So this will be one of our darker chapters. But that is what e do best s brace yourself and grab some tissues.
Vader looked at his former student, the Jedi and the boy; unsure of what to do with them. The boy was fighting against his restraints in a clear attempt to try to get to the jedi. This going on while the Jedi was barely awake and Ahsoka was out cold. Suddenly a message went into his personal communication line making him open the door where the Inquisitor's was standing and waiting.
"Take the jedi and Tano to private cells and return here immediately," Vader barked without even looking at his students.
The Inquisitor's hurried in. The Grand Inquisitor released the jedi from his restraints, making the man fall to the ground gasping while Seventh Sister and Fifth Brother took Ahsoka Tano. The small boy looked after them as they were dragged out.
"NO!" Ezra cried out as his sobs began to crackle his voice, "You can't take them away!" Vader lifted the boy up with the force, holding him in a force choke hold. Ezra began to struggle to breathe when Vader questioned sadistically, "Can't I?"
"Ez..ra…" Ezra heard Kanan cry out for him (if barely due to his weakened state).
"The Empire allows those who serve it, like me, to have certain liberties one could never have before with the republic, with the Jedi Order. With such power I have total control boy. I can kill anyone I desire and that includes the jedi" Vader told him triumphantly.
Ezra was now getting scared as his world became blurry while fear spiked for Kanan.
"Ezra!" Kanan called out, before he looked weakly at Vader as he was removed from the room by the Grand Inquisitor, knowing he didn't have the strength to get to him so he called out in stead "Please, stop. He is a child, leave him alone."
Vader looked towards Kanan for a quick moment before he let the boy down. As Ezra fell the ground though, he felt the metallic foot of the Sith Lord kick him in the gut, making the child curl-up into a tiny ball as he held his gut. As he lay curled up he felt not just pain but worry. Kanan sounded so weak and breathless, it was not good for the man.. Then Vader turned to the Grand Inquisitor who held the shaking and worried Jedi who was looking at the boy.
"Get them out of here and punish him for interfering." Vader ordered the troopers.
As Kanan was dragged out, Ezra couldn't help but to cry.
"Kanan! Kanan!" Ezra cried weakly for his master.
Ezra didn't know when he would see Kanan again, or even if! such an idea made Ezra cry more as he curled up on the floor. through all this, his only comfort was that Kanan and him were in on it together. But now without Kanan, Ezra was not sure how long he could hold out. to resist the dark side, or just letting death takes him away from this lonely nightmare now.
With the two older force user's gone, Vader saw the child was no threat in his state and decided to get the equipment ready. Even so he attached the chain to the boys restraint and then used the force to make the chains attached to the pole. The emperor's prize could not be allowed to get away. The boy merely stood looking at the door and Vader could sense the heartfelt agony the boy was feeling. Vader walked over to the camera that had surveillanced the room until now and he started to work on the camera. When it was done he set up a holo projector. It took only a few minutes before he could get it on and working. Once activated he entered the code to reach his Master.
When Emperor Palpatine image appeared before Vader, the Dark Lord stood straight and bowed to his Master.

"Kanan!" Kanan heard the voice of his padawan cry for him.
Kanan tried to lift his head to see his padawan, but he was too weak. Even now as he looked at his surroundings Kanna could barely tell what was what or where he was being taken, let alone what was up and down. The Grand Inquisitor had summoned two troopers to carry him off and none of them was particularly gentle or caring for if he bumped into things or if his legs was hauled over the floor for short distances. Kanan mind began to feel fuzzy, unable to comprehend what was about to occur to him. Kanan could not fight the unconscious world any longer and soon blacked out. At least there he was relieved of the pain from his body, even for just a moment. the last thing he could recall was how scared Ezra was.

With Ahsoka now gone, Zeb and Sabine tried to think of some way to get out of their cell. Even so they regularly checked on Hera who still seemed to struggle to hold it together. Every once in while her leku moved making her cry out. To both of them it was hard seeing Hera like that.
"If we get taken out next then maybe we can ambush them?" Zeb suggested.
"They have blasters Zeb," Sabine pointed out.
Zeb once more paced around the cell in frustration, "We need to get them and we need to get out now. I can't believe those damn troopers are getting the better of us."
Sabine then realized, the guards came over in intervals, meaning there had to be a weak point. Sabine was just about to smile when she heard some noise coming. The noise grew and they could slowly hear footsteps along with someone who seemed to struggle to breath properly.
