You and your love Jack were hanging out around the bunker. Your brothers were off on a hunt and you decided to stay back with Jack. You were in the kitchen writing down some stuff you wanted to do when Jack walked in. "What are you doing?" he asked as he kissed your cheek.
"Just writing down a list of things I wanna do today since the boys are out," you said, "wanna join me?". He smiled that sweet, baby boy smile.
"Sure," he said, "what are we doing first?".
"Well I wanna make an apple pie," you answered, "but I wanna pick the apples. There is an Orchid not far from here. We can walk there,".
"Sounds fun," he said. Soon you two were walking down the road. Tall trees with falling leaves of shades of brown, yellow, and red were all around.
"Fall is such a pretty time," you said looking around, "so many pretty colors,". Jack just listened to you. He could tell this was your favorite time of year. You soon reached a small orchid. There was a sign saying people could only take up to ten apples each.
"So we can gather twenty apples?" he asked and you nodded.
"Just make sure to only pick the ripest ones," you instructed, "no mushy ones and they gotta be red,". You each grabbed a little hand made basket that sat on a table near the sign and got to work. Within a few minutes, you and the adorable nephilim had collected twenty of the best apples the trees offered. On the walk back to the bunker Jack gently wrapped your hand in his. You smiled as he kissed your cheek. You got back to the bunker and Jack helped you make the pie and stick in the oven.
"What should we do now?" he asked.
"Remember the pumpkins I took the seeds out of and spray painted black yesterday?" you asked and he nodded. "Thought we could carve scary faces into them and place them on the steps,".
"Sounds fun," he said. You two spent the next hour carving your pumpkins. When they were done you placed a candle in each one, lit them, and placed them on the side of the steps leading to the bunker door. After that, your pie was done. You took it out of the oven and placed a rack to cool.
"Now, while this cools wanna do something I thought was fun when I was a kid?" you asked as he nodded. "Awesome, we need a rake," you stated as you two got on your jackets and headed back outside. Jack watched as you raked up a huge pile of leaves.
"So you think raking is fun?" he asked giving you a cute, little confused look.
"No not really," you said laying the rake on the ground, "this is the fun part," you said before leaping right into the pile.
"I don't understand," he said again displaying confusion on his face.
"Help me up Jack," you smiled and held out your hand. When he took it you pulled him forward into the leaves. Soon you two were both smiles and laughs as you laid in the leaves and threw some up in the air.
"This was fun," he said. You nodded in agreement before your stomach rumbled.
"Well according to my tummy it's time to go in and enjoy the pie!" you said as you both got up and shook the leaves off you before heading back inside. You walked into the kitchen and grabbed a knife as Jack grabbed two plates.
"I was thinking we could watch a movie while we eat," he suggested, "maybe one of your favorites,".
"and I know the perfect one!" you said grabbing a carrying tray. You placed the pie, the two plates, and knife on the tray, "we can watch it on my laptop in my room. Grab two cups and the bottle of sparkling apple juice from the fridge and meet me there," you hurried off to your room. Just as you got the movie ready on your laptop Jack walked in with two glasses and the bottle of apple juice.
"What are we watching?"Jack asked as he sat beside you on the bed.
"Nightmare Before Christmas," you said with a big smile, "it covers both my favorite holidays,". You two watched the movie as you enjoyed the pie. when it was done you shut off your laptop.
"That was a good movie," Jack said with a smile. You nodded.
"Welp, we finished the list," you said.
"Actually there's one more thing I wanna do," he said as he got up and walked over to your side of the bed. He took your hand and gave the back of it a soft kiss.
"I love you Y/N," he said as he reached into his pocket, 'and however long we do have I want you to be happy," the young nephilim got down on one knee and held up a ring. Your eyes widened as you teared up. "Will you marry me Y/N?". You leaped up and embraced him in a huge hug which ended up knocking you both over onto the floor. You peppered little kisses all over his face. "Is this a yes?" he asked as he chuckled.
"a million yesses," you said. Who knew a day of fall chores would end like this?
