Chapter 19

Karui Akimichi pt 1

"Karui," said Hinata looking at the woman that would one day become one of her closest friends and confidante" Your turn right now."

The redhaired woman sighed and said," I don't know why it's important for me to do this my life can't be that important but all right."

As she said this, she did what everyone else had done and while she would deny it, she was excited to see her own future wanting to know what it had in store for her.

The moment the screen light up with the vision of the future, everyone else looked excited too especially Karui's teammates.

They were in a big room filled with dresses, decorations, presents, and a table filled with makeups, jewelry with a mirror.

There was also a full-length mirror standing in the corridor before the window that showed the Hokage Monument telling everyone that this time too they were in Konoha.

Every girl of Konoha 12 from Ino to TenTen all were there surrounding someone they couldn't see laughing and looking excited about what they were talking about.

All of them were wearing different colored kimonos for what appeared to be a formal and very important occasion.

The blonde-haired Ino had left her hair to grow more reaching the ground and only a bit of her hair tied with a hair clip made of bush clover. She was wearing a purple kimono with black accents and a broach with the clan symbol placed just above her heart. Her makeup was very minimalist almost invisible.

She looked very beautiful and like a true lady.

"You look very beautiful baby girl," said Inoichi looking at his daughter's future he just hopped; however, her future husband has appreciated her as she deserved

"Thanks," she said smiling she looked very good and she wondered if her Boyfriend, Fiancé, or whatever she had thought so too.

'So, she is married.' Thought Minato, Itachi, and Shikamaru being the only ones to notice the wedding band on her finger

'Beautiful.' Thought Sai as he looked at the most beautiful woman, he had ever seen but then he shook his head he couldn't be thinking that his life belonged to Konoha and the ROOT.

Sakura was wearing a pink one with bloodred accents with her pink hair short and modeled in a way that allowed the Strength of a Hundred Seal to be seen proudly. Apparently, her like for the color pink hadn't disappeared when she grows up but it suited her very much.

"Oh," said Mebuki Haruno" doesn't our daughter look beautiful Kizashi." the man in question just nodded his head

As soon as her mother said that Sakura blushed but she couldn't help but look in the direction of her future husband wanted to know what he thought but his face was blank as it always was

TenTen was wearing a kimono that was a combination of purple, blue, and green her hair in the same model they were when she was young through the clips were pure gold, and them had a small symbol no one could see clearly.

Hinata had started growing her dark blue hair making them almost as long as was wearing a blue one with green accents and she looked very beautiful in a very simple way.

Temari was wearing teal-colored kimono that made her eyes pop her hair was free from her usual model. She like Ino wore a broach with a symbol but they wouldn't see what said symbol said she also had a wedding band sitting proudly on her finger.

"You look very beautiful baby," said Karura with stars in her eyes her biggest regret was to not be able to see her children grow up

'It could be worse.' Thought Karura as she looked at the Future Hokage 'I could've outlived my children as she had too.' She didn't think she would be strong enough to live without one of them, that was the reason she protected Gaara even from beyond the grave

None of them were wearing their headbands which meant this was an important occasion but not for them as shinobi.

Looking at the view Hinata was smiling and said," I remember this."

"So, what's happening because it's my future and I can't see myself," said Karui looking at the woman that she would apparently become close in the future she still couldn't believe it was going to happen after all she didn't have female friends

Said woman just chuckled looking into amber eyes" You know I had forgotten how protective you used to be."

"I am not." said the future Akimichi Matriarch hand in her hip in a way that reminded Hinata of the woman that fought tooth and nail to win the love of her marriage Clan and won.

Suddenly the other women dispersed from the circle they had formed around someone showing the woman whose future they were seeing.

She looked extremely beautiful in a pure white kimono decorated with lavender flowers and real gold accents.

Her makeup was minimal making her natural beauty pop even more.

Her red hair was left free from any extravagant model that was going to take away from her natural beauty through she as Hinata had allowed her hair to grow now going midback.

"Wow," said Chōji and Karui at the same time when they looked at her future self who looked really beautiful.

"Since when have you become a girl?" asked Omoi teasing his teammate for his trouble he got hit in the head by both the women on his team

'I kind of deserve it.' thought the Kumo shinobi

"While Omoi was rude I want to know why you are dressed in something so expensive you aren't one for those."

The future woman chuckled but was ignored by the others" I know right? And I don't even know what to think of it."

"Just look." said the former Hyūga

"So," said Ino" are you excited?" smiling from ear to ear

The redhaired woman looked at herself in the mirror and said" More like nervous. Are you sure I look good?"

She looked at all of her friends one by one as she straightened her already perfect dress" What if he realizes he is making a mistake and runs away."

She was extremely confident with everything else but when it came to her love life, she was very insecure something that both her fiancé and friends had tried to cure her of they still had a long way in front of them.

As she finished, she was hyperventilating worrying everyone until Temari slapped her on the cheek making her stop not the best way to help someone but it worked

"All right 'Rui I need you to calm down it's your wedding day and you look beautiful we all mean it," she said pointing to the girls there who all nodded in sync smiling even more than the blonde had done before

"It's my wedding day?" asked Karui her eyes wide as she looked at herself on that day" Well, at least it makes sense why I'm dressed like that."

'She's getting married' thought Chōji sadly looking at the most beautiful girl he had ever seen he didn't even know why he was sad he had just met her 'And she is from another village.'

As he looked at the Akimichi heir the blond Hokage elbowed his friend pointing to the man's son giving him a pointed look" I know," said the Clan Head whispering "But what can I do we are going to see the girl's husband I can't stop it."