Zeb and Sabine stood up and remained quiet, prepared to give the troopers the death glare when they heard a painful moan, from a voice that sounded very familiar to them.
As they reached their cell door they saw to their horror Kanan being carried by two troopers.
"Kanan!" gasped Zeb, Sabine, and Hera in horror.
Kanan's pony tail was barley tied as most of his face showed a mixture of blood and sweat amongst his cuts and bruises that littered the man. Kanan was clearly unconscious as the trope got closer to them, but they could tell that Kanan looked to be in great pain all over. They could even see blood seeping through Kanan's shirt, revealing to them there was more damage to Kanan than they could comprehend. The high pitched breathing told them that Kanan seemed to struggle to get air into the lungs properly and not without a lot of pain.
That was when a trooper dropped Kanan to the floor. The man fell with such a loud thud that it felt like the whole ship could senses the falls vibration.
"Be careful you bastard" Zeb shouted.
"Kanan" Hera and Sabine called.
Despite the impact of the fall, Kanan did not wake up, but he did in his unconscious state cough up some blood onto the floor.
Sabine was horrified to see Kanan like the man had just been beaten to death. She had to look away. Zeb growled at the troopers, "What did you do to him!?"
They then heard the very cold voice they could recognize by now, "What he had coming to him."
"You monster, haven't you tortured him enough!?" Hera sneered from her cell.
The Grand Inquisitor looked at her and grinned an ice cold laughter that rang through the hallway.
"You can thank my master for that. Lord Vader doesn't take kind to jedi, besides we had to motivate the brad somehow. You should have seen how much he tried after we started using the jedi" the Grand Inquisitor said still grinning.
Kanan moaned and started to open her eyes and looked around weakly. His eyes locked at them and he opened his mouth like he wanted to say something but before he had the chance the Inquisitor kneeled down and with two fingers pressured on his right leg. Kanan screamed as he tried to get away from the pressure. The crew watched helplessly as Kanan was fitting on the floor unfocused on anything else than trying to get away from the pain. The movement made blood spill on the floor it was a horrible sight to watch.
"No leave him alone" three voices shouted.
This only made the Inquisitor pressure even more as Kanan screamed before he curled together and let out a weak cry and fell unconscious. Hera watched in horror seeing the pool of blood surrounding Kanan grow. Hera looked to Sabine and Zeb and saw Sabine fighting to say something but clearly she dared not say anything after the last time as she moved her head to the Inquisitor's fingers was pressuring and she realised to her horror it was where the Inquisitor had slashed him with the whip. This was too much she had to stop him.
"No stop it you will end up killing him" Hera shouted as she hit on the shield which resulted in her being cast back.
When Hera got up she saw the Inquisitor stand in front of the shield and looked angrily at her.
"I thought I had made it clear that I don't want to hear your input" the Inquisitor said before he kicked Kanan in the ribs.
"NOOOOoooo" Hera screamed as Kanan shivered.
Sabine was crying making the Inquisitor turn to her and grinned.
"She gets it and if you don't then I will write it with his blood on the wall. No more speaking back," the Inquisitor said to Hera.
The Inquisitor stood between Kanan and the cell Zeb and Sabine was in, looking at them with no emotions as he snapped his fingers. This instructed the guards to pick up Kanan once more.
The Inquisitor looked them straight in the eye and told them darkly, "his suffering will soon come to an end."
As the Inquisitor left with Kanan and the troopers, Zeb and Sabine got a horrible shiver up their spine, knowing very well what that monster meant.

The two troopers groaned as they continued to carry the man that was hanging limb between them. The man was a rebel, a traitor to the Empire; he should be forced to make the trek himself or be shocked. The only relief was that the man was out cold, so they didn't have to worry about putting in too much energy in fighting to restrain him. As they continued to carry the man they came to the prison cells. Relieved that they were nearing their goal, the guard shifted how he carried the man making the man groan. What had the stupid man to complain about? They were doing all the lifting. Suddenly the troopers heard three voices gasping 'Kanan' as they neared the most guarded cells. Just a few more halls and they could get rid of the burden. Just as they reached the door the man opposite him lost his grip and surprised over the extra weight he let go as well.
Both troopers rolled their eyes in annoyance as they heard crying and yelling from the prisoners around them, Just as they were about to holler at them to quiet, they saw to their horror, the Inquisitor.
