Chapter 11

Half blood hill

Naruto held his chin in thought as he waited for his daughter and the boys. His mind was coming up with ways to combat all threats they might encounter, but he came up short. If it was humans billions of counter measures would've been thought of. This time it was monsters and the last time he faced a monster he almost died. In short he was way over his head but he needed to do this. Sally was waiting and Annabeth had something to prove...also Percy.

"You look tense..." Next to him Hela stood.

"Yeah," he answered. "I'll be fighting an enemy I know nothing about."

"They seem to be fine with it," Hela pointed at the trio, plus Chiron.

"Yes well children will be children." He said. "Looks like they have a visitor."

Luke came running up the hill with a box.

"Makes you wish you had someone to say good bye to you,huh?" Hela said with a chuckle.

Naruto looked at the girl. "You seem more confident than a few minutes ago." He said with a raised brow.

Hela blushed and turned away. "Well I feel more comfortable around you now." She said.

"Speaking of good byes I should hide now," Naruto said as he turned and begun walking towards the woods.

Hela blinked as soon as she saw it. A horde of girls coming straight towards them. As Naruto was walking away she grabbed him by his shirt. "Oh no you don't!"

"Hey w-wait don't-" Before he could finish the horde had already swallowed them whole.

"You promise to come back big brother right!"

"Bring something nice!"

First it was his sisters, some cried saying he was going to die while others called him cool. After a number of promises he managed to pull himself out of that wall.

Only to fall in an even deeper hole.

His Barbie dolls...

They all jumped him, saying how match they love him and also...groping him. Little perverts.

After kisses, hugs and promises of marriage he was set free. Off to the side stood Selina. Naruto sighed as he walked up to her and gave her a hug.

Hela frowned as she heard to the two whisper in each other's ears as they hugged.

"Hope you survive master,"

"I'll leave everything to you for now."

"I won't fail you."

The two separated and Selina turned and walked away. Naruto turned to Help as he cracked his neck.

"Someone's famous," Hela said with a smirk as Naruto stood next to her.

"No thanks to you!"

"I have no idea what you are talking about," Hela turned away with a smirk

Naruto's eye twitched. 'What the hell's up with this chick!'

The two remained silent as they watched Luke walk away after giving Percy a pair of flying shoes.

"That's like giving someone poison and saying sorry you forgot it was poison." Hela muttered to herself though Naruto heard. "That demigod..."

"Ah so you also noticed?" Naruto said with a smile, Hela jumped at the sound of his voice. "His up to something."

"Or we could be reading too deep into things."

"I was waiting for someone to point it out. But Luke is dangerous, you can tell by the look on his eyes. " Naruto said as his blue eyes narrowed. "He hides it well but old habits die had and you sip up sometimes."

"Are you always this paranoid?" Hela asked with a raised brow. "All do you just hate his guts."

"Don't get me wrong I hate his guts. But when you hang around the bad guys to long you can tell just by a look. " His eyes turned to her. "Like you, I'm guessing you're a spy of some sort."

Hela gave him a blank look. "A spy like in the films?" she asked.

"Not exactly but close." Naruto said. "But I'm not worried. It looks like it's me after."

"You seriously think I'm a spy?" the brown haired girl smiled. "You get more interesting by the minute Mr Uzumaki."

"Not a spy per say but you want something from me." He said as he watched Annabeth, Grover, Percy and a blonde guy with eyes all over his body. "That much I can tell."

Hela smiled. "Are you really a child of Demeter? You act more like a child of Athena."

Naruto shrugged. "You'll find out during your little spy mission."

Hela grinned as she took a step closer to him. Her hands held together behind her back as she leaned in. "I...have not had this much fun in long, long time."

"Glad I could to help," Naruto replied as the two stared at each other. Two stared at each, none of them backing down.

"And just what is going on here?" Naruto and Hela broke eye contact as they turned to the voice.

Annabeth was glaring at them.

"I asked a question, Daddy." She pressed. "And who are you?"

