Chapter 24.
(Jack POV)
I was finally wake and I remembered everything, Everything. But where is my Tardis. Sonic. Oh man. I need to tell the other's I'm okay, But how. They wouldn't believe me.
"Anywhere, What's has been happening since I've been out," I said.
"Well I talked to Aira," Arcee said.
"You spoke with her when," I said.
"While you were out," Arcee said.
"What the hell else has been happening," I said. "Plus I'm surprise you were shoot the hell out of her,"
"No, Plus it look like she wants to be in on our team," Arcee said. "Optimus is going to talk with her the next time she calls,"
"What else," I said.
"That Rash," Arcee said.
"Oh," I said.
"Yeah, When were you going to tell me Jack," Arcee said.
As I saw the Rash all over my arm apart from my hand. "When It was right,"
"You should of told us Jack, Told me. Ratchet had a look at it and know what he found," Arcee said.
"What?" I said.
"It's Liquid Cybertronian, Ratchet has checked underneath the skin where it has spread. It's metal," Arcee said. "In other words. It looks like you are being changed into one of us,"
"What, Is that even possible," I said.
"No idea, Ratchet is still going over samples he took from you since he was here 2 weeks ago," Arcee said. "I should call them let them now,"
"No, Wait for mum to get here. Then we will go," I said.
"June is already on her way," Arcee said.
"Good, I'd rather tell everyone at once the repeating it about hundred times," I said.
"Hey Jack, How old does it make you," I said.
"32," I said. "I was 16 before I changed, And I'm 16 now so,"
"Wow," Arcee said.
Then the door opened and Mum walked in.
"Jack," Mum said coming over hugging me. "What is going on? You ok?"
"Mum, stop I'm fine, just a bit of a headache, but I'm fine," I said.
"What happened to you," Mum said.
"Not here, With the others I am not repeating it," I said.
"Okay fine," Mum said.
"Cortana, Get us a bridge to base would you," I said.
"Sure thing, Good having you back," Cortana said.
As the Bridge opened as we headed through. As I let Arcee and Mum go first. Then I went in next. Behind them as the Bridge shut down.
"Arcee, June, How's Jack?" Optimus said.
"Well," Arcee said.
"You could have just asked me that," I said. Walking next to them.
"Jack," Miko and Raf shouted running at me and hugging me.
"Hey," I said. As they left go.
"It's good to see you back on your feet Jack," Optimus said. As everyone else came round.
"Yeah, it is. Now what the hell has the cons been up to then?" I said.
"They have been after what we know as the Iacon database," Ratchet said.
"So what are they after artifacts," I said.
"Yeah, Cybertronian artifacts," Ratchet said.
"Not only artifacts but powerful ones," Optimus said.
"Great and let me guess, the war just started with both sides and instead of one side having them they got ejected into space and landed here on Earth," I said. "That sound about right,"
"Yes," Optimus said.
"Any idea's where they are," I said.
"Not yet," Ratchet said. "We are still decoding the database,"
"What else," I said.
"MECH tried to frame us, Using a clone look alike of Optimus attacking an Military base, Then they tried to order a shot on sight on us. But we found something called SHIELD stopped it. So it let us find who did it, Which was MECH," Chromia said. "Then Fowler got forced to explain the events to General Bryce, Threatened a military tribunal and the team's termination, But we got rid of that also. Then Bulk got himself trapped on board the Nemesis while on a scouting mission as Starscream and clones of himself attack the Nemesis, intending to kill Megatron. Failed,"
"When It is Starscream, I'm not surprised he failed," I said.
"Well believe this, I have just picked up the Nemesis. It's wait, It is crashed into a mountainside and the Engines are badly damaged," Ratchet said.
"We should hit the cons right now," Arcee said.
"The cons maybe ground. But let's not forget, We are still outnumbered," Ratchet said.
"Ratchet is right there," I said.
"At least we aren't fighting on 2 sides now," Arcee said.
"Arcee is right there, Airachnid or as she goes by now Aira. I have agreed to have her on the team," Optimus said.
"What," Ratchet said. "But,"
"She was controlled," I said. "I managed to get an interface on her the last time we were fighting. Cortana and Jarvis were going over it and found a control programme in her. It took some time to get rid of it, But it finally did 2 weeks ago, Before I ended up being out for 2 weeks,"
"Maybe we should call in a airstrike," Fowler said.
