After Brier and Beauregard were handed over to Sheppard and given another stern lecture, although not as utterly ego destroying as Jaden's, they were suspended from class for a week as punishment and it was a very light one considering that they repeatedly broke two of the bigger rules on campus.

Jaden then sent Syrus back to the dorm claiming that she needed to talk with Bastion about something, Bastion thought he heard her mention something about that 'sweet arm lock' he had used. In reality Jaden led Bastion down the hallway to a room that was next to Crowler's office and personal suite. Opening the door she invited him in and removed her shoes as she seemed to glide across the floor to a comfy looking living room. Everything was done in tasteful amounts of black and red and silver with a few golden-bronze decorations thrown in there to brighten it up a bit.

"This is my personal suite for when I'm here as Lilith Crowler instead of Jaden Yuki. You want the couch or the chair? Want anything to drink?" Lilith asked as she glanced at him and then moved towards the fridge. She needed a drink as well.

"Some tea if you have it and don't mind. I'll be fine with the chair." Bastion said sitting down in the chair which was comfier than it looked.

"Make yourself at home." Lilith called as she retrieved two glasses from the kitchen cabinet and then put on a kettle of water to boil.

"While that's boiling I'm going to slip into something a little more comfy if you don't mind waiting a moment." Lilith said making Bastion smile at her and nod for her to go ahead while he peered around the room curiously.

"Help yourself to the bookshelf if you see anything interesting." Lilith said before retreating down a small hallway to her bedroom and quickly changing into an Ancient Gear Golem T-shirt and a pair of comfortable black slacks. Reaching to her eyes she removed her contacts and put them into a safe case as she left the room. Her sensitive ears heard the kettle begin to emit a soft low whistle and knew it'd be loud enough to shriek in a moment, so she quickly made her way back to the kitchen.

Passing through the living room she saw Bastion reading one of her books on different types of vampires with a curious look on his face. She almost snorted aloud at the irony of that as she quickly turned the kettle off just as it shrieked.

Pouring the hot water into the more colorful cup she put a tea bag in it to seep for a minute while she reached into the fridge again and brought out her own drink, pouring the entire bag into the goblet styled bronze colored cup. She added just a small bit of the hot water to warm up her drink and then she smiled as she picked up the cups and carried them back into the living room.

She placed Bastions cup down on the coaster on the glass table that was tainted dark at the edges and had a swirling blood red middle.

"Thank you." Bastion said glancing up from his book to glance at the cup of proper English tea, and she had even put a small bowl of sugar and a few lemon slices on the side for him. Despite her male persona she truly was a wonderful hostess and very thoughtful.

"Bookmark?" Lilith offered holding out a bookmark that was painted to look like the back of a duel monsters card.

"It's an interesting book." Bastion said accepting the offered bookmark and putting it on the current page.

"Feel free to borrow it once we're done with the talk. I think you deserve to know a few things since you've offered to assist me and have yet to question things that by all rights you should have." Lilith said as she stretched along the couch, laying across the couch so that her feet were at one end and she had her head propped up on a closed fist while her elbow rested on the arm of the couch. She held her goblet in her free hand as she watched Bastion with curious but calm blue eyes.

"Your secrets are your own to share. I have no right to demand any answers from you." Bastion said calmly as he stared at the girl and he felt himself get a little hot under the collar. She had flattened her hair out of it's usual 'Kuriboh' style so that it now fell down to just past her shoulders and seemed to form small spikes at the end. Her eyes were a familiar shade of blue, looking much like Crowlers, but they were a bit darker than her fathers and were peering at him curiously but amused. Her lips, usually so pale, seemed to become a dark blood red as she took a small drink from her goblet. The T-shirt and slacks being loose on her frame however didn't stop him from noticing how they pressed against a few of her growing curves since she was laying sideways on the couch to face him. And now that he was looking at her he could see that she seemed paler than normal but not unhealthily so.

All in all she was very beautiful and even a logic driven and focused young man like Bastion could recognize that.

"Even so I'm sure you have a few questions and I can answer most of them. Ask whatever you like and while I won't promise I'll answer every question I'll not lie to you." Jaden said making Bastion nod and he thought over what his first question should be carefully.

"Whatever you did to Beauregard…it was no hypnosis I had ever heard of." Bastion said and the question was hanging in the air between them.

"Correct. You wouldn't have heard or seen it yourself and still be here as you are. It's usually used to lure in or trap prey." Lilith said making Bastion raise an eyebrow at that.

