A/N: Dear readers, I've made some edits to the previous chapters, since the face slap from God Ye came so soon (Chapter 180). Instead of using the same gun for all low leveled skills from the Gunner branch, players have to switch weapons. Damn you Ye Xiu Q.Q Also, I've skipped around 30 chapters, since those parts didn't interest me enough to write it out, so don't be shocked by the sudden jump. In fact, I think I'll be doing more of these skips as the whole novel is way too long.

Ever since the launch of the new server, Lord Grim was the centre of attention, having dominated dungeon records and achieved first boss kills. The players from Full Moon Guild pestered Seven Fields and co, wanting Lord Grim to join their guild and bask in his glory. They eventually relented, bringing their guild leader Maple Tree to meet Lord Grim. Ye Xiu agreed to help Full Moon Guild set the dungeon record for Desolate Land, and broke Blue Brook Guild's record by 2.5 minutes. Desperate, Blue River and Cold Night ran back to Heavenly Domain, seeking help.

Despite hearing about Lord Grim's exploits, Changing Spring was not too alarmed. Blue Brook Guild decided to butt heads with Lord Grim, refusing to bribe him materials. With the help of the experts from Heavenly Domain, Blue Brook Guild set a new record for Desolate Land: 24:41:46. Proud as a peacock, Cloud Listening Blade (Poplar Beach) challenged Lord Grim to break it. Ye Xiu calmly replied: When I'm free. True enough, Ye Xiu and co. stepped on their record with a time of 22:35:22, resulting in a wave of comments mocking Cloud Listening Blade.

To try and win back some face, Cloud Listening Blade challenged Lord Grim to a duel the next afternoon. Ye Xiu obliged. To add even more salt on their wounds, Lord Grim and co. had set a second record: 22:29:57. Determined, Poplar Beach went to practise in the Arena.

The next morning, when Jing Jing and Chen Guo came downstairs to eat breakfast, Cai Lin eagerly shared with them about Ye Xiu's duel with Cloud Listening Blade.

"Cloud Listening Blade? Who's that?"

"Some noob from Blue Brook Guild who got owned by Brother Ye. He thought they were such hot stuff, being able to set a dungeon record, but got stepped on when we won them twice."

Their interest sparked, both Chen Guo and Jing Jing insisted that Cai Lin and Tang Rou call them before the duel starts. Chen Guo also happily agreed to lend Ye Xiu her Chasing Haze, blissfully unaware that his opponent was the infamous Poplar Beach.

While waiting for the duel to start, Jing Jing and Chen Guo continued playing Glory, with Chasing Haze power leveling Green Fish. A few hours later, Ye Xiu asked to borrow Chasing Haze. Chen Guo gave up her seat to Ye Xiu, and huddled together with Jing Jing to watch the fight. Similarly, Tang Rou and Cai Lin borrowed a Heavenly Domain account to spectate, while Tang Rou asked someone to cover her shift while she watched the match.

"Ye-ge, which room are you in?" Jing Jing asked.

"I don't know… ..."

"Then how are we supposed to look for it?"

"Hold on."

Ye Xiu immediately announced his arrival in-game, and the chat was flooded with messages. Ye Xiu received an invite, and accepted it. Seeing the room number, Jing Jing and Cai Lin quickly followed suit, joining the room as a spectator.

"Poplar Beach?" Chen Guo exclaimed.

"Who?" Jing Jing and Cai Lin had identical looks of confusion.

"You're familiar with him?" Tang Rou asked.

"I'm not familiar with him, but I do know of him. He's from Blue Brook Guild after all. He's an elite in there, but he's always shouting arrogantly in the world channel. He's really annoying."

"Oh." Chen Guo's explanation was met with three lukewarm replies. This is obviously because Tang Rou is still new to the game, and clueless about the three great guilds. While Jing Jing and Cai Lin think that one God Ye is greater than the whole Blue Brook Guild, and thus, don't care.

Having observed the girls enter the room, Ye Xiu put on his headphones and clicked ready. Poplar Beach quickly did the same, starting the match. They conversed shortly, ending with Poplar Beach roaring at Ye Xiu and charging towards Chasing Haze.

"Shadow Steps! Four afterimages!" Chen Guo shouted.

Apart from the veteran player Chen Guo, Tang Rou, Jing Jing and Cai Lin remained unruffled. They watched Ye Xiu calmly fight back, and when Poplar Beach closed in on Chasing Haze, Ye Xiu controlled Chasing Haze to throw her weapon on the ground.

"F*CK!" Chen Guo jumped up from her seat.

