A/N: Here we are. Sorry for the long long delay on posting this. I really hope you enjoy this and the next chapter. Because these are the end. I can't believe its almost over and that's maybe why I kept putting it off. I wanted to hold on to Darcy for as long as I possibly could. She has been one of my favorite characters I have ever written. I'm so happy that a lot of you has said she's your favorite Gossip Girl OC. I hope she is for a long time

Deal with The Devil
Darcy walked into the kitchen and put her arms around Chuck's shoulders while he sat at the counter. She kissed his cheek.
"Morning Husband of mine" she said.
"Morning beautiful" he replied turning to her.
"Any luck?" she asked taking a seat and noticing all these papers on the counter.
"None" he replied then grabbed her hand. "Happy Birthday beautiful"
"Thank You"
"Dinner tonight. I can make reservations at that restaurant you love"
"We can't" she replied spotting the paper with Bart's picture on the front. "We have the Man of the Year event to attend"
"We don't have to go to that."
"Bass"
"Ellis, it's honoring my father and I would rather spend my evening celebrating you"
"And as much as I would enjoy that we just can't. We have to attend the event. We were invited." She said then kissed him.
"Anyone home!?" they heard Blair shout.
"In the Kitchen!" Darcy shouted back.
"Good Morning Basses" Blair said.
"Why are you here?" Chuck asked.
"You didn't tell him?"
"Blair is taking me shopping. For my birthday. She wasn't sure what to get me."
"Okay"
"And Mama needs a new dress"
"Oh speaking of shopping. I wanna throw you a baby shower. What's a good day"
"How about we discuss that while were shopping" Darcy said standing up.
"Is that stupid Gala thing tonight?" Blair said noticing the paper.
"Yeah and we are going" Chuck said looking at Darcy.
"Bass" Darcy replied.
"But wouldn't a birthday dinner sound better. I can plan something very fast, you know." Blair replied.
"I told her the same thing"
"He doesn't even deserve it"
"And I agree to that" Darcy said "In fact I hate that man so much"
"Which you've confessed that many times before" Chuck said and it clicked. He kissed Darcy. "You're a genius"
"Yes?" Darcy questioned "But why?"
Blair looked between the two of them very confused.
"A confession" he replied.
"Confession for what?" Blair asked.
"Oh my god yes!" Darcy said but then thought of Lily "Oh but Bass, that would put Lily in danger."
"Crap, you're right"
"Now I'm caught up" Blair said and they both looked at her. "What? Whatever it is I wanna help"
Darcy smiled as her phone rang and her dad's name popped up.
"Ivy" Darcy replied to Chuck then answered her phone. "Hey Dad. Sorry you couldn't make it to thanksgiving"
"Darcy"
"A phone call would have been nice."
"Darc, I'm sorry okay"
"You're lucky that it's my birthday"
"Happy Birthday sweetheart." He replied "Are you free for lunch?"
"That would actually be great" she said "I'll see you soon then."
She hung up the phone and looked at Chuck. He kissed her then took off.
"What does Ivy have to do with Chuck's plan?"
"She's the only other person that Bart knows having the records. As far as he is concerned she could have looked at them." Darcy replied "Also Blair I'm so sorry I am gonna have to cancel. I'm having lunch with my dad. As for the baby shower, we still have a like a month or so."
"Then we will discuss that another time"
"How about Lunch tomorrow? Maybe we can convince Serena to come"
"I'll go talk to her now" Blair said.
"Yes" Darcy said "Try to see if she has heard from Ivy. Incase Bass hasn't had any luck contacting her."
"On my way"
"Thank you Blair. You've been a huge help to me at least"
"You had my back when I lost my baby. I'll be there for you and yours"
Darcy arrived at a restaurant and spotted her dad. She walked over and he stood up and hugged her. He looked at her. It had been a few months since he had seen her last.
"Look at my daughter. You look amazing"
"Well pregnancy does look good on me" she smiled.
"It does indeed."
"I seriously can't wait to meet this little girl."
"Me as well." Her dad said "Have you picked out a middle name?"
"No were still so torn. So far it's Olivia Ellis-Bass"
"Ellis as a middle name isn't bad"
"We're hyphening the last name"
"Didn't you say something about Chuck's mom?"
"Olivia Beth, or Olivia Elizabeth just doesn't seem right. It will come to me I know it will and when it does I know it will be the perfect middle name"
"So other than baby news how is everything. You know with Bart?"
"Dad?"
"I'm curious"
"Because of Lily? You'll be happy to know that she is on a spa retreat. Getting away from Bart."
"Interesting"
"How's Ivy?"
"Darcy" he said but his face changed. "What's going on over there?"
Darcy turned and looked out the window. She spotted Nate being arrested.
"Oh my god!" she got up and ran outside and across the street and straight toward Chuck "What happened?"
He hung up the phone and turned to her. He grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the group.
"My lawyers are doing everything in their power to have him released as soon as possible" he said to them.
"Bass?" she questioned still confused on what was happening.
"Bart" he replied pulling her close and kissing the top of her head.
"He obviously figured out Nate was playing him" Serena said.
"Then used him as his goat" Blair replied.
"Am I the only one who didn't study Byzantine warfare" Ivy said and Darcy glanced at Blair and smiled at her.
"He thinks having Nate arrested will force me to go to him and make a deal."
"Bass" Darcy said looking at him.
"I'm not about to let Olivia's godfather rot in jail"
"But we also can't make a deal with the devil"
"Darc is right." Serena said.
