I stood behind a tree as Elijah threw Klaus his clothes.

"You've been busy," Elijah told him.

"That was amazing," Klaus sighed. "How long has it been?"

"Almost 2 days. Full moon came and went. You remained a wolf," Elijah informed him. I heard Klaus getting dressed and I turned only to see a flash of skin and quickly looked away again.

"I can change at will, then. It's good to know. I remember every single kill," Klaus reveled.

"Will you hurry up and get dressed!" I shouted at him and I heared Klaus laugh at me.

"We've been cleaning up your little mess along the way," Elijah told him as I finally came out from behind my tree.

"Just like old times, brother," Klaus smirked at him.

"You've had your fun. I believe we have a bargain," Elijah reminded him.

"That's right. Now, what was it again?" Klaus mocked him while putting on his shoes. "Oh, yeah. Wait. I remember. That's it. You wish to be reunited with our family." Elijah picked up Klaus's jacket and wiped off the dirt and leaves as I joined the brothers.

"You gave me your word, Niklaus," Elijah reminded him.

"What kind of brother would break his bond? Even though you did try to kill me," Klaus added while finally putting his shirt on.

"I could have," Elijah reminded him as he held his jacket open for Klaus. "But I didn't."

"And now no one can, not even you." I looked between the two as they stared at each other. If a fight broke out between the pair, I was bolting for France or somewhere safe. "Relax, Elijah. All is forgiven," Klaus told him quietly.

"Where are they?" Elijah asked just as softly.

"You need to lighten up," Klaus told him before turning to me and offering me his arm. I took the offered arm and we walked away back towards Mystic Falls. "I'll bring you to them soon enough."

We entered our borrowed home with Elijah behind us.

"Klaus, Bella, you're back," she greeted beofre moving into our eyesight pulling Stefan along with her. "Look who decided to come for a visit."

"You just keep popping up, don't you?" Klaus asked with an amuzed smirk on his face.

"I need your help..." Elijah closed the door as Stefan turned his gaze to me. "For my brother."

"What's wrong with Damon?" I asked him while crossing my arms. "Did he finally stop tyring to get Elena to notice him?"

"Whatever it is, it's gonna have to wait a tick," Klaus told us. "You see, I have an obligation to my brother that requires my immediate attention." Klaus moved away from us and towards the single room in the apartment.

"You understand how important family is, or you wouldn't be here," Elijah told Stefan moving away from me and the door. "My brother gave me his word that he would reunite me with my own."

"And so I shall." Elijah quickly turned as Klaus stabbed him with a dagger, killing him temporarily. Klaus shushed him as he fell to the ground before vamp speeding and pushing Stefan against the wall. "Now, what am I gonna do with you?" Klaus had grabbed a stake and I jumped slightly as he stabbed Stefan. Stefan groaned and buckled forward but Klaus held him up. Even Katherine was hiding slightly away from the pair. "Do you feel that? It's scraping against your heart. The slightest little movement and you're dead." Klaus pushed the stake deeper in and Katherine stepped forward.

"He's just trying to help his brother," she pointed quietly giving me a look.

"The witches said you had a cure," Stefan groaned out. "Make me a deal. Just give me the cure, and I'll do whatever you want." I hissed in pain as Klaus pulled out the stake dropping Stefan to the floor. Klaus walked over to the counter and I turned to see him put a dagger on it.

"Trouble is I don't know if you'd be any good to me the way you are now," Klaus told him while pouring a glass of blood. "You are just shy of useless." Klaus took the blood and knelt down infront of Stefan while Katherine and I watched on. "I heard about this one vampire, crazy bloke, always on and off the wagon for decades. When he was off, he was magnificent. 1917, he went into Monterrey and wiped out an entire migrant village...A true ripper. Sound familiar?" Klaus took a sip of his blood with a smirk on his face.

"I haven't been that way in a very long time," Stefan told him.

"Well, that's the vampire I can make a deal with. That is the kind of talent that I can use when we leave this town." Klaus motioned to me with his glass and Stefan just stared at me while he stood up.

"Katerina." Klaus held out a hand to her. "Come here." Katherine did as instructed and put her hand in his. He quickly bit her and she immediatly started screaming as she stared at the bite. Out of curiosity I moved forward and looked at her wrist.

"Ohhh, that looks pretty bad," I teased her as she freaked out.