"I just need to know that if he falls in love with someone from another village you won't mind."

"Do you know me 'Nato I haven't changed that much since you died." the blue-eyed man chuckled and said, "I'm glad."

"'Mari is right 'Rui I met with him before I came here and he was hyperventilating even more then you and was worried you would be the one to run away because he thought you would find someone better."

The bride chuckled and said," Why would I find someone else especially after I spent a very long time fighting for his love with his Clan who hate me by the way."

"They do?" asked Karui looking at the woman from the future

"Hate is a strong word even at the very beginning. They had a slightly hard time trusting you because you were from a different village and what has happened with the other villages during the Third Shinobi war but their future Clan head refused to marry anyone else except for you so they had no choice but to accept it. And you and your village were one of the first to help during the Fourth Shinobi War and that helped."

Seeing the look on her face she continued" Don't worry the love you now." making ger smile

"Who else helped?" asked Tsunade she wanted to know who to trust

"Well every major village helped but the first to join the Alliance was Suna they joined even before the war was on the horizon."

"Really?" asked Temari looking interested but she didn't get more information

"Hate is a bit of a strong word and you know it, love," said Ino as she took a flower crown and put it on the bride's head

Turning to the mirror and looking at the new addition she said "It looks amazing Ino thank you for making it for me."

"No problem at all 'Rui now calm down or you will ruin your makeup and we don't have another two hours to redo it."

The dark-skinned woman chuckled knowing she was right and said "Thank you Ten for allowing Hi-Chan to be the ring bearer at the wedding."

"Wait." said TenTen" That's my son, right?" asked the future Weapon mistress looking extremely interested

"Yes, he is." Answered the blue-haired beauty

The other woman sighed and said" I wish I could see him." because she was so focused on her imagination of her son that she didn't notice the Hyūga genius looking at her with a wistful look

"You love her, don't you?" Neji heard a voice from behind as he turned, he saw the Toad Sanin looking

"She is my friend." was all the Hyūga prodigy said defensively not understanding how the old Sannin had discovered it

The Toad Sannin laughed and looked at the young Hyūga seriously" So was Tsunade but that didn't stop me from falling for her hard. Don't give up you still have a chance as long as she hasn't met the father of her child."

When he had finished saying that he had ended up looking at the only woman he had ever loved and the only woman he had no chance with as she still was head over heels in love with the father of her son even decades after his death.

"Don't mention it 'Rui." said the older woman" Anything for one of my friends and he needs to raise his head from his books I mean what's the point of having a prodigy for a son if he spends so much time with his books."

The others laughed she always complained about that but they all knew that she loved it because it reminded her of his father.

"My son is a prodigy," said TenTen looking excited" That's amazing."

"It's not so amazing," whispered Tsunade because she didn't want anyone to hear her but despite that everyone heard her

"What do you mean Tsunade?" asked Dan looking at the golden eyes, he loved so much" Are you saying our son was a prodigy?"

As soon as he said that those who knew the person in question chuckled gaining everyone's attention

"What?" asked Dan looking at everyone who was laughing he was the only one who was doing that

"Well." said the Third Hokage" You see Dan he wasn't either a genius nor was he a prodigy he was in fact both."

Dan's and everyone's else eyes widened at that" Wow." said Dan while Danzō and the two former members of Team Tobirama looked intrigued after all there was only one shinobi, they knew to be both a genius and a prodigy and he became the Hokage.

Shikamaru looked at the man that was his father's friend interested he noticed that whenever Dan would show interest on his son the former Hokage would pay complete attention to the man and blush every time he complimented it was very interesting for the young genius. Through he had also noticed that the blond man would pay attention to him no matter what looking at him with wide curious eyes.

"You noticed that too." said a voice turning the future clan head looked at a pair of beautiful teal eyes shining with knowledge.

"What are you talking about?" Shikamaru decided to play innocent while he didn't know why he knew very well that the blue-eyed Hokage was important to his dad and he felt the need to protect him like he subconsciously felt the need to protect Naruto from the moment he had met the young blond

The daughter of the Kazekage smirked and said" Don't play the innocent with me it doesn't suit you very well but if you don't discuss it with me then just say so I'm a big girl I can deal with it."

"Tell me about," said Hinata" Mi-Chan is both I feel extremely stupid every time she opens her mouth to say something."

"She still hasn't totally accepted you, hasn't she?" asked Temari she was the only one to slightly understand what Hinata was going through because while Shikamaru didn't have a child, he did have a goddaughter that he loved like a daughter and she too had a hard time accepting Temari.

The Hyūga woman sighed and said sadly" Yeah but I understand what's she is going through she has already lost a parent and to her, it feels like she is losing another one with me being in her life as a romantic interest for her dad, I can't exactly blame her for it."

The past Hinata looked sad at the fact that her future stepdaughter didn't like her as did Naruto until her father and uncle started laughing "What's wrong?" asked the Hyūga heir looking upset that they were laughing at her

Stopping laughing when they looked at the look in her face, they turned serious" We are sorry baby girl but she is doing the same thing her grandfather did at the prospect of her mother getting married." said Hizashi

"It just means that she thinks a lot about her other parent and it feels like a betrayal to said parent I am sure she will accept you."

"She does it's just that she is stubborn as hell," said Hinata smiling

Looking up at all her friends and sighting again she looked at the bride smiling sheepishly she said," I'm sorry, 'Rui I'm ruining your wedding."

The beautiful redhaired just shook her head" Don't worry Hina I don't mind at all I'm just glad you are all here for me today."

The women there were about to speak there was a knock on the door and all five of them moved in front of the bride blocking her from view.