Meanwhile, Chasing Haze executed a Knee Strike, launching Poplar Beach into the air. She threw out a grenade at the perfect moment, sending Poplar Beach flying even higher. Next, Chasing Haze crouched down to pick up her cannon, and sent a chain of powerful attacks at Poplar Beach. In five seconds, Poplar Beach was dead.

Stunned, Chen Guo could only stare blankly at the computer screen. As her brain processed the match, her heart soared, thrilled by Chasing Haze's performance. Tang Rou, Jing Jing and Cai Lin were in similar states, amazed by the one-sided suppression. However, having expected such results, Jing Jing and Cai Lin were quick to wake up from their stupor.

Jing Jing immediately saved a recording of the match, managing to do so before she got kicked out of the room. Cai Lin however, wasn't so lucky, missing it by the split second. She pouted unhappily, causing Tang Rou to smile soothingly at Cai Lin and pat her back.

Unlike the spectators, Ye Xiu did not think much of his win, and removed the headphones. "Boss, you can have your account back!"

"Huh?" Chen Guo was also one of those who were dumbstruck.

" Did you record it?" Chen Guo turned to ask the other girls.

Cai Lin shook her head, whining, "I was so close!"

Jing Jing nodded her head triumphantly. "Yup, I got lucky."

"Great!" Chen Guo cheered, glomping Jing Jing.

"...Can't...breathe…" Jing Jing choked out, patting Chen Guo's back.

"Haha...sorry." Chen Guo chuckled sheepishly, releasing Jing Jing from her bear hug. She looked around the cafe, and was surprised to see that some of her regulars were looking at her.

"What are you looking at?"

"Boss, you're so fierce!"

"What?" Chen Guo stared blankly.

"Chasing Haze!"

"What? Chasing Haze? Where? Where?"

Jing Jing, Cai Lin and Tang Rou stifled their laughs, either pretending to be staring at the monitor or staring elsewhere. Obviously, there were quite a number of customers who watched the match, but not all were close to Chen Guo. These unfamiliar customers thought that Chen Guo was the one who dueled against Poplar Beach, and crowded around her. Chen Guo looked around for Ye Xiu, but could not find him. Seeing the other girls turning a blind eye to her situation, she could only cry out, "that wasn't me. Someone else borrowed my account." Chen Guo glared unhappily at the trio, before hastily running off.

Seeing the blank expressions on everyone's faces, Jing Jing and Cai Lin could not help but burst out into giggles. They covered their mouths, trying to control themselves, but had a hard time doing so. It's way too fun! Poor Guo Guo-jie!

Once Jing Jing and Cai Lin calmed themselves down, all three girls sat down to watch the recording, marvelling over Ye Xiu's skills, or in Jing Jing's and Cai Lin's case, fangirl.

"Jing Jing-jie Jing Jing-jie!"

"Hmm?"

"Why not upload your recording online? Imagine all the reactions and drama it'll cause!" Cai Lin's eyes sparkled mischievously.

"That's not a bad idea! Why didn't I think of that!" Jing Jing swiftly logged into the Glory forums using Green Fish, and posted the video in a thread discussing the match between Chasing Haze and Poplar Beach. To add more fuel to the fire, Cai Lin logged in to Glory, and spammed the tenth server world channel with this message: I await your thanks. link

Seconds later, the already hot topic became even hotter, and the world channel was filled with plenty of people praising Alsheon for his generosity (many did not know that Cai Lin is female).

However, thanks to Cai Lin's shameless promotion and Jing Jing's recording, Chen Guo could no longer peacefully play Glory. She scolded Ye Xiu for the troubles he caused, and he tried to shift the blame onto Cai Lin and Jing Jing. They immediately rebutted Ye Xiu, saying that they were just too happy to show him off, and if he wanted to stay low-key he should have used another method to win Poplar Beach. He's a retired pro, doesn't he have many pro-level strategies he can secretly use? Ye Xiu then tried to blame Poplar Beach for being weak, but it triggered Chen Guo even more and Ye Xiu ran out of the cafe. Trembling with laughter, Jing Jing, Cai Lin and Tang Rou hurriedly finished their dinner before Chen Guo shifted her aggro onto them.

"ARGH! Forget it!" Chen Guo rage quit Glory, furious that she is pestered by strangers everywhere she goes. Jing Jing patted her soothingly, offering her a cup of water. Chen Guo drank it in a gulp, and sighed.

"Sorry Jing Jing, I can't power level Green Fish anymore. There's too many pests bugging me, all thanks to that stupid Ye Xiu."

"It's fine Guo Guo-jie, I'll think of something! There should be other max leveled players around, else I can continue with my main quests."

Jing Jing shouted on the world channel for a carry, and was rewarded for her efforts when a Level 70 Spitfire joined her party. Delighted, the duo headed for a nearby Level 55 dungeon.
