You were super excited. You spent some time explaining Halloween to Jack and he seemed to really wanna try carving pumpkins which was one of your favorite things to do during the spooky holiday. So after bugging your big brother Dean for about thirty minutes he agreed to take you and Jack to a pumpkin patch. After searching for a while you and Jack had picked the two biggest pumpkins there and paid for them. Once back at the bunker you got everything ready. You laid newspapers over the table and got out the pumpkin carving kit and two knives big enough to do the cutting. "What do we do first?" he asked.
"We gotta gut them," you said and he looked a bit confused.
"Pumpkins have guts?" he asked. You couldn't help but giggle.
"No they have seeds and slimy stuff inside we gotta take out," you explained.
"Oh ok how?" he asked looking over his pumpkin.
"I'll show you," you said as you grabbed your knife and started to cut around the of the top of yours. Jack watched carefully and did the same to his.
"Should we get something to scoop them out?" he asked.
"Nope," you said, "thats why we have hands!" you two started digging into the pumpkins. At first, Jack wasn't sure about it but soon starting having more fun when you started throwing hand fulls at each other. After all the seeds were cleared out you two got down to carving the faces into them. Jack was almost done with the crooked smile on his pumpkin when he heard you hiss loudly and you rushed over to the sink.
"Y/N what happened?" he asked heading over to you. Thats when he noticed your hand under running water and the blood swirling around in the sink.
"I accidentally cut myself," you said, "kinda deep too,".
"Let me see," he said gently taking your cut hand. The cut was a little deep and blood was flowing out. Jack placed his hand over the cut. You felt a warm, tingly feeling as his hand glew. You watched as the cut faded away and the pain vanished. You smiled.
"Thank you, Jack," you said giving him a hug and a soft kiss on the cheek, "my hero,". Jack smiled as he hugged back.
"Anything for you Y/N," he said. You two finished up your pumpkins and then spent the rest of the day raiding Dean's secret candy stash.