Both troopers froze, unsure of what they man wished for them to do. They had heard that the Inquisitor had been short-tempered, more than usual. They dared not move without the Inquisitor's permission, or face his wrath. They looked silently as the Inquisitor tortured the man and continued to taunt the other rebels. They did not care they just wanted to avoid his wrath. Fortunately The Inquisitor than waved his hand to them; a sure sign they wanted them to continue. to their relief they picked the broken man up once more and continued their trek. With adrenaline to get away from the Grand Inquisitor, the unconscious jedi rebel seemed to have become rather lighter. Not that they cared, their job was almost done.

As they finally reached the cell, Kanan slowly woke up and felt it as they tossed him down on a force field. Kanan could feel his body tremble and hurt as he tried to crawl away but a kick in his broken ribs made him cry out and curl together. Kanan felt how he started coughing up blood, his ribs were burning at this and his body was shaking. It was so bad that Kanan felt tears streaming down his face in pain, and could not stop it. All he wanted to do was keep still but the troopers just kept him moving (much to the protest of every fiber of his body). Kanan could feel how the troopers forced his arms into holder as they activated the field making him raise up so he hanged by his wrist. Kanan could feel how his arms were held painfully above him and he cried out as both his wrist and shoulders protested painfully over having to hold his full body weight. His legs was levitating without restriction within the field.
With Kanan held where he was the Grand Inquisitor activated the collar around Kanan's neck once more. Electricity spread through his body making Kanan scream while tossing and turning in the field and he could feel how his wrist and shoulder hurt even more at the movement. Kanan gasped as the collar turned off and he tried to stay very, very still realising that the additional pain came from moving his own weight around. The less he moved around the less his shoulders and wrists would protest. All though no position would remove the pain, not even close. Kanan though knew he could not keep it up forever, sooner or later he would have to move.
The Inquisitor then approached him before he whispered into Kanan's ear.
"Don't worry, we'll take good care of the boy," The Grand Inquisitor whispered with a cold sinister chill.
"No" Kanan managed to get out despite his broken ribs protested at talking and breathing.
The Grand Inquisitor slapped him across the face. Kanan could feel a few sips of blood coming out of his mouth, he felt miserable and in pain in every way possible. It was so bad that he did not have any air to reply. The blood from his mouth and many other wounds dripped down on the force field below him.
"Don't die on me Jarrus. You still have that beating in store I promised you earlier," the Grand Inquisitor said as the closed and locked the door.
Kanan tried carefully to move his head to find something he could use to get out of the force field but there was nothing. Kanan knew it would be futile anyway, he would not be able to move by himself. Kanan had been close to dying before and he knew how it felt when the body started failing him. This was one of those times and it was worse than it ever had been before. Even so Kanan could not accept it, he had to find a way to save the crew regardless of what became of him and even if they did not want to have anything to do with him after he told them what a covered he was. Kanan winced when he unintentionally moved and the blood continued to run down from everywhere on him. Darkness reached out for him as his mind gave up after struggling to stay conscious. His last thought was how his poor padawan was doing.

Ahsoka looked at Kanan as he was carried down the hallway, she was worried for her friend. Kanan left a small trail of blood as he was carried away, she hoped he could hang in there. Kanan looked like was nearing his breaking point if not already there. The need to do something was strong and she struggled to get to him, only to feel her wrist almost being crushed by the Fifth Brother holding her so tight.
"Kanan" Ahsoka called after him but he didn't say anything and she noticed he was unconscious once more that was not good.
Ahsoka felt a slap on her face and a cold grin telling her it was Seventh Sister which had hit her. Ahsoka caught a last glimpse of the man as she was carried down another hallway, as it was clear they did not want them to be too close to each other. It felt like forever before they finally they got to a cell where she was dragged in. Before she knew it the Seventh Sister and Fifth Brother had dragged her in and chained her to the wall. As she saw the chains around her she struggled to get out of them but they would not get loose.
"Now this brings back memories. I remember how much Jarrus tried to fight against that in the beginning whenever we chained him" Ahsoka glared at the Seventh Sister, she could hear the glea in the woman's voice.
The Fifth Brother grinned and added "Yes that is when he was awake, often he was too far gone to say anything."
"Yes he became quite slow and inactive as the weeks went on and no one came to him. I would imagine that was your doing. After all Jedi didn't come back for those left behind didn't you?" the Seventh Sister grinned gleefully.
