"A New Visiter"
"Do you want to watch a movie?" Syaoran called out from the kitchen as he placed the last of the dishes in the dishwasher.
They had finished eating dinner half an hour ago and were just talking before he told her to go to the living room while he cleaned up really quick. She insisted on doing them, but he made her go to the living room to "wind down." She had still seemed a bit on edge about the mention of him not having a date on the reversal surgery yet.
He wished there was a way to make her understand that there was a lot going on at the hospital, amongst other things. He wanted to have kids with her when they reached that point in their relationship, but he wanted to make sure she lived through the first birth at least.
He already knew what the problem was though. She had not been on edge all night because of the surgery topic and kids. It was the man back at the mental hospital that had her on edge about everything. That did not sit right with him one bit, but he could not figure out what to do to fix it.
He thought that he had gotten rid of the man for good after they had that conversation back at the hospital. Now the man was following them. He had to get to the bottom of this before the man made an appearance in town because he knew he was coming back.
He was not sure if it would be a battle between him and the man for Sakura's affection, but he would be damned if he sat around and let the man win. He would get to the bottom of all of this tomorrow. He knew that something was up and there was someone behind all of this.
But who?
"One movie's fine because I have work in the morning and will have to head home," Sakura called out from the living room.
At the mention of her leaving, he frowned and then closed the dishwasher before heading to the living room. He saw her sitting on the couch, flipping through the channels on his tv. "You're not going to spend the night?" he asked in a disapproving tone. He had not planned that tonight.
"Nah, I'm just going to head home probably after the movie," she said nonchalantly as she trained her eyes on the tv.
"Why?" he asked, walking in front of the tv so she could focus on the conversation and not the screen.
"Can you not?" she asked, frowning at him.
"What's your problem, Sakura?" he asked. "Are you really still upset about the reversal? I said I'm going to get it still."
"When?" she asked, looking down so she did not have to look at him, it seemed.
He frowned at the gesture. "When are you ready to start having kids?" he asked seriously.
She looked up at him surprised; that seeming to get her attention. "What?"
"Are you ready to have kids now?" he asked instead.
"I-I…" she started, looking lost at what to say now.
"My thoughts exactly. You can't try and shut me out when you're not even ready to start having kids yet. If I say that I'm going to get the reversal, I'm going to get the reversal. We have way too much sex for me to even get the reversal right now, so if I get the reversal now, it probably won't be long before you're pregnant," he said.
"Protection…you know what that is, right?" she asked.
"Protection?"
"A condom," she said, folding her arms under her breast, hitching them up.
His eyes automatically landed on them. As usual, his body reacted to the sight, but he tried to ignore it. "I don't want to use a condom with you, of all people, baby. I love the intimacy…no barriers between us. I love that connection that we have when we have sex," he explained.
She sighed softly before looking away. "Okay…you're right, but I just…"
"You don't trust me, I know, you don't have to say it. How about this then…" he started, but stopped, waiting for her to look up at him. When she did, he continued, "You come to the hospital tomorrow, as soon as you can, and we get you tested to see if you have what your mother had. I'll take care of all the fees and expenses with the test. No matter the results, we'll set up a date for the reversal together and we can work something else out until we're ready to start having kids. Is this fair?"
She was quiet for a while before she let out a sigh and nodded her head. "Fine…no matter the results, you still get the surgery," she reiterated.
He smiled, walking over to her and stooping down to get on his knees in front of her so he could grab her hands. "I swear on my dead brother's grave that I will," he promised. "Can I see a real smile on your face now? And can I have a real kiss?"
A smile slowly crept to her lips, making him grin and lift up to press his lips against hers gently. He could feel all the blood rush to his loins when her lips responded to his. He pulled back, looking at her lustfully. "Am I still on probation?" he asked teasingly.
He knew that one of the reasons she had been acting stand-offish was because of his actions earlier that week. He knew not to blame her one bit though. He deserved no sex for the way he reacted.
"Unfortunately for me, yes, you are," she said.
He growled playfully before pushing her back on the couch so he could climb on top of her, trapping her body between his weight and the couch. "Are you sure?" he asked, looking down at her.
When her cheeks turned a rosy color, he smirked and reached down to grab the bottom of his T-shirt so he could slowly pull his shirt up his body. He could feel her eyes landing on his muscular torso, making him flex his muscles before he pulled the rest of his shirt off and threw it across the room.
