Sasuke POV

"Sasuke Uchiha, I have been waiting for this fight since I first met you."

"Less talking and more fighting Tezo."

Tezo just took a beating from hell, he was leaning against the tree, his labored breathing was the only thing heard other than the few curse words Kato was saying. For some odd reason, I could tell that he wasn't giving it his all. He honestly was wasting my time right now, but it was good training for him so I almost didn't mind.

"Are you wasting my or something? What's your fucking deal?"

"Yeah, what's your fucking deal?" Kato said from behind me, every word that I'd say that had a curse word he'd repeat it. He'd occasionally look up at me for reassurance but at this point, I didn't care. It was the least of my worries, I was beginning to get more and more irritated with Tezo.

"Can you calm down your little defendant," Tezo said as he wiped the blood coming from his mouth, "I'm just trying to save some of my energy before the big fight you loser."

I looked over to Kato and nodded my head, we both took off in the direction of Tezo once again. I laid back a few steps so Kato could take the first blow. He kicked his foot towards his forehead for a direct kick but Tezo grabbed it. He gave me the opportunity to aim for his ribs that were open, my sword in my hand, I used the handle to drive it towards his rib. Tezo grabbed the bladed part with his bare hands before it connected with his side, it slicked his pinky completely off.

I weaved a few hand signs making my sword become a lighting blade, it had completely caught him off guard and shocked the hell out of him. "Idiot" I mumbled, Kato came running back, he grabbed his uncle's head with his hand and smashed it to his knee. He flipped backward using his other foot to kick him in the face.

He landed perfectly on the ground with the biggest grin on his face, it was like he didn't understand we were in a battle with someone right now. "How was the Sasuke-nii chan?"

"A bit rusty, your motions remind me of Naruto. They aren't clean."

"Hey give the kid some credit alright," Tezo interjected, he was fixing his broken nose that Kato decided to shatter. You could clearly see that it took a blow, although I wished Kato would have done more damage, however, we still have more training to do.

"Would you shut up already!" Kato barked back, he was clearly pissed off with Tezo. I could see right through him, he wanted to run back and finish the job. I taught him to think before he ran into the fight. Although I saw a lot of myself in him he also had a bit of Naruto antics within him as well. I

I sat down near the tree, my head was freaking pounding from the lack of sleep and food I had consumed these last few days. "Oh my gosh, this is going to take longer than I expected it to be."

Tezo jumped up from his spot on the ground and took off farther into the woods, "Yes, yes it is now you guys have to catch me!"

Kato looked at me, he was bouncing back and forth with his tongue sticking out. He was so eager to chase after him, I only nodded my head and he took off after him. I slowly got up from my spot, it wasn't like Tezo was going to kill him. They needed him so it would only be dumb on his part if he actually killed him. I wasn't too far from behind but first I had to take Akane's body down from the tree. She didn't deserve to be disrespected like that.

Naruto Pov

Running throughout the village was one thing but trying to dodge people who were trying to explode for no reason was another. It was hard to tell the difference between the ones who would and would not explode. They were doing nothing but getting in my way but I found my way to Sakura-chan.

"Sakura-chan," I whispered. I didn't know if they were near or not.

Sakura finally turned around, she had her medical gear on with her tools in her hands."Naruto what are you doing here? Where's Kato?"

"Shhh, keep your voice down," I whispered harshly, there was no one around except for Sakura and me.

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

I grabbed her forcefully pulling her towards the exit, "Come on we have to get out of here."

"Huh?"

"Come on." I tugged on his arm harder, she tried to fight back but I was practically dragging her.

"Wait, I have to grab the scroll Kiba gave me." Sakura let go of my arm, she walked towards the scroll that was sitting on the counter of the room. "Sakura-chan lea-"

My sentence was cut off by the sound of thunder, the entire room was engulfed in smoke, and a bomb went off. "Sakura-chan!" The black smoke was too thick for me to see through it, I dropped to my knees crawling on the floor to find her.

"Naru-" His voice was faint but I could hear it, it was getting hard to breathe. I grabbed her frail body and held it close to mine. The exit was filled with rock but I could see a small peephole of light coming in. The only problem was not to cause a stampede of rocks to fall on us.

"Sakura-chan are you okay?"

She didn't reply verbally, she only nodded her head. I couldn't physically see her but I knew she was hurt. Fuck.