Ahsoka glared at them both as they left Ahsoka alone in the cell. Ahsoka raised and tried to get to the door but had barely taken two steps before the chains prevented her from getting further. Frustrated Ahsoka sat down and started at the chains. When Kanan had first been captured she had forced Hera to stop looking for him knowing she had condemned him to something like this. At the time it had been hard knowing that he would suffer for her choice. Now seeing just how gruesome and terrible he was treated, she was not sure how she had justified such a decision. Ahsoka could feel her stomach turn thinking of how Seventh Sister had thrown her decision right in her face. Even worse was there current situation. Kanan was beaten so badly that she feared that even if they broke out of here and now he might not make it. Kanan was in dire need of medical help, the blood and wounds were a sure sign of that.
The question that plagued he was if she was responsible for this? Ahsoka had angered Ani…, Vader and it had cost Kanan a considerable amount of pain. Ezra had also been mistreated by the menical beast. Ahsoka could still hardly believe that monster was her former master. For a short moment she had hoped she could talk him out of it but no. The man she had respected and would be willing to lay down his life for was long gone. Instead was an android monster that would hurt both her and her friends. Ahsoka knew that the Sith Lord would have found a reason to go after Kanan regardless of her actions. If nothing else than because Kanan was a Jedi and he a Sith. Yet she could not stop herself from feeling the guilt gnawed at her after all she had angered Vader. Ahsoka hoped Kanan could hold out and hopefully soon they could all get out of here and her friend could get medical treatment.

Zeb and Sabine got ready as they saw the hour coming near. The Troopers seemed to be getting weary as their shift came to an end. that was when they saw at the end of the hall, new troopers coming in, getting report from their comrades.
Zeb and Sabine looked towards Hera and gave her a nod that things were about to go on. With the old guards on their way Zeb and Sabine got ready. As the guard passed their cell they began.
"I can't take it anymore! I can't take you anymore!" Sabine hollered as she reached up to smack the back side of Zeb's head.
"Like I enjoy being stuck in a cell with you!" Zeb growled as he swung and 'missed'.
This noise seemed to catch the guards attention as the turned to their attention.
Just as the guards approached the guard Sabine stepped up the charade and jumped on Zeb's back.
"Yeah!" Sabine hollered as she jumped right on the Lasat. The Lasat trying to 'toss the crazy chick' off him.
"All right that's it!" hollered one of the troopers as he deactivated the shield.
His fellow guard came down with him, and the two pointed theirs guns to stun the two when Hera hollered, "NOW!"
When the guards turned to the screaming woman across the hall. A critical error for them as Zeb and Sabine tackled the two guards to the gun. WIth Zeb's upper body strength and Sabine's agility, the two were able to easily wrestle the blaster form the troopers, knock them out and place binders on them for when they woke up so they could not get help.
With the guards out of the way, they went to Hera's cell and freed her.
"Are you guys okay!?" Hera asked as she looked at the two.
"We should be asking you," Sabine noted as she looked at Hera's lekkus wound that had blood on them.
Hera smiled gently, "We'll worry about injuries later. We need to find Ahsoka, Kanan, and Ezra and somehow get out of here."
"I doubt we can while still in hyperspace," Zeb pointed out.
That was when Sabine got a wicked smile.
Zeb and Hera knew that look and got very happy, but also concerned knowing Sabines' plan.
"Come on we got to get to the control panel and we have to do it quietly."
Just as the trio was about to escape, they passed a cell where sorrowful crying echoed within. They moved to the cell and inside they found the source behind it. For the first time, they got a real up look close at Ezra's parents.
Ephraim looked so much like his son, but the boy clearly got his eyes from his mother.
The three were frozen as the couple looked at them with shock. Sabine got to the lock system and got the force shield to come down, freeing the Bridger's.
The man asked weakly, "What happened?"
Hera stepped forward to them, "We are finding the other's and busting out."
"Ezra," Mira asked, "Where is he!?"
"We don't know," Hera admitted, "but we are going to find Kanan, Ahsoka, and Ezra. You will be reunited with your son again."
The mother smiled at the kind twi'lek when she suddenly took Hera in for a hug.
"Thank you," The women cried. Hera knew there was more to the gratitude, but now was not the time.
"Let's get out and find a way to the others, and out of here."
The couple nodded as they left their imprisonment.
Sabine and Zeb smiled at the tough couple as they came out.
"Remember, quiet." Hera instructed once more. With that, the now five left the corridor to find their friends and freedom.

Ezra was struggling to get out of the hold of the cold mechanical grip holding him. Ezra had woken up to a holo image of a cloaked figure who looked like a deformed man. The man had ordered Vader to bring him over to Ezra It had resulted in Vader following the order and released Ezra from his chain and brought him over and that had made Ezra scared for only one known person could order Vader around and that was the Emperor himself. Ezra did not like being showed off this way, in fact he hated it but he was scared what would happen if he protested. Even so he struggled to get of this Vader things grip.
