-Jeremy's POV-

Klaus was in the middle of the yard with a woman held by her throat in his right hand, while his left held a stake. From the blood on his shirt, Jeremy had a good idea where the stake had just been. He jumped out of the car ignoring Matt and Tyler yelling at him. Klaus seemed to have his fight handled so he ran around him and into the house. Ric was pushing himself off the floor of the entrance, blood trickling down his forehead, a male witch moving towards him with a large dagger. Neither of them saw Jeremy as he slammed into the witch's side and sent them both sliding across the floor.

The man grunted and before he could react Jeremy slammed his fist into the man's face. The hit had more force then he had meant, as he heard something break on contact and the man went limp on the ground. He didn't take the time to think about it just grabbed the dagger and jumped to his feet, turning to find Ric. His friend looked wobbly on his feet but Matt was at his side helping him move out of the room.

"I got him." Matt insisted, "Go find Elijah."

He nodded and took towards the living room. It was empty. He turned and headed for the kitchen. He cursed under his breath frustrated when it too was empty. Instead of taking off at random again he closed his eyes and focused on Elijah's piece of the bond. It throbbed with pain, but gave him a direction. He sprinted out of the house and to the back of the house.

He found Elijah standing between two witches, a ring of fire around him.

"I told you." one of them said, "All she wanted was a word."

Elijah gave a dark chuckle, "Your leader, kills vampires on sight. And I am to believe she just wanted to speak to me."

The man's face twisted in anger and the fire around Elijah hissed and grew taller. Jeremy didn't even think about it, he moved to step towards the man, only to be greeted by the world spinning around him. Disoriented he reached out his arms to steady himself and froze. He was on the other side of the yard, just behind the witch he had been aiming for. The man hadn't seen him, but the surprised look on Elijah's face said that he had.

The other witch must have also seen him because he called out, "Behind you."

The witch that had been arguing with Elijah turned and on instinct Jeremy threw the dagger he still held at the man. It buried itself in the man's throat and Jeremy winced at the gurgling sound the man made as he slumped over and fell to his knees. He heard a snap and turned to see Elijah dropping the other witch. The fire having turned to embers when Jeremy had attacked the first witch.

"What the hell was that?" He asked his boyfriend.

"I believe we have seen our first side effect of your new bond with Niklaus." Elijah said.

"Oh," He said, "Okay." he muttered, "We'll deal with that later." And he ran back towards the house, finding himself back in the entrance faster than normal. He grinned at the surprised look on Ric and Matt's face. "Surprise." he said with a grin.

"How?" Matt asked.

"Ask Elijah." Jeremy said before walking out of the house to find Klaus. The hybrid was standing over the witch he had been fighting; with Kol, Tyler and Caroline at his side.

He walked, normally, towards the group. The woman was on her knees, glaring at Klaus.

"What's going on?" Jeremy asked. Klaus and Kol both turned to give him a once over before Klaus turned back to the woman and Kol reached over and pulled him closer.

"Apparently, they invited Elijah to a meeting and he declined due to the fact that she wants to kill all vampires and they took offence to it." Kol whispered in his ear.

He shrugged his shoulders, trying to create a little space, because Kol was far too close at the moment for what was going on. He heard the vampire huff, before he took a step back.

"How does attacking them help?" He asked the witch, "If your leader really wanted to talk and not kill them, she is kinda going about things the wrong way." The woman turned her glare from Klaus to him. He felt Klaus move closer.

"We were to subdue one of them and take them to our leader." The woman said.

Jeremy was a little surprised by the truthfulness. "So she could do what?" He asked.

The witch glared at him, "Vampires need to be killed. They are monsters and need to be destroyed." She said, her eyes held anger and suspicion. It took Jeremy a second to understand, he turned his head around, looking away from the witch and searching the woods. He didn't see anyone but he was sure he was right.

He looked back down at her, "Why are you here?"

She cursed, "She wanted the one named Elijah."

"Why?" he asked.

"To get to the other." She sneered, "She said he was their heart. The only one to hold loyalty from all his siblings. They would come for him." Klaus growled.

"Why is she telling us this?" Tyler whispered.

"I have a theory." Jeremy said. But he still had questions, "Where is your leader?" He asked the witch. She cursed and her eyes widened, before she could say anything, her lips turned blue and she collapsed on the ground.

"That wasn't me." Wil said, stepping out from behind Kol's SUV.

"But the truth spell was." Jeremy said with a smile, rushing over to hug his friend.

"Figured it would make things easier." Will said against his shoulder as they hugged.

"What are you doing here?" Caroline said from behind them.

Jeremy broke apart their hug, "And are you alone?" he added. Last time he talked to Will, he had been with Bonnie. Jeremy, while less mad at her, wasn't sure he wanted to see her just yet.