He moved his hand down to his pants, unbuckling the top button before he stopped, looking at her stare at his pants to unleash the beast. "You didn't answer my question," he said, raising a brow at her with a smirk on his face. "You don't get a free striptease without giving answers."
She pursed her lips stubbornly and then covered her eyes, so she did not have to see him anymore.
He chuckled at her adorable behavior, leaning down to peck her lips. He climbed off her, pulling her to sit up with him, making her move her hands from her eyes.
"There's something I need to give you—actually, it was your Christmas gift, but so much was going on that I couldn't find the right time to give it to you," he said. "Sit here while I go and get it."
Before she could even respond, he was already heading to his room. When he reached his room, he looked around thoughtfully, trying to remember where he had left it. He walked to his nightstand, opening the drawer, happy to see the box placed there when they arrived home from Tokyo.
"Syaoran, don't…you don't have to give me anything. So much was going on at the time and I didn't even have time to get you anything…" he heard a voice at the entrance of his door.
He turned around, only to see Sakura standing at his door with a look of regret on her face. He grabbed the box out of the drawer before turning to her with the box in hand. "That doesn't matter to me. I got this for you because I wanted to; not because I expected a gift in return," he said, walking towards her at the entrance of the door.
"It's probably not much, but…I thought you'd really like it," he said, opening the box slowly to reveal the necklace he had spent over a million in yen on. It was a 1.75 carat diamond necklace that had split colors of blue and red meshed together. It was a simple two-colored diamond hanging from a chain, yet it was so elegant.
He had thought of getting her something more personal, confessing his love in the process of it, but knew that she was not ready for that. She would not even go on an official date with him yet, so confessing would just further push him back. So, he decided on getting her a custom-made necklace.
"S-so…the colors in the diamond signifies our signs…you're an Aries, while I'm a Cancer. We're complete opposites because you're fire and I'm water, which…probably explains why we butt heads so much, but I read somewhere that our signs help each other balance the other out, so it all works out," he explained nervously, hoping that she did not think that he was weird for doing that much research on them.
He was never one to believe in the astrology, but something made him look it up one day while they were split up at the time. It had been a great idea after all, considering it helped him understand why they always butt heads.
Her mouth opened before she shook her head slowly. "Syaoran, I…cannot take that. I'm sorry but it's too much—"
"You can," he stated, whether than asking. "You wouldn't dare go as far as rejecting a gift that took a lot of thought and time into buying…would you?' he asked the last part hesitantly. He did not know with Sakura sometimes.
"I…" she started.
He moved closer to her, grabbing her hand so he could place the box in it. When she accepted it, she looked down at the diamond, eyes watering at the glistening jewelry. She began to carefully take the necklace out of the box. "I-I don't know what to say. No one has ever given me a thought-out gift like this. I've never held anything this extravagant in my hands before either," she joked, making him chuckle at her statement. "Can I put it on?"
"Of course," he said, grinning at her. "Here, let me help you," he said, holding his hand out for her to give it to him.
She handed him the necklace, which he took carefully. "Turn around," he instructed.
She turned around for him, giving him a nice view of the back of her neck. He felt something stir in his pants at how delicate and soft the back of her neck looked. He had never paid attention to it until now, which was odd, considering he studied everything about her most times.
He shook his head, realizing him getting distracted from the task at hand. He unclasped the necklace before reaching his arms over her and resting the diamond on her chest. He clasped the necklace together and then rest his hands on her shoulders gently. He leaned down and kissed the back of her neck where the necklace connected.
She turned around so he could see her. His eyes fell on the diamond that glistened on her neck, making her neck look that much more elegant. "You look beautiful," he said, letting his eyes drift back up to hers.
Her cheeks reddened, making him lean down to close the gap between their lips for the umpteenth time that night. When her hands moved up to rest on his chest, he deepened the kiss, pushing her back on the door gently. His tongue slipped between her lips, grabbing her hands on his chest gently. He pulled back from the kiss a little, looking her in the eyes. "You know you can't touch me like that, or I won't stop," he said huskily against her lips as he closed his eyes tightly. He was using everything in his will to not attack the woman.
"Maybe you should've never taken your clothes off to tease me then," she said, smiling at him mischievously.
He chuckled, shaking his head as he rest his forehead against hers still. "You didn't give me much of a choice," he said, kissing her nose teasingly.