"Stand still boy" Vader said.
Ezra too scared to say it just shrugged his head while keep struggling to get away. The cold hand dug further into his shoulders and regoniced the signale to stand still or it would be even worse.
"Now young Bridger I hear you have a special ability" the cloaked man spoke in a graveled tone.
Ezra shivered and remembered how he was trained, no talking unless being talked to. Ezra kept his mouth shot and The hard nodge told him that Vader wanted him to talk.
"I don't know about this ability you keep talking about" Ezra said in a weak voice.
""What do you say to that Lord Vader?" Palpatine asked.
"The boy has the ability but is not aware of how to use it" Vader replied.
"Indeed. That is very interesting" Palpatine said.
"Please stop this. I don't know what you are talking about and I just want to be with Kanan" Ezra sobbed.
"Yes the man. I saw all about it over the camera you are quite committed to him, why?" Palpatine said.
Before Ezra could reply, the door opened and the three Inquisitor's walked in. Upon seeing their master along with the Emperor himself in front of them, all kneeled.
"Master" the Grand Inquisitor said surprised while the Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister was silent but just as surprised.
Even so both the Emperor and Vader completely ignored them.
"Now boy I have read up on you. Your parents were arrested and you grew up on the streets for two years. Very impressive young one, most can't survive on the streets two years" Palpatine said.
Ezra was scared. Vader was scary but somehow Palpatine was even worse and it made him want to run away. Ezra did not want to be with this scary people, he wanted to be held by Kanan while the crew was fussing over him. Ezra could feel that Vader was loosening his grip on him. Perhaps he was really fast he could get out of here and try and find the crew. When Vader loosened a little more Ezra jumped forward and sprinted towards the door.
"Catch him" Ezra could hear Vader say.
Ezra ducked as the Fifth Brother tried to grab him and avoided and narrowly got out of Seventh Sister's reach. Yet suddenly he felt himself being lifted by the hair and he recognized the cold hand of the Pau'un.
"No" Ezra sobbed.
"How dare you boy?" the Inquisitor sneared.
"No let me go. I just want to be with Kanan" Ezra sobbed.
"Your Jedi will pay dearly for this. Grand Inquisitor go to his cell and break three ribs on him" Vader ordered
"With pleasure master" the Grand Inquisitor threw Ezra across the floor and turned to leave.
"NO" Ezra screamed.
Ezra got up and ran to the Grand Inquisitor and grabbed his leg but he merely pushed him aside. Ezra fearing that Kanan would not take well to another three broken ribs realised only one choice. Ezra turned to Vader and ran to him.
"Please don't make him do it he will not make it" Ezra cried to Vader.
"Not my problem boy" Vader replied.
"Please I will stay just don't hurt Kanan" Ezra begged and looked seeing that the Grand Inquisitor was almost out the door.
"PLEASE DON'T HURT HIM" Ezra screamed in panic.
"Stop Inquisitor" Vader order making the Inquisitor stop.
"Will you do as I say?" Vader asked.
Ezra had tears running down his eyes as he nodded.
"Neal in front of me" Vader said.
Ezra was shaking as kneeled in front of Vader while he had tears in his eyes.
"Good you will stay here. Inquisitor there is no need … for now" Vader said.
Ezra sighed a little in relief but he also felt he had lost something to them all though he could not tell what.
"Good," Palpatine stated, "Now lets us begin our test.
Vader nodded as he used the force to deactivate the collar around Ezra's neck. Ezra really just wanted to refuse any test but his fear for what they would do to Kanan made him stay put.
"Now Yes, we did get some sort of look at what you can do. But it does appear that it cannot be summoned at will. That is what we need for you to attempt now.
Ezra shook his head no. Kanan would be so upset if he tried to use the dark side intentionally.
"If you don't then I will change my mind about the Jedi and the next time I won't stop!" Vader demanded
Ezra was blank; he didn't want to try to use the dark side, but he didn't want Kanan to suffer even more and he had. So Ezra nodded in agreement.
"Good," Palpatine said before he instructed the child, "Now focus on your inner dark side, on everything you hate.
Ezra tried to do as the man said, but he could not. Ezra was to scared to think about everything he hated. Ezra did try though for the sake of his friends.
After Several minutes however, the others seemed frustrated by the child's failure.
