Mara Jade Skywalker was running through some of the various Lightsaber Forms when a young woman comes up stating, "Master Skywalker"

"Julia, what can I help you with!" Mara Jade states softly
"I could use your advice, I've been sent on a mission part of it is, "sneaking around!"" The girl said
"And Master Ketu referred you to me for advice!" Mara Jade said eyeing the girl.
"That was Good Advice… Julia until this point all you've done is Sparring!" Leveling her gaze at the girl Mara said, "Sparring and fighting are two very different things!"
Julia looked at The Master of Stav Kesh, when Mara Jade said, "When your sparring theirs no killing intent, but when you're fighting for your life, don't hesitate!"
"Luke can you come over here!" Mara Jade called.
Julia watched as Luke walks out of the shadow of a pillar
"Let's see" Mara Jade said taking her in, "We will need to augment your weapons a bit"
"Do You remember the close quarter knife fighting!" Mara asks already knowing the answer.
"How could I forget" Julia said sarcastically, "I had to face you without the benefit of Sight or hearing as final exam!"
"Luke" Mara Jade calls out, "How many times did you lose your saber!"
"More then I want to admit to!" Coming to a stop next to his wife Luke said sheepishly, "There were times I didn't have time to draw it… At all"
"You will need vibroknive's, they come in handy!" Mara said, "I was going to give you these after our combat training tonight, their hair spikes.
Taking the set in her own hair out Mara shows Julia how to use them to put her hair up saying, "To the casual observer they are nothing more than decoration!"
Faster than Julia can see Mara Jade drew the spike from her hair, the young Je'daii was so distracted by the bulk of Mara's red hair dropping to her shoulder that she didn't notice the spike being held and had at Julia's throat saying, "In a time of need they can be quite lethal!"
Julia looked at The Master of Stav Kesh wondering, "Who is she!"
"Come on we'll get you a Mara Jade Special from the Armory!" Mara Jade said.
Luke inwardly chuckled thinking, Still as sharp and deadly as ever!

Master Ketu… a moment of your time when you have one! Mara thought, as the four of them walked Mara eyes the girl not much older than Julia asking, "And you are!"
Luke, I have nothing against relationships with Women, but she is a bit young don't ya think!" Luke may be in his 50's but he is still a farmboy at heart and started turning crimson.
The 2 younger women of the group gave each other a sideways glance wondering (What's going on with those 2!)
A short 15-minute walk later they stopped at a building and Mara walked them in saying, "Luke Skywalker meet Caedan Mitruth master armorer of Je'daii Order" Mara Jade said, "Caedan I need a Mara Jade loadout for Julia!"
"Give me two hours Mara!" Caedan said, taking in Julia's measurements.
As they leave moments later Master Ketu found them as they walk a grassy field, "Master Ketu, this is my husband Luke, I was hoping you could fill in the blanks!"
"Luke, I need you to understand something, when I left all I knew was I needed to find a pure force planet!"
"Of course, Mara!" Master Ketu said, "When I found Mara on Ashla she was near death and a lethal dose of a darkside poison in her system!"
Luke felt a panic building in his gut as Master Ketu continued saying, "Purging that poison took months and it almost killed her"
At this point Mara came in with, "Luke you gave me the strength to fight it!"
Looking at Master Ketu, Mara Jade said, "I ask a small favor!"
"You wish to offer the same opportunity to your husband that I granted to you!" Master Ketu said with a light chuckle.
"Yes, allow him to become a… Padawan!" Mara said only to have Luke bristle at the comment.
"Luke even you have to admit your knowledge of the force and what you and I know to be a Jedi Knight, is lacking!" Mara Jade said, "Here you have a "Fourth Generation Master" willing to teach you!"
"Well Luke" Mara said.
"In that case I accept!" Luke muttered.
"Good" Master Ketu said, you and your traveling companion need to spend time on Ashla!"
After a brief pause Master Ketu told Luke, "But before you go a joining ceremony and a master's appointment will be undertaken!"
Mara Walks over to Luke and Kisses him making the other three feeling slightly uncomfortable, telling him, "I survived Ashla, It was intensely painful, but you will be fine!"
Later that night at Kaleth, or the Temple of Knowledge.
"Mara Jade Skywalker" Master Ketu said, "Do you accept the appointment of master of Stav Kesh The Temple of Martial Arts."
Luke was about to object when Mara Jade said, "I do!"
"Do you pledge yourself to training the next generation of The Je'daii Order" Master Ketu asks.
"I do!" Mara Jade said
"Then Rise Temple Master Mara Jade Skywalker" Master Ketu stated.
"Luke bring your new friend and those books" Mara Jade called as she stood by Master Ketu saying, "Master Ketu is one of the few that still read write and speak ancient Tythonian!"
Reaching out with her senses Mara Jade eyed the girl that came with Luke saying, "Ray is it, Until Luke comes back, you'll be staying with me!"
Eying Rey's quarterstaff the newly appointed Weapons Master asks, "You know how to use that thing!"
"Most of my life!" Rey said sharply.
"We Will See!" Mara Jade said, "We Will See!"
30 minutes later Mara Jade and Rey watched Luke head to Ashla, and Mara Jade said, "Come with me my Apprentice!" In that moment Mara Jade realized who she sounded like and shivered
"But I thought I would be Learning from Luke!"
Moments later at her temple Mara Jade said, "As good as my husband is, he has little experience with the dark side!"
Husband!? thought Rey Exclaimed challenging Mara Jade, asking her, "And you do!"
"Rey I was raised by Emperor Palpatine, from the time I was 5 I served as his Hand and & Assassin until Luke and his Father killed The Emperor"
"I used the dark side on a daily basis!"
Rey's head snapped to face Mara Jade as the Je'daii Master said, "Your Dark side is right below the surface, before you head to Ashla yourself I'm going to teach you a few techniques to rain it in!"
Holding out her hand Rey watched as 2 wooden Bo Staffs floated into it telling Rey, "Now let's see how good you are at fighting with a staff!"
Tossing one to Rey, Mara too up a fighting stance.
The one thing that Rey noticed was Mara Jade's grip, thinking, She KNOWS, how to use a staff!"
"Take the Center Position" Mara Said pointing with her staff.
Rey watched as Mara Jade moved, Mara's feet slid across the ground, not braking contact as she moved from one position to the next. Then Rey attacked only to hear Crack, crack, crack, only to have her legs taken out from under her Rey hits the ground with an:
UUUuuhh, was the only sound Rey made as she had the wind knocked out of her for the first time
Mara blocked the first strike "crack" then the second, "crack" before Mara's staff impacted Rey's gut with a UUUuuhh, as Rey fell to her knees!
Setting her Staff aside Mara Helped her to her feet saying, "You learned on the streets of Jakku didn't you!"
It wasn't a question so much as a statement of fact As Mara said, "You've got the reflexes of a Je'daii but not the skill
Helping her to a bed Mara uses when she stays at the temple, she placed a hand on Rey's head and a hand on her Belly and started easing Rey's pain using the force.
"You can't save Kylo Ren; you do know that… right!" Mara said, evaluating the girl.
Rey shot her a glaring look that said, "Just Watch Me!"
"If he truly is a Sith he has to want to change, though from what my old contacts tell me … he is a nothing more then child throwing a tantrum" Mara said turning to leave Mara Jade said, "Get some sleep... We start your training tomorrow"
Sunrise The Next Morning, Rey walked into the Main work out area to see Mara Jade In the center of the circle where she herself stood 8 hours ago with a few differences Mara Jade was Blindfolded and Rey got the distinct impression she could not hear anything.
In her mind Rey heard, Stay where you are, Rey this is my morning workout
Four Students preparing to undergo the trials stood at North, South, East, and West!
Suddenly the 4 ignited their lightsabers!
Mara Jade just stood their unmoving as the stone pillar beside Rey

