Yugioh GX Crowler Au

"A field trip to the ruins? Sounds fun." Jaden said smiling and already planning to go, there was no telling what kind of different things they could learn from the ruins. After all Duel Monsters in general started when Pegasus was exploring some Egyptian ruins and tombs, so who knew what kind of thing could come from exploring the islands ruins.

She was probably going to be sleepy since it was a day time field trip, but she expected that. And her sleepiness and hunger were a lot less unbearable or debilitating now a days since she had a willing donor who let her drink some of his blood every day if she needed it. It was a lot better than bagged blood but it was taking her a while to get used to having more energy and tolerance for the sun that usually made her sleep.

"Indeed it does. I believe I shall be coming along on this trip as well." Bastion said almost immediately as he sat beside her and smiled at her. Most of the time the students sat in rows and seats determined by their dorm but most of the teachers for the first years didn't actually mind letting the students mix up where they sat so they can mingle with the other dorm students.

To that degree no one said anything when Bastion moved his seat to be next to Jadens as soon as he learned of there being no rule against it. Syrus was on Jaden's other side but since he openly said that Syrus was like a little brother no one bothered paying that any attention.

There were plenty of whispers going around about Bastion hanging around Jaden so much all of the time the two could be together however and more than a few of the Obelisk Blue girls were squealing slightly over how cute of a couple they were and about the 'boy on boy love'.

Naturally Jaden and Bastion were completely ignorant of these rumors and why people acted so weird around them sometimes. Crowler however was not, having overheard more than a few of his students talking about the 'orange King couple' since Bastion was the Ra Yellow King and Jaden was the Sliffer Red King.

He had cornered Bastion who had looked confused and baffled by his questions and behavior and honestly said that he and Jaden weren't dating at the moment. Crowler had relaxed a bit at that until Bastion admitted however that if Jaden did want to date him then he would not refuse her affections or confession.

Crowler damn near blew a gasket as he threatened Bastion with severe and probably impossible bodily harm if Bastion ever dared to hurt his daughter or break her heart.

Bastion had been offended by the very notion and pointedly reminded Crowler that he was raised by a single mother because his father was an asshole who broke his mothers heart and ditched them before Bastion was born. He was raised to respect women and treat them with the upmost kindness and be a gentleman. He would not force her to stay with him if they did start to date and figured out that they were not a compatible couple but he also would do his best not to hurt her and would be an attentive gentlemen of a boyfriend if she was interested in him.

Crowler had backed off and apologized for going a bit overboard but Bastion merely gave him a smile and waved it off. After all Nurse Fontaine had threatened to shoot his balls off with a sniper rifle if he hurt her niece.

"Should we be expecting Chaperones or will you be both our tour guide and our Chaperone Dr. Banner?" Jaden asked wondering if her dad was going to tag along, she wouldn't put it past him.

"I shall be both guide and chaperone Jaden. Everyone coming along have your forms filled out and handed to me by the end of the day." Banner said and Jaden and Bastion both sighed slightly in relief. So Crowler and Fontaine weren't going to be coming along hovering over and around them glaring death at Bastion the whole time. Good to know.

"What are the chances that one of them follows us discreetly?" Bastion whispered to Jaden who snorted slightly in amusement as she filled out her form. Syrus and Chumley also filling their own out.

"Not low enough for me to put money on it but not high enough for me to remind them that I'm more than capable of defending myself." Jaden said smirking at Bastion who blushed slightly at the smirk that showed a pointy fang just barely peeking past her lips.

"Hm. Understandable I suppose." Bastion said averting his eyes slightly and Jaden tilted her head confused. Why did he look away and why was his face red?

"You okay Bass?" Jaden asked looking worried and making Bastion look back at him just in time for Jaden to kiss his forehead, making Bastions whole face erupt bright red while the Obelisk girls watching squealed loudly at that. Syrus glared darkly at Bastion from around Jaden's back and Banner raised an eyebrow.

"That's strange. Your face is flushed but it doesn't feel like you have a fever." Jaden said after pulling away and looking puzzled at Bastion.

"It can't be a sunburn since it just showed up and we've been in class most of the day. Did you eat something funny at breakfast and it's making you sick?" Jaden wondered aloud, making most o the class face plant while Bastion sweatdropped a bit but coughed to regain his composure.

"I promise you that I'm not ill Jaden." Bastion said and Jaden frowned curiously at him.

"Are you sure? We can take you to Nurse Fontaine if you don't feel well. Most people don't suddenly become red out of nowhere like that for no reason." Jaden said and most of the class sweatdropped. She was clueless as hell wasn't she?

"No thank you. We shouldn't bother the nurse. I'm not ill I promise you…and I'd rather not get shot thank you." Bastion muttered the last bit under his breath and Jaden gave him a dazzling smile that made him turn a bit red again.

"As long as you promise you're okay then I'll trust you Bastion!" Jaden said and then she yawned and leaned against him, pretending to doze off while his face erupted red again and the class damn near threw a riot.

Jaden was doing her best not to laugh, and her Duel Spirits were cackling and hooting as well.

Bastion was so cute when he was flustered. Besides if she kept playing the clueless card then he'd crack eventually and ask her on a proper date.

Let it not be said that while she wasn't cruel and ruthless like most vampires or dhamphir's….

She was still a sadistic little bitch.
