Chapter Twenty-Five

Gotham City – Mystique's Ship
Jinx

With a roundhouse kick performed by Jinx, Shatterstar's head crashed through the ship's window before he fell back to the ground unconscious.

Domino loaded a pistol and began to fire it at Jinx but she flipped onto the ceiling and bounced from seat to seat before nailing Domino in the head with her knee, sending the unconscious woman down.

Jinx then fluidly fell to the ground and rolled forward to Boom-Boom and then let up, hooked her arm around Boom-Boom's neck and drove it down into a DDT, knocking her third opponent unconscious.

"Easy!" Sym-Alpha said excitedly. "They didn't stand a chance against our might!"

Jinx panted and stood up and eyed the unconscious opponents and said "Far too easy…" It was then the door opened to reveal Mystique, who clapped at the display.

"Very good. You did very, very well…" Mystique said with a praising tone. "Defeating three tough Slade-Bots are truly magnificent."

"Slade-Bots?" Jinx asked before she glanced at the bodies and to her surprise, she saw their skin melting to reveal a machine-like skeleton beneath them.

"There's no way…I would have been able to smell that they weren't human…" Sym-Alpha said.

"How?" Jinx merely asked.

"State of the art androids, my dear…Able to fool even Superman himself," Mystique said. "You really think I would have my team combat you and you're little friends here when we could be out searching and taking the Infinity Stone? They are already searching for the Reality Stone, The Space Stone and the Soul Stone. Well, except Siryn and Archangel, who should be acquiring the Time Stone now."

"You wouldn't reveal your plans like this unless you intend to kill me," Jinx said.

"Smart girl," Mystique said.

Jinx scowled beneath her mask as Mystique laughed. "You should really give me more credit…We had all of this planned before your cute pink head even stepped in Gotham. You just happened to fall right into my hands."

"I will stop you. I have the ability to," Jinx warned.

"I'm sure you do. Unfortunately…." Mystique paused and suddenly an intense ringing appeared in Jinx's head. "You'll always lose."

"You may want to jump!" Sym-Alpha exclaimed. Jinx found herself leaping and sticking to the ceiling just as Mystique pressed a button on the wall and seconds later, the airship's floor opened up and everything in the area began to fall down to the ground below.

"Interesting," Mystique said with amusement, standing on a platform right before the trap floor of the ship. The floor then close as Mystique let out a low chuckle and said "You saw it coming. How very impressive."

"Hard not to do, you dramatic bitch!" Jinx exclaimed.

"I should rectify that then," Mystique said.

The ringing returned in Jinx's head as a suddenly smirking Mystique pressed another button on the wall. Jinx tried to string a web towards the blue skinned woman but the section of the ship that Jinx was in suddenly broke away from the cockpit of the airship.

Jinx ran on the ceiling as Mystique yelled "Arrivederci Jinx!" as she turned and walked back into the cockpit.

"This is not fun!" Sym-Alpha yelled in horror as Jinx began to free fall in the detached section of this ship Jinx tried to stay on the wall but she kept getting bounced around. "Daddy! Help!" Sym-Alpha screamed in terror.

"This is so fucked!" Jinx wailed as she tumbled against the ceiling and floor "Oh my god! I'm going to die!" Jinx screamed.

Gotham City – Sky
Venom

Flying through the air on wings made from Sym, Venom soared towards the large ship, which was currently in combat with Mystique's ship. He could see someone in front of the ship causing the various missiles from the opposing ship to explode while bursts of purple energy flew from an opening.

"That's our way in," Sym said as the wings on the suit narrowed along with Venom's eyes as the speed of his flight increased. As soon as he was close to the ship, Venom latched onto the bottom of it and said "Man…Who knew me losing my powers would put me into this type of chaos?"

"I am amazed at how wonderful you are adapting to it all," Sym said. Venom could feel a hint of embarrassment from her. "I am truly glad I chose you to be partners with…I was afraid you'd reject me like…he did."

Venom paused for a moment and let a tender smile appear on his face. "I was lost before you," Venom told her softly. "You could have chosen anyone in the world and yet, you found me and gave me the power I needed to protect…I wouldn't be the person I am without you Sym."

"Garfield…" Sym said softly.

"You and me, we're partners through thick and thin…You're stuck with me," Venom finished.

"And I to you…" Sym replied.

Venom felt affection flowing around him and shut his eyes for a moment to savior and return the affection before he added "Besides, we have a child together. Which I hope you explain to me soon how that come about."

Venom then felt amusement come from Sym as she chuckled and replied "I will explain as soon as we tear this person limb from limb for taking our friends captive."

A savage smirk appeared on Venom's face human face before he lifted his feet off the ship and swung forward and with a hard kick, the metal of the ship was dented and then broke, causing a massive hole which Venom flipped into and stuck to the ceiling and that was when he saw him.

Dressed in a regal attire was who he assumed was this "Loki" and anger filled in his veins.

Loki turned around and said "Ah, the spider. I've heard a lot about you from Rocket. Very impressive background hero but un-"

Without warning, Venom launched himself from the ceiling towards Loki but went through the man, sending him crashing to the floor.

"Just like my foolish brother…Fell for the oldest trick in my book," Loki replied before he faded away.

"Below you!" Sym shouted as Venom's spider-sense went off. Venom back flipped and burst of purple energy shot up from below him and exploded through the ceiling. Moments later, Loki floated up into view with a smirk.