That's when it hit Rey, She could have killed all 4 of them.
Kst, kst, ksrt…Unlike her student's Mara Jade's movements were smooth, even subtle she was so caught up in the fight that Rey didn't notice Master Ketu stepping up beside her.
"Her movements are not as random as they look!" Master Ketu stated, looking At her.
In the Name of... she could kill them in a heartbeat! Rey thought.
The air was filled with VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv, as another round of Kst, kst, ksrt…Kst, kst, ksrt…
Rey observed, "She doesn't waste any motion!" Then the thought hit her, She could have, killed me last night!
Master Ketu Nodded and said, "In her former profession she couldn't waste any motion, Rey!"
"If I'd wanted to kill them Rey, they'd be dead!" Mara Jade said from under the hood gathering up the force before pushing it outward she used a 365-degree force push to knock all of them off their feet disarming them all in one move. Mara Jade turned off her Saber, taking off her hood and taking out the plugs blocking her hearing!
"Have a Seat Rey!" Mara Jade said gesturing with her hand, "I'm going to shift into my dark side aspect, The Mara Jade Emperor Palpatine Trained me to be… My training started at age 5!""
Meanwhile on Ashla Luke could sense his wife's growing darkness and was frantically reaching out with the force thinking NO, NO, NO!
Back at the temple Je'daii Master Mara Jade, Responded, Relax Luke I haven't fallen, I'm just giving Rey an education in what an experienced user of the dark side is capable of!
Rey watched as Mara Jade's aspect changed, the beautiful women remained but it was a dark beauty, Rey could feel the killing intent just below the surface, Looking at Rey and adding the force to her speech Mara Jade said, "Tell me your life from the day you were left on Jakku!"
A vibro-knife appeared in Mara Jade's Hand as she said, "You will Tell me, or I will start skinning you one layer at a time!"
Now Rey was scared as she thought, Where did that come from?
Looked at Rey and in a calm cold voice void of all emotion Mara Jade, asks, "Who is Fin!" With a malevolent smile Mara said, "I see a former Trooper, just my type."
Slowly Mara Jade's aspect started shifting back to neutral as Mara Jade said, "That is just a taste of what I was like… compared to me Kylo Ren is a boy throwing a temper tantrum!"
Mara had manipulated her and she knew it, as Rey's indigence shown on her face as it snapped to Mara Jade who said, "Rey I was The Emperors hand, his personal assassin, Interrogations were a specialty of mine, my job was to root out traitors and turncoats, and eliminate his enemies!"
The look of disgust on Rey's face turned into fear as Mara Jade responded to the question in Rey's mind telling her, "Yes I mean kill them!"
"What you need to understand Rey is I met Luke in 8 ABY, In 4 ABY, I was given my Final Orders From Palpatine, "Kill Luke Skywalker"
Rey Looked at Mara confused, "I married him Marries 19 ABY!"
"H-How did you break free!" Rey asks tentatively looking at Mara Jade.
"I didn't I killed his Darkside Clone in 9 ABT…" Mara Jade said shrugging her shoulders!
A 9-year old little boy with red hair and blue eyes comes running up to Mara Jade and instantly hides behind her leg! Peeking out at Rey!
Mara Jade brings him over to the bench and he whispers something in Mara Jade's ear, Laughing Mara said, "When your father gets back from Ashla you can meet him… promise!"
Meanwhile on Ashla Luke was subconsciously tuning in to Mara herself and both saw and heard the conversation between Lukas and his mother Mara Jade.
