplements so we can build back up so chakra."

Sakura tried to get herself together but she kept falling apart. She finally choked out her words for her master to hear. "Wait does this mean that my baby could possess the same chakra as a jinchuriki?"

"I'm not entirely sure Sakura. This is the first time we have had a male jinchuriki impregnate a non-jinchuriki."