"One time warning Loki. Release my friends or else," Venom said with growl.

"I am need of them," Loki responded. "However, I can lend on to you. Rocket!"

Venom's spider-sense went off again and he suddenly leapt to the ceiling to avoid a bolt of purple energy. He turned around to see Rocket standing in the doorway of the ship, her right palm glowing as energy flowed from her body.

"Rocket…" Venom whispered softly.

"Rocket. Please get rid of our pesky friend," Loki said.

"With pleasure," Rocket said before she ran towards Venom and aimed a punch at his head. Venom smacked the fist away but wasn't quick enough to stop the head-butt, which sent him stumbling backwards.

Rocket took a step to advance but Venom quickly ran forward wrapped his arms around her to keep her from fighting. "Rocket. It's me…I'm here. We don't have to do this!" Venom pleaded.

Rocket broke free from his grasp however and attempted to land a kick to his chest but Venom bent backwards to avoid it before flattening himself to the ground and rolling to the left to avoid her energy enhanced stomp.

Venom flipped to his feet but was quickly blasted in the chest by Loki's scepter, which sent him flying out of the window and through the air but Venom webbed the side of the ship to keep himself from getting too far.

Venom could see Loki lift up his spear and saw the purple gem beginning to shine and quickly released the web and let himself fall to avoid the large purple wave of energy. "Sym!" Venom shouted.

The Symbiote covered wings of Archangel sprang from his back and he quickly flew back to the ship at top speed and crashed through the cockpit forearms first, knocking Red X from his seat and down to the ground.

Red-X groaned as Venom whispered "Sorry man…" before he ran forward and used his shoulder to crash through the door, only to see Rocket's fist heading straight to his face. Venom swiftly avoided the jab and tackled Rocket off of her feet and onto her back but before his spider-sense could warn him, Black Cat's knee was inches from his face.

Venom blocked the knee with his forearm and shoved Black Cat's knee back before he was kicked off of Rocket, which sent him slamming into the ceiling of the ship before crashing back to the ground.

Venom stood up and saw a smirking Loki behind Black Cat and Rocket and felt anger flowing through his veins. "So sorry Spider," Loki said as he turned around and began to walk away "Better luck next time…Rocket!"

Rocket charged forward and the moment she got close, Venom threw a sharp punch at but Rocket ducked and landed a solid blow to the right side of his chest but Venom returned the punch with one of his own which struck her in the face, causing a brief purple flash to appear.

He quickly followed up that punch with a kick to her chest, sending her flying backwards down the aisle of the ship.

'That's right, each blow is adding to her power but I have no idea how to strike her down yet…' Venom thought to himself with agitation before he saw her attempt to stand up.

Venom charged towards the downed Rocket but when he got close enough to attack her, Rocket launched herself from her knee and gave a brutal uppercut, causing Venom's head to swing back into the air.

With a loud yell from his opponent, Rocket kicked the left side of his body, sending his body whipping down the aisle of the ship, near Loki's feet.

"Need some help?" Loki taunted.

Venom snarled and flipped to his feet and aimed two jabs at Loki but Black Cat appeared before him and blocked the two jabs and attempted a roundhouse kick but Venom blocked the kick and nailed her in the stomach before he turned around to avoid two haymakers from Rocket but got nailed by a kick to the gut.

Venom fell on his two knees but resisted falling to the ground completely but once he scrambled to his feet, he had to move his head to the left when Rocket's fist came into view, causing her fist to sail past him.

He then grabbed her arm and tossed her over his shoulder but before she could collide with Black Cat and Loki, she stopped her movements and lowered back onto the floor and turned around.

"Gotta be quicker Spider-boy," Loki told him as Rocket charged towards him again.

The moment Rocket got close to him, Venom instantly dodged the first two punches she threw then followed it up with a kick to her stomach wish caused another brief purple flash appear in the spot that he had kicked.

But he wasn't able to focus on it for long due to an uppercut that sent him flying towards backwards towards the cockpit but he managed to catch himself and managed to kick himself off the wall and sailed towards Rocket and landed a solid punch to Rocket's face.

But once again, a brief purple flash appeared where he had struck but it was then he noticed she did not react to the punch at all.

"It's gotten to that point…She's gotten stronger…" Sym noted as Venom took three steps backwards.

'Which means I'm in serious danger of being killed by her…' Venom thought. Rocket dashed towards him with speed she did not have before, causing his eyes to widen in shock that shock then grew to horror when he felt himself being launched off of his feet when her fist connected to his stomach, sending him soaring all the way to the to the wall near the cockpit door, nearly going through it.

'What the hell?! That punch was insanely harder than the ones she had thrown before! She broke a rib or two with that one…Now I see how Rhino felt that one time,' Venom thought as he fell to one knee, holding his left side.

"I'll heal you. Just focus," Sym said with worry in her voice.

'Every time I hit her, she absorbs my hits and adds the force of it onto her own…But there has to be a way to defeat her…' Venom thought before his eyes widened in realization. 'Wait…If Force adds to her power then maybe something that slices and pierces is able to nullify it…It would explain how Oblivion was able to take her down in the beginning…' Venom thought as he rose to his feet.

'But I don't want to kill her…I just need to slow her down…' Venom thought.

"As entertaining as this is…This battle is over Spider," Loki said. "Rocket…Kill him."

Without hesitation, Rocket dashed towards Venom and tackled him off his feet and flew through the ceiling of the ship.

