A/N: If anyone would like a stand alone story about why Tony disowned his family and had someone else legally adopt him, then please PM me. I'd be happy to do it, but only if any of my reviewers would like it.
We arrived at the ballpark in about 15 to 20 mins. I was surprised that Silverdawn had actually kept up with us. She moves pretty good for someone her age. She doesn't look a day over 50, although I think she's probably in her 70's. early to mid 70's, for sure.
As we walked up to the opening of the ballpark, we noticed the line was pretty long. It looked like they were taking tickets for the event. We had about 6 people ahead of us before we got to the front.
When it was our turn, the ticket taker asked for ours. We explained that we were invited by the band.
"I don't care if you were invited by the mayor of Chicago. You're not getting in without a ticket. Now, move aside so people with tickets can get in."
I pulled out my cell phone and called Jake. I told him what was going on and he made a beeline straight for the front of the ballpark.
He confronted the ticket taker and told him that we were guests of the band. The ticket taker was standing firm on what he said regardless of what Jake said.
"I just happen to know the event coordinator and he approved of them coming without needing tickets. Do I need to call him, James?"
"I'm standing firm, sir. No ticket, no entry."
Jake pulled his cell phone out and called the event coordinator to the front of the ballpark. When the event coordinator gets called, its never a good thing.
It wasn't long 'til the event coordinator walked up and he didn't look happy. Jake and I both explained that the ticket taker refused my family and I entry without a ticket.
"James, they are guests of the band. Let them in or you are fired. Understand?"
"Yes, sir." Then let us through the gates.
Jake had given us all VIP passes for the entire event. We noticed that there were all sorts of vendors here, too. Quite a few beer vendors that I couldn't wait to check out. Silverdawn noticed some jewelry booths that she wanted to check out. Tyrone saw some video game booths and went to go check them out.
"Make sure to meet back at the front when the concert is over, ok?"
"Ok, mom. If you need me, you can call my cell."
"Ok, Ty. Just be safe. Don't know what kind of weirdos are here."
"Would you mind if I went to check out the jewelry booths, sweetie?"
I smiled. "Have fun, mom. Like I told Ty, be careful of the weirdos that might be here."
"I will, sweetie."
I couldn't help but notice that Throttle was staring at some Harley's on display. I put my hand on his shoulder and told him to roam.
"Thanks babe. If you wanna perform with your old band, you can. After hearing you with that Disturbed song, I don't wanna stop you from doing what you love and you love to sing. I can't wait to hear you on stage tonight."
I smiled and hugged Throttle. "Thanks, love. I'll see you later tonight." Then I took off for the stage to surprise the rest of the band. Jake didn't tell them that I was coming with my family.
I think Jake was surprised at my looks or didn't really take notice.

When I walked up onto the stage, Jake walked up to me. This time, he really took a good look at me.
"That really you, girl?"
"Heh, yeah, its really me. Where's the rest of the band?"
"Getting some lunch. I'll call them right now and have them come back to the stage." Then he got his cell phone out again and called them.
While we waited for the rest of the band to come back, he asked me how I became a giant mouse.
"The term is Martian Mouse, Jake. I have my husband to thank for this look. He saved my life 16 yrs. ago. My Human blood was very toxic and was killing me. I had no idea that it had been doing that to me my whole life. When I got the transfusion from him, I turned into a Martian Mouse. The only thing that didn't change was my face for some odd reason. To this day, we can't figure out why my face didn't change."
"I thought you all were wearing costumes or something, but since you explained your looks to me, none of you are wearing costumes."
"Nope. It was a shock for me when my tail was the first thing to grow. I had to get use to that being attached to me."
"I bet. Have you thought about what we talked about?"
"Yeah, I have and I talked it over with my husband. He told me to go for it. He likes to be involved in my decisions."
"Sounds good. The others are going to be ecstatic. I know my dad would be glad to see you. He loved you like a daughter."
"I loved him like a father. If I had known sooner, I would have been at his funeral."

While we were talking, the rest of the band showed up.