"You referred to humans as prey before. With both Beauregard and Harrington. That implies that you are carnivorous and possibly cannibalistic as well…but there's been no changes to your diet or food which means you've been that way since before you came to the Island." Bastion analyzed that closely and stared hard at Lilith.

"Correct. I was born this way. And I don't eat people if that's what you think. I don't have any hankering for flesh." Lilith said smiling amused as Bastion quickly analyzed that.

"No…you don't eat people. You drink them. You drink blood don't you?" Bastion asked after a long moment of silence while Lilith took sips from her goblet, his question making Lilith laugh aloud and the heat he felt under his collar got just a bit hotter at hearing her laugh. It was a musical light sound that was almost like tinkling bells.

"Correct again! Congratulations Bastion. You're three for three right now. Care to try and make it four?" Lilith asked and the playfulness in her voice was doing plenty of things to Bastion that he would never admit to.

"You're a vampire." Bastion said making Lilith look more amused than she should.

"That's only half right I'm afraid. Just like I'm only half. I believe the technical term for me is Dhamphir? Although that would imply that my father is the vampire." Lilith said and Bastion merely nodded at that.

"Your mother. Her split personality. One side was human and the other was vampire. Her human side is what died when you were born." Bastion said making Lilith smirk slightly.

"You have a knack for coming to the right conclusions. Yes my mom was a vampire as well who had managed to become human to the point where she was able to conceive and have me. However…Dhamphir's like I are born quite violently. We have our teeth and claws before we even leave our mothers bodies. If she had been regular human like my dad is, she would have been permanently dead. However thanks to her vampire side…as I said while she may have been a human to a certain point she was still inherently a vampire. That's why I'm half instead of only a quarter." Lilith said adding in that last bit since she knew it would be another question of his in a moment.

"I see. That makes sense and explains why your eyes seem to change color when you feel strong emotions and why you are so lethargic during the day. So what you did to Beauregard. Some kind of Vampire hypnosis?" Bastion guessed making Lilith hum a bit.

"Not wrong I suppose but it's not quite hypnosis like you're thinking. It's more like….hm I suppose it can be described as me simply overpowering his mind. His will was weaker than mine and therefore he fell under my thrall. That meant he'd do whatever I told him to as long as it did not go against his own moral code or anything like that. I couldn't make him murder someone unless he wanted to murder them himself." Lilith said making Bastion nod slowly. That was honestly a bit of a relief to learn.

"How often do you need blood may I ask?" Bastion asked glancing at the goblet in her hand that she twirled slightly before taking another sip.

"To keep me functional? Once a month, once a week has me able to pass off as being more human during the day. Once a day and I'll be just like a regular human unless something big or drastic happens. I can also feed off of duel energy to help me pass off as normal, it's why I don't need blood as often as I would otherwise." Lilith said making Bastion nod again in understanding.

"May I ask how you get your blood?" Bastion asked making Lilith nod, that was an understandable question after all.

"Usually I use blood bags. However in a pinch my dad, uncle and aunt let me feed from them. I don't need a lot, it's about the same as if you would donate some blood. A bit of orange juice and a snack, maybe some sleep, and they're right as rain." Lilith said making Bastion hesitate for a moment.

"If that is all then during emergency situations you can consider me as being a donor for you as well." Bastion offered making Lilith blink surprised at him for the first time during the whole chat.

"I wasn't expecting that…although I suppose it would be a good idea just in case something happens and I'm not able to get to my family or blood bag supply." Lilith said making Bastion hum slightly.

"Indeed. It's more likely that if something happens during the day or during a nighttime adventure I will be with you rather than a teacher would. It is simply logical that I offer you some of my blood if you ever need it." Bastion said calmly.

"You're taking this a lot better than I thought you would." Lilith said and finally for once she frowned as she stared at him, a question in her eyes and on her lips.

"I don't believe in judging someone on the basis of how they were born or for things that they can't control. You've proven to be quite the curious woman and yet quite the selfless one as well. Always helping solve whatever problem there is present…it only makes sense that I judge you based on those qualities than on the way you were born." Bastion said shrugging slightly. Lilith gave him a flat look.

"You'll gather all the info you can from every source and then decide how to proceed further from there." Lilith deadpanned making Bastion smirk. She truly knew him well for having known him for less than two months.

"Correct."