"Or more extreme measures, Agent Fowler," Optimus said.
"Or Bomb the bastard from Voyager, Since it on the ground a direct strike from 4 Torpedoes should destroy the Nemesis," I said.
Then Optimus went and got the spark Extractor.
"Optimus, I'm picking up a massive Energy spike, at the Con crash sight, It appears to be Dark Energon," Ratchet said.
"Dark Energon, Oh no, Megatron is trying to us that to get the Nemesis back in the fight," I said. "Cortana Mark 6 now,"
"Jack you just back on your feet," Mum said.
"And I'm getting back to work," I said. As I got and armoured up.
"Jack, I think you should stay here, I cannot put you in danger after what has happened," Optimus said.
"And my mind is still made up, Let's go," I said.
"Arcee you stay with him, Chromia you too," Optimus said.
"Always," Arcee said.
"Same," Chromia said.
As Ratchet fired it up. As we headed in. As Fowler came with Optimus.
"Holy mother of liberty," Fowler said. As the Nemesis was powering up.
"We got to take that out now or we never will," I said.
"Bumblebee now," Optimus said. "Bulkhead, Arcee, Chromia, Jack, Draw their Fire,"
"Fowler, Stay behind that rock," I said. As I took off with Arcee. Then Bee got hit. "Bee is down,"
As Arcee grabbed it.
"Arcee Look out," I said as Arcee got hit. "Arcee is down,"
Then Bulk got hit too.
"Chromia fall back," I said. Then Optimus tried and got hit too. "Optimus,"
Then the Nemesis started to move away.
"Jack to Base, Ratchet I need you here now, Everyone but Chromia, Fowler and me is down," I said.
"On my way," Ratchet said.
As I flew over Arcee. "Arcee," I said. As the Bridge opened. Then Ratchet Got them back to base.
"They're alive, But I've never encountered a stasis lock like this before," Ratchet said.
"Fowler, what have you got?" I said.
"The Cons are making a Bee line for North America," Fowler said.
"Hang on, we can still track them," I said.
"Why aren't they cloaked," Raf said.
"None of this makes a lick of sense, We were right in their crosshairs," Fowler said.
"Yeah, and they just took off," I said.
"Even left that spark extractor thing," Miko said.
"Is the conns still open," I said.
"Are you suggesting that we call Megatron," Ratchet said. "And ask him what is happening up there,"
"Right now, We have never seen Dark Energon on a ship before, Something could be happening up there, We need to find out," I said.
"Autobot outpost Omega 1 to Con Warship, Megatron please respond," Ratchet said.
"Megatron have been relieved of his command," Someone said.
"Who is this," I said.
"Who is this," It said.
"Have you taken control of the warship," I said.
"I am the vessel, Any Cybertronian who interferes with my mission will be neutralized," It said.
"What mission," I said.
"Priority 1, Decrepit Iacon database and recover the Con technology," It said.
"For what," I said.
"It hang up," Miko said.
"That warship has enough firepower every city it comes across, Even where those device are locations, But and full Warship with Downed cons," I said.
"What?" Fowler said.
"This could be our only chance to slip onboard the Nemesis and download the decrepit database," I said.
"So Optimus can decode it," Raf said.
"Bingo," I said.
"I will," Ratchet said.
"No, Cause I'm going to bet that thing would do the same to you as it did to the others, I'm going," I said. "That ship could be blind to us,"
"Here use this to download the data," Ratchet said. "But I can't get you on the Nemesis as it is moving,"
"Then we need a ride," I said. "Hold on," As I went over to the computer and started working.
"Don't mess up the system would you," Ratchet said.
"Sorry Ratchet but I am going to need a certain thing here," I said as I started to log on to the servers.
"Wow what is that?" Raf said.
As I got the Torchwood Software back. "Torchwoods back," I said. Then I found the programme a place into the software and used it to sent to bring the Tardis back to me.
"Wait, Torchwood," Fowler said.
"Same Torchwood what stopped the 456," I said. "Damn that hurt,"
"Wait that was you," Fowler said.
"Yeah," I said. As the whooshing started.
"What is that," Raf said.