"Hey, Jake. Why'd you have us come back to the stage?"
"You're lunch is more important than seeing an old friend, Bri? Really?"
It took Brian a few minutes to recognize my voice. Once he did, he gave me a big hug.
"Its good to see you, too, Brian. Jake told me about Ian. I'm so sorry."
Brian let go of me. "Thanks. So, what have you been doing with your life since high school?"
"Well, you know I went into the Marines a year after graduating. About 20 yrs. after, I retired but I train the new recruits now and then. Got a job with the Chicago Blackhawks as their manager. Got married and had twins 16 yrs. ago. I've been very busy with my life."
"What's with the costume, Mike?"
I looked and saw both Sean and Seamus walk up the stairs and over to all of us.
"Not a costume, Sean. This is really me."
Seamus wasn't much for talking. He hugged me then smacked me across the face. I rubbed the side of my face.
"What the fuck, Sunny?"
Sean smacked his brother upside the head. "She doesn't know, bro."
"What don't I know, Sean?"
"Dad passed away same time Ian did. Before dad passed, he told me to give you this." Then he pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to me.
"Last time we used Seamus' nickname was when dad was on his deathbed. He doesn't want that nickname used anymore."
I nodded then unfolded the piece of paper that Sean handed me. After I carefully unfolded it, I noticed that it was my birth certificate. I looked at Sean in shock.
"How is this possible? My family is dead. My parents and brother all passed away yrs. ago."
"Dad didn't know that mom had put you up for adoption. A nice married couple adopted you and raised you as their own. Dad never got to meet you the day you were born."
"Are you telling me that grumpy Chet is my…biological father?"
Sean nodded. I was really shocked that I needed to sit down.

From the distance, Throttle was watching everything that was unfolding on the stage. He walked over to a beer vendor and got me an ice cold beer and brought it over to me.
He walked up the stairs and over to me and handed me the beer.
"You ok, babe? I saw what was going on."
All I did was hand him my birth certificate.
"What's this?"
"Its my birth certificate. Sean and Seamus' father is also mine. I just found out that the family I had that passed away, had adopted me shortly after I was born. Sean and Seamus are my brothers."
I heard someone clear their throat and I looked over and saw Jake clearing his throat again.
"My bad. Throttle, I'd like you to meet Jake, his brother Brian, Sean and his twin brother, Seamus. Guys, meet Throttle, my husband."
Everyone shook hands.
I looked at Seamus with a death glare. I wanted to smack him across the face, but I think he would have started a brawl after.
"Sean, why didn't you or dad ever contact me after the Marines? I've always had the same number since high school."
"I had been tempted to, but dumbass over here, told me not to." He pointed to his brother to emphasize his point.
"Seamus, you egotistical son of a bitch! Why would you stop Sean from contacting me? I've been wondering what happened to everyone after I left for the Marines."
"I told him not to cause once you left, you never made any attempt to contact dad and let him know he had a daughter."
"You're a bastard, Seamus!" Then I looked to Jake.
"I'm not sure if I wanna sing tonight, Jake. It seems Seamus doesn't want me here."
Sean pulled his brother aside and told him that Ian wanted this request of Mike.
"Don't screw it up. We promised dad that we wouldn't screw this up for Jake. Mike gave the band to Jake after she left for the Marines. Can you try to be civil 'til after the concert?"
Seamus looked at me, then back at his brother. "I guess I can."
"It wouldn't hurt if you also apologized to her. She wanted to hit you back, but didn't. Honestly, bro, I wouldn't have blamed her if she had."
Jake and I were talking about me reconsidering to sing tonight. "All depends on if Sean can get Seamus to chill the fuck out."
Throttle put his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him. "Babe, you need to relax. I understand that you just got some disturbing news, but if you don't feel like you can do this, then don't."
"Thing is, Throttle, it was the last thing that Ian wanted from me before he died. I can't do that to him. Even in death, he'd never forgive me. I have to do this, even if Seamus hates me right now."