With Sakura still in my hands I began to climb the pile of rock to the opening, with one hand I grabbed each rock one by one until it was wide enough for us both to get out. I placed her on the green patch of grass outside. "Sakura-chan?" I shook her shoulder, she opened her eyes for a second but then closed them. Her skin was red and blisters from the explosion, small pebbles were now carved in her face.

"I'm fine, I'm just tired." She whispered, she held my hand squeezing it to give me reassurance. I wiped the sweat from her head, kissing it gently.

"How cute, I'm guessing you got the message?"

Looking over my shoulder I saw Kiba standing by a tree, unintentionally I lunged forward to grab him by his throat. "I should've fucking killed you when I had the fucking chance."

He smiled, "But your girlfriend stopped you didn't she?"

I tightened the grip around his neck, his veins began to swell from the lack of blood flow that I was cutting off. He tried to claw at my hands, I could feel his sharp nail digging into my skin. I was so furious with him that I couldn't keep my head cool. I knew I needed to, if I were to spiral out of control right now there's no telling if I could protect Sakura and I.

I tossed Kiba onto the ground, instantly I was over his body. He was caged in between me and there was nowhere for him to go.

"Where's the guy who did this?"

He smiled stupidly, "Somewhere you're not."

My fist connecting with his nose, I pulled him up so our faces were inches apart, "I will murder you Kiba! Where is he?"

"Somewhere you're fucking not!" He spat in my face, however, I didn't do anything to him...yet. I needed him for answers.

I was getting nowhere with him, each second that passed it made me want to bury him in the first faster. I was fighting the verge really hard not to do it.

"Let me take over, kid."

Kurama's voice rang through my head. I was never the one to choose violence nor would I ever let Kurama take over but he was pushing me to my limits. I didn't hesitate, I stood in the background allowing Kurama to take over

"You fucking mut where is he!?" Kurama's voice was loud and demanding, I even got shivers when he spoke. He had my hand around Kiba's throat, my claws digging into his throat nearly puncturing his airway. Every time he would breathe Kurama's hands would tighten around his throat.

"I've been wanting you since the party!"

Kiba's eyes were nearly about to pop out of their sockets, he was begging for Kurama to stop, you could clearly see it in his eyes. I didn't tell him to stop, part of me loved seeing him suffer. It brought me a bit of joy.

"Okay, okay he's looking for the kid," He said through a gasp, I quickly switched back into my own body. Kurama was bitching in the back but I muted him in my head.

"What kid?"

"Your kid, he wanted me to distract you while he looked for the kid."

I punched him dead in the face, he was still conscious so I did it over and over until he wasn't. I still kept pounding into his face, my body wouldn't physically let up. I didn't want to hear another word come out of his mouth. I honestly wanted him dead and I wanted to be the one who did it. I found joy in making him suffer, I loved feeling and hearing his bones crack from his punches.

"You fucking bastard," I said lowly, his blood was all over me and the grass. It looked like I had murdered him. His face was disfigured, it would take for them to extract DNA to recognize him. He wasn't dead, that would be too easy for him. I wanted him to suffer all of the injuries he has, then rot in jail.

I got up from his body, Sakura-chan was still drowsy from the explosion but she had one eye open. I knew she saw everything that just happened. Hopefully, she didn't hear what he had to say about Shinachiku. If she did she would be losing her mind right now.

"We need to get you to a hospital."

"I'm...fine."

"You can barely speak Sakura-chan."

"The hospital is destroyed Naruto."

I didn't listen to her, everything she was saying was going in one ear and out the other. She was going in and out of consciousness. Who knew what kind of injuries she had internally. Grabbing her fragile body I lifted her in my arms, she tried to fight me off begging me to let her go but I didn't.

"You need...you need to find that...man, he is going after Shinachiku."

I looked down at her body in my arms, she wasn't freaking out but she heard everything that Kiba had said. "Sakura-chan, how do you know that?"

"Kiba just said so, leave me here Naruto." Sakura tried to pry herself out of my arms but she couldn't, I knew he was hurting in every way possible. She wasn't healed from her previous injuries from when Shinachiku was born.

I held her closer and tighter to my body, "I can't, don't make me choose between you two."

"Naruto go after Shina, I'd never forgive myself if something were to happen to him. I'll be okay, I swear I will."

I didn't say anything else to her, I grabbed her face pulling it towards mine instantly pressing my lips against hers. Our lips moved against one another, she pulled me closer to her. We both sat there without foreheads resting against one another. She was softly crying, it broke my heart to see her like that. I hated that we lived in a world like this.

I knew that if I were to go word to word with her it'll only lead towards an explosive argument. I decided it'll be the best for the both of us if I just listen to her.