"Daddy? Sounds kinky!" Hela laughed at the blushing face of Annabeth.

"What do you expect, Annie's been in love with me since she was a child." Naruto added in his two cents. "She'd shout to the world about how she was going to marry me."

"Daddy!" Annabeth's blush went atomic as she stomped away from further embarrassment. "I'll be in the car" she said with Percy and Grover following suit.

"Shall we?" Naruto asked as held out his hand for her.

"With pleasure," Hela answered as she took his hand.

Mount Olympus

"Just what are you planning, Demeter." Zeus was a proud king, everyone knew it and most of all he did to. He always ruled with an iron but arrogant fist. But he made sure to stay clear of some. As proud as he was, the king knew he wasn't the strongest among the twelve. He was on top five but not number one! Number one was...Hera. Hera was every bit their mother and more! That's why when he saved her and she looked at him with those eyes of adoration. He took action! Let it be know that Zeus did not win the war alone. He had genus generals, that had used him and his two brothers.

Let it be known, Zeus was not afraid of Demeter.

He was weary of the crazy bitch.

Demeter who was seated on her bed smiled sweetly. "Well revenge," she said.

"So you're not even going to deny..." Zeus said, shocked at her.

"Why bother, you wanted answers right? That's why you came." She raised a brow. "Or did you want some of this..." She gestured to herself.

"...No," Zeus maybe a horn dog but he learnt his lesson the first time. Never stick your dick in crazy. "I want to know why you are doing this..."

"Revenge," Demeter said as she got up from her bed. Her face a mask of calm. "You...hurt someone very dear to me."

"I did no such thing!" Zeus yelled in rage. "You dare accuse me!"

Her calm mask slipped off as she glared at him. "You struck my son with a lightning bolt! I have half a mind to kick your ass right now!"

"I...I did no-" Lightning covered his body as the king moved back in a blue of speed. A second later the spot he once stood in thick sharp wooden Stakes shot out of the ground.

"What is wrong with you!" Zeus yelled with wide eyes. "Have you truly gone mad!"

"You think I am going to let you get away with almost murdering my baby boy!" Demeter had a look of hatred as she glared at him. "Pay back is bitch brother and she always collects."

Seeing the demented look on Demeter's face Zeus wisely teleported his way out.

Hela groaned as she rubbed her aching head. "I know it's my first time on quest but must you argue like a bunch of brats!" she hissed. The quest was currently been escorted to a near by bus stop by a creation she knew to be of Athena. It has her eyes after all. In an Average Van .Naruto sat in the front while she sat in the back with the goat of a boy and an arguing due. "So what if your parents hate each other. Does that mean you must repeat history?!"

Naruto from his place in the front chuckled. "Sucks to be you," he said.

"Hush you!"

Naruto then turned to the smiling driver. "So you have eyes, everywhere?"

Argus nodded.

"I see, so do you like have some...down there? Cause it be cool to see the inside of a-"

"Daddy you perv!"

After a while the group got into the city but due to traffic they got held up.

By the time they got to Manhattan, it was now sunset and began to rain slightly.

They eventually reached their destination and the group of four unloaded out the van at Greyhound station on the Upper East Side.

Once that was done Argus was off and the group waited in silence. Naruto who seated next to Hela stared off into the distance...

"You should be grateful, Percy." He heard Grover say. "Your stepfather smells so repulsively human he could mask the presence of any demigod. As soon as I took a whiff inside his Camaro, I knew: Gabe has been covering your scent for years. If you hadn't lived with him every summer, you probably would've been found by monsters a long time ago. Your mom stayed with him to protect you."

"Your mom is a great woman Percy. Never ever forget that. People like your mom don't come around often. You don't know how lucky you were to have a childhood with your parent."

"So that's why..." Naruto muttered to himself.

"What's What?" Hela perked up next to him.

"A few years back I asked Sally to come leave with me. God knows she needed the money, but she refused. So I did the next best thing, I secretly paid for Percy's school fees." Naruto said.