"Whatever…but, I really do appreciate the gift," she said, pulling her hands back from his so she could wrap her arms around his body tightly.
His heart skipped several beats in his chest, feeling the love from the simple and innocent act. He hugged her back, relishing in the love of a woman that he missed out on all his life. It felt a lot nicer than he thought it would. "We can scratch the movie and just lay in bed for the rest of the night unless you still have plans to leave tonight…" he trailed off in her hair.
She shook her head slowly. "I could stay the night…I'll just have to leave early in the morning—what time are you trying to set me up for an appointment tomorrow?"
"Whenever you can," he said.
"Okay," she said, releasing him.
"Let me get you something to wear to bed," he said, walking over to his dresser. He took out one of his T-shirts and tossed it to her, which she caught. "Could you do me one favor?"
"What is it?"
"Go outside of the room and change and turn the lights off so I can't see you when you finish changing," he said.
She giggled, shaking her head. "Alright. I'll go and turn the lights off then and come back in ready for bed," she said.
"Thank you," he said, winking at her.
When she left the room, he took his pants off, leaving himself in his boxers only and then got in the bed. He waited for her to come back in the room, closing his eyes so he would not have to see her in nothing but his shirt.
He wanted to do so much to her tonight, but knew that she would not comply unless he seduced her into it. Seduction was his expertise, but he felt that it would not be right tonight.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when he felt himself sinking into the bed slightly, causing his eyes to snap open, only to meet the darkness. He turned in the direction of the weight, seeing Sakura's shadow sit on the bed as she held a glass in her hand.
"What are you drinking?" he asked, letting his hand slide over to her legs so he could rub them gently. He had to close his eyes and think of something else, other than her smooth legs wrapped around him while he buried himself inside her.
"The rest of that wine…is that okay?" she asked uncertainly.
He nodded, moving closer to her so he could slide his hands up the shirt she has on, wrapping his arm around her small waist and resting his head on her thigh now. He breathed in her sweet scent and exhaled it silently. "Of course it is, as long as I get some," he said teasingly.
"You have to sit up," she said in an amusing tone.
"I can always have some another way," he said in a suggestive way, making her giggle.
"And how do you purpose that?" she asked, entertaining his thoughts a bit.
"Drink the rest of it," he demanded quietly.
She drank the rest of the wine from the glass before sitting the glass on the nightstand by the bed.
He let his hand slide further up her shirt to the small of her back as he lifted up a little. "Come here," he said in a husky tone.
She giggled and then leaned down, closing the gap between their lips. His tongue swiped across her lips immediately tasting the bitter, sweet taste of the wine before he slipped his tongue past her parted lips. He let his tongue trace every inch it could reach in her mouth, forgetting about the taste of wine as he began to enjoy the taste and feel of her mouth on his.
When her tongue started battling with his, he sat up a little more so he could push her down on the bed to dominate the kiss. She moaned in his mouth in protest a little, putting her hand on his chest lightly.
He pulled back from her lips a little, looking her in the eyes seriously. "You want me to stop?" he asked, letting his hand move down her body to her ass. He squeezed the soft flesh a little hard before massaging it gently.
Her chest rose up and down a little fast as she panted quietly from the intense, short make-out session. When she did not say anything, he moved back from her more, but kept a hold of her. "We don't have to do anything, baby. Don't feel pressured to just because I want to," he said softly, moving his other hand up to caress her face gently.
She smiled at him a little, making his eyes land on her lips. "Could you just hold me tonight?" she asked timidly.
He kissed her nose and then smiled at her. "I would be more than pleased to," he said, laying on his side of the bed. He turned to her as she turned over on her side so he could spoon her. He wrapped his arm around her body, pulling her closer to him.
They fell into a comfortable silence, making him wonder if she had fallen asleep. After five minutes passed between them, he decided to speak, "Sakura?" he called.
Her breathing had slowed down and her body was more relaxed. She was sleep.
He smiled, kissing the back of her head. "Wo ai ni," he whispered in Chinese before closing his eyes.
"So, that bastard is getting out, huh?" Syaoran asked, sitting in the chair at the desk in his office.
"She told you?" Akinari asked, sitting on the couch in his office.
Syaoran had called him to come in to figure out what was going on and why the man was getting out of the hospital.
