As a Hufflepuff, Newt easily tracked down Credence. Yes, it turns out Hufflepuffs really are particularly good finders. This is canon now.

Anyway, Newt found Credence at the most happening jazz club in all of London Town. Credence was trying to impress a cute flapper, who was played by Lily James in a brilliant cameo. However, this character was, for legal reasons, not named Lady Rose.

"You are an English gal," Credence sang badly, "while I'm from the land of Silent Cal. Would you like to be my pal? We could go see... the Panama Canal!"

"23-skidoo!" she answered.

"Credence, come with me!" Newt demanded. "We need to go to Crete with my brother!"

"No, I won't go! I belong here, I know. My talent will grow, and I'll put on a show with my... elbow?" sang Credence, running out of words that rhyme with "go."

Everyone in the club booed at his terrible singing, if you can call it that. "Go to Bolshevik Russia!" shouted one heckler.

"Yes, I will go there," Credence sang in reply. "I will go everywhere. It's only fair to share. Everyone should hear my... singing," he finished, unable to think of an appropriate word that rhymed with "there."

"He said he'd go to Bolshevik Russia!" gasped an older lady.

"He's a communist!" yelled some rich guy with a monocle. "Get him!"