"Y-You did What?" Percy had heard what Naruto said and was greatly surprised.

"Your Mother worked at a candy store. You honestly think she covered all your expenses." Naruto snorted. "Plus it didn't help you kept on switching schools.'

Percy stayed silent as he clinched his fist. His mother was truly was an angel sent from above. From what he had heard Naruto was very rich and well off. He could've easily given her a great life but she chose not to. Instead she stayed and endured abuse from Gabe just for him.

"We are going to get her back kid," Naruto said. "Even if it kills us."

"Oh," Hela smirked. "And of the bolt? What if you're in a situation where you have to choose between the bolt or Sally Jackson.

"Sally," Naruto answered. "If this bolt was such a big deal the owner would've come down to look for it personally. Also can't he like make another one?"

Hela remained silent for a long time before she burst out laughing. "Haha you are a very interesting man, Naruto Uzumaki." She said.

"I...um aim to please," Naruto said a bit confused.

After a while the kids begun playing with an Apple while Heal and Naruto watched them in silence. Though the game ended when Grover ate the apple. It was then Annabeth walked up to Naruto.

"Da-Father do you mind getting us some food and supplies." Annabeth said though for some reason she wasn't keeping eye contact.

Naruto stared at her for a minute before sighing and grabbing Hela by the arm. "Mind escorting me?"

"...Not at all."

The two dashed towards the minimart across the street. Upon entering Naruto shock his head, getting rid of the water in his hair. He turned to Hela, the girl didn't look like someone who ran through the rain. She flashed him a grin and he sighed. Giving the woman at the counter a smile he and Hela went to pick out random junk food.

"You daughter is a every bit her mother," Hela said as the two walked. "You should be proud."

"I am," Naruto said, sighing at the end. "But I don't think she knows that. She's trying to prove something to someone. That she doesn't need my help."

"Just so we are on the same page. They've left us you know..."

Naruto nodded. "I know." He said. "She was staring at her watch a lot, the bus is arrived as soon as we crossed the street."

"Clever girl..."

Once the two got some good and drinks they went outside.

"Now What?" Hela asked as she looked around. "The next bus is probably hours away."

"I know," Naruto said calmly as he walked, Hela following behind him. "That's why I arranged for us a ride."

"So you knew Annabeth would do something like this," Hela said as the walked. 'You keep on surprising."

"Actually I didn't see it coming." Naruto smiled at Hela's reaction.

"You keep on surprising." Hela deadpanned.

"Honestly I'm out of my element here." Naruto said as they turned a corner. "So I just came up with a lot of plans..."

"Hoping that one your plans actually works," Hela finished. A bit shocked that on the inside Naruto was actually making plans. "So where we heading?"

"Right here," two stopped at what looked like a car dealership.

"We are renting a vehicle?" Hela asked confused as she looked at the many different cars parked.

"Not entirely," Naruto muttered as he walked towards a specific car.

Hela walked behind silently. 'What are you up to Naruto?'

"Presenting," Naruto gestured towards an orange Lamborghini Gallardo. "My baby!"

Hela stared at the car with wide eyes before they narrowed and turned to Naruto. "You said you didn't know Annabeth would betray you, yet when we need a very fast vehicle you just happened to have hidden one nearby. What a coincidence..."

Naruto snorted. "This is pure coincidence," he said as he put his thumb over the key hole (of the driver's seat door ) A few seconds past before the key hole glowed a faint blue and the car door opened. "I've put different modes of transportation in all the places we were supposed to stop at." Naruto got into the car with Hela doing the same( passenger seat).

"Do we even know were the bus is going?" Hela asked as Naruto pushed a button and the car roared to life. This seemed to surprise Hela as she stared at the button. "I...I thought you needed keys to start vehicles?"

Naruto just shrugged. "We just follow the bus, we know where it's headed. Also, seat belt."

Hela fastened her seat belt quickly. The smile Naruto was currently spotting scared her a bit.

