It had been an odd question, coming out of nowhere. What would you do if you saw a man hit a woman? Nonetheless, Tsuna didn't see any harm in answering the old lady.
Tsuna frowned in deep thought, considering it carefully before speaking, "Why? Why would he hit her? Although I admit there are the rare few that would get violent for little to no reason, all the men I know wouldn't have gone violent without an important reason. They would give back as good as they got, of course, but I think that's how they express that they see women equally. So I'd ask first why he would do something like that."
The old lady eyed her critically before nodding and walking away. Tsuna didn't think much about it before resuming walking. It was a nice day, and the fluffy-haired brunette wanted to spend it taking a relaxing walk in the park. A bit of time for herself amidst the chaos that is her life.
Natsumi got taken aback by the question suddenly posed to her by an old lady. The female Emiya was sitting at a bench in the park, relaxing when she was asked out of the blue. What would you do if you saw a man hit a woman?
For a split-second, Natsumi contemplated just ignoring the question but decided to answer. Maybe after that, she'd be left alone. She replied, "Separate them and make sure they won't be able to hurt each other. 'Cause if I were the woman, I would definitely retaliate. Maybe a kick or a knee in between the legs." The older woman looked taken aback by Natsumi's blunt and candid answer. "Then I'd call the police or security, depends where it happened, then let them sort it out," Natsumi finished because not her problem. She has enough of those, thank you.
The older woman seemingly recovered and eyed her before leaving.
Yay. Natsumi resumed savoring the fresh air.
A door slammed open, revealing one harried Giotto Vongola. "Where were you?!" the blond asked in Italian. It came out louder than he meant, but he was worried.
Daniela Vongola raised an eyebrow at her grandson. "The local park," was the blunt answer. She reflexively ignored the young man's fretting as she ruminated at the two young women she talked to in the park. She went to meet them because they had garnered a higher than usual regard from the people around Daniela. She wanted to know what the fuss was all about.
One was obviously Sawada Setsuna, Sawada Iemetsu's daughter. Also, Giotto's ex (and that was quite the gossip). Daniela didn't know what Timoteo was thinking, letting his son date an underage student. Admittedly, Daniela put an end to it as soon as she heard without getting to know the girl, but the girl was only sixteen at that time. The girl had quite the number of males fall for her upon meeting her, the previous Vongola matriarch heard. Daniela could honestly see the charm when she met the girl personally. Sawada Setsuna's answer to Daniela's question was interesting, to say the least.
The other is one of their high school scholarship students, Emiya Natsumi. The girl had Byakuran Gesso (of all people) claiming her as his best friend. Timoteo had mentioned her a few times, and Giotto had been making a noise expressing concern for her several times lately. Not unusual for the two when discussing students. Making the Hibaris react at the mention of her name is a bit more noteworthy. But giving Xanxus a dressing-down? Daniela wanted to meet the girl who thought she could do it and have the guts to actually do it. Emiya Natsumi's answer was, in hindsight, the standard way to deal with a situation. But the reason behind separating the theoretical man and woman was hilarious.
It goes to say that Daniela's curiosity about these two girls was peaked.

Here's an extra (and short…and extra short) chapter this week because things are NOT okay right now. Apparently, someone went to work on Monday with a fever because they had been assigned something urgent.
Long story short, we're scrambling to get the people they interacted with for a swab test.
Please, please don't take such risks. If not for your sake, then for everyone you'd interact with.

END OF CHAPTER!