"I say we set an example." The Grand Inquisitors.
Ezra's heart rate increased at the idea.
"Hold your tongue, or I may take a limb off the Jedi" Vader spoke.
"Master," The Inquisitors raised his voice in anger, "This boy does not wish to use the dark side. I will gladly break every bone in his body if that is what it takes. This boy should know that because he defied to do so sooner has resulted in the termination of those he holds dear. We can eliminate a rebel, I personally say either that twi'lek, if not her then the Jedi i would not slicing that smugg head off his shoulder and-, AHhHH!" It happened in an incident. The Inquisitors mind began to feel like it was bleeding all over, slowly caving in on itself was what it felt like.
The Emperor and Sith Lord, along with the remaining Inquisitors looked towards the child, as his eyes looked at the Pau'an with anger.
The emperor seeing that the Inquisitor helped show the boy's ability to indeed summon his inner power to harness the dark side, the man smiled wickedly.
"I have seen enough. Vader."
Vader reached towards the boy and with one wave of his hand, the boy blacked out, landing on the floor. The Inquisitor, free from his torture began to gasp as he became free of the immense pain.
"FIfth Brother, Seventh Sister; get the boy's collar back on and restrain him!" Vader ordered.
The two Inquisitor siblings, in shock of what they witness, did not hesitate to do as they are told.
"Vader," Palpatine spoke up, "Report to your office. I wish to discuss this matter with you."
Vader nodded as the holo-image of the emperor went off.
Vader walked out of the cell, before making it clear to his student's. "If anything happens to the boy or the other prisoners in my absence, then I will have the boy end you."
As Vader walked by his injured student, he did not even see if the Pau'an needed aid before disappearing down the hall.
With the boy restrained once more the three left. Questioning what this new knowledge about the boy meant not just for the emperor, but for them.

The Inquisitor's waited outside their Master's private corridor, waiting impatiently. They had been ordered to bring the boy with them. So the boy waited bound to The Grand Inquisitor's side via a chain. The boy looked up at them in anger but silence. small drops of tears came every once in a while but he almost managed to keep them back They were told to wait until they were called in but the waiting was making the three rather ill-tempered. They did not know what Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine were discussing. Could be about their captives most likely, or about them; which made them more nervous.
Finally, after what felt like forever the doors opened when they heard their master's metallic voice, "Enter,"
The three entered. The child fought to be dragged in,
"NO! I'm not going in with you!" Ezra cried out in anger.
The Grand Inquisitor smacked him hard across the face so hard it made Ezra bend over as he held his bound hands to his face.
"You do what you are told, or else."
With that the boy just looked at him with great anger in his eyes.
The three Inquisitor's bowed before their master, as they waited for his next instructions.
"Before we begin with the captives we have some issues to handle. That being how you handle this" Vader said.
The three Inquisitor's stiffened while Ezra looked silent at them unsure why he had to be here. A small part of him hoped to see them being in trouble. Ezra knew he should not, that is was his hate influencing his emotions, but it was hard not to, they had cost him a lot of pain to him and his friends and master.
"First of well done Grand Inquisitor you raised to the task. Your position is secure there will be no change in who lead the Inquisitorium" Vader said.
The Grand Inquisitor bowed his head in respect before saying "Thank you master you won't regret it."
"Fifth Brother you have done your task fine" Vader said.
The Fifth Brother bowed his head in respect, it was rare he got praise as he was one of the lowest ranking Inquisitor's there was.
"Seventh Sister you have disappointed me. You electrocuted the boy without my permission" Vader sneered.
Ezra shivered as everyone looked at him, he did not like to be the center of attention among these people.
"Not only that master she harmed Ahsoka Tano when we transported them to the Star Destroyer" the Grand Inquisitor said, trying and failing to not sound gleeful.
Vader's anger was clear to everyone in the room.
"You went against a direct order from me?" Vader asked and activated his saber pointing at her.
"Master I can explain" Seventh Sister tried to get out of it.'
"No you cannot so I am going to warn you, do that one more time and then you will reach the end of the line. Now you are the one to prove your worth" Vader said as he let his lightsaber hit her left side of the stomach lightly.
"Yes master I can do that" Seventh Sister begged as she held her hand over the burn.
Ezra could not deny it was somehow nice to see the woman in trouble. Yet it also scared him, if those people had their way he would soon be one that had to look out for Darth Vader's anger, but he was soon distracted by something else.