"I doubt he hates you, sis. He just didn't like that you never reached out to dad before he died."
Both of them walked up to us and Seamus leaned over and hugged me. "I'm sorry, sis. I shouldn't have smacked you. After so long of not seeing or hearing from you, I should have greeted you with open arms. Instead, I greeted you with open arms and a smack to the face. I also should have let Sean contact you when he wanted to back then."
I hugged him back with one arm cause I was still holding my beer. "Apology accepted, bro. Can we be civil from here on out?"
"Yeah, we can. Is it possible to meet your son?"
"I'm ok with it if his father is." Then I looked at Throttle. "That ok, honey?"
"Yeah, its ok to meet my son, Seamus. Thank you for asking." Then he pulled out his cell phone and called Tyrone.
"Yeah dad?"
"Can you come to the stage, please?"
"Yeah. I'll be right there. I wanted to talk to you and mom about a game I'm thinking about."
"When you get here, we'll talk about it."
"Ok dad. See ya shortly." Then Throttle ended the call.
"He'll be here shortly." Then he looked at me. "Ty wants to talk to us about a game he's thinking about for his Xbox. I told him we'd talk about it when he gets here."
I had finished my beer and asked Throttle to get me another one. "I think one is enough for now. You don't need to be drunk when you perform."
I gave him a dirty look, then stood up and walked off the stage to get myself another beer.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
I had passed Ty on my way to get another beer. He didn't like the look on my face when we passed by each other.
When he walked up the stairs and over to his father, he asked about the look on my face when he passed by me.
"She's upset that I cut her off with one beer. She's performing with her old band mates tonight. I didn't think her being drunk would be good."
"Maybe she needs the courage to sing again. When was the last time she sang, dad?"
"The day we started dating."
"What was the song?"
"The new Disturbed song, The Sound of Silence."
"Ok. Maybe you should let her have a couple more. Just make sure she doesn't get drunk. I don't think 3 will get her drunk, dad."
"I honestly don't know what 3 will do to her, Ty. I don't need your mother turning into a drunk."
"I get that, dad. I do. I don't want mom that way, either."
While they were talking, Jake cleared his throat. Throttle and Tyrone turned around.
"Sorry. Jake, everyone, this is my son, Tyrone. Ty, this is Jake, his brother, Brian, Sean and his brother, Seamus."
Ty shook all their hands. "So, my mom was in your band, huh? For how long?"
"Ty!"
Ty looked at his dad. "What? I thought it was an honest question, dad."
"It was an honest question, Tyrone. Your mom was with us for about a year before she left for the Marines."
Ty looked at his father again. "You didn't tell me that mom was a U.S. Marine, dad?"
"You never asked, Ty."
"That would explain the absence a lot, wouldn't it?"
"Yes, it would. She always made sure she was home after she was done training the new recruits."
Seamus pulled out a picture of the whole band before Michelle left and showed Tyrone.
"This is us back in high school when we first started playing. It was our senior year of high school."
Tyrone took the pic and couldn't believe how young his mother looked. He looked at Seamus.
"Mind if I keep this, Seamus?"
"Not at all. I've been holding on to this so that one day I could give this to her offspring."
"Thanks Seamus. Its odd that she never mentioned she was in a band."
"Probably didn't want you to treat her like a rock star."
"I wouldn't see her as a rock star. She's my mom. I love her no matter what she did in her past or what she does now. I know she's bringing in the money to keep food on the table and clothes on my back. Just wish my twin brother would have learned that."
Sean and Seamus looked at each other then at Tyrone.
"You have a twin brother? Why isn't he here?"
"My twin brother, Tony, disowned all of us except my grandpa. My mom's best friend, Charley and her husband, Modo, legally adopted him. My mom hasn't been the same since that day."
"Your mom allowed it, didn't she?"
"Yeah, but that's cause she didn't want Tony to hate her the rest of his life. Thing is,…"
"She hates herself anyway?"
"Yeah, how'd you know?"
"She's our sister, Tyrone. Which makes you our nephew."
