The Je'Daii Joining ceremony took place after their return that night and both Mara Jade and Luke were now Man and wife in the eyes of the council.
Mara didn't want to give up her apartments, but it was only bug enough for her and her son and now there was Luke as they walked to their new residence Mara said, "A while back I took a job on Naboo!"
"Oh!" Luke said looking at Mara
"Noble wanted a security evaluation of their staff, Basically I was getting paid to brake in!" Mara said, "Nothing I haven't done a thousand times with my eyes closed!"
The last part of the statement earned a chuckle from Luke.
"Anyway, a member of Padmé Amidala's security force approached me asked me if I was related to you or knew your whereabouts!"
Luke looked at Mara trying to read her but because of her training with Sheev Palpatine.
In his mind Luke heard, I have your and your sisters original birth certificates, They signed over the deeds to me as the only living Skywalker!
The implications of the statement were not lost on Luke, a connection to his mother!
Pausing mid step Mara said, "A women named Sabé asked me if I was related to Anakin Skywalker, I said I was, but I wanted to remain anonymous on that trip, Luke she showed me the spot, I found out later that she was your mother's body double!"
Looking at Luke she said, "Then she gave me the documents!"
Luke's brow rose to an arch as Mara said, "Mind out of the gutter Farmboy, where they exchanged vows!"
The look on Luke's face said, "When can we leave!"
Laughing Mara said, "Let's get our home settled first, then we will talk about that!"
Smiling Luke was happy only to have Mara deflate his happiness if only slightly as she said, "According to the rules, where the master goes, so does A Padawan!"
Luke opened his mouth to speak but no words come out, Mara said, "The Shadow is hangered here we could send a discreet message to princess"
Luke, about Rey… she had been using the force most of her life, all be it in small ways!"
How? Luke replied giving his wife a sideways glance but understanding.
It's an unconscious act on her part! Mara thought looking at Luke, She lived in isolation in the burned-out husk of an ATAT in the Jakku desert it developed her instincts!
Looking at his wife, and nodding in understanding Luke thought, Those instincts tapped into The Force!
Yes… Mara thought For someone untrained her potential could rival yours! Mara replied.
Mara… what's wrong! Luke thought sensing profound sorrow coming from his wife, as a wave of emotions he has not felt in her since the first time they met wash over him.
"Luke!", Mara Jade said as a look of (I'm Sorry) formed on her face as she said, "In order to prepare her for the coming danger I need to train her, the way HE trained me!"
He just stood their holding Mara, to any passersby they were a couple sharing a hug, but in truth they shared a connection few could comprehend.
Luke understood what she meant Mara Jade had shared those memories of training under Sheev Palpatine with Luke once and seeing the brutality of it almost broke his heart!
"No, I don't intend to be that brutal!" Mara told him softly, "At least I'll try not to be!"
"But you need to rain in her dark-side!"
In his mind Luke head, It's intent, not desire that determines Good and Evil Luke Skywalker respect the darkness but do not fear it, I used The Sith's greatest weapon against them!
Luke smiled at the statement thinking, Thank you Master Shan!
A short time later at their new quarters Luke and Mara heard Lukas talking to someone that most definitely was not Rey. Out in the back they see Rey and Lukas were sparring although it would be more accurate to say Rey was sparring Lukas staff, as Lukas was sitting safely away from the danger. Lukas was using a variation of telekinetic lightsaber combat holding Rey to a stale mate.
Luke and Mara Jade stood their slack jawed, off to the side they saw Satele Shan, and a Zabrak man.
Mara knew her son was gifted but, through the Force Bond Mara asked, Luke is our son doing what I think he is!
If you mean telekinetic lightsaber combat, then yes!
"Good, Good!" the man said telling Lukas, "Rest now!"
Lukas got up and walked to Rey giving her a hug saying, "I've had more practice!"
"Daddy!" Lukas called Luke's replied, "Yes son!"
"Can we keep her!" Lukas said innocently Luke's mouth opened and then closed again not quite sure how to respond to the statement.
"Lukas!" Mara said as her head snapped to her son thinking, "She is not a pet!"
Scrunching up his face Lukas said, "Mama she got's no one!"
Looking at her son Mara thought, Oh you look so much like Luke right now!
"You want use to adopt her!" both Luke and Mara said in unison, as Lukas nodded happily.
Luke approached his son saying, "We will talk about it!".
As Lukas went to stand up his legs gave out, acting on pure instinct Rey caught him and held him in the force just long enough for her to close distance catching the boy in her arms!
Rey The former Jakku Scavenger and new Je'Daii Padawan whispers, "Rey Skywalker", I think I'd like that…
Moments later
Satele, approached Luke and Mara, "This is Jedi Battlemaster Kao Cen Darach, he knows both Jedi, and Sith fighting styles and and is willing to teach you Mara!"
That would mean that, they would know… Mara thought
Yes, they would! Luke replied
Master Darach asks, "How long have you 2 been force bonded!"
A collective (Always) was spoken from the couple.
With a light chuckle Mara said, "The first time I saw him!"
Some-time later-on a ship on the other side of the galaxy Winter was running up to General Leia Organa Solo saying, "You have a message!"
Leia reads:
Princess it's Red, meet me and Farmboy on Naboo!