"Of course she told me. You know something, don't you? Was this your idea? Because if it was, you're going to be kissing your job goodbye," Syaoran threatened dangerously.
Akinari held up a hand in defense. "Woah, woah, woah. This has nothing to do with me, I swear. I just got a call from him the other day. All he told me was…he's ready to get his life back on track and—"
"Back on track, as in…back to how things were?" Syaoran asked, clenching his fists under the desk.
"I…wish I could tell you, but I really can't. I really don't know anything just like you don't," Akinari said.
Syaoran stared at him hard, hoping to find some kind of lie in his posture. "If I find out you know anything…I mean, anything, you will regret it," he said seriously.
Akinari sighed, running a hand through his dark hair. "Why do I have to be the one to get shit all the time?" he asked in a frustrated tone.
"Because you decided that you wanted to be involved with my woman," Syaoran said, glaring at him. That idea would never grow on him no matter what anyone told him about it.
He did not believe in a man being best friends with his woman. He was the only man she should need. It would be different if the guy were just a regular guy that she had known and acquainted herself with from time to time, but they were different. They were best friends who talked every single day.
"I don't want to pick this fight with you, but if you're going to arrogantly keep throwing that in my face, you should know that I was here before you. I wish no ill-will on your future with Sakura, but if you leave, I will still be here," Akinari said calmly.
Syaoran stood from the desk angrily, shocked by that statement. "What are your motives with Sakura? You're really just giving me more reasons not to trust your ass," he said, raising his voice a little.
It was official, he could never be friends with this man. He could never cooperate or co-exist with him while being with Sakura. He had to get rid of him.
"I want nothing but the best for Sakura. No, I am not trying to be with her romantically. I've had that opportunity multiple times—"
"Out," Syaoran interrupted tightly, feeling the jealousy rise in his chest at that reminder. He did not need to be reminded that they were almost once upon a time again.
"Dr. Li—"
"Get the fuck out of my office!" he bellowed again, pointing to the door.
Akinari sighed, standing from the couch, walking to the door. "I really wish you could see that I'm not the enemy here," he said before walking out of the office, closing the door behind him, not letting Syaoran respond.
Syaoran stared at the door, glaring at the place the man had just been in, thinking about tearing him into bits of pieces. Now he felt like he could not trust Akinari at all anymore.
Eichii and Akinari were now on his top list of hated people. He wanted to rationalize that he could like the man, even just for a little bit, but he knew that was impossible. It was not possible to like a man who acted that friendly with his girl.
Since Akinari did not have the answers to why Eichii was trying to come back, he would just have to go to the source himself. If he did not find these answers, it would drive him insane like most things.
He had to protect Sakura.
Syaoran picked up his phone, going to the familiar number he had used a few weeks ago. He pressed the number and put the phone to his ear, listening to it ring.
"Tokyo Metropolitan Matsuzawa Hospital, this is Manaki speaking, how may I help you?" he heard a woman over the phone.
"Ah, yes. This is Li Syaoran speaking, from Tomoeda Central Hospital. How are you today?" Syaoran said formally, sitting back down in his chair.
"Dr. Li? Is everything alright?" the woman on the phone asked worriedly.
"Of course. I'm just calling in regards to one of your patients I did a surgery on some years ago—Kobayashi Eichii, I believe? I actually paid him a visit a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering if he had the privilege of getting phone calls?" he asked.
"Actually, Dr. Li…that patient was released a few days ago. He's been perfectly capable of leaving for the past two years or so, but decided to stay here on his own. He wanted to be discharged, so he had a few sessions with a psychologist and was deemed sane enough to join society again, so we no longer hold him anymore," the woman explained on the phone.
Syaoran froze, not believing what his ears had just heard. "O…kay. Thank you," he said, ending the call before the woman could even say anything else.
For some reason, he could feel his anxiety rise at the thought of the man being out of the hospital already, not knowing where he could be. That meant that Sakura could run into him at any time. He did not know if the man decided to stay in Tokyo or if he came to Tomoeda to see Sakura again.
What would happen if they met up without him being around? Sakura had told him to trust her, which he really was trying. He knew that Sakura was not like the woman who gave birth to him. He knew that she would not choose another person over him, but the more he thought about it, the more he feared he might just be wrong.
He felt even more terrified at the thought of what happened last week when he freaked out after finding out that Sakura and Akinari had almost been once upon a time. He was scared that she might hold him to that and want to be with a person who would not act like that; that she might want to be with a person with a less complicated past.