"Hold on!" with that Naruto punched the gas and the car was off.

...

"Wow!" Hela could have sworn the vehicle was not moving but the blurring outside world said other wise. She couldn't feel a thing! The only other indicator that she was in a vehicle was when it jerked a bit when Naruto dodged cars. It also impressed her how he was able to see where he was going, all she could see was blur. "Mortals have come a long way..." She muttered.

Soon enough they caught up to the bus. But something was off. The bus was swerving side to side.

"Shit!" Naruto cursed as he stayed at a distance from the out of control bus. "Annie..." He whispered.

Hela stared at Naruto from the corner of her eye. His grip on the steering wheel tightening every second, his eyes following the motions of the bus and teeth grinding against each other. For a split second Hela was reminded of a man she had fallen for a long , long time ago. 'He had the same look of anger. Raging but knowing you can't do anything.'

Suddenly the bus came to a screeching halt and due to its size it pulled a 180. Naruto did the same as he stopped his car. Without even waiting for Hela Naruto got out of his car and run towards the bus.

"Naruto wait!" Hela cried as she got out as well. The blonde ignored her as wave through the people that begun to pile out of the bus.

"Hey have you seen to three kids, two boys and little blonde girl!?" Naruto asked a random stranger from the bus.

"N-No!"

He pushed that one away and turned to a thirty something year old woman. "Have you seen a little blonde girl with grey eyes!"

"S-she the one with two other boys?"

"Yes!" Naruto's said without hesitating.

"They were seated at the back. They might be the last ones to come out!" she said. With our thinking Naruto grabbed the woman's head brought her in for a kiss.

"Thank you!" once the kiss was over Naruto ran to wards the bus. Only to see his daughter, Percy and Grover running out of the bus and towards him. "Annie-"

"Daddy run!" Annabeth screamed as she run at him. Grabbing him by the hand she quickly begun dragging him away. "We Have to run!"

"What's go-" KRAKOOM!

That s when the thunder cracked and lightning hit the bus.

BOOM!

The explosion almost sent Naruto flying, but he stood his ground and held Annabeth tightly. The people around panicked and ran away screaming. Naruto let Annabeth goat he looked at the burning bus, only for his eyes to widen. A giant bat lady was flying away from the bus.

Naruto had one thing, and only one thing to say. "B-Batman?"

'She's going for reinforcements we have to go!" Annabeth yelled to her father who seemed to be in shock. "Our location was compromised, let's head for the forest!"

Naruto gulped as he nodded. He let Annabeth drag him away as Percy, Grover and Hela followed behind.

...

And now we find Annabeth, Naruto, Percy, Grover and Hela walking along the New Jersey riverbank which went through the forest they were currently in hiking in.

Naruto had a blank look as he walked, this didn't go unnoticed.

Hela made her way towards Annabeth who was at the front. "Hey," she said.

"Hey," Annabeth replied, a bit surprised.

The two walked in silence before Hela spoke up. "What you did was foolish and you should apologize." Hela blankly said.

"I...I know," Annabeth said as she glanced back. "But we don't have time for that. And who the Hades are you? I've never seen you at camp before and you just showed up out of-"

"Silence girl!" Hela hissed as she stopped and grabbed Annabeth by her jacket. How would you feel if you saw someone you love almost die! He hasn't said a single word all this time and you have the nerve to say you don't have the time."

"Let me!" Annabeth said as she tried to fight Hela's unusually strong grip.

"A few days ago, he knew nothing of our world. And him seeing just how dangerous it is for his daughter," Hela gestured to the blank faced Naruto. "That can change a man."

Annabeth bit her lip as she glanced back to her father. He really wasn't acting like himself. With a sigh, she slowly walked back. Ignoring the looks from Percy and Grover she made her way towards her father.

"Hey Daddy," she said, now next to him. "Umm..."