Venom let out a hiss of pain as the steel sliced at his back and arms before he found himself bathed in the familiar cool air above Gotham City. Venom let out a growl and pushed himself off of Rocket and let himself free fall before the stolen wings sprouted from his suit.

He swerved to the right to face Rocket as she slowed down to a stop.

"Rocket. It's me. Gar. Don't you remember?" Venom said.

"I am bound to stop you by my master," Rocket replied.

"The Mind Stone's effect is truly powerful. It will take a lot to stop her," Sym warned.

Venom narrowed his eyes and exclaimed "Then I will do just that!" before he flew towards Rocket at top speed, which cause her to fly towards him as well. With both fits cocked, the two let out dual yells.

Gotham City – Sky
Loki Odinson

"Lord Odinson. The ship is heavily damaged. We aren't able to stay in the air," Black Cat said, snapping Loki from staring at the large hole in the ceiling of his ship.

"Then I guess our time together has come to an end," Loki said before he turned away and made his way to the back of the ship. "You all served me well but I need that Time Stone…"

Loki walked to a large item beneath a black cloth and whipped the cloth off to reveal an air-cycle. He swung his left leg to the other side and straddled it as he said "And because you all have helped me get this far, I will not kill any of you. But doesn't mean I'll save any of you either."

"Which is good because you're the one that's going saving," A voice said.

Seconds later, three X-Shurikens collided with the bike before it began to glow. Loki quickly leapt off of it just as it exploded. Loki rolled to the left and hiss in annoyance as Black Cat fell to the ground unconscious, revealing Red X.

"Seems you've snapped out of the control of the Mind Stone…" Loki said.

"Thank Spider for that…" Red X said cockily. "Now…time to take you down Odinson." With a flip of his cape, Red X tossed an "X" shaped smoke bomb at their feet, causing it to explode in front of the two, in casing them in smoke.

Pressing a button on his gauntlet, the "X" on the top of his glove began to glow until a medium sized X-blade was in its place.

Loki rose to his feet and aimed his scepter through the smoke and fired two waves of purple energy from the Power Stone, evaporating the smoke and nearly hitting Red X, who rolled out of the way of both waves of energy.

Red X got to his feet but was punched in the face Loki, causing him to fly backwards but he skidded to a stop and began to run forward again. Loki twisted the scepter and fired another burst of energy. This time, Red X held his X-blade in front of him to block the energy but the blade exploded from the impact of it while also sending him soaring back.

X managed to recover from it and land on his feet but Loki ran forward and swung the scepter at Red X's head. Red X ducked the swing of the sword then leapt up and kicked Loki in the face, making the green and gold wearing man skid backwards on the ground.

Loki rose on his feet and blocked two lunge attempts from Red X's blades before summoning a golden dagger in his left and swiped at Red X's head but Red X leaned back to avoid it aimed a kick at Loki's left foot.

Loki kicked the leg away and delivered a head-butt to Red X's head, causing the helmet of his opponent to crack while sending Red X skidding backwards.

"So you do have some skill," Red X said.

"As a son of Asgard, we are trained to be the best. Especially as a prince," Loki said coolly. "But unfortunately for you…We will have to end this duel." And without any warning, Loki turned aimed the scepter to the floor and fired, causing a hole beneath him to fall out of.

As Loki fell from the ground, he found himself heading towards a cloud and with a swirl of his hand, gold and green shimmering energy flowed from his hand and towards the cloud, which began to take the shape elongated being before exploding with energy, revealing a large, green and gold armored dragon.

Loki landed on the dragon and turned around and fired three bursts of energy at the ship he had previous occupied with his scepter, causing it to waiver heavily before one of the wings exploded. "Tht should cause some issues…"

Loki then pulled out a cell phone from the pocket of his jacket, dialed a few numbers then put it up to his ear. "It is now time for your role to come to fruition…Get the stone and then Look for the dragon." And with that, he closed the phone and looked back at the ship falling from the sky.

He saw a parachute open and knew it was Red X and Black Cat but he didn't' shoot it down. They had played their roles in his plans well and this would be his gift in letting them live.

But if they interfered, he wouldn't hesitate next time.

Gotham City – Arkham Asylum
Teen Titans

With a mighty yell, Starfire landed a brutal uppercut towards Killer Croc, sending the large mutant to the ground, unconscious. Behind her, Cyborg fired his Sonic Cannon at Clayface, sending the being soaring backwards into a group of criminals.

Cyborg saw Harley running towards him with a bat in hand and immediately ducked the wild baseball swing from Harley, which nailed a criminal in the face and sent them flying into a group as well.

Jubilee leapt onto Harley's shoulders then jumped off of them and with a snap of her fingers, summoned her "pyrotechnic energy plasmoids" aka her "Fireworks" that caused several villains to covers their eyes as Robin, wearing a dark shaded domino mask, quickly laid them out with several well placed punches and kicks.

"This is the weirdest team-up I've ever been in!" Jubilee said as she landed beside Cyborg and landed a punch to a criminal.

"But it's so much fun!" Harley said as she bobbed her head to some unseen song, tossing her bat up and down in her hand before she swung it and nailed a villain in the stomach, sending them to the ground before she kicked them in the face.

"How we teamed with Harley, I will never know," Cyborg replied before firing his Sonic cannon again, nailing the rising Killer Croc in the chest.

