A/N: The second half of the Poofball arc as we finally get our first boss battle. Enjoy.
7.5 Poofballteno: Part 2
As my mind came out of the moment, I could see guards now with spears pointed at my position. Gwanda stood by the throne in defense of the poofballest.
"Are you alright?" Stanron pondered while I nodded. "Your voice momentarily returned after I showed you the photograph, for some reason you kept complaining about a thing called Secret Life of Pets…"
My jaw flew open on that note. Of all the things to get my voice to come back it had to be that.
"You are the one…" Gwanda now waved the guards off as she came by my side.
"Gwanda he can't be, nobody has even gotten close to the Troll since the cataclysm. Even the divine turner barley held our lands together."
"You grace, its inevitable that the troll would finish what began a century ago. Maybe he is the one that can unite the sacred treasures."
"We have long guarded the stick of truth, and I'd sooner give up my throne then see our sacred protective symbol in the hands of this outsider."
Boy I wish I still had the vchip from the Canadian American war, because I have a few choice words for this stuck up cross dressing Stan. My growls were palpable, but the broad digresses as she got me to calm down.
"North of here, in a derelict temple, there lives a creature about as old and rundown as can be, yet we do believe he may be a relic of the world long gone, we call it PACNO…"
Gwanda now showed me what It looked like from their descriptive paintings.
"PACNO can be considered both unruly and defined as well. Any attempt to get near the creature results in outward changes to your appearance and demeanor. Our bravest soldiers who came across it, somehow returned not wanting anything to do other than artisanal gardening and scrapbook assembly. I mean seriously how PC is that…"
PC…You don't mean…
PACNO will be considered lethal if you remain with it too long.
She was right about that, his stupid policies caused a civil war in our very school. Wieners out still rings in my head. Gwanda now of course had the guards circle around with gear and armored me up with defenses.
"That armour is considered enchanted to the point of finding yourself not only quicker but lethal at any range. We also outfit you with the Spear of Marvinton."
I now see the familiar shape and colors of Stans grandpa embedded into a plastic and metallic looking spear. Somehow this looks nuts.
"Not too bad looking…"
I wrote down one note on a paper and handed it back to Gwanda, she looked at me a bit confused, but I smiled back letting her know my meaning.
"Turner be praised you are a perfect warrior."
Outfitting me with a horse of my own, Gwanda escorted me out of the city and sent me on a due north path for 8 miles. Until we came upon it.
"SODOSOPA, his lair…"
Kennys old house or what remains of it, decorated of course with the attempted building around it of a gentrification neighborhood. Thankfully Mr. Kim put an end to that. But in hindsight Kenny's family always ends up getting hosed severely by us.
"You'll find him dead center, his tactile duty has been to guard the stick of truth ever since it came into his possession. Countless have tried nearly all have been altered by coming into contact with him. But I have a feeling…"
She touched both the center of my vest and the tip of the spear in a show of support.
"…You may be the one who can take him out."
I nodded in gratitude all the while she suddenly noticed activity coming out of the front door.
"Crud…His sentries…"
Now I could see it as well, 5 small babies mutated by the land but still having his features, even some of another woman as well. PC Principal found love when I was off world it seemed.
The PC Babies circled each growling muttering to themselves. Gwanda now got my attention to the task ahead.
"I can take out the sentries, that will give you the opening to enter the temple."
I began to point out why couldn't she enter herself and I don't know if my skills at miming have been getting better, but she now tore off her shoulder pad to reveal a small brand mark with two familiar letters.
P and C
My jaw was wide as she put the pad back on.
"It was the poofballest herself that saved me from the creature 8 years ago, hence why I've never left her side. I owe her that much at least. Now go I believe you have a shindig to get to." I let out a ready nod as she turned to punch that timeclock of battle.
She let out a loud shriek throwing her spear at the oldest of the babies. Once my opening was in place I ran inside the temple gate. I don't know the true meaning of the word irony. Until I saw it.
A replica of his office from the school all stretched out in this cave and dead center I could see it.
While bigger then what we remembered, the stick itself was placed in a protective cased you would more likely see in a Rockies Bat Case from the 2007 World Series.
"Woah woah woah…." I could now hear the familiar sounds of PC Principal echo on the walls.
"Do you have an appointment?" Now however I could see him mutated with half his face scarred from previous attempts and the rest of his body taking on familiar troll features. His signature sunglasses while split still cover evil aquamarine eyes.
"Oh, you…Out of all the people I have to deal with this twit who doesn't know the meaning of the word, Deviant."
Now he stared me down as I charged him in full force. The tip of the spear shining in my eye as I readied myself for what would either be the start of a battle or the quick one shot that would end me.
