This was requested by alexblack_phoenix and casifersangel. The both sent the exact same request Which has never happened my entire time of writing imagines :D
You were getting ready. It was Christmas time and hunter or not there was one thing you did every year. You tracked down any light shows or displays you could find. One of the most beautiful light shows was in the botanical garden in town. You made sure you were dressed warmly as it was a cold night and headed for the bunker door. "Off on your own again Y/N?" you heard Lucifer asked. The archangel had been staying at the bunker willingly. Other than the usual messing with the boys he wasn't so bad. In fact, he never really bothered you at all.
"Would you like to come?" you asked, "I mean it's just Christmas lights but I wouldn't mind,". The angel pondered to himself. He had been for the lack of a better word stuck in the bunker for weeks. Plus though he'd never fully admit it he had become fond of you. You didn't treat him as the others did.
"I guess I could tag along," he answered. You smiled which gave the fallen angel a weird feeling as you two headed out. when you got to the garden you walked through a set of archways decked in lights of multicolors. Lucifer paid close attention to you as you admired the lights. You seemed entranced by them. You would stop by each little decorated building and bush. You even stopped to admire a small pond area that had railing decked in red and green lights around it. Lucifer had to admit. The way you smiled and the way your eyes seem to sparkle along with the lights. You were beautiful.
When you made it to the center of the light show you heard a bunch of people complaining. "What's going on?" you asked a woman standing nearby.
"The lights on the tree aren't working," she said. Lucifer noticed your mood shifted. You seemed sad. He looked around and made sure no one was looking as he smiled and snapped his fingers. The tree lit up bright and everyone cheered. Lucifer smiled more seeing the sparkle back in your eyes as your face lit up again.
"I think these lights are the prettiest lights I've seen," you stated as you two started to leave. Thats when the clever angel got an idea.
"I actually know where there are lights prettier than any of these," he stated. You raised your eyebrow at him.
"where?" you asked. Lucifer grinned and walked over to you. He gently wrapped his arms securely around you. You weren't scared. In fact, you felt safer than you ever had.
"Close your eyes," he softly ordered and you complied. You heard a ruffling sound and then the ground shifted for a second then stopped. You felt Lucifer let go of you and turn you around. "You can open them now," he said in such a gentle tone you almost didn't hear him. You opened your eyes and they widened at what you saw. Shades of glimmering blue, green, and purple danced in the sky. Pictures did not do these beautiful lights justice. Not even videos did.
"'There are no words to explain how beautiful they actually are," you said. Lucifer smiled as he gently held onto you as he thought to himself.