Suddenly, an explosion shook the area, which caused the pair to look up at the sky to see a ship falling. "That's not good…" The two said in unison.

Robin, seeing this as well, looked to Starfire and shouted "Starfire!"

"Right!" Starfire exclaimed as she flew towards the ship as fast as she could.

"We got them all down Robin," Cyborg said as his right arm morphed back to its original form.

"Whew," Jubilee said as she leaned against Harley on a mountain of unconscious prisoners. "That was rough…" Jubilee whined.

Harley panted as well but gave an exhausted thumbs-up. "Best beatdown I eva delivered!" Harley exclaimed with a grin.

"Hey…You guys see where Gambit went?" Jubilee suddenly asked, prompting Robin and Cyborg to look back at her.

"Actually…no…" Robin replied.

Jubilee grumbled and said "Mama 'Ro is going to be so disappointed when I tell her…If I can find out where she and Logan went…"

"We should go and find-" without warning, green smoke began to fill the area, causing the four to look around in surprise.

"I'm starting to get light headed…" Harley complained weakly before she slumped forward unconscious, followed by Jubilee and Cyborg, both of slumped forward and fell to the ground. Robin began to stumble backwards as his vision began to swim as well.

"Wha…" Robin barely got out before he fell to the ground, unconscious as well.

A few moments passed and Gambit appeared from behind a wall, holding a grenade in his hand. "Sorry gang," the Cajun thief said. "Can have you getting in the way…" Gambit then pulled out a cell phone and said "Mystique, they are out of the fight for now. Shall I pursue the stone?"

"Siryn went to get the stone. I want you meet us at the rendezvous point with the others. We'll be there shortly as soon we get rid of our pesky guest…As for those brats…Get rid of them," Mystique's voice replied with annoyance before she cut off contact.

Gambit nodded and pulled out a cigarette and lit up a King of Hearts card and ignited it with energy and lit the smoke.

He took a drag and tossed the card away, causing an explosion in the distance as he gave a salute to the unconscious figures and said "Au re'oir." As he walked away, the sounds of explosions could be heard throughout various parts of the asylum.

Gotham City – Arkham Asylum

A loud explosion shook the area, prompting a cloaked figure to lean up from their cot and let out a loud yawn.

"Good morning to me," the figure said before they stood up and stretched out their limbs. They walked to their secure bolted door and to their surprise, the door creaked open. "That's weird…" They noted as before they realized something else.

The collar around their neck was off.

They pulled at the collar and it slide off easily, which caused a grin to appear on their face. "Holy shit…I'm free!" They yelled as they flew down the halls of Arkham, the sounds of explosions reaching their ears.

But the moment they reached the main area of the prison, they saw a sight that surprised them.

Laying unconscious was the familiar sight of Robin and Cyborg, along with Harley and some girl in a yellow jacket.

And they were in the middle of a large group of unconscious criminals.

But one person was missing from the group.

The figure cocked their head and flew down towards the unconscious group and said "Well…Isn't this a treat…" They picked up Robin and Cyborg and for a moment, they contemplated on the yellow wearing girl and Harley Quinn.

"They must have something to do with this considering they were so close to these two. Meh, what the hell, I'll take them with. They'll just have to owe me one," The figure replied with a arrogant smirk before they picked up the two girls as well and flew away into the night.

Gotham City – Docks
Raven and X-23

With a supersonic scream, Siryn blasted both Raven and X-23 backwards, sending the pair through a brick wall of a fishing store. Raven managed to recover and formed a black orb where both parties crashed into them and fell to the ground.

"Damn her and her screams," X-23 said sourly as she stood up.

"You can say that again," Raven said, matching X-23's tone. "But her screams can be silence."

X-23 glanced at her and said "You've got a plan."

Raven let a smirk grace her face as she replied "It could kill her if I mess up once on my incantation."

"Alright, I got it. You sit tight beautiful. I got this," X-23 said.

X-23 saw a faint blush appear across Raven's pale cheeks before the Goth snorted and said dryly "Beautiful she says. You must say that to all the heroes fighting for their lives."

"Sometimes," X-23 replied gruffly as she rolled her right shoulder. "So before I go out there and by you some time, what's your backup plan?"

"That I am not too sure…I think I will go with Beastboy's way and wing it," Raven replied.

"Beastboy…The adorable green titan that disappeared?" X-23 asked. X-23 wouldn't admit it but she did find that titan pretty cute but in a weird baby brother sort of way. He was just so endearing anytime she happened to see him on TV, it made her smile.

"The very same. He used to fly by the seat of his pants during these battles, Figured I would do the same," Raven replied, her voice taking a softer tone.

"Sore point?" X-23 asked.

"No…Just some recent realizations I made before Loki…" Raven replied, her voice still soft before she added with a stronger voice "She's coming."

X-23's eyes locked on Siryn's form, which was currently landing on the ground and smirked. "I see her." X-23 rubbed her left wrist and began to walk out of the building as she said to Raven "Do what you need to do Raven, I'll deal with her."

X-23 charged towards Siryn and aimed a flying kick at her but Siryn ducked the flying kick and attempted a round house kick in return. X-23 bent her body all the way back, making her head touch the ground with a grin as her opponent's leg sailed over her.

X-23 quickly rose around to block Siryn's punch to her skull and then block the kick to her left side and pushed it away, only for her eyes to widen in surprise when she spun around and kicked her in her gut with her other foot.