"Our way on the Nemesis," I said. As my Tardis finally showed up and landed. "That's my girl, Cortana Mark 6," As I armoured up and went into the Tardis as It was all changed. "Oh Girl look at you," (First Console for 11th Doctor. Matt Smith) As I headed for the console. As Raf, Miko and Fowler came in.
"Wow," Raf said.
"This is big," Miko said.
"Hold on, How is it," Fowler said. As he walked out. "What the. How," As he came back in.
"Shut up and close the door," I said. As he did that.
"Now what?" Fowler said.
"We get on the Nemesis," I said. As I set up the coordinates. "Hold on, this can get rough," As I pulled the handbrake. As we headed off. As I got us onto the Nemesis. As I grabbed my Phaser that I had from Voyager. My Sonic and Vortex. Then we headed out and I closed the doors tight back behind me.
"Jack to base, We're on," I said.
"Good, Their data core should be accessible from any console," Ratchet said.
"There's one," Raf said. As Knockout was out. "Look the ship has cracked 3 codes,"
"Then let's hurry," I said as I used my thrusters and got up there. As I plugged the thing in. "Oh no, Why is the warship heading for Manhattan,"
"Cause that is where the first set of Coordinates are," Raf said.
"The Iacon Relics landed Eons ago," Ratchet said.
"Then Manhattan was built on top of it," I said. "The Ship wants it that means it will destroy Manhattan to get it, We need to stop this ship,"
"I was advise disabling the Navigation," Ratchet said. "Call up the main Navigation Menu,"
As Fowler tried but got shocked.
"Fowler," I said.
"System access detected, Interfere will not be tolerated," It said.
"There," Raf said.
"Relive yourself," It said.
"It doesn't see us," Raf said.
"Yet," Ratchet said. "The ship must not be scanning for carbon based lifeforms, But once I widens it search perimeters,"
"We're toasted," Raf said.
"No, Raf, Miko, Get fowler back there. Here use the key it will get you in," I said.
"Wait, I can bridge you back from there," Ratchet said.
"Do it, Get him through and you 2 also, Now," I said. "But I'm staying, There are millions of lives at risk. Nothing you guys can do about it,"
"You are out of your element Jack," Ratchet said.
"No, Ratchet, I'm back in my element," I said.
"But Megatron fuelled it with Dark Energon," Ratchet said.
"Wait, Dark Energon, We can pumped it, If I can put normal energon into the core, It will attack the dark energon, just like when you did with Raf. Saving him," I said.
"Follow the overhead conduit it will lead you to the power core," Ratchet said.
"Bridge the others back," I said.
"What," Miko said.
"No, You both going back," I said. As I flew down there halls. Till I made it there. "I'm there, Wow, Megatron had the same idea,"
"Energon injection, can only be operated manual," Ratchet said.
"Got it," I said. "Just going have to move Megatron big ass hand,"
As I used my thrusters and got up there. But I could get it to move. The first time then it made me.
"Shit I just got made," I said shooting it with my Repulsors. Taking it out. Then used my thrusters to push harder. Making it do it. As Megatron fell back. As Energon went into the core.
"Critical power drain," It said.
"It's down," I said. Then Flew for the Device and Grabbed it and back to the Tardis and got into her fast. Set the coords for base and hit it. Getting the Tardis out just in time. Then landed back at Base. Then I headed out with the device.
"Good to see you guys are back, Ratchet, Catch," I said throwing him the device as he caught it.
"Now we have 4 sets of coordinates," Ratchet said.
"Then we must act quickly, Before Megatron has the same 4 sets," Optimus said.
As I saw one and found where one was.
"Oh no," I said.
"What," Optimus said.
"One must have fell through the rift," I said.
"The rift," Arcee said.
"It's a rift in space and time, A city was built over it, But the rift is still there, It must have landed somewhere other than Earth and fell through the Rift," I said.
"Where is this Rift," Optimus said.
"Cardiff," I said.
"Same place where," Arcee said.
"Some place where I was when I was with Torchwood 3, If they found it early before I got in then," I said. "Hold on, Ratchet give me that signature,"
"It's coming over to you now," Ratchet said.
As I used the computer which was linked with Torchwood to search for the same signature.
"Jack," Arcee said.
