Yugioh GX Crowler Au

"Wait hold on." Jaden's voice stopped the actual party that had broke out in the Slifer dorm, and got the attention of her father who was giving Bastion a very detailed description of what the blond would do to the brit if said brit ever hurt his daughter.
"What is it Jaden?" Sheppard asked blinking curiously at the girl who had been talking with Dorothy from the Card Shop.
"So…every year North Academy does this big show to try and prove they're stronger and better and intimidate us?" Jaden asked making a few of the others students who had been there for the duel last year nod their heads. Honestly Jaden hadn't known about this, usually during the School Duel she was helping Ms. Dorothy in the shop or watching Professional duels on TV with aunt Fonda.
"And we do…nothing?" Jaden asked making a few of the older students nod again, some exchanging looks.
"Well…that won't do at all." Jaden said slowly grinning wickedly and making Sheppard snort slightly.
"Whatever you do, don't destroy the school or the island." Sheppard said and Jaden beamed at him with two thirds the radiance of the sun.
"No promises." Jaden nearly sang that.
"Chumley, Bastion, Syrus, Jasmine, Mindy, Alexis front and center! We have planning to do! Anyone who wants to help be on standby and make sure you write your names down on a sign up sheet." Jaden said grinning as he tacked a sheet to the wall and immediately every Slifer began to write their names on it, as did quite a few of the Girls in Blue.
"Well what's the decree Jaden?" Syrus asked grinning slightly nervously as he stared at his friend who had a rather unhinged grin on his face.
"Oi nurse Fonda! Miss Dorothy! Either of you mind helping?" Jaden asked making the two smirk slightly as they walked over.
"What do you need us for?" Fonda asked wondering what her darling niece was planning.
"I know you two are both former military and honestly having all of the students show up in a military manner would be epic but…artillery shells." Jaden said making the two blink before slow wicked smiles crawled across their faces.
"I still have plenty of fireworks in the back of the shop. Confetti too but no cannons." Dorothy said rubbing her hands together deviously while the students were surprised. They didn't know that the nurse and card shop owner were former military.
"I can have some confetti cannons rigged up in about an hour or two depending on how many and if I have any competent help." Fonda said making Bastion nod to her.
"I'm good with machines, my uncle has a mechanic shop that I helped out in every summer." Bastion said making her glance at him and raise an eyebrow but nod slightly.
"Bit different than what we're going to do but I can work with it." Fonda said making Jaden grin.
"So fireworks and confetti cannons at the arena for when the duel is about to start, we can do big dramatic entrance for you so that they go off right as you enter the arena!" Jasmine said her eyes lighting up brightly at that idea. This was going to be epic!
"Jasmine, Mindy, Alexis…you three are on clothing duty. I want something that screams badass. Anyone who wants to help out can have a jacket or shirt or even just a patch with DAI on it to show some school unity! Make us look like we actually get along sometimes or can at least be united against a rival school, sleek and awesome is the order here ladies. Think you're up for it?" Jaden asked grinning at the three teenage girls who looked at each other and then gave slow wicked grins.
"All of those with fashion and designing as their specialties and especially those in clothing design with us!" Alexis called as she and her two friends split off from the main group, quickly followed by most of the girls and a number of boys.
"Chumley, I've seen your art skills. How fast do you think you can paint or draw some pictures of Duel Monsters or of battles between two monsters and spread them around the school? Not really for moral but more for it being awesome and the Chancellor only asking me to not destroy the school." Jaden asked and Chumley blushed a bit as she brought up his art skills but grinned when he heard his task.
"I've already got a few I've been working on that we can use, I can have a couple more done by tonight. More of them done and put up if I have help." Chumley said making Jaden nod her head.
"Get your group and get started then, I'll give you my grilled cheese sandwiches for a week." Jaden said and Chumley grinned wider at that.
"All of those good at art with me! We've got pictures to draw and paint and post people!" Chumley said moving to form his own group, causing a couple of the girls and boys to move towards him.
"Syrus, I want you in charge of not just making sure I get up on time in the morning…but also I want you to try and see if you can help out wherever you feel comfortable. You and whoever joins you can run between the groups to help out and relay messages so that there's no clashing on things." Jaden said kindly to his shy friend who nodded and just kind of hung around until Jaden was done.
"Bastion, you're mainly going to be with Nurse Fonda on the confetti cannons but I want you on other things too. I know you have a mind for math and equations and calculations…so I want you on the lights and all for the big entrance of the duel especially. We're going all out with this so do your best okay? You'll also be helping me decide which deck you think I should use if I don't just let my opponent pick. We'll have to wait until we see who it is to know for sure but we can still come up with different scenarios and all for different combos. Recruit whoever you want to help you and Nurse Fonda with the mechanical stuff." Jaden said and Bastion nodded.
"Mechanics and engineers with me! Anyone with experience with things like lighting is also welcome!" Bastion called loudly and earned a couple of the leftover kids not with a group yet to flock to him.
"I know you can do it all yourself if you want to but we don't want your car breaking down again if you have to transport a lot so take some of the bigger students with you to help you out." Jaden said softly to Dorothy who nodded and immediately snagged Beauregard and another two or three guys close to his build but not his height.
"Have a role for me then?" Crowler asked his daughter amused and she grinned up at him, her pointy teeth on display.
"You're the announcer and referee during the duel teach. You don't need a role other than that." Jaden said making him snort slightly.
"Just make sure you tell me what deck you're going to use then." Crowler said before he walked off towards Sheppard who looked amused at everyone.
"Jaden! We think we have an outfit ready for you!" Alexis called making Jaden grin at her.
"Be there in a sec! Man you girls work fast!" Jaden said amused before she turned to Syrus and patted his head.
"Better get your group and get going Sy. Don't worry, you've got this and if you need help then just say the word." Jaden said ruffling Syrus's hair and giving the boy a fond smile.
"Yeah you're right Jay! I got this!" Syrus said beaming up at Jaden who grinned back before leaving towards the fashion group. She paused beside Zane however and gave him an evil glare, still not forgiving him for breaking Syrus's self-confidence so much. Zane's breath was knocked out of him by the sudden intense pressure he felt coming from the small boy beside him.
"You…you stay the fuck away from Syrus. He's finally starting to build up some confidence in himself and I don't want you fucking it up." Jaden said her eyes flashing red at Zane before she walked past him as if she hadn't said anything while Zane was frozen in place.
That intense dark pressure…and red eyes…they both scared him slightly and intrigued him. Just who was Jaden Yuki?