X-23 stumbled backwards and quickly grabbed Siryn's right fist which was close to hitting her fae and with almost no effort, she tossed her off her feet and away from her but she managed to recover in the air and land on her feet.

Siryn charged towards her then leapt into the air to try a diving punch to her head but at the last possible moment, X-23 moved her head to the side to avoid the blow but immediately felt Siryn's knee hit her chest as hard as possible, sending her stumbling back and clutching her chest, trying to will herself to breath from that sudden blow.

But seeing Siryn preparing a strike, X-23 moved her hand away from her chest and caught Siryn's foot with both of her hands and put her foot to the side before pulling her close and tripping her off her remaining foot while placing her free hand on her chest, making her fall the ground hard.

Siryn flipped to her feet and let out a supersonic yell towards X-23, who felt it collide with her and was sent soaring backwards into the air. X-23 landed on the roof of the building Raven was in and watched as Siryn flew up to her and tried to land a punch to her face.

X-23 easily maneuvered away from her attack and smacked her in the back of the head playfully, hopping backwards with a grin on her face.

Siryn turned around with a low growl of "Take this serious" before she began to throw out a flurry of blows towards the X-Force leader. X-23 let her instincts take over from there, ducking, dodging, jumping, maneuvering and blocking each and every one of her flurried attacks.

X-23 caught both fists and said "I was so sure you'd put up more of a challenge. I'm really disappointed."

"I…Hate you…." Siryn growled out.

"Why? I should be saying those words to you, traitor," X-23 said with a calm voice.

"You took my spot…I should have been in command of the team, not some upstart like you," Siryn hissed out.

"So you betrayed Gotham for jealousy? That's even more pathetic than I thought," X-23 said, which caused fury to appear in Siryn's eyes.

'Good, she's angry now which means she's going to get even sloppier,' X-23's thought drifted off as she blocked three of Siryn's punches before getting kicked in the side of the head by her right foot, sending her rolling to the side of the roof and skidding to a stop on one knee.

X-23 then lifted both arms to block Siryn's axe kick and with a smooth motion, the X-Force leader spun around and swept her feet from beneath her but Siryn used her powers to hover off the ground and back onto her feet but she quickly sent her soaring in the air with an elbow to her chin.

X-23 watched as Siryn stopped mid-flight and flew towards her with a speed boost and quickly returned to the offensive and one more, X-23 continued to play keep away with Siryn's attacks before placing a well-aimed elbow to her stomach, ceasing her movements while knocking the air out of her and with a small smirk, X-23 twisted her body and kicked her in her chest, sending Siryn soaring backwards into the air.

Siryn stopped her flight let out a furious yell, sending the various trees that were in front of the building towards the mutant. X-23 unsheathed the claws in her legs and stabbed them into the roof and used the claws in her arms to swing at the oncoming trees, slicing each one in half to keep them from striking her.

It was then X-23 heard an otherworldly shout of "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" come through the supersonic yell and seconds later, a black and white aura flew from the roof and collided with Siryn, causing the supersonic scream to fade away and the Irish girl to fall to the ground.

X-23 re-sheathed her claws as Raven floated through the roof and hovered beside her. "See? Child's play."

Raven chuckled in response and the two walked to the edge of the roof and saw Siryn struggling against the black and white aura chains wrapped around her mouth, legs and chest. "Child's play," Raven replied. "To make it better…she never got her hands on the Time Stone," Raven said as she opened her palm to glance at the glowing stone.

"Can't believe we went through that bit of trouble for such a small thing…" X-23 said. Without warning, a bird swapped down and snatched the stone from the palm of Raven's hand, shock the pair.

Raven immediately turned around and shouted "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" Several items began to glow then flew towards the bird but it was faster, avoiding each item before it flew and dropped the stone into a hooded figure's hand, who was standing on the edge of a building.

"Thank you for the delivery Raven…Much appreciated," the figure taunted before he glanced ahead and said "You better catch that before a lot of people die."

Both X-23 and Raven turned around to see a falling spaceship heading towards downtown Gotham.

"Shit!" They both swore as the figure darted off into the night.

"I'll go after that person! You stop that thing," X-23 ordered before she ran off after the figure

Raven nodded and flew towards the falling ship at top speed but to her surprise, another figure flew beside her.

"Sorry it took so long for me to break out of that," Jean said with a grin on her face.

"Glad to see you're unharmed Jean," Raven said with relief. "But one of us should go chase after that person with X-23."

"X-23 is here?!" Jean said with surprise.

Raven nodded.

"One of us should but who? The other would be alone," Jean said.

"I will not let that happen!" Starfire's voice said, prompting both Raven and Jean to turn to see her. "Friend Raven and a new friend! I am here to help!" Starfire said with a bright smile.

"Star…It's really good to see you again," Raven said with a tiny smile on her face.

"I'm Jean…I heard a lot about you Starfire," Jean said with a smile.

"Hello friend Jean. I will be most glad to talk the shoot with you but we must stop that nefarious Loki and save Gotham!" Starfire said with a pout.

"I will go after X-23 to help take down that person," Raven said. "You two stop the ship."

Jean giggled and said "Alright. See you on the other side Raven!"

"Good luck," Both Starfire and Jean Grey said in unison as Raven broke from the group and flew in the opposite direction.

"Let's go stop this ship!" Starfire said excitedly before the two sped off together.

Gotham City
X-23

X-23 ran leapt from roof to roof as she followed the hooded figure.