"I love you so much Sakura-chan."

"I love you too Naruto, go I'll see you later."

My heart ached to leave her there alone in the woods, I needed to be there with her. I could physically help her but then if what Kiba was saying was true then I'd need to be there for our child.

I pushed myself harder to get to the underground tunnel where Shinachiku was, the village was the same the night Shinachiku was born, except this time it was the real event. Ruzu and Tezo were both here to destroy everything we loved and cherished.

"Naruto!" Shikamaru stopped me in my tracks, "Where the hell is Kato and Sakura!?"

I pointed behind me towards where Sakura was, "She's over there, go and help her!"

"Where are you going!?"

"I have to go and save Shinachiku, Ruzu has him!"

"Naruto, wait!"

I threw my hands in the air, I was past irritation. I don't know what emotion I was feeling but I could take down Shikamaru right now if I had to."What the fuck do you want Shikamaru!? Can't you see I'm trying to save my son!"

"He's not with Sakura's parents, he's safe with Kakashi Sensei, we used Sakura's parents as a diversion because we knew someone was bound to listen."

"Where is he? I need to find him before something happens to him."

"There's no time for you to find Shinachiku, he's safe along with Shikadai. We have to go back to get Sakura safe."

"You go after Sakura, I have to see Shinachiku with my own two eyes. There's no way in hell I can trust anyone other than Sakura and I with our baby."

Am I panicking right now?

Shikamaru sucked his breath, he was clearly annoyed with me but I didn't care. Whether he liked it or not I was going to find Shinachiku.

He smacked me against the head then grabbed the neck of my jacket pulling me close to him, "I would tell you where your child is but I don't know who's watching you. Shinachiku is safe with Ino, Shikadai, and Kakashi sensei. Do you think I'd let you put your family and my family in danger because of your recklessness?"

"You don't understand Shikamaru!"

"I do understand Naruto! I've been dealing with this since the first time we met Ruzu. I've always questioned myself if I was strong enough to protect my family, there's no way in hell I'll let you jeopardize their life."

"Shika-"

"Shut up Naruto...now show me where Sakura is."

Shikamaru had a point but it's the fact that he was right. I hated that, I especially hated that I could not see Shinachiku but it was for his and Shikamaru's family's safety. Nothing pissed me off more than this. I can only imagine how Sakura-chan was going to react. Shikamaru didn't know what he was getting himself into but luckily when we walked back to where Sakura was she was completely knocked out.

"What the hell happened here." He asked, pointing to Kiba, I chuckled and gave him a rundown on the entire situation. He didn't scold me like I thought he would but he actually praised me which was something he rarely did.

"Do you have any water on you?" Shikamaru asked, I shook my head no. I was sitting down next to Sakura, there were a million things going through my head and the last thing I needed to do was to think about was fucking water.

"We need to wake Kiba up, he has all of the answers we need."

"I can answer them for you." The voice was chilling, it almost felt like he was standing right behind me but he was standing directly in front of me. I hadn't noticed or felt Ruzu's presence at all, he was walking over to Kiba where Shikamaru was. Shikamaru slowly took steps back until he was standing in front of Sakura just like I was.

He laughed," I'm an open book, just try me."

"What the hell do you want with my village!" I shouted, Shikamaru grabbed me by my jacket, helping me come back to reality a little. Every time I saw him or his brother it made my fucking blood boil. I couldn't help myself but get enraged with them.

"I simply want the boy back, I also wouldn't mind taking the heir of the nine tails."

"Are you out of your fucking mind!? What makes you think you can walk in here and do that!?"

"I just did" He pointed from the direction that he walked from. "Now where's the boy."

Shikamaru was speechless and so was I. I honestly didn't know what to do or think, how could I possibly take this man down if I didn't know where he was going to pop up next. I was stuck...was this fear? Was I really scared of this man or was I just startled by the way he snuck up on me?

"Naruto!"

"Not right now Shikamaru! I need to freaking think!"

"No you need to stop panicking, he's no different than fighting anyone else. You have fought a fucking god for crying out loud!"

I started to grab at my hair, he was just standing there smiling at me and I was over here panicking. I was overthinking the entire thing but my brain would not allow me to stop that from happening. I was scared. I was truly scared, I didn't know his intentions. "I know Shikamaru but I can't!"

