Last time, Team RWBY entered into the Kanto City Pokemon Contest. Weiss got a perfect score with her Stuckit while Ruby managed to get a few high scores with her Cuppa. Yang is up next with her Pokemon, Tiki.

"Alright everyone!" Vivian says to the audience, "Give it up for our next Pokemon performer, and I know all you boys love her, Yang Xiao Long!"

All the boys cheer wildly as Yang comes out with her Pokemon in a capsule and a fire seal with many of her fans holding a 'WE LOVE YOU YANG!' sign in the right side of the audience. Yet there are some dark and angry auras coming from behind them.

Yang pulls out her Pokeball, "Okay, Tiki, bulk up!"

She tosses her Pokeball as flames appear everywhere as Tiki uses bulk up to not only gain muscles, but also absorbs the flames that gives him a red aura and produce flames from the grass of his masks that extend up to three feet.

"Whoa! Talk about an entrance! Yang's Tikiki absorbed the flames from the seal and have its body glow red while producing flames!"

"Now unleash it all!"

Tiki aims straight up into the air and fires a jet of flames from his mouth as his body becomes normal.

"Now those are some impressive pyrotechnics! They're on fire today!"

"Now use magical leaf!"

Tiki does a hula spin that causes glowing green leaves that come out and spin in the air.

"Now use grass whistle!"

As the magical leaves spin around, Tiki grabs one and use it to use grass whistle. A lovely melody is played as the magical leaves keep on spinning while hula dancing in the middle of it all. The audience, and the judges, love the harmonious sound Tiki is making while in awe of Tiki's dancing.

"Now we're treated to a wonderful song as Yang's Tikiki dances in a middle of a leaf tornado like a forest spirit."

"Now use bulk up and absorb it all!"

Tiki uses bulk-up as all the glowing leaves hit him yet causes his body to glow while bulking up his muscles. His body glows green as the grass of its masks started to grow and stick upwards with a bright green aura around him with some lime colored electricity. In other words, Tiki looks like a green Super Saiyan 2 yet more monkey than man with a mask. Then does a superhero pose before returning to normal. The crowd cheers for Yang's Tiki for giving off a stunning performance.

"Now that's amazing!" Vivian is impressed and ecstatic, "It started out as a glow and now we ended with a more upgraded version that shines brightly and demonstrates its power! Let's see what our judges think."

Nurse Joy: 9.7

Mr. Contesta: 9.8

Mr. Sukizo: 9.7

"Look at those scores!"

The crowd cheers for Yang's scores.

Mr. Contesta says, "It was a brilliant display of power, technique and we were given two unique styles but one of them became greater at the end."

As for Mr. Sukizo, "Remarkable." I give up.

Then Nurse Joy speaks, "Tikiki is in incredible health if it was able to do that kind of performance. It even gave us a beautiful melody before showing off its power."

Then it is Blake's turn to be on stage with her chosen Pokemon.

"Next we have the graceful and beautiful, Blake Belladonna!"

The crowd cheers as Blake makes her entrance with many in total awe. As she appears in her kimono while holding her chosen Pokeball in the capsule while also having a heart seal on it.

Blake throws her Pokeball, "Go, Vulpix!"

Vulpix comes out of his Pokeball while being surrounded by hearts while winking at the audience while looking adorable. All the ladies fown for Vulpix's adorable entrance.

"Now that was a cute and adorable entrance! And she's using a Vulpix that knows how to show off its adorableness!"

Back in the dressing room, Weiss and Ruby are making pouty faces while seeing Blake and her Vulpix.

Yang goes, "Guess Blake is gonna use the Vulpix you girls failed to catch back in the jungle, eh?"

Both of them say in unison, "Shut up, Yang."

Ruby and Weiss are jealous that Blake caught the cute and adorable Vulpix when they were in the Salsa Jungle. So they are a bit salty on that.

Blake orders, "Vulpix, use incinerate!"

Vulpix start having a fireball in his open mouth.

"Now eat it!"

Vulpix eats the fireball which causes a unique change. Vulpix's tails uncurled as they form into flames along with the hair on his head and the darker areas of the paws. Even has the insides jetting fire from the inside of his ears.

"Whoa!" Vivian is surprised, "Looks like Blake is taking a page from Franklin's book yet has a lot more heat to it! Literally! Yet taken to a new level!"

Everyone is in total awe by Vulpix's flames that extend from his tail, hair, paws and ears.

"Now use quick-attack!"

Vulpix zooms by while leaving red trails behind.

"Now use confuse ray!"

Vulpix is surrounded by golden orbs that are left behind that turn into reddish-golden orbs that follow Vulpix wherever he leaves his red trail.

"I don't know what is going on, but there seems to be some sort of build-up to something extraordinary!"

Everyone is entranced by what Vulpix is doing and what exactly does Blake have in mind.

"Now use quick attack up in the air!"

Vulpix jumps up in the air with all the confuse ray orbs following him up in the air as they are set on fire. The fire Vulpix had on his body fades away as he does a backwards flip and rolls in the air before landing on all four paws in the ground.

