"Okie." Issy smiles up at him. she bounces on her tiptoes and kisses her bite mark. When she pulls away, Eric is biting his lip and she grins. "See you at lunch."
He murmurs it back as Issy begins to walk away and add a small sway to her hips, knowing that Eric is watching her go. When he growls, Issy laughs and begins to jog towards the garage.
When Issy finally runs into the common room, she shoots Clark an apologetic look.
"Wait!" Clark called out before Issy could sit down. She paused as Clark stood up and began walking. "Come with me." Issy followed him out of the garage and all the way through the compound. Issy frowned as Clark walked into training room A. Each training room was labelled with a letter – A being the biggest, L being for Leaders and the higherups, T being for transfers during initiation and DB for Dauntless borns during initiation. He stopped in the centre before looking around, there was no one anywhere. Turning to Issy, he smirked and checked his watch. "Fifty-three laps. Off you go." Casting a curious glance to Clark, she started running around the room. "Fifty-three laps in half an hour."
Issy swore under her breath and picked up her pace. She had been sent the training schedule on the night that she accepted the job and not one part included further physical training. She didn't understand what Clark was up to but she wasn't going to start complaining. That would be stupid. Clark observed her do her laps silently, an eyebrow raised unconvinced. By the time that Issy was finished, sweat was dripping from her top and she was pretty sure she was starting to stink… Gross.
Clark watched her. "Do you know why I made you do this Issy?"
Issy had realised why. "Because I was late?"
"Because you allowed someone to distract you from your duties… But yes, you were late."
"Fifty-three laps for the fifty-three minutes I missed."
"Exactly." Clark grinned. "Now you have forty minutes to go shower and change, because frankly, you stink." Issy laughed, shaking her head. "And don't let anyone distract you."

Once she was washed, changed and back in the common room. Clark sat down with her on the table with a stack of papers that Issy eyed, a tablet and a folder. Clark snorted when he caught her eyeing the stack.
"Okay. Just within these last few years, Erudite have updated our systems making some of the jobs around Dauntless a hell of a lot easier." He placed his hand on the stack. "This was for one patrol –" Issy winced. "This stack's height can be variable due the what the patrol is like. There is paperwork that needs to be filled in for the sector and route, front lines or back, missions, and the rifles we take. With each sector and route there are certain factors as a captain you need to know but we'll get into that later. Front lines, as you know are a lot more dangerous than the other routes but I suppose that's nothing compared to what we've dealt with recently. There's too much shit that needs filling out for missions to tell you now. The patrols behind the front lines use the standard rifles but the front lines use different specialist rifles for different reasons and it's a lot of paperwork just to use them." Clark grinned and pushed the stack away. "Thankfully, with the help of Erudite, we no longer have to do any of that. You'll still have to learn the basics just in case the systems collapse. Nowadays, we use this." Issy watched as Clark turned on the tablet and tapped an app. "This has everything we need for patrols. Only Captains have access to it and the only Leaders that can see the data on here are Harrison, Eric and Max."
Clark then leads Issy through the app. There's her profile already set up but the name and squad patch are empty. She had almost forgotten that she needed to create a new one… Patches are unique to each squad after all. Clark explained to her that she could look through the Book of Squadrons, which was quite literally a large ass book with every single squadron path and name up to date. Another tab from her profile held her squad members and all the contact information about them and what role the squadron has. Clark gave her little time to fiddle about with it before he pulled up a menu and pressed Reports.
"So in this section is basically all the shit you need to fill out after every patrol. Its that stack over there. Once you fill out information about the members on the patrol and the rifle type then you can tick a box so it'll appear automatically every time you start a new report. Though if you need to change anything, when you press New Report it'll come up with Template and Edit. You'll press Edit if there's anything different. You can also change your template if, for example, you move from the normal sectors to the front lines. You'll also be able to access old reports that you've completed just in case something starts recurring in the patrol." Clark takes a look at his watch and lets out a breath. "It's lunch now. I'll send you a link with the app and your login details so you can get it on your tablet. Change your password when you first login and look around it to get used to it. After lunch, we'll get you writing reports." When Issy gets up and goes to the door to leave, Clark calls her back. "And Issy? Don't be late."

After Issy had left the garage, she had immediately jogged towards her flat and picked up her tablet before running down to the cafeteria. When she entered the loud room with her tablet clutched to her chest, she immediately started looking for her Leader. Issy found him sat at their friends' table with Declan and Josh.
A small frown came onto her face as she walked over to them and as she sat down, she punched Eric hard on the shoulder.
"Shit!" Eric clapped a hand over his shoulder and glared at her. "What was that for?"
Declan and Josh watched them closely as Issy narrowed her eyes at him. "You know what's that was for. You made me late!" Eric's glare was pulled away by the empowering smug look that took its place. "No. Don't do that. I got punished because of you and had to do a lap for every minute that I missed. That's fifty-three laps! In half an hour."
"That's not that bad…" Josh trailed off when Issy sent him a glare.
"In training room A." Issy added and they all winced slightly. "Yeah bitches, that's what I thought."
Eric hovered over the bruises – his bruises – on her thigh and stroked along her leg, the smug look still in place. "Are you saying I'm a distraction?" Eric was positively delighted by the idea, that much was obvious. Instead of answering him, Issy stood up and walked to the other side of the table and sat next to Josh, out of Eric's reach. The Leader pouted. "Don't be like that." Eric purred and withheld the shiver. She hadn't heard that tone from him before and damn, it nearly destroyed her.
Issy placed her tablet on the table and started to download the link that Clark had sent her. While she waited, she tuned into the conversation about going out for a game of rooftop tag. Dec and Josh were going over the players when Eric spoke up.
"I don't think I've played that before… Can I come?"
"Only if you're good enough." Issy whispered suggestively.
Eric's darkening eyes caught hers and she held his gaze with a sly smirk. They forget that they were surround by people, that their brothers were on the table too. Whereas Eric tensed, his hands fisting and a muscle twitching in his jaw, Issy relaxed and moved forward to lean her chin on her hand and that just made him tense up even more. Issy grinned at him, winking once before turning back to her tablet. When Eric realised he had lost her attention to a tablet and he had more or less been dismissed, he growled. Issy didn't look at him but chose to focus on logging in and changing her password. As she continued to ignore Eric in favour of her tablet, she took food for Josh's plate.
Lunch was silent. Josh and Declan made little conversation glancing from Eric and to Issy serval times. They waited for Eric to explode or drag Issy from the room but she wasn't bothered. She had gotten punished and now it was his turn. Issy continued to fiddle with her tablet, going through all the tabs and menus. When lunch ended Issy got up and walked towards the exit. Before she could get far, Eric grabbed her wrist and spun her away to face him.
"Are you sure you want to play this game pup?" His voice was low and rough.
Issy took a take closer and their chests brushed together. "It's a game I intend to win."
She spun around and walked out before he could say anything else. This game that they've started will torture them both but Issy is ready to win.
Who's going to lose their control and snap first?
Let's find out.
So training has started and Eric's beginning to be a bad influence… What do you think of the game they've started? Who's gonna snap first?