The figure was fast but she was faster. It was then she heard a roar and looked to see Loki riding on a dragon, which lowered beside the figure, who leapt up to the dragon.

"You're not getting away that easily!" X-23 exclaimed as she stomped her foot down which forced her into the air and landed on the dragon. Loki and the figure turned around and faced her, Loki's face morphed into an infuriating smirk.

"Ah Laura Kinney. The famed X-23 of the X-Force…Come to take the stone as well?" Loki asked.

"You attacked the X-Men and brought chaos to Gotham…I will stop you here," X-23 said.

Loki held out both hands and said "You can try but I've already defeated many and swayed them to my side. You will just be another on both lists but unfortunately I have no time to fight. However, you will just have to do with her instead," Loki said as he gave a bow.

The figure removed her cloak to reveal a woman with flowing purple hair, a leather dark purple colored leotard with a flowing red sash around her hips and knee high leather purple boots with purple leather wrappings around both thighs.

X-23 held out her right hand and closed her fist, causing a blade made of pink energy to flow from her hand. "X-23, allow me to introduce you an acquisition I made when I first began my mission. Meet Psylocke…"

X-23 narrowed her eyes and immediately unsheathed her two claws from her forearms that pierced through the space in between her index and middle knuckle and her ring and pinky knuckle and one single claw coming from her foot.

"You must understand, I always have plans…For I have planned this for a long time," Loki said as Psylocke turned around and placed the Time Stone into Loki's hand. Loki smirked and held the Time Stone up and said "Three down, one to go…Pyslocke, please take her down and rendezvous with me back to our hideout."

"Understood Lord Odinson," Pyslocke said before she swiftly dashed towards X-23 while Loki smirked and vanished in swirl of green and purple energy.

Gotham City – The Sky
Venom

"This is so annoying!" Venom growled furiously as he flew away from Rocket's beam of energy before he took a sharp turn and flew at her and delivered a kick to her chest, which caused Rocket to fly backwards before she let out a yell and stopped her movement.

She then dashed forward and landed a blow to Venom's stomach before she aimed a jab at his face but Venom sprayed webbing into her eyes, causing her to move away from him. Venom then twisted his body and landed a hard kick to her face, which sent her soaring down to the ground.

"You can't keep trading blows with her like this," Sym advised as Venom gripped his stomach with a groan of pain. "She's only absorbing the blows, not taking them."

'I know but I have a plan,' Venom thought as he soared down to Rocket, who once again stopped her fall and began to fly towards him.

The two clashed in the middle of the sky and began to rapidly trade blows before Rocket landed a solid blow to Venom's stomach and then his face, nearly knocking Venom unconscious from the two blows.

The two broke away and Rocket held out her right hand and rapidly shot out several beams of energy, which Venom flew to avoid the energy beams but one of them shot the upper half of his left wing.

"God damn it! That hurt!" Sym growled furiously as Venom began to fall but managed to catch himself in the air but Rocket dashed up towards him and the two quickly entered another clash before Venom was sent spiraling down towards the city from a hard right hook.

Rocket shouted and shot down towards Venom and threw a right fist but Venom managed to move to avoid the punch and aimed a punch to Rocket's face but Rocket caught the punch. "You're only making me more powerful you idiot," Rocket said with a cold grin on her face.

Venom placed his feet on Rocket's chest and kicked her farther into the sky as he continued to fall towards the city. "Just need to get closer to the gro-"

"Daddy! Help!" Sym-Alpha's voice suddenly screamed in his head.

Sym yelled "Jinx and our daughter are in danger!"

"I heard!" Venom said as he took a turned and saw the disconnected section of the ship and saw Jinx being battered against the ceiling and floor of it.

Venom narrowed the wings dived towards Jinx but his other wing was shot from a beam from Rocket. "God damn it! Stop shooting my wings!" Sym exclaimed with anger.

'How long will it take you to heal them?' Venom asked.

"No telling when. Unlike you, the wings were metal and it takes longer for me to rebuild that. We're wingless," Sym replied with anger.

'Then this will have to do,' Venom thought as he dove down towards Jinx falling form. 'Use the wings as best as you can to help me avoid her blasts.' Venom thought as narrowed his eyes.

"You can't escape from me!" Rocket yelled as she fired three blasts towards Venom's falling form. As best as he could, Venom swayed to the left to avoid the first one then the to the right to avoid the second one but was nailed in the back by the third one.

Venom rocketed down while smoke flowed from his back as he yelled in pain but this was the speed he needed. He gritted his teeth and narrowed his body as best as he could as he shot through the entrance of the sectioned off ship and grabbed Jinx and fell through the exit.

"Oh my god you fucking bastard! I love you, I love you, I love you!" Jinx screamed as she wrapped her arms around him and kissed his masked face in several places, her voice filled with terror, relief and joy.

"Y-You saved me Daddy! I knew you would!" Sym-Alpha said with a teary tone in her voice.

"Not out of the woods yet! Get on my back and hang on!" Venom shouted as saw Rocket fly through the sectional. Jinx quickly climbed to Venom's back and wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist as Venom quickly turned around and shot two strands of webs at the top of the corridor.

Just as Rocket escaped the falling corridor and flew towards him, Venom let out a yell and tugged on the strands hard. The section fell forward sharply and nailed Rocket in the back where she and the large sectional sped past the pair.