"Aah! Aah! No. No...No. No. No." I watched him bit his own wrist and forced Katherine to drink his blood. We watched as the bite healed with no problems.

"You want your cure? There it is," Klaus told Stefan.

"Your blood is the cure."

"Gotta love Mother Nature." Klaus patted Stefan on the shoulder as he started to pass him by. "Now...Let's talk, you and I." Klaus leaned on the counter with the blood bag still in front of him. He offered it to me and I joined him and took the bag from him and took a drink looking up at him. I questioned what he was doing with my face as he grabbed a vial and started filling it with his blood. He just smirked at me before turning to Stefan. "There it is. You want to save your brother? How 'bout a decade-long bender?" Klaus asked him. "And I have big plans for you when we leave this town."

"I'm not like that anymore," Stefan told him.

"Well, that's too bad. You would have made a hell of a wingman." Klaus started pouring the blood down the sink.

"What the hell have I been?" I asked glaring at him.

"I can hardly call my righthand my wingman, can I?" Klaus asked with a smirk and I just sighed.

"Wait." Klaus, who'd stopped pouring the blood down the sink while we'd been talking, turned to Stafan.

"Now that's more like it. I want you to join me for a drink." Klaus pulled out another blood bag from the fridge and tossed it to Stefan. Stefan took it as we watched and took a sip. "Finish it." Stefan froze staring up at us. "All of it." Stefan still stared at him. "You do everything I say, and I save your brother. That's the deal." Stefan slowly lifted the bag and drained it dry. Klaus grabbed another full bag, and tossed it to him. "Again." Stefan opened it and stared at Klaus and I before draining the bag. We watched as Stefan drained four bags and toss them on the floor. Stefan, blood dripping down his chin and covering the floor, was squeezing the life out of a fifth bag.

"Wow," I admired. "That was impressive."

"You're very cooperative," Klaus told him moving towards him. "It's almost as if you're enjoying it." Stefan threw the next bag on the floor next to him and stared up at him.

"No more. Not until you give me the cure," Stefan ordered.

"Not until we make a deal," Klaus told him. "It's your choice, Stefan. You can either remain here living your life in Mystic Falls, or you can embrace what you truly are, leave town with me and your sister, and save your brother's life." Klaus had crouched down and offered another bag to Stefan. Stefan stared at him, before snatching it and drinking it vigorously. "That's the spirit." Klaus rises and takes the vial and moved to Katherine and forced her up by her throat. "Sweetheart... Take this over to Damon and come right back."

"You want me to leave?" Katherine asked him.

"No!" I looked at Stefan before looking back at the older pair.

"Yes," I stared at Katherine's releaved face. "And if I were you..." Katherine took the vial and rushed out the door using her vamp speed. "I'd hurry.".

"And here I thought she didn't like Damon all that much," I said quietly to myself staring out the open door. Klaus sat in a chair and smirked at Stefan who stared at us.

"She'll never take it to him." Klaus just shrugged his shoulders in indifference and I stared down at my drink. "She'll never take it to him."

LAter that night, I stood behind Klaus as he stared down at Elijah's dessicated body.

"I suppose, brother, you've been reunited with our family," Klaus told him as he closed the coffin and looked up at the two men. "Put him with the others. We're leaving town tonight." They took Elijah and we turned to Stefan who was staring at his phone.

"So?" I asked him and he looked up at me. "Did she make it to Damon in time?"

"You won't be seeing her again, you know," Stefan told us.

"Because she's on vervain?" Klaus asked him. "I've been around a long time, Stefan. I rarely get played for a fool. Besides, she won't get far. You two will help me see to that."

"What is it you really want from me?" Stefan asked Klaus. I'd never noticed they were both the same height before.

"All will be explained in time. Once we leave this tragic little town."

"Then are we done here? Can we go?" Stefan asked and I moved from their sides to just behind Klaus and one of the crates.

"Not quite. You see, I have a gift for you." I grabbed the girl gently by the arm and pulled her out for the boys to see.

"Don't be afraid," I told her with a smile.

"See, I wanna make sure you honor our deal...that you'll be of use to me." The girl and I now stood next to Klaus. He grabbed her chin and pulled her head away from her neck and bit into it. I watched Stefan watch her blood drip down her front. "I could have compelled her to behave, but a real ripper enjoys the hunt." Klaus let her go and she ran away screaming. Klaus and I watched as he killed her. Klaus wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "Now we can go."