"Your sister bitched you out to Bonnie on the phone the other day. Figured you guys were walking into trouble and that you might need some backup." Will said with a soft smile, "Bonnie went home, but said if you need her call." The last bit was said to Jeremy. Who just nodded.

"She died," Kol said, dragging everyone's attention back to him and the witch he stood over, "Because of this." The vampire pointed at a small blue tattoo on her wrist, "It's a bind. Loyalty possibly. She was about to reveal her leader's whereabouts and it stopped her."

"Now that that's settled, Jeremy, come here." Elijah said from where he stood on the front porch.

He felt a little self conscious as he raced over to his vampire, he heard a few gasps and then Klaus was at his side turning his head to look at the mark.

"Because of this?" The hybrid asked his brother. Because of the weird angle his head Jeremy couldn't see Elijah's face though he could see the others. Will, Caroline, and Tyler looked shocked, Kol looked intrigued. Jeremy gulped and pulled his head free from Klaus' hand.

"Should I be expecting anything else?" He asked turning to look at Elijah and Ric who had joined them. Both men looked at each other and then back at him.

"We're not sure." Ric said.

While the new speed had been amusing during the fight, now it was hitting him. He had moved supernatural fast. Like a wolf or vampire. Did that make him less human? He was already and hunter and wondered often if that made him more supernatural than human, but these new changes seemed to tip the invisible scale he kept buried in the back of his mind. He swallowed and tried to slow his racing heartbeat. It wasn't working, because he kept thinking, what if i'm not human anymore?

Suddenly he was jerked off his feet and pulled against a chest. The steady heartbeat of whoever it was helped him calm down. Now that he could focus more on syncing his heart with theirs instead of his humanity.

"Are you alright?" Klaus whispered. Jeremy nodded against his boyfriend's chest. Giving into the thought that Klaus was letting his heart beat just to help Jeremy. He smiled, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." The hybrid said quietly in his ear.

"We'll handle the bodies." Ric said, "Why don't you guys take him upstairs."

Jeremy pushed away from Klaus and tried to protest he had his mouth opened but then he was grabbed by his arm and spun around. Kol kissed him hard and Jeremy had to hold back a moan when the vampire slid his tongue across his lips. He was so lost in the kiss he hadn't felt them move, not until Kol stepped back and Jeremy found himself in Klaus' bedroom.

Jeremy was shoved backwards before he could think about it and Kol was on top of him hand in his hair pulling his head up for another kiss. This time Jeremy let out a moan and reached around to pull Kol closer against him.

Kol chuckled and released him, just as the bed to his right dipped and Jeremy felt Elijah's fingers replacing Kol's in his hair. These weren't tight and gripping like the younger Original but soft and soothing, just running through his hair. Jeremy exhaled and dropped his head back on the bed, his eyes closed.

"What happened?" Klaus asked. From the sound of his voice he was standing at the end of the bed.

He shook his head and tried to forget about it. He didn't want to talk about it. Especially with the three of them. What if they were offended by the reason he had panicked. After all they weren't human anymore. And if they thought Jeremy had a problem with that they might think he had one with them. Which he didn't. He loved them. It was just the thought of changing, becoming something other than himself that scared him. He had come close once before when he became a hunter. He'd almost killed his sister because of it. It terrified him that it could happen again.

"Jeremy, darling, talking to us." Kol whispered gently. Jeremy could feel the vampire leaning closer and the feel of his lips on Jeremy's cheek. Again he shook his head.

"Jer-"

"Leave him." Elijah cut Klaus off. "He will talk to us when he is ready." There was a firm tug of his hair to tell him that he would in fact do as Elijah said.

"I think I just want to sleep." He whispered, needing some space. "Please." He added when no one moved. He heard Kol and Klaus sigh before Kol pressed another kiss to his cheek and the weight on top of him disappeared.

"Call us if you need anything." Elijah said and then he too was gone.

"It will be okay, Jeremy." Klaus whispered, far closer than he had been.

Jeremy opened his eyes to see the hybrid standing next to the bed, "Whatever it is. It will be okay." Klaus said again when he saw Jeremy look at him.

Jeremy nodded. It felt like the thing to do. Not because he believed. He hated the way Klaus's eyes narrowed. But if his boyfriend didn't believe him he didn't say anything just leaned down over him and kissed him. He was gone before Jeremy could return it.

He laid there for a few minutes, letting the fear and worry swirl around in his bed before he pushed himself up and dug his phone out of his pocket. He sent off four text messages. He only knew where two of the recipients were, literally the other side of the world. He hopped all four got and read the messages soon. Then in a moment of recklessness he found his jacket and climbed out the window.