"Hang on tight!" Venom ordered as he shot another web towards the sectioned off airship corridor and pulled himself to it sharply, making him sail past the it where he could Rocket at the front of it, falling.

He twisted his body and began to web her against the large corridor before Jinx shouted "The ground is coming up really damn quick!"

Venom looked down and nearly screamed in alarm. He quickly raised his arms and created a parachute made of webbing, which caused his body to jerk up sharply as the corridor crashed into several house below.

And five seconds later, an explosion of purple energy rocked the area, causing a gust of wind to slam against Venom and Jinx, making their bodies waver in the air before they settled.

"Shit…That was rough," Jinx mumbled against Venom's neck.

"How did that even happen?" Venom asked with an exhausted tone in his voice.

"Long story…" Jinx said.

The pair landed in the middle of the street of the now destroyed cul-de-sac and Jinx moved herself from Venom's back.

Gotham where the sectioned off ship had landed and placed Jinx onto the ground and winced at the damage.

"Help me find her," Venom said as he ran towards the main area of the wreckage. "Rocket!" Venom yelled. "Rocket! Where are you?!" Venom yelled again.

A few seconds passed and it was the he heard rubble from a destroyed house beside shift. Suddenly, Rocket pushed herself from the rubble with a pained groan and said "That really hurt…Fuck…"

"Rocket!" Venom yelled as he ran to Rocket and skidded to a stop, his mask melting into his suit to reveal his face.

"Gar!" Rocket let out a happy gasp and rose to her feet shakily and ran to Venom and the two embraced, with Venom lifting her up and spinning with an exhausted laugh. "You're okay!" the two said in unison before they laughed again.

"That was a nice trick trapping me in there. How did you know it would snap me out of the Mind Stone's influence?" Rocket asked.

"My friends told me about how they got free from the influence," Venom replied with an exhausted smile. "But your belt made it very hard to snap you out of it."

"I know. I put you through the wringer it looks like," Rocket said.

"I've been in nonstop action since China," Venom said as Jinx walked up to Venom and Rocket.

"I'm glad you two are reunited but Venom, did you forget about The Titans and the others?" Jinx asked.

"And who are you?" Rocket asked with a tilt of her head.

"Jinx…Me and him go back a bit," Jinx replied.

"Fuck! You're right Jinx! We need to get the others. They're all still in danger at Arkham!" Venom exclaimed.

"Red X! Black Cat! They were still in the ship and last I saw, that was going down!" Rocket yelled as her eyes widened in both horror and realization.

"Wait…" Jinx said as she pointed at a parachute. "Who is that?"

Rocket and Venom turned around to see Red X floating down with an unconscious Black Cat around his shoulders. "Hey," Red X said with a weary tone.

"X!" Both Venom and Rocket exclaimed in relief as Red X landed and stumbled forward before coming to a stop.

"Hey guys…Been a hot minute…" Red X said with a relieved tone.

"The gang is all together again…Well plus one," Venom said with a grin on his face. "Now let's head back to the city to help the others at Arkham."

"Arkham?" Red X repeated. "That place blew up."

"What?!" Venom and Jinx screamed in unison.

Gotham City
X-23 Vs Psylocke

'She is a lot faster than I gave her credit for,' X-23 thought as she tried to stab at the Kunoichi but Psylocke was dodging her claws at a quick speed but after the lunge of her right arm, Psylocke leapt up and kicked her twice before flipping backwards and throwing pink energy created kunai at X-23.

X-23 used her claws to slice through the three kunai before taking the last two in her right shoulder and right breast but before she could pull the blades out, Psylocke formed two energy created Katana, one in each hand, and swung them in tandem.

X-23 swung her claws and shattered the two blades but Psylocke swiftly created two energy kunai and stabbed the X-force leader in her right hip and in between two of her right ribs before leaping away.

X-23 grunted in anger and pain and removed the instruments within her and smirked, blood falling down her lips. "Fuck…you really aren't holding back are you?" X-23 asked.

"It is my mission to kill you," Psylocke stated with a detached tone, forming three kunai with her right hand and with a flicker of her body, Psylocke appeared behind X-23with the kunai in-between her fingers, her hand up in the air, ready to strike.

X-23 smirked and immediately turned around aimed her claws at Psylocke's face, causing Psylocke to force X-23's arm away by stabbing her with her three kunai where she then aimed a backhanded fist to X-23's face.

X-23 ducked the backhanded fist and kneed Psylocke in the stomach, causing the warrior to stumble backwards where was nailed hard in the fast by X-23's own backhanded fist, her claws slicing Psylocke's cheek.

Psylocke flew back but managed to recover into spiral flip but as she landed, X-23dashed forward and began to slash her claws at her at a furious pace and while Psylocke was able to maneuver away from her claws.

Psylocke ducked a swipe from X-23and threw down a smoke pellet, causing black smoke to burst into the scene, making X-23 cough heavily from the air intruding her lungs.

Smirking, Psylocke kicked X-23twice before she jumped into the air and wrapped her legs around X-23's neck then she spun around once before her legs locked themselves around the girl's neck and she used his momentum to slam X-23 into the ground head first.

Psylocke jumped out of the smoke and landed on her feet.

X-23 groaned and rose to her feet and shook her head and growled furiously before she flew out from the smoke at top speed and slammed her fist into Psylocke's stomach, before unsheathing her claws into Psylocke's stomach.

"N-Nice trick," Psylocke said with a smirk on her face before she pulled out another smoke pellet and threw it into X-23's face, causing a large plum of black smoke to fill their vision.