"Student's, The emperor and I have discussed our next course of action in regards to our captives. The boy has indeed proven to be powerful, and potentially useful to the EMpire. That Is why I shall train him."
The Inquisitor's eyes bulged out in shock when.
Ezra began gasping in horror, "No!, I won't train with you! Kanan is my Master not-,"
Vader did not even look as he pressed the shock collar to send a painful shock to the boy, sending the child to his knees.
"Rather or not you like it, I will train you to follow in my footsteps. In time you will have strength from the dark side, and you will thank me for that."
Ezra weped on the floor, the shock in horror of being trained by the sith lord made him nauseous. Kanan will be so mad about Ezra being forced to be Vader's apprentice.
The Grand Inquisitor was about to speak when Vader stated, "The boy needs discipline from one who can assure him failure to the empire can prove to be deadly. I shall bring him to Coruscant and we shall have his training begin there, and we will make it intense."
The child whimpered more as Vader spoke. Ezra did not want any of that; he doesn't want to be a sith, he wanted to be with the rebellion and with Kanan and the other's.
The Fifth brother than asked "For the other's?"
Vader was silent before he stated, "Imprison the rebels in the highest security cells. As for the Jedi, he must be disposed of. The boy can't have two masters"
Ezra lost his breath, he could not of heard that right. They couldn't kill Kanan, they can't!
The Grand Inquisitor sneered wickedly, "If it pleases you Master, I have a most slow and painful method to rid us of the Jedi."
"Very well," Vader agreed, "Do not fail me this time my student. Dismissed"
"YOU CAN'T!" Ezra screeched so loudly it made the Inquisitors and Vader ears almost bleed.
"YOU CAN'T KILL KANAN! I WON'T LET YOU! I-"
Ezra was so horrified at he ran to Vader and grabbed his cloak and yanked it. Ezra almost yanked at the chain but he didn't care he just wanted Kanan to be safe.
"Please you told me you wouldn't if I did as you said" Ezra begged with tears running freely down his checks.
"If you did as I ordered, which you haven't. It is clear that the Jedi must die. That is why he is sentenced to death" Vader said not carrying for the please.
"NO PLEASE" Ezra cried hysterically.
Vader, having enough of the child's whining, used the force to have the boy's mind go black. Ezra's form went down to the floor hard and quickly.
Vader held his hand out to the Inquisitor, and the Pau'an with reluctance, handed the chain over to his Master.
"Continue with the plan. I shall have the boy remain here for the time being."
With that the Inquisitors left their master and the child. As the Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister made their trek to check on security, The Grand Inquisitor went to get his supplies ready. The Pau'an would focus all his rage out onto the man.
The boy was now to be his Master's student. Vader was not only going to train him to be an Inquisitor, but to be Vader's second in command. Hence, the Inquisitors superior.
The idea sent an uncomfortable shiver down the man's spine. If the child was to be trained to use the dark side, there was no telling how the boy would punish him for his time as the Inquisitor's student. It did not look good for the man, either he would be imprisoned by the very child he himself imprisoned, or possibly killed if the child was that motivated.
As the Inquisitor entered the room to prepare his vial for the Jedi, the man wondered how he could avoid the boy's wrath. Every plot of killing or sending the boy away would be furitle for his Master would know after all and would face his Master's wrath. The idea that he was now trapped in a corner by these people who would end him made him angered by the anxiety of it all. With his mind focused on releasing his anger. The Inquisitor left to pop in to vist the Jedi for the last time.

Kanan groaned as he came to he could feel that the blood had started to run less fast from his body, a small relief among all the pain, his wrist and shoulders hurt terribly. His throat seemed to crack and get more dry every second. Every breath was a burning, stinging experience that only increased the pain. The hand that was broken was horribly right now. The broken wrist had swollen up and was throbbing in his bindings. Because of how he hang he could feel his uninjured wrist and shoulder was being pulled at, it would break too sooner or later. The hand and fingers was beyond painful but the problem was it was only one of the many places his body was hurting. Kanan had tried to hang still but his body was twitching. Then there was bruises and slightly swollen eye from the flight. All over his body there was deep cuts into his bones, many that was still bleeding. All the places the force net had cut into had felt like living fire that ate anything it came into contact with including bones. Yet the worst was his back. Up and down his back was there blister and when they broke it was terribly painful. Some places the whip marks and the cuts overlapped and was so painful Kanan could not even describe how much it hurt. The blood, cuts and scars overlapping made it very possible it either was or would be infected. The heat from the whip seemed to just build and grow and that was despite the help from the bacta patches Ezra had gotten to him despite what it had costed him. The broken blasters where the net had cut in was a mix of blood, wounds and scars. The thought of Ezra made Kanan struggle to get out once more. Kanan had tried to figure out how to get away from the force field but without luck. It was designed for force users and left him with little opportunity for moving. Suddenly the door was opened and the Grand Inquisitor came in looking entirely angry. A trooper was following him with a tube filled with liquid in one hand and the fire whip in the other. Kanan was disturbed by how angry the Grand Inquisitor was, he had tried this before and it never ended well for him.