Sakura could do so much better than him and that is what scared him the most.
The man was already out…
His pager went off, distracting him from the awful thoughts and emotions he was feeling about all of this. He already knew what it was in regards to; the trial that was nearly impossible to forget about.
He really wished he could put all of this on hold to fix everything in his personal life first, but knew that was impossible, being a doctor.
Sakura looked through Syaoran's charts, trying to figure out what would be okay to show Akinari if she did give Syaoran to him as his patient. They never agreed on this yet, but she did not know anyone else that she could trust with his information.
She really wished that Syaoran could understand that, but knew deep down inside that he never would. He would not be able to look past her history and current relationship status with Akinari. She completely understood why he would not, but if he would just see how much she was willing to make this work, it would make matters better.
'Abandoned by mother because of post-partum and depression from loss of his twin'
'insecure because he's never felt truly loved and accepted'
'uses sex to fill the void of—'
She shook her head, throwing the papers down on her desk in frustration. There was no way that she could share this private, vulnerable Syaoran with anyone else. Syaoran would never feel comfortable with being this vulnerable with anyone else, and nor would she feel comfortable with him doing that.
She had to think of something else.
Like what?
A knock on her door interrupted her thoughts and stress, making her stand from the chair. She grabbed his charts off the desk and threw them on the floor behind her desk. She even felt paranoid that someone might see them one day.
She walked to the door, opening it for the person knocking on the door with a smile on her face. As soon as she saw who the person was, her smile faltered, shocked to see the last person that she thought she would see today.
Blonde hair and blue eyes that used to have her mesmerized at any given time. Back when she was young and dumb in love.
She swallowed the lump in her throat, shaking her head slowly before she used everything in her power to force a smile on her face. "W-what…are you doing here? Why are…you in Tomoeda, of all places?" she asked, not caring that her questions came off as her not wanting him here.
The man chuckled, scratching the back of his head nervously. "Bad idea to come here, huh?" he said shyly.
She shook her head, stepping to the side, not knowing what else to do about it. "C-come in, I guess?" she suggested, unsure herself about all of this.
"Are you sure? There aren't any wolves inside, right?" he asked teasingly.
She had to bite back the giggle at his smart remarks, not wanting him to think that this was okay. This was definitely not okay. Not with her, and it most definitely would not be okay with Syaoran.
Crap, Syaoran.
"No wolves," she said instead.
He walked inside slowly. She looked outside her practice to make sure that no one had seen him come inside. She did not need this getting back to Syaoran before she could tell him.
"I didn't know you were getting out so soon. I heard from Aki yesterday that you were planning to, but I didn't know that you had already gotten discharged," she said awkwardly. "You can have a seat over here," she pointed to the couch.
He sighed, walking over to the couch so he could sit down. She thought it would be best for her not to, just to be safe. "Yeah, I kind of told him the day I was actually getting out to see his reaction. It wasn't too negative, so I figured…maybe it wouldn't be too bad, you know? I missed my life and just needed the motivation to make that push to get back on track," he said, leaning his elbows on his thighs. "You aren't going to sit?"
She shook her head slowly. "I feel better standing right now. Was it the visit we made back in December?" she asked quietly.
"Partially. I had wanted to make that step years ago but never could find it in myself to do so. After you found out that I was still alive, I didn't feel so scared about it anymore," he said.
"Oh…" she said, nodding her head slowly.
An awkward silence followed that, making her chest begin to hurt with this all. She thought that she could handle this because she was over it, but the longer she stayed in his presence and talked with him, the more it hurt.
"Sakura—"
"I…please, just tell me why you're here," she nearly begged, not able to take it anymore. "What are your motives?"
He sighed. "Could you look at me?" he asked.
She shook her head. "I…would prefer not to, but I can," she said softly.
"Please do then," he said in a tone that reminded her of the times he would make her do things. Or maybe it was just all in her imagination.
She looked at him, nonetheless, not wanting to test him like she used to sometimes. Granted, she did not think he was the same man, but she would be a fool to trust him ever again.
When their eyes locked, she could feel the anxiety rise in her chest up to her throat. "I'm not here to ruin your life any more than I already have. I just wanted to apologize again for everything that I've put you through," he said softly.
"You already did that back at the hospital," she said quietly, hearing her voice crack a bit.