Psylocke pulled herself off X-23's claws and flipped onto X-23's outstretched arm and kicked her in the face hard, sending X-23 stumbling backwards.

Psylocke landed on the ground and held her stomach in pain for a moment before she dashed towards X-23 with her energy made kunai and slashed the blade down but X-23 moved to the side and kicked Psylocke in the chest, making her fall to the ground.

Psylocke flipped back to her feet only to sharply duck X-23's claw then effortlessly pulled her forward and landed a solid knee to X-23's gut then leapt up and kneed X-23 in the side of her head, sending X-23 to the ground.

Psylocke formed an energy katana and stabbed it down towards X-23's head but X-23 rolled out of the way, avoiding her instant death and quickly wrapped her legs around Psylocke's neck and began to squeeze as hard as she could.

Psylocke was trying to gather air into her lungs but X-23 was squeezing too tightly but Psylocke placed her right fist against X-23's left leg and summoned an energy kunai right into X-23's left leg.

X-23 screamed out in pain as the blood flowed free from her left leg but Psylocke dismissed the kunai and lifted her body off the ground, with X-23's legs still tight around her neck and slammed her against the armored dragon's hide twice, each one knocking the wind from X-23's body before Psylocke tossed X-23 away.

X-23 slammed into the armored hid of the dragon and skidded before she stood up only to slightly stumble due to wound in her leg.

Psylocke flickered before her with two energy kunai and repeatedly stabbed X-23 in the chest before she leapt up and stabbed X-23 in the neck with an energy made kunai. X-23 let out a horrified scream as the energy coursed through her body before she slumped forward.

Psylocke caught the limp body of X-23 and tossed her off the dragon, where X-23's body crashed through a roof.

"You were a challenge but none have beaten me," Psylocke whispered before she felt the dragon beneath her feet began to fade away.

Psylocke leapt from the dragon and rolled onto a roof just as the dragon turned into mist. Psylocke walked towards the edge of the roof and stared at the area where X-23 crashed and saw the girl's body resting on a destroyed bed.

She didn't kill the girl, despite knowing she should have but there was something about her that made her hesitate.

With a little more training, she could be a force to be reckoned with.

Psylocke then narrowed her eyes and noticed a cloaked figure flying around in the distance.. Psylocke formed a pink orb in her hand and tossed it in the area above X-23's body. "At least you will be found," Psylocke whispered before she turned and walked away.

Her mission successful.

Gotham City – Downtown
Jean and Starfire

"This is tougher than I expected!" Jean yelled as the her hands glowed with an fiery aura, which matched the Aura covering the front half of the ship while Starfire gripped the front of it and attempted to push it forward.

"This is very difficult," Starfire said with gritted teeth.

"Just focus Starfire!" Jean exclaimed with sweat dripping down her face.

Loki's ship, which looked to be Rocket's ship, the Iconic Star, was in a sorry state but if it managed to crash, so many lives would be lost. They had to work as fast as possible.

"It's going too fast!" Starfire yelled as she ship continued to fall downwards towards the city at top speed, despite Starfire's physical and Jean's mental strength combined.

"I can't slow it down either," Jean exclaimed with terror in her voice.

But from the mental exhaustion Jean was facing from constantly fighting the Mind Stone's effect and Starfire's rumble down at Arkham, the pair was losing strength quickly.

Suddenly, a voice shouted "I gotta say baby sister, you sure get up to some weird stuff." Both Jean and Starfire turned around to see a figure standing on top of a skyscraper, their cloak flowing wildly in the wind.

"First I save your friends from their deaths at Arkham and now I'm going to save your ass from this? You really owe me one," the figure removed their cloak to reveal a smirking Blackfire to the pair.

Blackfire's hair was cut shorter than when Starfire had seen her last and the girl was wearing leather pants and a black shirt with a leather vest that held spikes on the shoulders but her feet stayed curiously bare.

"Komand'r?!" Starfire exclaimed with surprise.

"You know her?" Jean asked with a strained voice.

"She's my sister…" Starfire replied, her voice also strained.

Blackfire let out a yawn and leapt off the skyscraper before she flew towards the ship and slammed her palms against the ship and said "You look tired baby sister. You should rest those pretty little hands."

With a yell, Blackfire bent the metal beneath her fingers and with a mighty toss, she threw the ship in the direction of the Gotham river, where it crashed and exploded, sending water high into the air before it began to rain down on the city.

Blackfire slipped her hands into her pockets and said "You should have been able to do that easily. You must really be exhausted."

Starfire gave her a withered stare, sweat dripping down her face as Jean floated beside her, looking as tired as Starfire. "What are you doing here?" Starfire asked.

"I was at Arkham. Happened to wake up and see it was blowing up," Blackfire explained. "Saved your little friends and was about to book it when I saw this. I was bored so I went for it."

Starfire narrowed her eyes but there was something in Blackfire's eyes that told her something else but she couldn't understand what she saw.

"T-Thank you…" Jean said with a smile to Blackfire.

"Meh, I was bored and happened to be around. That's all," Blackfire replied with a bored tone before she added "So…Anyone want to tell me what's been going on?"

Rain: Holy fuck….It's finally done. This took a lifetime to finish. The next few chapters will be light hearted ones as I mentioned before. The big Titan reunion and my plans for Raven, Rocket and Jinx with the newly christened Venom. Until then.
