Alec's POV
After Seraphina stalks away furiously, she leaves a small part of the room with flames.
"Extinguish it!" Caius quickly orders and the low rank guards quickly extinguish the flames.
I quickly stand up from the floor.
I look at the wall behind me and see cracks.
Seraphina grew stronger, I'd be proud if it hadn't been me she threw to the wall.
My sister soon joined my side as she looked me over, looking for injuries.
"I'm fine, sister." I tell her.
She nods.
"She is out of control!" Caius yells.
"Be calm, brother." Aro says.
"I can't! Look what she did to our floor!" He says and motions to the burnt floor.
"It is but floor, it can be fixed." Aro says, trying to calm Caius down.
"She needs to be punished! This can't happen again! This is the second time she has walked off!" Caius exclaims, furiously.
"That may be, but it is the first time she let out her flames." Aro reasons.
"You are too soft on her! She needs to be punished!" Caius yells again.
"I believe a warning would suffice." Aro says, calmly.
Before Caius can yell again, I say, "I apologize on behalf of my mate."
Aro gives me an assuring smile, "It is not your fault, none of us could have predicted this."
"I disagree!" Caius scowls. "As her mate you need to teach her the rules and make her obey!"
I clench my jaw, I'm about to nod when Caius adds.
"If you don't make her obey, I will!"
My eyes flash to him as a feeling of anger and possessiveness almost overtakes me but before I do something I might regret my sister grabs my hand which had formed into fist.
"Do not worry Masters, we won't let you down." Jane quickly answers on my behalf.
"That's not enou-!" Caius was saying but was interrupted by Marcus's low voice.
"Do not anger the boy..." Was all he muttered.
Caius looked at Marcus before turning his gaze back at me and after looking at my tense features he calms down and stops yelling.
"Now, now, let's not grow agitated." Aro says and then looks at me.
"Why don't you look for our dear Fire Angel? She seemed quite angry, we don't want her running around setting the castle on fire." Aro says with a worried smile.
I grow alarmed at that, "I'm sure she wouldn't do that. But as you wish, I'll look for her."
With that said, I exit the room in a hurry.
Even though I came to my mate's defense, I can't actually guarantee she hasn't burned another part of the castle specially with her fiery temper.
The first place I look for is her room.
I knock and no answer.
Knowing her, she would ignore me after what happened but I can't smell her.
Usually even with a door separating us, I'm able to smell her.
Dropping social rules, I open the door to her room.
I scan the room and it is empty.
I grow scared as I remember Aro's words.
"That's right, my boy. Our dear Fire Angel has a tendency to not stay in a coven for too long as she prefers to travel solo."
"Did she leave me?" I ask myself as anxiety starts creeping in.
I quickly open the closet and see all of her clothes there, even her luggage bags.
I calm down and scan the room for any hint of where she might have gone but I find none.
I try to think of a friend she might have gone to talk to, to vent, given the situation.
But as far as I know Jane is her only friend and she's also looking for her.
"Did you find her?" I hear a familiar voice say.
I look at my sister who stands outside of the room.
"No." I reply.
"She's not in the library either." My sister informs me.
An idea pops in my mind.
"Maybe she went to the training room." I say.
My sister nods and we run towards the training room.
She might be venting her anger in the training room.
It seems like something she would do.
Once we reach the training room it's empty.
I scowl but don't give up, I scan the room and see if there's any burnt equipment or something to show she was here but I find none.
"Damn it!" I curse.
"Do you know any other place, brother?" Jane asks me.
I scowl, besides the library, the training room, and her room the only other place she visits is the garden.
I tell her and we quickly run to the garden and after a single glance I can tell she isn't here.
"Can you sense her?" Jane asks.
"No." I reply with anger.
I loot at the beautiful garden that only brings me happy memories of spending time with Seraphina as we chatted and laughed.
As my gaze falls to a rose bush, I remember a conversation we had a week prior.
"What's your favorite flower?" I asked Seraphina.
She smirked at me and dodged the question, "Why don't you guess my favorite flower?"
I smirk back, she always likes to play.
I look at a beautiful rose bush and answer, "Is it red roses?"
She laughs and it's like melody to my ears.
"Do I seem that typical to you? Red roses are too overrated." She answers with a shake of her head.
"Are they?" I say and pluck a rose out.
"They remind me of you, they are beautiful, everyone loves them, they represent love and affection but if you aren't careful..."
I show her the many thorns, "You can get cut."
I watch as a pretty smile forms in her angelic features.
"Not to mention it's red." She adds.
"Another one of its great features." I smirk and hand her the rose.