"I know. It just feels like I could never apologize enough for what I've done," he said sadly. "I just don't want to know that you'll go through the same thing again with another person."
Sakura frowned, knowing exactly who he was referring to right now. "You don't know Syaoran," she said softly. "Yes, he was a man-whore sleeping around with women around the town, but he's never done anything that's made me fear my life. I thought I made that clear."
"I thought you did too, so that's why I felt surprised to receive a phone call saying…otherwise," he said quietly. "I just wanted to warn you to be careful, is all. I heard that he also has a temper on him."
"A phone call? From whom? Syaoran has never done anything like that to me before. Who was the phone call from?" she asked, frowning at this new-found information.
Eichii shrugged. "I don't know. And it doesn't matter, really. I just want you to be careful and safe—"
"And you being here is safe for me?" she snapped without thinking, still feeing upset about what he had told her earlier.
She was getting sick and tired of this small town and the drama. Ever since she had been involved with Syaoran, her life had become a whirl wind with the town.
She wanted out of here at this point.
He was quiet for a moment before he released a sigh. "You're right, Sakura. I shouldn't have come here today. I really just wanted to see you to make sure you're alright—"
"I am, okay? You being here makes me…less okay because…I don't trust you here with me alone," she said honestly.
"Sakura…" he called sadly. "I would never, ever hurt you—"
"Yeah, that's what you said before you'd hurt me all the time," she said, wrapping her arms around herself in a manner to comfort herself.
"When I was stupid and out of control. I'm not like that anymore though," he said. "And nor am I asking you to…forgive me and give me another chance. I just want you to know that I care about you."
He stood up from the couch, walking towards her desk. He picked up a pen and grabbed one of the blank sheets on her desk. He scrabbled something down on the paper that she could not see. "I won't stick around here long, but…won't be too far from here if you ever want to talk again about anything," Eichii said. He turned to her with the paper in hand, handing it to her. "My number if you ever feel down to talk while not being in distressed about it."
Without thinking, she took the paper from him with a frown on her face. "Where are you going?" she found herself asking.
"Just another small town south of here. It's not too far from here, but I figured Tomoeda is the last place that you'd want me to be in since you moved here to get away from it all," he said.
She pursed her lips at the joking tone he used. "I didn't move here to get away from you. I moved here to have a fresh start," she corrected.
He smiled, shaking his head. "That's fair. I'm glad I wasn't that bad then."
"Hmm," she said shortly.
"I'm really proud of you with your progress in all…this place looks really nice. I'm glad you were able to open your own practice," he said proudly.
She chose not to say anything, not trusting her own voice right now.
When she did not say anything, he continued, "I'll head out though. It was really great seeing you again," he said, smiling at her charmingly.
She could feel her cheeks warm at the look he used to give her all the time. "Oh, stop it and get out," she chastised softly.
He chuckled before heading towards the door with her. They bid each other goodbye and he left, leaving her alone to think about everything.
Eichii was out of the hospital a lot faster than she had wanted him to be. It was good that he was out, she reasoned, but she did not feel the least bit pleased that he had come here to see her. She did not want him thinking that it was okay to come here and talk with her. Especially about Syaoran.
Someone had gone to Eichii and told him something about Syaoran. For a moment, she thought to believe that this something that was said about Syaoran was true, but knew better than to. She knew there were people out to ruin Syaoran for everything he had done. Syaoran had done so much bad that she could not count on one hand. He had done wrong by her in the beginning of this all.
She liked to call this, "Karma at it's finest."
That did not mean that she would leave him in the end though. There is a such thing as second chances, and she wanted to give him that.
She walked to her desk to grab her phone and purse as she stuffed the paper inside of it that Eichii had given her with his name and number on it. She could not explain why she had not thrown it away in the trash bin here, but something told her not to here. She had to get rid of it some other place that no one could find it if they were looking for something. She had to get rid of it before Syaoran or anyone else saw it.
She looked at the time on her phone, seeing that it was almost time for her appointment that he had set up for her today.
She went to her text messages, clicking Syaoran's contact information. She typed out a quick message, letting him know that she would be there shortly.
She knew exactly what she would have to do when she got there. Syaoran had already told her that she could make all the calls and he would jump at her any demand. She just felt a little bad that people would possibly lose their job in the process of it.
She would not blame herself for their actions anymore though.
