The Book of Dragons

Hermione observed Evans who was talking with professor Sinistra. She thought Evans ate like a bird. On the contrary, Sinistra had a good appetite.

'Did she eat like that before the battle of Hogwarts?' She asked Ginny who ate like a horse especially after Quidditch training.

Ginny finished mashed potatoes and chicken wings quickly,

'I don't remember well, but her boobs were not so big.' She poured pumpkin juice into goblets and passed one to Hermione.

'Oh... you are right.' She stared at Sinistra's swelling of the bosom and blushed remembering the feel of Ron's hand on hers.

Ginny stood up and grasped a piece of treacle tart with a pair of tongs and placed it in a small carton box.

'Will you come with me? They are taking a nap in the teacher's guest room before night patrol.'

'No. I have to check a thesis in the library.'

Harry was woken by the knocking sound. Ron was snoring next to him. He got out of the bed and asked before opening the door,

'Who's there?'

'Harry, I brought you sweets.'

He glanced back to make sure Ron was sleeping, and he let Ginny in. She walked on tiptoe and landed on his bed. She beckoned him closer.

'I brought your favorite.'Whispering, she opened a carton box.

'Wow... thanks.' He picked up a slice of treacle tart. He enjoyed the sweet crush against the teeth.

'Thank you again for helping me in the pitch.' She was undressing him with her eyes.

Her lips met his and he kissed her back. She smelled flowery scent. Watching her brother on the other bed, she stood up.

'I have to go. I just stopped by to say thank you.'

'When is the first game?'

'Against Slytherins on the second Sunday of the next month.' She waved her hand from the entrance.

When he shut the door, he jumped to hear Ron's voice.

'You behaved like a gentleman. I allow you to be my sister's boyfriend.' He was chuckling.

Harry tried to punch his stomack lightly, but Ron dodged out of it.

'We have three hours. Sleeping time.' Ron pulled the blanket.

'What are you reading?' Luna asked from behind.

'Luna! You surprised me. How was the extra lesson with professor Evans?'

'I can't tell what I saw. I enjoyed the sound of earthquake.'

Hermione was confused. 'You tell me what you experienced today?'

'Yes, I can tell the sound, but I can't tell you what I saw. It's a promise with professor Evans.'

'Alright, I got it. Have you heard any other than the sound of earthquake?'

'Dragon's words, I think I heard. It's a pity I couldn't understand them.'

'Do you mean professor Evans can communicate with dragons?'

'Yes, she can. I am searching for the book of their language in the library, but I can't find it yet. Do you have the book?'

Madam Pince was walking pass by them warning,

'The library will be closed in ten minutes. If you want to read more, please copy it, Miss Granger.'

'Yes, Madam Pince.' She pointed her wand at the thesis to cast the Copying Charm.

Yawning, they lit their wands in the hallway. Harry told Ron about fake Sinistra and the baby. Ron got agitated when he stopped him to send his patronus to Dedalus.

'Why not? She must be one of the intruders, Harry. Remember Malfoy who let the Death Eaters in the castle!' He got more irritated by his own words including the memory of Draco Malfoy.

'We will play cat and mouse with her until she actually breaks the law.'

'But how?'

'She seems to want to...have a relationship with me.'

'What? Are you mental, Harry? You are my sister's boyfriend.' He grabbed his shoulder.

'I won't. Just an undercover operation. I want to find the other witch who was with her.'

Ron kept staring at him, finally he let him go. 'Give me your Invisibility Cloak. I'll stop her when you are enchanted by her.'

They climbed up the Astronomy tower together. Ron whispered before Harry knocked the entrance door,

'I feel for real professor Sinistra who must have been confined in the trunk like Moody when we were the fourth year students.'

There was no reply. The door was locked. Harry chanted 'Alohomora.' When they entered the room, fake Sinistra was sleeping by the crib where her baby was sleeping peacefully. Next to her bed, the thick book was open on the desk. Harry scrutinized it. The ornamental letters with a human face, an eagle and a cow were lit under the candle light. He tried to read, but he couldn't figure out what they meant on the page. He kept observing them, then the words in the middle jumped into his eyes,

Déanfaidh mo ghrá do namhaid a mharú

'Déanfaidh mo ghrá do namhaid a mharú.' He repeated the words as his mother's last words resonated in his mind, when the long-lasting protection spell hit Tom Riddle.

'You remember the ancient chanting, Mr Potter.' Fake Sinistra sat up on the bed.

'What's this?'

'The book of dragons.'

Harry sat on the edge of the bed,

'What do you mean?'

'Come closer, then I'll tell you the ancient magic your mother mastered.' She removed his robes and began unbuttoning his shirt. He grasped her hand and asked,

'Who was with you at that night? I felt someone watching us.' He tried a leading question.

'Just us at that night.' Her dark expressive brows drew arcs. The other hand unfastened the garter, she whispered, 'Help me,' her hand clasped his hand and let it run over her waist and hips.

Ron's groan was heard from the Invisibility Cloak. Harry sweated being afraid that his best mate might be sensed, when the spell was shot.

'Petrificus Totalus!'

With a thud, fake Sinistra fell down frozen. Ron emerged from the Invisibility Cloak and handed the discarded robes to Harry. Ron breathed in and out slowly and said,

'Let's see if she is a real professor or not.'

His tact worked out in the end. Her skin and her hair turned darker. They exchanged glances. Grabbing his wand to send the Patronus message to Dedalus, Harry gave a glance at fake Sinistra once again and he was stunned. To his horror, there lay outstreached Bellatrix Lestrange who had the heavy lidded eyes.