"Now use incinerate!"

Vulpix fires the incinerate shot right at the gathering of flaming orbs. What happens next is that rather than an explosion, as in a regular explosion, it explodes into a beautiful red and golden rose before Vulpix jumps right through the center after ten seconds of the audience admiration for the rose. Vulpix spins through the center and comes out with his coat being golden and the darker areas are on fire. Vulpix's eyes have turned red after that process as he shakes off all the gold glitter that comes out of the flaming areas before landing. Now Vulpix looks like an entirely different Vulpix from another region that came from the depths of the volcano.

"I...I'm at a lost for words." Vivian says, "I know I'm supposed to say something, but for this, I'm speechless. Vulpix did some complex maneuvering and became a golden and flaming Vulpix."

Everyone in the audience are just as speechless as Vivian. But some stand up and give an applause. After a few seconds, the entire audience give Blake and Vulpix an applause after seeing something magnificent, new and something completely out of left field out of all the Pokemon Contests they have seen.

Nuse Joy: 10

Mr. Sukizo: 10

Mr. Contesta: 10

"Blake has a perfect score!"

Mr. Contesta explains, "That was the most beautiful and the most wonderful performance ever. To be honest, I wasn't sure about what was gonna happen with that giant rose, but the pay-off was magnificent."

Mr. Sukizo, "Beyond remarkable." Can someone get him a thesaurus with a dictionary? Well at least he said more than one word.

Nurse Joy then speaks, "I wasn't expecting anything like this. A twist of an original move yet also give us something fresh and unique that we've never seen before."

The audience cheer even louder for giving Blake a wonderful compliment.

"Now that's the way to end the performance round on a high note! Now we will take a brief intermission as the judges choose who can head on over to the battle stage."

Blake sits down and takes a relieving sigh in the dressing room.

"That must've been tough." Yang says to Blake.

"No kidding." Blake looks at Yang, "I can't believe that actually worked."

"Practice makes perfect, as they say."

Blake sits back, "I believe so."

Yang is about to say something, but Blake raises one finger.

"Please no puns."

Yang rolls her eyes and scoffs, "Fine."

Weiss is brushing her hair, "Are you gonna use Vulpix in the battles?" she has her eyes on the side as she looks at Blake, "I highly doubt that you can pull all that off in the battle."

"I know, but I'm thinking about having Frogadier do the fighting." Blake looks at Weiss, "We are allowed to choose up to two Pokemon, at least in this contest."

"True, true. But still though." Weiss puts the brush down and turn her attention at Blake, "Perhaps you should practice how to do that once we're finished with the contest. However, I do have one question."

"What is it?"

"How did you managed to use your confuse ray without having your Vulpix being confused?"

Ruby appears, "Yeah, how do you managed to do that? 'Cause, I would like to know in the next contest."

Over in the mountains, Franklin, after fixing his outfit, is watching a replay of Blake's Vulpix as it turned gold with flames. He watches the replay again and again on his Megadex as he watches every frame and step-by-step that occurred as he sits on a branch up a tall pine tree.

"Now this is very interesting." Franklin says with great interests, "A very unique spin to some of the moves I've been doing. Looks like I gotta get my A-game back on for Pokemon Contests to explore a whole new world waiting from beyond." He places his hand on the branch but notices that something feels sticky. "Eww!" he is disgusted, "Now I got pine sap on me! I just got these clothes repaired and now they're all sticky!"

Franklin then tries to jump off the tree but his duster is glued onto the branch by the sap as he just slips out and fall onto the ground as he screams.

"Now that's some super strong sap." he pop his head out from the bush with a slight bruise on the upper left corner of his forehead. Yet he looks at the bush, "And what a lousy place to put a poison oak bush."

Back over at the stadium, Team RWBY await for the results on the monitor.

Vivian appears on screen, "Apologies for the wait, everyone! The results are in and the coordinators have been chosen for the battle round with all of them given opponents by random. Here is our coordinators and who are they facing off against."

A bunch of cards with black intricate patterns on their back swirl around in the white background as everyone is in anticipation on who gets to go on. Who gets to battle against who. And to see what will happen next. As the results come in, the team is in total shock on who gets to fight against who as it is revealed that Weiss and Blake are going to be facing against each other in the first round while Ruby and Yang are facing each other in the last round. They are surprised to see that they are gonna have to face each other out of the eight people that have been picked. Now the question is, who will come out as the winner of the Kanto City Pokemon Contest? Stay tuned!

AN: Okay guys, I do apologize for making this short, but I'm not having a good few days. I keep on getting 404 on this site for some reason, my original Xbox console is in dire need of repairs, I had the electricity shut off for an hour while working on one of my other chapters (like last minute edits) and had my water temporarily shut-off because of a broken sprinkler. And now we have a new strain of COVID that is going around. Just wanna upload this quick before something else bad happens.

And to answer StaryHaloinRWBY's question: Yes. But I find the song fitting for this in my own way.
