Gotham City - Streets of Gotham
Robin

"So, tell me about yourself!"

Robin looked back at X-23 briefly as he drove through the streets of Gotham on a motorcycle.

Property of X-Force of course.

"Not much to tell!" Robin yelled back. "Was Batman's sidekick and adopted son. Decided to branch out on my own and wound up creating the Teen Titans! What about you?!"

"Nothing much!" X-23 yelled. "I'm a clone of X-men's own Wolverine! My mother died and Wolverine and his wife Ororo Monroe adopted me along with Jubilee and a few others!"

"Being a clone after a famed hero? That's nothing to tell?!" Robin yelled.

"Just like being the sidekick and adopted by one?!" X-23 retorted.

Robin couldn't help but smirk and said "I think we're going to get along just fine!"

"I think I prefer that Boy Wonder," X-23 replied.

Robin could hear the faint traces of flirting in her voice and merely smirked.

After ten more minutes of driving, Robin stopped at a stop light but without warning, Red X, with Black Cat holding him from behind, stopped beside him. "Well, well well…If it isn't the boy blunder."

"Red X," Robin said with narrowed eyes.

"Hey there Black Cat. Heard you were the new cat-like thief after Catwoman," X-23 said with a lazy salute.

"X-23…I've heard your name around during some of my thefts. We'll have to spare sometime!" Black Cat replied happily.

"I'll accept that spar!" X-23 said cheekily.

"How about a race Robin? First one to the mansion wins," Red X challenged.

Robin narrowed his eyes and said "You're on."

The two revved up their motorcycles and once the light turned green, the two raced off as fast as they could.

Gotham City – X-Force Dorms
Rocket

"So this is where you are."

Rocket, who was currently wailing away against the punching back in the basement of the X-Force base, paused mid jab and turned her head to see Raven, who sat in a chair on the other side of the room.

Rocket quirked her eyebrow and asked "You were looking for me?"

"Yes. I wished to talk to you regarding B-Venom," Raven answered as she floated off the chair and floated up to the Champion City Hero. "I know that you harbor feelings for him and I wish to know how that came to be."

Rocket smirked slightly at this request. She was expecting many things but not this question. "I had met him the minute he came to Champion City and thought he was cute but a very powerful villain came to my city and would have killed me and many others had he not saved me…I guess you can say my fascination started there and it kind of grew…"

"I see…" Raven murmured.

"My feelings for him picked up when we were attacked by Mandarin's machines. It was then we shared our first kiss," Rocket continued with blush on her face. "By my feelings didn't fully come into effect when I thought I lost him forever…And then Loki happened."

Rocket then eyed Raven down and asked "Tell me, what caused you to have feelings for him."

"F-Feelings?" Raven stammered. "I have a small crush on him…Not anything more."

"Mhmmm," Rocket hummed, not convinced. "Well…Tell me when you realized you had a crush on him?"

"Little moments…" Raven admitted after a few moments. "He accepted me for who I was…Not only my anti-social human side but the half-demon I am as well…He comforted me after my heart was broken by my first crush...Before he lost his powers, he saved my life against a Beast…But my crush solidified after he lefdt…I was so scared and worried for him that I couldn't eat or sleep…I just wanted him back. And then Loki happened."

The two laughed at this and Rocket said "It seems our feelings match up…I really care for him…And knowing you have a crush on him somewhat bothers me and yet, I understand."

"So what do you propose we do?" Raven asked.

Rocket grinned and hung a towel over her shoulders and gripped the ends of the towel and said "I never officially asked him out on a date and I bet you haven't even thought that far so how about in the morning, we both ask him out. You can take him out in the morning and me in the evening."

"Are you suggesting he dates us both?" Raven questioned.

"We're heroes for goodness sake. Life is too short. No sense in us trying to fight for him. Let him decide and go from there," Rocket said. "Besides, there is something about you that intrigues me and I would like us to be friends."

"I think I would like that as well," Raven said before she stared at Rocket hard, which caused Rocket to slightly gaze away with a faint blush.

"C-Can I help you?" Rocket asked with a faint tremor in her voice.

Raven let a ghost of a smirk appear on her face. "You fluster easy," Raven said as she eased up on her stare then asked "Let's get started on the getting to know each other phase Rocket."

Raven motioned for her to follow her and before she floated up the stairs.

"W-What the hell just happened?" Rocket asked herself out loud.

Gotham City – Wayne Manor
Red X

"I won the race," Robin said as his forehead scrapped against Red X's mask, his domino masked narrowed angrily.

"I won the race," Red X said as own helmet's eyes narrowed in anger.

"It was a draw," Black Cat said as she smacked Red X in the forearm with a grin. "Literally at the same time."

"She's got a point," X-23 said to the Teen Titan leader. "Same time."

The two growled at one another before breaking away to cross their arms. "I still say I won," Red X muttered to Black Cat, who giggled and kissed his mask.

"So…Why did you come here?" Robin asked Red X curiously.

Red X frowned beneath his helmet.

He and the Big Bat had a love/hate relationship. Red X blamed Batman for his hand in Joker beating him to near but he also respected Batman for not only raising him as the second Robin but as another son.

He wish he could pinpoint where his feelings lied with the older hero.

"Consider me curious about Batman," Red X merely replied.

"Curious?" Robin asked. "How about explaining a little bit more."

"You want to know my history with him? Asked him yourself," Red X replied softly.