Ruzu began to take steps towards me, I was frozen in fear. My body wouldn't move. I was too busy having a panic attack. I recognized these signs because it was the same feeling I got before the war. He made me feel so small, so weak. He made me question my own sanity without even touching me. I fell to my knees, my chest was tightening. Shikamaru was yelling but I couldn't make out the words he was saying. I was stuck with fear.

Ruzu stood above me, his hand was under my chin making me look up at him."Well, that was easier than I expected."

My chest was heaving, I was trying to fight the feeling but it was too strong. I wanted to cave so badly but my body was too busy overworking itself.

He pulled out a kunai, the blade was so sharp you could see it miles away. He pressed it against my neck, the blade cut smoothly into my neck. Why was I so okay with death...why wasn't I fighting back? Is this what I wanted all along...death? What the hell was wrong with me? Why was I being so selfish? I was looking down at the ground ready for my death.

I was okay with history repeating itself...but why? Why was I so okay with that? Was it because I could never live up to be the man that my son needs me to be? Why was I so okay with leaving him behind?

"Uzu-", A loud booming sound shook me out of my thoughts. It even helped me ease the panic attack I was having. Standing there in all of her glory was Sakura, she was hunched over breathing heavily. She also dropped to her knees along with me, her head laid softly in my neck.

"You have to fight, not from me or Shinachiku but for yourself...get out of your head Naruto."

My eyes widened at her words, that was the last thing she said before she went back unconscious. Ruzu was far away, I could tell from the number of trees that were knocked down. Then I realized, Sakura-chan used her last bit of chakra to save my life. She risked hers to save mine, shit. I had felt so low, how could I be so happy with death when I have a fiance and son here on this earth.

I kissed her on her head, placing her softly on the ground."Thank you Sakura-chan." I looked back at Shikamaru nodding my head, he walked up grabbing Sakura from the ground and headed in the opposite direction. I walked into the forest where Ruzu was, and Sakura-chan opened my eyes. There was nothing to be afraid of, he was a regular human being. I've witnessed Sakura give birth for crying out loud and here I was scared to fight someone.

He was lying on the ground with his arms behind his head and legs crossed together. He didn't bother to move, his vision was diverted towards the sky. It was as if he was looking for something.

"Wow, what a woman. I don't think I have ever been hit by a woman in my entire life. She's everything I would ask for in a woman. Didn't she also find a "cure" for the virus?"

"Watch your mouth Ruzu, that's my fiancee you're talking about and she's also the mother of my son."

"Well then, there's no need for me to sit here and glorify her anymore. Just give me the kids and I'll leave without any problems."

I placed my foot on his chest, applying pressure, there was no way in hell I was going to allow him to take Kato back with him. He and I both knew that, we both stared at each other with a killer instinct. One of us wasn't going to leave her alive and I knew for a fact that it wasn't going to be me.

"Get back here bitch!" A high-pitched voice echoed throughout the woods, but it belonged to Kato. He wasn't too far away but it would take a minute to meet in the middle.

"Seems like the plan is working." Ruzu took my foot, twisting it then throwing me onto the ground. I turned on my hand before I fell and kicked him across the face. It was the same spot Sakura punched him in so I knew he felt it.

We both stood back up straight, then we took off towards one another. Punches and kicks were being thrown, Ruzu was fast but wasn't fast enough to keep up with me.

"Kurama!" I wanted to finish this quickly and get it over with.

"Perfect! Everything's coming together perfectly!" Ruzu looked up in the air laughing, he ran off in the direction of Kato's voice. I followed after him, I used one of Kurama's tails to reach out to him but it was like a force field keeping me away from touching him.

It was hard to touch him now, I tried my hardest to keep him away from Kato but he found a way to get to him. Tezo ran towards us with Kato in tow, all three of them were staring down one another.

"Hi." That was the only thing that Ruzu said to him, I stood back watching his every move. Sasuke soon appeared not too long afterwards. Tezo and Ruzu were circled around Kato, "Do you remember him?" Tezo asked, Kato didn't say anything. His hand sharpened like a knife then he slashed Tezo across the face with it. Tezo stumbled back a few feet landing on his butt. His face looked like a large cat had attacked him.

Kato turned back around to Ruzu, his eyes were completely black. "He's the one who taught me how to kill." He smiled, the words that came out of his mouth sounded playfull.

"I'm seeing you're finally starting to go back to your roots." Ruzu said.

He had his hand over his eyes like he had a headache or something."All of my memories are coming back, I know who I am and I know what I'm capable of doing."

Ruzu squatted down to be eye level with Kato,"And what is that?"

Kato looked up, his head tilted to the side, he smiled again, "Killing you."
