White Snake
'She disappeared here?' Ron asked Ginny in front of the statue of the mermaid.
She nodded and glanced at Harry who had just shut the entrance door after pasting a notice "Out of Order". His glasses got foggy by the heated pool.
Ron pulled his wand, tried the Unlocking Charm and failed again. Harry observed the surface of the statue and frowned at a white snake entangled in the mermaid's long hair. He missed the ability, the snake language. The stone snake must be the key to a hidden room. Ron noticed what Harry was staring at. He grinned wide and said,
'Trust me. It will work this time as well,' he made a hissing sound and recited the familiar incantation Harry used to take advantage from.
As he announced it, the statue began turning around and the stairs appeared.
Verina held her daughter in her arms and kissed the forehead. The baby's hair began changing to black from gold while she was sleeping.
'See? I knew she would have a metamorphic ability. According to my research, your relative named Nymphadora Tonks was the one.' Morgana looked impressed.
'Really? Can I meet her?'
'No. She was killed by your mother.'
'My mother killed her?' Verina lost her words. She was disgusted by the fact. Though she could guess what her mother did to the Wizarding World in Britain was not to be praised at all, she didn't feel ashamed herself by it since her mother abandoned parenting her and she didn't feel affection towards Bellatrix Lestrange at all.
'You despise her now, Verina?' Morgana's cool eyes stared at her.
'I hate her.' She uttered from her heart. 'You trained me to fight against the evil group?'
'Yes. You and I will reform this country. Your mother was brainwashed by Tom Riddle, the evil leader. We need to reinforce our army to make our kingdom a better place.'
'Our kingdom? We are queens, then?' Verina giggled, 'My baby will be a princess. And I want Harry Potter to be my husband.'
'I don't think it's a good idea. His godfather was killed by your mother.'
'I really hate my mother, how many...'her words were interrupted when Morgana stopped her.
'They found us. Come on, hurry.' They scurried down the dark corridor to the irrigation ditch.
A boat was waiting for them and it departed magically when they landed on it together.
A passageway was a steep slope to a waterway. Ginny shivered in the cold. Harry put off his Auror robes and wrapped it around her gently. Ron got near to the boarding point and tried casting the Revealing Humans Charm. He shouted,
'They used one of them. I feel it.'
Harry hurried to the port and scrutinized the boats alongside the quay. No shadow of humans there. They seemed to have gone already.
'Where does it lead to?' Ginny asked. 'I only know the boathouse. The scerery is different from the place.'
He grimaced at the memory of Snape who was killed by the great snake. 'It supposed to go to the Hogsmeade Station across the Black Lake as well.' Harry pulled his wand and sent his Patronus to ask Dedalus to set staffs at the station. 'I'll escort you to the dorm, Ginny. Thank you for sending us a Patronus message. It was marvelous, but ...yours looked rather...' Harry felt his heart beating faster at his realization.
She looked at him with the passionate eyes, 'Your guess is right. Mine has changed. Doe.' And she smiled beautifully.
Ron made a slight cough and said, 'Guard my sister and make sure that she is safe in the dorm, mate. I'll check the Black Lake just in case.'
Parting from Ron, Ginny chuckled, 'I didn't know my brother could imitate your Parselmouth.'
Harry grinned wide, 'I can't speak it at all now. He is incredible. He used to be forced to hear my Parseltongue in our school days.'
Two long shadows followed after them under the moonlight. Harry remembered how the silver corporeal doe appeared in front of him and spoke in Ginny's lovely voice. He liked her previous Patronus, horse and he loved her doe more. It was apparent how deeply she felt for him. He had an overwhelming urge to tell what he was thinking right now.
'Ginny,' he pulled her into his arms and said, 'I love you.'
She closed her eyes, 'I love you, too.'
Her lips tasted sweeter than treacle tart and her skin was soft and smooth against his calloused hands. Still with her eyes closed, she said,
'I remembered the Chamber where you saved me when Ron spoke Parselmouth.' She opened her eyes, 'I was very disappointed later to find the Sword was fake. Last year, we stole the Sword for you. I wanted to do something for you since you had saved me from Tom Riddle. I swore to myself that I would be the first person to steal and carry the Sword to you. Though I couldn't do anything for you during the war, I am happy to have sent my Patronus to help you.' And she pulled her wand and conjured the silver doe again. It was different from Snape's. It looked more vigorous. He cast the same spell and his silvery Stag chased after hers.
Hand in hand, they climbed up the tower to Gryffindor Common Room. Hermione was waiting for Ginny. A plate of sandwiches had been set on the table. Ginny thanked Harry for his robes and began eating a piece of sandwich.
Hermione spoke, 'I found something interesting in the library. But the most important book is missing. I need to find it.'
'You mean professor Evans's theory?' Ginny took a goblet of pumpkin juice.
'Yes. I have to look for the ancient dragon books.'
Harry remembered the book. His hand searched the bottom of the magical pocket and pulled it out. 'Is this the book you want?'
Hermione got excited to see what he was holding, 'The Book of Dragons! How did you find this?'