"You know," Naruto begun. "I had Sally in my hands and boom she wasn't There. Lightning bolt hits me and I lose her. It's like every time I'm hit with a lightning bolt someone close to me gets taken away. And now, now my daughter disobeyed me. Running away in a bus that got hit by a lightning bolt. Imagine if I was on that bus, I wonder who would've been taken away?" her father suddenly gave a grin. "Do you know who would've been taken?"

Annabeth remained silent.

"Since you don't know, maybe let's ask the Bastard that keeps throwing lightning at us!" Naruto said happily, his once blue eyes were now a blood red.

"Daddy maybe you shouldn't-"

Naruto wasn't having any of that. "Hey, Hey mongrel! Zeus you mongrel! Can you here me!"

"Daddy please stop!" Annabeth yelled as she grabbed him by the arm. "It's not funny!"

"But it is! It's so funny!" Naruto laughed. "We are here trying to find the god of lightning's lightning bolt. Can't he make a new one? I mean he is the god of lightning. I mean he dropped one less than an hour ago!"

Annabeth now had tears in her eyes. "I-If this is punishment then I've learnt my lesson! I won't trick you ever again!" Annabeth cried.

"All sweet daughter, it's not about you." Naruto said as he wiped her tears. "It's about the asshole, THAT KEEPS HITTING PEOPLE WITH LIGHTNING BOLTS!"

"Daddy please!" Annabeth begged. "He'll kill you."

"With What? A bolt of lightning!" Naruto laughed. "He tried that once! Maybe you should up the voltage you bitch ass king!"

"Daddy!"

From the side Grover, Hela and Percy watched. Grover was sweating buckets, Hela looked focused and Percy was just confused.

"Zeus should've done something by now!" Hela thought. 'Which means...Demeter!' she realized.

...

Mount Olympus

Seated on his throne, Zeus's eye twitched as he endured insult after insult from the demigod son of Demeter. Normally he would have done something but...

"Do it! I. Dare. You. BITCH!"

That. Demeter was staring at him with crimson red eyes he honesty didn't know she had.

...

..

"You can come after me all you like, but next time you endanger my little girl I will make you Fade!"

Mount Olympus

"So...you gonna do something? Thunder bitch." Seated on his armrest Demeter said as she sipped from her goblet of wine.

"...No," Zeus said through gritted teeth.

"Good," she drank from her goblet. "Be a good boy and take it like a bitch you are."

Naruto was breathing heavily after his rant. His eyes flashing between red and blue.

Annabeth sat nest to him, eyes red from crying. After a few minutes of silence she spoke up. "Daddy I'm sorry for what did. It was foolish and stupid."

"It's not you Annie," Naruto said, his eyes finally settling on blue. "This whole thing is fucked up. I had made hundreds of contingency plans and they all went into the water. You almost died, twice thanks to some moron with power.

"Know but daddy you shouldn't say staff like that," Annabeth said. "H-He might hear you and..."

"If it was me I wouldn't gave two shits, but they dragged you into this." A dark look crossed his face. "That I can not let go."

Annabeth just kept quiet. Her father deserved to be angry. 'Let's just hope he takes the reason for Artemis's leaving well...' at the thought of the goddess of the hunt Her face darkened. After all he beat himself up for her leaving him when in reality he was innocent. She knew it, but instead of doing something about it she let him suffer.

As the scary blondes remained in their thoughts. The trio of Grover, Hela and Percy watched them.

"I'm I the only one who finds them scary right now?"

Percy shook his head no with Hela replying. "No young Satyr." While thinking. 'It's like staring at Demeter and Persephone.'

SO...THIS IS NOT WHAT I PROMISED. But to be honest I kinda got held up. So this chapter is short and I'm sorry for that. But please be aware that reality is a fickle thing, you can plan but it won't always go as planned.

So in this chapter we see Naruto finally realising that basically all demigods are the gods play things. Why else would the they have so many children that are practically in the same age group

I also wanted to show that Naruto while super intelligent is not a god. To humans his powerful but...to the gods? No one matters but them. Anyway please review!
