They searched Hermione. All prefects patrolled the castle. Boys and girls, professors searched for her. Harry muttered, no more death, Ron flinched at his words.
Ginny whispered, 'You should examine the book. There must be a clue. Tell Bill. He will help you. It is cursed. Remember Tom's diary.' Her face was pale under the candle light.
Ron sent his Patronus to the Headquarters. Soon more Aurors would arrive. Harry hurried to his room to fetch the book. It was opened on the desk, which gave him a strange feeling, the page was not the same page he had turned before. Then he noticed a string of brown hair. She had been there. His instinct told him to pull his wand from the pocket. 'Morgana, you talked with her. Where is she?'
No answer.
Morgana was satisfied with what Hermione Granger reported. According to the girl, the other herself seemed to have come back to the material world with her living related sacrifice. Dragons got back their power. The ancient magic was released. She was succeeded in persuading the girl to cooperate with her. Morgana's only wish was to destroy Merlin and his fake world built on toxic masculinity.
Potter's response was predicted after Granger had told their history. It was easy to let her trust in Morgana's plan. Eliminating human's toxic masculinity, the root of all evil things. It would be her to bring back peace in this world. Once dragons got back their power, humans should be controlled sooner or later. Dumbledore had gone. Snape was dead. No fear now. All she needed was to have Potter on her side. His magical power must be tremendous after his own self was freed from Riddle's curse. Riddle was the evil. Potter destroyed him. He could be useful to realize the ideal kingdom.
Then there he called her. As he was closing the book, she answered,
Who are you looking for?
'My best friend, Hermione. What have you done to her?'
She has a mission. She'll do the greatest thing for the world. You have to help her. She is suffering from trauma. She needs to overcome.
'You know where she is. Tell me the place.'
She will come back. You will soon find her. Check the coin she made.
'What? The D.A coin?' His hand hid into his pocket. The round metal was warm. He pulled it and read the surface. Spinnerd's End.
What does she say? She should be in Wales. She meets the other myself.
'Yes, she seems to be in there.' Harry closed the book, his mind was eased. She didn't lose herself.
The place was dark with those broken streetlamps. Their windows were dull and the tall chimney stood like a ghost over a dirty river. But Harry was in a positive mood. When he touched the door, it opened easily. The bushy haired friend turned around and stared at him. Her eyes were clear near the candle light.
'Hermione, we were worried. I thought your mind was possessed by her, of the book.'
'I needed to pretend loyal to her. I moved them there.' She pointed at the portraits of Dumbledore and Snape next to the bookshelf. The wooden frames looked smaller.
'I shrunk them. The room is, you know...' Her words were followed by Snape himself,
'Cramped. A mousehole compared with Black mansion in Islington.' His drawled voice sounded even softer to Harry's ears as he trusted in his mentor.
'This house is full of affection. Severus, I remember you've done one of the bravest things here.'
'The Unbreakable Vow. It was a natural duty as a Head of Slytherin House for,' Snape stared at Harry, 'Draco. Poor boy. He is miserable. I don't think Potter has courage, the prototypical example of Gryffindor. I have insisted he belongs to Slytherin House.'
Dumbledore chuckled, 'Well, he needs to be as an Auror, sometimes. So Hermione, your turn. Tell him everything now.'
Hermione nodded, 'Yes, Professor. Harry, you are the most powerful wizard.'
'Me? No way. It was a trick Morgana enchanted. Because of her and the dragons or the ancient magic, whatever they are, it's not me.' Harry shrugged. The conversations with the baby dragon, Evan reminded him of all tricky things.
Hermione urged Harry to sit down on the frayed chintz sofa. She sat down next to him so as to talk to two great wizards in the frames.
'Well, what to tell you first...you know Morgana came back after centuries beyond the Veil with her related descendant's help. It was just an accident, but a fatal one for the Wizarding World. One coincidence by a chance made it possible. Druids may call the trick as changeling. Her ambition is ruling the two worlds, the Muggle and the Wizarding world.'
'But, Hermione, her corporeal body is her descendant's. Morgana is a ghost!'
'Not a ghost. Her soul is in the body. We must ...finish her before mass producing more victims.'
'You mean we must kill her.'
'Yes, or no. If we can find a way to remove her soul from the body,' Hermione stared at Harry, 'her descendant can survive by sending Morgana back to the other world.'
Harry tried to remember his dream. Sirius was chasing after her. 'I saw a dream. It was a Vision. Sirius was chasing after Morgana. I've had the same dream more than once. Is there a way to call him back to this world?' Harry looked up at Dumbledore.
Dumbledore's face got serious. 'Tell me in detail.'
'In my dream, Sirius was always chasing after Morgana...no he is chasing after her daughter, the strawberry blonde woman. Sirius asked her or her soul and she answered that she was Morgana's child centuries ago. I don't know. He probably is dead and his soul might be chasing after her...'
'His soul is still hovering between the twilight zone.'
'So can he come back to this world? Do you know anyone who could come back to this world, professor?'
'I know two people. Sir Lancelot and you, Harry.'
Snape sneered, 'Please don't tell me Black was Sir Lancelot, Albus.'
'Why not? The stream of souls comes and goes. It could happen, no one can predict when and who will.'