"Where is … Ezra?" Kanan managed to gasp out.
"Not feeling to well Jarrus?" the Grand Inquisitor asked with a smirk.
Kanan glared as he was to breathless to start a discussion.
"The boy is being handled. Vader has taken him as his apprentice" the Inquisitor said sounding unhappy about it.
Kanan looked worried at the Inquisitor, if Ezra was Vader's new apprentice things could go very, very bad.
"For now it will just be you and me Jarrus. You see his majesty Emperor Palpatine has personal called us and given instruction what is to happen with you. I finally have my wish Jarrus. I can finally rid the world from one of the last Jedi left in the galaxy" the Inquisitor said.
Kanan stared at the Pau'un before the message sunk in, he had known it could very well be the result. There had been times in the first imprisonment where he had wished to die to end the pain but now? Now he had the crew to take care of, Ezra would be heartbroken when he found out he was dead or sentenced to death.
"No" Kanan groaned and struggled to get out, "Ezra can't..."
"Always so noble, always trying to keep a fight to the end. The boy certainly also tried to fight against it but he has been tainted by the dark side" the Inquisitor said.
Kanan struggled even more despite the increase of pain. The Grand Inquisitor smiled when he saw it.
"No for know this is just you and me. I am here to give you the beating you deserve and then carry out the order" the Inquisitor grinned and grabbed the fire whip.
Kanan eyes narrowed, it was to be expected that the Inquisitor would want to torture him to the end. The Pau'un had taken his existence as an error he personal would correct. Even so it would not make the pain he was about to endure easier. The Inquisitor disappeared from his view and Kanan tried to prepare of impact of the whip.
Kanan felt a burning sensation as the whip suddenly made contact with his back. Pain exploded as his back started to burn over heat once again. The new burn somehow seemed to make the old even worse and had he have the air for it he would be screaming his lungs out. Kanan's mind was relying refusing to handle any more pain. When the second whiplash fell he could not comprehend it would hurt him to move, he trashed and turned and through his dried up throat he cracked a small cry. The Grand Inquisitor intended to whip him to death he realised.
"You were funnier to punish when you had the air to scream" the Grand Inquisitor said.
Kanan managed to hold back a groan, he would not give him the satisfaction.
"Given up already? What a shame you have many painful hours ahead of you before I allow you to leave the Galaxy" the Grand Inquisitor said.
Kanan felt how his body trashed and turned with him being unable to control his spasm. At this rate he could not hold for more than a few hours. Yet instead of provoking more pain he saw the Grand Inquisitor took out a syringe full a very dark blue color, almost dark as midnight.
"You know what this is Jarrus?" the Grand Inquisitor asked.
His throat was too dry to talk so he had to shook his head carefully making the room spinning.
"This is serum made from the flower Blue Dariel. When concentrated it can be to the serum Painful Slumber. It slows your heartbeat while filling your mind with horribly hallucinations until the body gives up" the Grand Inquisitor said.
Kanan felt a shiver down his spine as the Grand Inquisitor prepared the tube. Kanan struggled once more to get away but it was no use, the force field held him firmly in place. The Grand Inquisitor disappeared from view and he waited … nothing seemed to happen unless his fast beating heart counted. Suddenly the needle was slammed into his neck and it was emptied out into his bloodstream. At first nothing happened but then colors began to swirl around him, he could not make forms of them but his sight seemed to play tricks on him. Soon his cell was gone only to see the color moves around.
"Enjoy your last 24 hours in this Galaxy I promise you to keep you alive to suffer through all 24. Even if I have to send you to the doctors to make sure you make it through the long and agonizing 24 hours" the Grand Inquisitor voice was heard before the sound of the door was slammed shut. The color continued to fly around without them taking shape while he started feeling a burning sensation in his neck.
A/N So Kanan has been sentenced to death and it has been carried out. The crew better start acting and fast. We hope you all enjoyed, comment with a guess on what will happen next