"Got it," I said.
"And," Arcee said.
"Torchwood found it, from the data I'm seeing it fell through the rift back in 1950's," I said. "They found it and took it to the HUB,"
"Where do we find this Hub Jack," Optimus said.
"We don't," I said.
"But we need to get that artefact before the cons can," Ratchet said.
"They can't either, Torchwood 3 HUB was destroyed, Back when the 456 was happening, If it wasn't in the archives, Then it's as good as gone," I said.
"And if it is," Ratchet said.
"There's no way to get to it, The only way in was through the HUB itself, And from what I'm seeing it is still being rebuilt," I said.
"Maybe we can bridge into the archives," Arcee said.
"Maybe but we have no idea how it stood to the blast," I said.
"Maybe we can find out," Arcee said.
"If I can get into the archive data. We maybe be able to find out, It was connected to the Archive. Meaning if it didn't stand up to the blast, we wont be able to get into it," I said using the computer again. "That we go, Okay. I'm in, See if I can get into the cameras too," As I went for the Cameras and put them up and switch them on. Which was working. "So it did stand up to the Blast, But big enough for us to Bridge, there,"
"No, The Ground Bridge would probably cause it to collapse," Ratchet said.
"Then I'm taking the Tardis in there, Easy in and out," I said. Heading for the Tardis.
"What is that?" Optimus said.
"The Tardis, My Tardis," I said. Going over and heading in. As did the Entire Team, Mum, Miko, Raf and Fowler came in with us.
"Wow," Mum said. "But it's,"
"Let's not, Trust me when I say it never gets old," I said. As I head for the Console setting the Coords for the Hub Archive.
"So We going to get it then," Arcee said.
"You guys, Get that relic, While I get everything else out of there," I said.
"Why?" Ratchet said.
"Torchwood takes anything from the Rift. Back to the Hub. Doesn't matter whether it's dangerous or not, Torchwood never liked alien tech out in the open. One thing I could agree with," I said.
"So?" Miko said.
"So if I leave anything dangerous there in the wrong hands and yes it means the Cons, Who knows how much damage they can do," I said.
"So where are we putting all of it," Chromia said.
"Here, In the Tardis. Nothing and I mean Nothing gets through those door," I said.
"But they made of wood," Miko said.
"As long as the Tardis is fully powered up, Nothing gets in," I said.
"Wait, so what happens if," Raf said.
"Long story, Raf, Really long story, I'll tell it after we get the Iacon relics into our hands," I said.
"Is it going to be bumpy again," Miko said.
"Maybe, Maybe Not," I said. "Let's ride," As I got us off again but this time it wasn't bumpy.
"Can you get it bumpy again," Miko said.
"Oi," I said. "This old girl of mine. Isn't always bumpy, Miko,"
"How big is this ship," Ratchet said.
"Not idea, But my what someone told me once, You could probably fit another universe in here, She is that big," I said.
Then we were starting to land. As I got us down easy enough. "There we go," I said.
As I headed out as the Hub Archive lights were on.
"Let's find it," I said As I got over to the Terminal and found the number that the Relic was in and got it open. "Optimus all yours,"
As Optimus got it out. "It's the Phase shifter," Optimus said.
"No way, A Phase shifter," I said. "Oh now that is sick,"
As I headed and got every signature of everything in the archive and went into the Tardis and Beamed everything into the cargo bay. With Level 10 access. Then Got the Archive shut down locking it out too, At least Till the Hub is back online.
"Ready," I said.
"Yeah," Miko said.
As I set the Coords back for Base and let her rip.
Once we got back to Base everyone left but Arcee.
"You seem to be at home here," Arcee said.
"Yeah, Just isn't the same desktop as before," I said.
"Desktop," Arcee said.
"The Control Room. Here, It's all different. Yes, I like this, But miss the old one," I said. "The One I had when I got her, Maybe this old girl saved the desktop somewhere,"
"Jack, What is it?" Arcee said.
"I need to do a few things, Alone," I said.
"Oh okay," Arcee said.
"Tell the others see then when I get back," I said.
"You're coming back," Arcee said.
"Always," I said.
As Arcee Hugged me and then kissed me before heading out closing the door behind her. As I set the coordinates for a certain spot Then Let her go.