"I don't know what else to do"
"Then let me go with. We can confront him together."
"No stress is bad for the baby"
"I'm fine Bass"
"Then Serena will go with you guys. Keep Darcy grounded" Blair said
"Yeah" Serena agreed.
"What are you gonna do?" Darcy asked curious.
"I'll think of something" Blair said looking at Ivy.
They arrived at the apartment to see Bart talking to Dan.
"Now if you'll excuse me. I have some family business to attend to" Bart replied. "But I look forward to working with you"
Bart headed upstairs. Chuck and Darcy followed him. They arrived in the office and Bart turned to Darcy.
"I think this conversation should be between just the two of us"
"You mean just you men" Darcy commented.
Chuck turned to her and grabbed both her hands in his and looked at her.
"I can handle him. You should go back downstairs. I promise you that whatever is said in this room I will tell you"
She kissed him then headed back downstairs.
"I take it that it didn't go so well" Serena said.
"I was sent back down" she replied.
"I'm sorry sis"
"What a birthday" she replied.
"Let's go" Serena said grabbing her hand.
Serena took her to a bakery down the street and they just hung out there. Serena trying her best to keep her sister grounded.
Moments later Darcy got a text.
Bass: Meet me at home.
She arrived at the Empire and went into the bedroom to see Chuck packing.
"Are we going on a trip?" she asked
"Ellis" he said turning to her.
"Bass. Are we going on a trip?"
"Not we" he replied and she walked over to the suitcase and began taking things back out.
"Whatever you promised to him, you're not going through with it" she said.
"Ellis" he said grabbing her hand and pulling her to him while he sat on the bed.
"You're not leaving unless I'm going to"
"That wasn't the deal"
"I don't care Bass"
"He threatened you, he threatened our daughter. I have to go. For her"
"I won't let you. I forbid it" she said turning to walk away from him. He grabbed her hand.
"Darcinda Ellis Bass" he said and she looked at him "I love you so much and I promise that I am gonna find a way around this and come back to you. Nothing can separate us. Definitely not Bart Bass"
"Bass" she said crying.
"Don't cry" he said wiping her tears.
"I love you too" she said kissing him. They spent the next few minutes just being with each other.
Later that evening she arrived at the Gala solo. She really didn't want to go but she knew she had too. She had to give Bart Bass a piece of her mind for separating her family. She grabbed a water off a tray and spotted her sister.
"Hey" Serena said surprised to see her. "We um didn't think you were coming"
"We?" she asked.
"Blair and I" Serena responded. "You should know that Blair cooked up a plan. She wanted to help"
"Well she wouldn't be Blair if she didn't" Darcy said "I'll have to remember to thank her"
She felt a little cramp in her belly but smiled through the pain.
"You okay?" Serena asked definitely noticing.
"Baby kick" she lied.
"Serena, Darcy" Dan said walking over to them.
"Dan what are you doing here. Oh wait I forgot you're honoring your new mentor."
"I need to be anywhere but…" Darcy started.
"Darcy wait" Dan said grabbing her arm. She turned back to him.
"I'll see you later" Serena said walking away.
"What do you want Dan. I'm seriously not in the mood for…" she said and he handed her a note.
"A Henry Thomas told me to give this to you. He said he was an admirer of yours." he said and winked.
She smiled and grabbed the note. Dan walked away. She looked up and saw Bart talking to Ivy. She looked back at the note. Her name written on it in Chuck's handwriting. She smiled opening it.

She quickly folded the note up and tucked it in her purse. She wiped away a tear that had fallen and looked to see Bart and Blair talking then him dragging her. She walked over.
"Just the girl I was waiting for" Bart said "How's the hus…"
"And in other news a jet owned and operated by Bass Industries the G2 was reported missing off the Coast of Maine."
"Chuck?" Blair said grabbing Darcy's hand but Darcy just stared at Bart not blinking."
"The Coast Guard is investigating the area where the plane went off the radar after sending a mayday signal"
"I hope that wasn't the one he was on" Bart said and walked away.
Darcy felt another pain and grabbed her stomach.
"Ow" she cried out and Blair took her to a chair.
"What's going on?" Serena asked walking over.
"I'm. Fine." She said.
"No you are not. We need to get you to a hospital" Blair said.
"…Daniel Humphrey" They heard.
"Help me out there" Darcy said "I need to see this"
"Darcy" Blair said.
"Trust me. I need to see this. Dan gave me a note earlier. One from Chuck"
"Are you sure it wasn't from Bart?" Serena asked.
"It was to Sara from Henry" Darcy said.
They got her out into main area. Dan stood up at the podium.
"I would like to introduce an icon of New York Real Estate and A Pillar of our community. He is the Center of the Bass Family and he is a personal inspiration to me. Please welcome. Charles Bass"
Darcy smiled as her husband walked out. Dan walked there way and she felt Serena leave. She felt another pain.
"Okay Blair you're right. Hospital" she replied.
"Help me" Blair said to Dan and he came on the other side of her. They got her to the hospital. But Darcy couldn't focus. She needed her husband.
"I need Bass"
"We are trying to get hold of him" Blair said.
Try Harder" she shouted. Blair grabbed her hand and glanced at Dan. He nodded and left. Blair texted Serena, Lily and then William as Darcy fell asleep.
A/N: One maybe 2 more (Epilogue, still figuring out who I'm putting who with who for 5 years later) Hope you enjoyed. One of my favorite parts this chapter was Darcy and Blair so I hope you liked.