She accepts it and says, "I may have gained a new appreciation for roses."
I smile back and we continue touring the garden.
Now all I can do is gaze longingly to the roses.
She never told me what her favorite flower was.
Jane talks, waking me from my daydream, "Where could she have headed?"
"I'm not sure, we have gone every place she frequents and she hasn't appeared. She might have left the castle again." I say remembering her last outburst.
My sister nods and we head to the entrance.
I see the secretary and think of asking her before venturing out.
"Hello Mr. Alec." She greets me.
I ignore her greetings and get to the point.
"Has my Mate exited the building?"
She tenses at the mention of my mate before responding, "N-no, she hasn't left."
I narrow my eyes, "You aren't lying to me, are you? Did my Mate ask you to cover for her?"
She quickly shakes her head and says, "No, not at all!"
I look at her, suspicion still lingering.
Before I can ask her again, she screams loudly and crouches to the floor in pain.
"Answer my brother truthfully, human." Jane threatens the secretary.
"I swear! She didn't pass through here!" the secretary cries.
I can hear the truth in her voice and look at my sister which makes her stop using her gift.
Martina pants heavily as she is still recuperating from the excruciating pain she received.
"If we find out you have lied, you will be severely punished." I threatened her and walk away, my sister still besides me.
"Where else could she have gone?" I ask her.
"I do not know, and there's only one vampire who can track her." Jane answers.
"Forget it!" I growl.
"Brother, I know you don't like him but it's the only way." Jane reasons.
I relent, feeling anxious of not finding her and running out of options.
"Let's head to his room."
We both go to Demetri's room and I knock on his door.
I hope he isn't in the room with a deluded woman.
Demetri has a reputation for being a womanizer, but I thought he would respect a mated woman.
But after seeing him talk and observe Seraphina when he thinks I'm not looking makes me realize I gave him too much credit.
I knock again when he doesn't respond.
I growl, "Why isn't he answering?"
"You looking for Demetri?" I hear a familiar voice ask.
I turn and see Felix, who just so happens to have his door next to Demetri's and is one of Demetri's closest friends.
"Yes, have you seen him?" I ask him.
"Aro gave him a mission so he should be on his way to track someone." Felix informs me.
"Curses!" I yell in frustration and start walking away.
"We should have kept our previous tracker in case of emergencies." Jane grumbles and walks besides me.
I wish that as well, but unfortunately Demetri is our only tracker.
"What should we do, brother?" Jane asks me.
"If she's not in the castle, she must have found a secret door and left through there. We must look in all Volterra." I tell Jane.
She nods, but then her expression turns sours.
"What if she left Volterra?" Jane asks me.
My face hardens and I answer.
"Then we'll search the entire world."

Bonus:
Chelsea's POV
After both the witch twins run off to look for the other witch, Aro's smile leaves his face and a more stern look replaces it.
"I had a feeling this girl would only give us problems!" Caius yells again.
"She wasn't supposed to, brother." Aro says, coldly. "But it seems someone isn't doing her job correctly."
His gaze falls to me and I feel a shiver go through my skin and feel my entire body tense.
"Chelsea." Aro says my name with a cold smile.
"Yes, master." I answer.
"You are using your gift over Seraphina, correct?" Aro asks me.
I quickly nod and say, "Yes, of course! She is completely loyal to the Volturi. This whole storming away act is just part of her personality and she does it to spite Alec. I promise you, she has strong ties to the Volturi."
Aro nods and narrows his eyes, "That better be true, Chelsea. For your own good."
I feel fear after hearing his words but try not to let it show on my face as I smile and nod.
"You are all dismissed!" Aro yells and the few guards, me included leave the throne room.
It isn't until I'm out of the room that my smile crumbles.
Aro has never talked to me like that in all the time I've worked for him.
I have always been his favorite.
As much as Jane wishes she was, Aro has always held me in a higher regard than her.
It was a surprise to see him threaten me like that.
It's all her fault!
I scowl.
That damn, fire witch who has everyone enchanted with her power and beauty.
I even remember hearing my mate, Afton say she was astounding.
Astounding? Just because she can create some fire!
I can't stand her, she is so smug all the time, she thinks she's the best and everything will go her way.
I couldn't help but smile whenever her own mate didn't trust on her abilities and basically humiliated her in front of the leaders.
That took the smirk off her face.
But of course I'm at fault now!
And it doesn't help she also seems to have Aro bewitched as he is nicer to her than he is with me.
Not to mention he just threatened me because of her.
Ugh! And that's not even the worst part.
She is immune to my powers…