Robin opened his mouth to argue but instead, he closed it and said "Very well. Let's go inside."

The four walked up the steps and Red X knocked on the door. A few moments passed Alfred came to the door and said "Ah, Master Grayson…You're okay."

"Yeah…You look hurt Alfred. Are you okay?" Robin asked with concerned.

"Those ruffians attacked the mansion before they flew off with the jet earlier but thanks to the Miss Moonstar, I have become better," Alfred said before he looked to Red X with a knowing smile, which made Red X slightly nervous.

"Why don't you four come inside?" Alfred suggested as he moved aside. The four nodded and entered the mansion. "We have another guest here as well," Alfred said.

"Really? Who?" Robin asked.

"Good evening Richard," A female voice said. The four looked up to see Batwoman walking down the stairs.

Red X swallowed as nervousness filled his being. If there was one person he didn't want to see, it has Katherine Kane. On the verge of death, in the warehouse that the deranged clown had trapped him in, He was saved by Batwoman and taken to the city of Highport.

She and her partner Renee nursed him back to health and before he left for Jump City to take the Red X suit from Robin and begin his life of thievery, he thought of Renee and Kate as his parents after being left behind by Batman and would never hesitate to let them know that.

While he was happy to see her, he knew she wouldn't have any regards at blowing his identity.

"Kate," Robin said with a respectful nod.

"Ah, the famous X-23. Logan told me all about you when we met a few months ago," Batwoman said.

"You met him?" X-23 asked with surprise.

"He and Ororo were in Highport for a while. They were looking for something but left suddenly," Batwoman replied. "If you see them again, please give them my regards."

"If you see them again, give them mine," X-23 said cheekily.

Batwoman laughed and said "Will do." It was then that she noticed Red X and with a warm smile, she said "Well hello you."

"Hi mom…" Red X replied tenderly as he bowed his head, much to the shock of his three friends. The heroine walked up to Red X and removed his helmet to reveal his face, his identity thankfully secured by the red Domino mask on his face, and knelt down to give him a hug.

"Renee and I missed you so much," She said happily.

Red X returned the hug and said "I missed you guys too…"

The two separated before Red X looked to Black Cat and said "This is my girlfriend…Black Cat."

"Your girlfriend huh?" Batwoman said as she stood up and looked at Black Cat. "I heard all about her from Selina. You're her apprentice."

"And proud of it," Black Cat said with a grin.

"As long as you're not performing any crime, I'll let you slide," Batwoman said with a grin on her face as she shook hands with Black Cat. "It's nice to meet you. Renee will be happy to meet you too although I think she'll be a little more rough on you considering she's a former cop."

Black Cat looked to Red X and said "Jase…Honey…You didn't tell me that Batwoman and Renee were your parents."

"Jase?" Robin repeated curiously.

"What are you doing here anyways?" Red X quickly asked, not wanting Robin to dwell on it any further.

"Well, I was sent her by Selina," Batwoman said.

"Selina?! Is she okay?!" Black Cat asked with concern.

"She was in a coma for a few months. Her battered and drugged up body washed ashore in Highport. Thankfully Renee patrolling the city so she was able to find her. She just woke up today," Batwoman explained. "The minute she did, she told me what happened so I came here."

"Drugged…" Black Cat said with a worried frown.

"Yes. The drugs in her system matches the ones in Bruce, Barbara and Cassandra's bloodstreams," Batwoman explained. "Thanks to Selina, I was able to create an antidote to the drug. It should flush out of their bodies in forty-eight hours."

"Thank goodness," Robin said with relief in his voice.

"So until then, I'll be protecting this city in his place," Batwoman said.

"What about Highport?" Red X questioned.

"Renee and Tim will watch over it," Batwoman replied.

"Tim…You mean Tim Drake?" Robin asked with a happy tone.

"Yes," Batwoman said. "He came by Highport for some further training since Bruce was training Cassandra. Figured I'd take him under my wing."

"He better be doing well," Red X told her as he narrowed his eyes.

"He is but no one can replace you," Batwoman told him with a sincere smile as she ruffled his hair further. "Now, I see the bat-signal in the sky so I must be off. You four take care," Batwoman told them before she ran off past them.

One she cleared the house, Robin, Black Cat and X-23 turned to Red X, who merely looked at them back. "What? There was a time the playing hero interested me."

"Who knew you were such a momma's boy," Robin teased.

"Wanna say that to my face?" Red X replied.

"Jason…Richard…Stand down," A new voice said, which caused both teens to stand at attention. Black Cat and X-23 turned to see Bruce Wayne, still dressed in his Batman attire, minus the cowl, at the top of the stairs.

"Y-You're awake?!" Red X exclaimed in alarm.

"Wait…Jason?!" Robin exclaimed as he looked to Red X in shock.

"Those drugs worked faster than realized. Especially when placed in my antidote machine," Bruce explained with a relaxed tone but there was a hint of sweat on his face.

"Now tell me what you all know about the Infinity Stones."

Rain: Yep, so Batman once again powered through and now the world's greatest detective is back! I decided to somewhat change Jason's past since this isn't the original DC Jason. Still taken by the Joker. Beaten to near death until Batwoman saved him (Joker still got away) and he became a son to her and Renee.

Also decided to have Raven and Rocket talk it out along with maybe something more? I'm taking it pretty easy on this story for a while due to the back to back battles but a new arc is being planned So until the next chapter!