Mara… is… Alive! Leia thought to herself!
Leia felt a force presence similar-to her brothers and in in her mind heard a giggling child and a telepathic message, See you soon auntie Leia!
Leia stops dead in her tracks muttering, See you soon Auntie Leia!
Meanwhile back on Tython, Lukas was in Reys arms and in a semi-conscious state, and giggling as Luke asks, "What did you just do!"
Told Auntie Leia… Lukas said innocently as his words drifted off Reading her son's last thought Mara Jade burst out laughing!
Leia is going to be surprised, Luke thought to himself.
"Luke!" Mara said, "He reached across an entire galaxy to your sister and said, "Auntie Leia See you soon!"
That caused all four masters to look at the boy, looking at Lukas Master Shan to shake her head saying, "Lukas, is like me!"
Back on the ship General Solo states, "SEE YOU SOON AUNTIE LEIA!" a little louder than she intended to, causing the entire bridge crew to look at her.
In her mind Leia heard Luke's voice say, Meet us on Naboo in 2 days and we will explain everything… Rey found Master Skywalker, just not the one you expected!
So Mara is Alive, Leia thoughtrather amused with herself
Winter came up to Leia saying, "General Organa we were able to back trace your message to somewhere in The Deep Galactic Core, we suspect The Tython System
Tython system, but they died out ages ago… didn't they! Leia thought to herself as she turned to Winter saying "Prep a Shuttle… NOW!
2 days later-on Naboo as Leia disembarked her ship she could feel four distinct Force Pressure's one she knew beyond a doubt was her brother Luke's the other was Rey's whom she met a while back and the third felt like the giggling boy she heard in her mind.
The fourth although calm exceeded her bothers in depth and was a mix of both light and dark, but there was no evil intent and that was the most confusing thing about it!
Walking down the ramp Leia spotted Luke standing with Mara Jade and a boy. Walking closer she could see the boy's hair color was a mix of both Luke's and Mara Jade's, but his eyes were the exact shade of blue as her brothers.
The Boy broke away from Luke and Mara squealing, "Auntie Leia, Auntie Leia!"
Taking a knee Leia asks, "Who might you be!"
The 9-year-old said, "I'm Lukas Skywalker Je'Daii Padawan!"
"Thinking she was correcting the boy Leia said, "Don't you mean Jedi Padawan!"
"No Auntie I mean Je'Daii!" The boy said reaching out with the force thinking, Love you Auntie Leia!
Waving his hand Lukas retracted the boarding ramp and closed the shuttle door.
Luke and Mara Jade walked up to them and Leia gave them a curious look
As Leia was about to speak Mara Jade said, "No!"
"But we need them to win!" Leia said with an undertone of frustration and an angry edge to her voice.
"Leia I can't allow that!" Mara Jade said staring down the General telling her, "As a Je'Daii Master my allegiance is to the order first, So I will not reveal the location, and if you try to probe my ship the Nava computer will purge itself, besides, you need to be trained force sensitive to find the place!"
"Highness" Mara Jade said sharply, "It's taken them 4000 years to rebuild after their last war, I think they've earned the right to sit this one out!"
Reading Leia face Mara Jade states, "I've had a great deal of time to study The Clone Wars, the reason the Jedi fell is because they were seen as an occupying force of mercenaries in service of the republic!"
Regaining her composure Mara Jade Explained, "The Je'Daii have survived by living in the shadows of history, I see no reason to change that!"
The Je'Daii Master said Flaring her latent Force Abilities just high enough to get Leia's attention.
Leia suddenly became aware of her Force Pressure and realized that eclipsed her brother Luke's. Sensing Leia Force probing Mara Jade merely winked at Leia holding her pointer finger to her lips!
"NO, I'm not a dark Jedi or a Sith, I don't fear the Darkside, but I do Respect it Leia!"
Leia looked at Mara Jade, thinking, Then why am I here!
Taking a breath Mara said, "General The Je'Daii aren't Long range weapons they aren't Mid-range weapons they aren't Close Range weapons!"
They would be kriffing dooms day weapons, nothing in the galaxy that could stop them!"
"I understand!" Leia finally said, sadly realizing she would not win the argument.
"When Rey is ready, I will send her back to you!" Mara said
"Speaking of, where is she!" Leia asks!
"Back at the Estate!" Mara Jade said, "By rights it should have gone to Luke, but he went Off Grid!"
"Were headed to The Lake Country, to Varykino!"
30 minutes later Mara Jade said softly. "This property once belonged to Padmé Amidala both yours and Luke's mother!"
Leia looked at Mara Jade, thinking, If not to get the help of the Jedi then why am I here!
Responding to the unanswered question Mara Jade said, "You will find out in a moment Leia!"
Mara placed 2 documents on the table on in front of Luke the other in front of Leia. Leia looked up in confusion!
"As far As why you're here… Read them!" Mara said softly.
Taking the document in hand Leia reads.

A second voice was heard as she entered the room, "You remind me of her!" said a disembodied woman's voice!
"Who?" Leia asks looking at the elderly women, The Wispy aged voice said, "Your Mother Padmé Amidala Skywalker!"
The Women laid a marriage license on the table. It had Artistic Filigree
