Harry tried to remember his mother's spell, which was neither English, nor Latin. The language sounded so soft and the words were full of affection and he noticed it had been the first time for him that he recognized it as sadness to tell 'good-bye' forever. He barely managed not to shed tears though he must have been crying when he was left in the baby's bed after his mother was finished.

'Harry, are you listening?' Hermione was standing in front of him.

'Sorry, what were you talking about?'

She opened the book and she showed the beautiful flowers and the ornamental letters,

'I'd like to understand what are written in the book. The human's face looks like Christ or a saint, but I reckon something more important information is hidden among them.'

'Your guess is right. I remembered my mum's last words before Tom Riddle's curse hit her while reading one page in the book.'

'What? Can you read these words?'Hermione looked completely excited with her expectation. And she clouded her face, 'Oh, I'm sorry for your mum.'

He shook his head, 'No. Just flashback of my memory. I was a baby, you know?'

Ginny grasped his hand and said,

'Are you alright, Harry?'

Harry nodded and said, 'I have to go back to Ron who watches the shore where the boat might carry them.'

When he apparated to the spot where Ron and the other Aurors were investigating, Dedalus told them his suspicion,

'I might miss the chance to arrest them on my way here.'

'What? Did you see them, the witches?' Harry and Ron asked in unison.

'Yeah...might be. I'm not sure. I saw balloons in the sky.'

'Ballons?' Harry was confused.

'The muggles held a balloon festival in England. They used the chance. We lost them.' Dedalus showed a pamphlet to them.

It had a picture of multi-coloured balloons in the blue sky. He read the words, "Hot Balloon Feista in York".

'I couldn't erase their memory if I tried catching the culprits in the festival.' Dedalus sighed.

'Dedalus, don't give up. We had better investigate the spot after the festival.' Harry encouraged his elder colleague.

After McGonagall's lesson, Seamus was explaining about his country's folktale to Dean in the Gryffindor common room,

'Two immortals constantly prank "kill" each other. One day one of the immortals fails to rise from the transform often like cows, birds or swans. I think some of them were true, you know, we do animagi in the Wizarding World.'

Dean spoke, 'I've heard about the stories, the name of the king is Fionn or Machuil or something like that.'

'Fionn mac Cumhaill! And his wife was a deer. We have so many mythologies.' Seamus smiled.

'A deer?' Ginny frowned at Seamus. 'Does it mean Harry may be a descendant of Fionn mac Cumhail? His patronus is "Stag".

Seamus shrugged.

Ginny continued wondering about the Druidic mythology Seamus told before dinner.

And she had so many questions around transformation. She missed Professor Lupin. If he had been alive, he would have told her the depth of animagi.

She was waiting for Harry who had gone investigating the case. She hoped he would come back soon.

However, it was not him who entered the common room. Dean Thomas found her in the corner of the room, he approached her. She knew Dean still had a jealous feeling towards Harry even after he defeated Voldemort. She had avoided time alone with Dean. He sat down next to her. He spoke,

'I sometimes remember time when we used to be together. When we practiced performing Patronus charm in the class, I remembered our kiss.'

Ginny fidgeted on the sofa not to let her leg touch Dean's. 'I don't get what you mean.'

'Yes, you do. I can't forget how I felt when I kissed you after Harry and Cho had a good time alone in the Room of Requirement.'

'You didn't see what was conjured from my wand in McGonagall's lesson today.' Her voice got tensed when she felt his hand on the waist.

'I was distracted by your radiant expression when you did the magic. A silvery horse, perhaps?'

'No. It was a doe.'

His hand stopped groping. He repeated, 'A doe?'

'Yes. And Harry's ...'

Dean Thomas stood up abruptly and said, 'It's enough. I understood.' He left for the boy's dorm.

She felt pity for the ex-boy friend, but she couldn't stop smiling at the memory when Harry looked so happy to know her patronus changed to a doe. She liked her previous Patronus, the horse and loved her new one more.

'The horse is elegant and the deer is holy.' She said to herself.

'Yes, it is.' Hermione descended the stairs with the thick book. She was clad in fleece pajama pants and top. 'I searched for the magical words with help from Professor Flitwick. According to his knowledge, tracing the picture of deers in the book will lead us to find the ancient magical spells.'

'You found the clue! Did you try them?' Ginny urged her to sit next to her.

'Yes, but nothing happened. They are apparently old gaelic, but it didn't work.'

'Is the pronunciation correct? We'd better ask Seamus to help you.'

Hermione got silent for a while and said, 'I don't think the point is pronunciation this time. I feel like the magic itself. I know it's not rational at all.'

'You sound like Harry.'

'Do I?' Hermione looked stunned.

Ginny chuckled, 'You three have experienced so many troubles together. There is no doubt that your way of thinking goes in the same direction as Harry's.'

'You don't like it was me that went anywhere he went, do you?'

'No, I was rather worrying about my brother. It was miracle that he got through the adventure to the end.'

They laughed together.

A/N: The prompt,'Two immortals constantly prank "kill" each other. One day one of the immortals fails to rise …'was given by Paula from HPfanfic talk.

Galadriel gave me a hint around the ballons at HPfanfic talk as well.
